This is one of my theories too, and I am seriously hoping that’s the case. It’s either Sea-Sides, ReturnToPlasticBeach, or a revival of the website. Possibly even all three, but I’m not sure about that, it sounds almost too good to be true. But with the amount of focus they’re putting on Plastic Beach, even going so far as to put the deluxe songs on streaming, they’re definitely cooking up something phase 3 related, and I am super hyped to see what it could be! ^^

I (one of the dudes in the crew) think that we're gonna finally get Sea-Sides this year.

That new email for the Gorillaz 25 event seems to imply that there's a new hacker character who has possession of "EVERYTHING" because of the Kong Studios server's weak password.

Near the end of the email, the hacker writes "Buckle up, this ride's just getting started"

I Headcanon that Murdoc Wrote Superfast Jellyfish

I've got a little bit of proof.

Did you notice how THIN Murdoc was during Phase 3? That's Probably because there wasn't much good food, (you couldn't order pizza there and the fish they would have caught probably would have been contaminated by trash)

Ever Notice how strange the Premise of Superfast Jellyfish is? you can't eat jellyfish we all know that. while the Jellyfish of Plastic beach ended up looking as they do because of the trash. i doubt they would still actually be edible.

So, While in the Submarine one day. Murdoc was REALLY hungry, as the food in the Sub would probably have run out (2D's fault probably, he was suffering during phase 3). Mudzy saw the Mutant jellyfish out there and thought about eating them out of Delirium. he wrote a song about it when he got back to the "island"

To top it all off, he might of based the "WHURRRM" sounds off his stomach rumble

idk if you’re in the unofficial gorillaz server on discord, but there’s a bunch of dudes talking about the noodle sex slave thing and arguing that there’s nothing wrong with it and people are just being sensitive. i felt like i was going crazy, so going on here and seeing your post was a bit of a relief lol so thank you for that

You’re very welcome. I can’t believe some people don’t see the problem with this. I mean, I do. Some people can be dumb or just plain awful, but still 😭 On the flipside, me and a bunch of other people are ranting about this situation in the fan server (which btw is 1,000x better than the unofficial server). Just about everyone there agrees that nothing about that is okay. I’m seriously considering making a full-blown video essay about this and other issues with modern Gorillaz, because I’ve been fired up over just about any and everything Eleven management and the current writing team have done ever since I discovered this band. And I wanna try to raise awareness about it, because yeah, I see people talking about the issues on places like Discord or Twitter, but I’ve never seen a video bringing attention to things like the Kevin Bishop situation (which is a whole other can of worms.) or the flanderization of the band on YouTube, which is a damn shame, imo. I love this band, I love the characters especially, and are one of my biggest inspirations. It hurts to see the people in charge going entirely against what Damon and Jamie and everyone who originally worked on the project stands for. I really could keep popping off here, but I really should save it for either the previously mentioned video essay, or it’s own post on here. I’m glad I was able to help you feel understood ❤️‍🩹

I’m still wondering if these group Plastic Beach arts are diegetic or not. I feel like reasonably they wouldn’t be and are just meta art showing the lineup, but it would also be so funny/nice if there’s this untold section of story before the final battle with Boogeyman where Russel and Noodle reunite with Murdoc 2D and Cyborg. That’s what I’d headcanon but it’s pretty funny to assume they’d have the time to take loads of family portrait ahh pictures before the final showdown
