2. Janny

I think Janny’s shot was pretty underrated this week. She may not have nailed the enchanting theme of the shoot but her unique look itself is so alluring. She kept it simple and stupid, but also chic and editorial. She highlighted the best aspect of her face, caught the light perfectly, and like Adela, captured her word in a unique way. She looks very enchanting (haha I’m funny). I love the come hither yet seriousness in her eyes, they’re very soft compared to the rest of the face, where she looks hard. It’s a very nice contrast of emotions that makes Janny’s shot stand out to me more than more visually interesting shots like Ina and Angela’s. Janny may have the most simple shot of the bunch but she kept to that theme well while also keeping it her personality.

Far Away Today

Ooo you know, I could see this being the kind of story that goes back and forth from past to present. Or more like a mystery that works backwards from the ending to the beginning to be solved.

Tim had files. Well he had a file. And a victim currently recuperating in a hospital bed, in a secure room― Which, in hindsight, was probably what led to the giant freak out earlier that nearly resulted in him losing an arm. The place they'd picked this poor guy out of wasn't all too different from a hospital really. And that shifted one too many things into an uncomfortable perspective that he wasn't going to delve into right now; there was a time and a place to reflect on such cruelty, neither of which he was in possession of at the moment.

But back to the file. It was the only thing that didn't require specialized decryption: A label denoting the victim as PHNTM-001, a list detailing proper restraint methods to counteract the most dangerous of his known abilities, and a chart of disturbingly low vitals.

Not a lot to go off of, and decryption of the rest of the database secured from the Ghost Investigation Ward was proving to be more troublesome than initially first perceived. And then there was the members of this so called 'ward' themselves. Stubborn assholes, from those that had survived the raid.

Tim wasn't supposed to question the victim on his own, thanks to the earlier altercation. But looking at the guy now, he seemed far to exhausted to do anything other than breathing. And more than anything he looked so... lost. He'd seen similar behaviors in victims of kidnappings that'd been held underground for a long, long time. He didn't want to shock the guy, but surely a few minutes of conversation would help him not feel so displaced.

"You probably want to know my story." Was the first thing out of PHNTM's mouth with a voice so damaged it could barely manage to scratch even a whisper.

"Only if you feel you are well enough to share it," he responded in kind. "What does the beginning of your story look like?"

"Surgery 90210."

Tim felt his stomach bottom out and give way to the soles of his feet. "Pardon?"

Was that the number of 'surgeries' that had been performed on him?

"The last surgery I remember, before the spandex brigade lit that shit hole up like the Fourth of July. I remember it because of all the normal, human things they had to talk about, it was a rerun episode of Beverly Hills 90210."

His mouth had gone dry, yet somehow he managed to say, "That sounds more like the end of the story than a beginning."

Something wry pulled at the scabbed corners of PHNTM's mouth. "Who died and made you the narrator?"

Is there anywhere I can get like, full color comics of the ENEMY series? I love them and I love the colors but I remember back when enemy 001 was first released it was just black and white (totally understandable, also someone threw in a sketch with it on a chunk of cardboard and it was so sick) and was just wondering if you had found like a publisher or something.

those was phntm red & blu im pretty sure, me & mikah made them at like, staples, with like, zero planning, when mikah came 2 my house we did not even plan on doing any gf shit we was just regular kicking it and then we ended up doin it anyway. they was black and white bc we did 1 in color and realized very quickly it would just straight overdraw my acct to make like more than 8 of them so we compensated for tht fact by making like 100 additional things tht went inside of them, including like, tht cardboard chunk, and probably some yugiohs we vandalized. there was one where itwas like a guy holding 2 swords and mikah wrote "damn i got both" on it

1. Adela

Adela nailed the assignment and made a sassy but sensual shot! The sly confidence in her face is exhilarating! I love the flowly movement of her pose, it feels so gentle and delicate. Even with that, this is a beauty shot first and foremost and Adela excelled at that part of it! The closed eyes really work here, even if it’s a beauty shot, she’s still showcasing a lot of her unique bone structure (also most of the girls eyes were closed with this so can I even judge for that really). The cocky open mouth with the closed eyes is a nice combo, I kinda like the vibe that she’s about to whisper a secret to the cat she’s holding (who is so cute by the way!). I 100% agreed with Adela getting a FCO from the judge, she was so strong during the session and her sassy take at this shot embodies her perfectly!
