whenever someone asks me for help or advice i want to beam all my lived experience and advice that helped me through it directly into their mind to try and spare them as much pain and stress as possible, but because i cant actually do that what ends up happening is i dump everything i know related to that topic hoping something helps them like

#and yes. i am the older sibling i am quite literally the guinea pig by birthright #its hardwired into me to make thing as painless as possible for my little brother that it ends up becoming a huge part of my personality #but i also have adhd so my version of advice is 'blurt out everything that might be even a little related to the situation #and pray that something sticks with them'#also like its hard to describe but sometimes you wont really get what someone means because its just the wrong person or wrong time #when i was a kid my dad would explain how to solve a math problem and i wouldnt get it until someone else explained it to me #and something *clicked*. and then when id tell my dad i learned smth new he'd say i LITERALLY said the same thing you just #werent listening or smth. but its not that at all.. i cant really know what its like for smth to click until it happens #i used to think i wasnt ace bc everything i saw talking abt asexuality didnt ring any bells until i found someone talking abt #something that i DID resonate with and then i went from there. so i guess what im trying to say its one thing to share what i learned #and another thing for someone to go through something or hear it from someone else to really get what i mean. shrugs #yapping

#like. oh my god.#I don’t talk about my guinea pigs that often on here but I need u guys to know that they exist and I love them so fucking much #guinea pigs #the one on the left is boo berry #middle is trix #right is cocoa puff #booboo is a neutered boar and he’s the sweetest little baby ever. he’s so laid back and calm #trix is skittish and very feisty #cocoa puff is a grouchy old lady these days but in her youth she was a very intelligent and friendly piggie #louie.txt #I used to have another one named coffee bean but she sadly passed away recently #so I adopted trix and booboo as companions for cocoa puff #The introduction went really well but I think cocoa puff is a bit thrown off bc trix and booboo are young (trix is 11mo booboo is 2y)#shes like get these goddamn kids off my lawn!!!!!!#we both miss coffee bean a lot #we had some time to prepare bc she was sick for a couple months before her passing #but waking up one morning to find her dying was very shocking and traumatizing #she was my little baby i miss her #she was skittish and shy but sweet. no hint of attitude in her she was just anxious #unlike trix who is both anxious and full of unbridled rage #anyways #Rest In Peace Coffee Bean youll always be my little baby

Just finished the show a few days ago, so that's why I'm only just posting this now.

#found out last night in a family video chat that one of my younger cousins is planning on going into the police academy in florida #and i've been sick about it all day #apparently my uncle who is a retired nypd sergeant doesn't even want him to do it #but my cousin thinks its the only straightforward path to stability?#i remember talking to my aunt a while back when i was getting my adhd diagnosis and she mentioned that she thought my cousin fit the profil #and had been struggling a lot with school and just motivation #he decided not to go to college bc he just felt like he couldn't go through it which is fine but now i think he's struggling from that #bc apparently he was doing volunteer work with kids and loved it and wanted to look into becoming a preschool or kindergarten teacher #but the amount of schooling was too daunting for him both process and costwise #and they're gagging for cops down there and it's 20yrs and a guaranteed pension after that #and i'm just sick to my stomach about it bc this is a kid who wants to be a ***preschool teacher*** he's such a sweet kid #he's really sensitive and gentle and i'm just sick over the fact that he feels like the constructive field of becoming an educator #is inaccessible to him on all levels -- and the pigs are there with open arms #just thinking of him being broken by the police academy into that mold is sickening #*especially* in florida where considering the laws he's gonna be having to enforce.....#like kid you're gonna have to be bashing in the heads of queer protestors. antifascist protestors. climate activists. striking laborers.#what kind of brutality are they gonna do to make him agree to that #beyond the brutality of inaccessibility that's brought him to this point so far???#my sisters and i decided we're gonna talk to him about it -- i'm gonna def hear what he's thinking when i'm home #i'm just...like i said i'm just sick about it

#sometimes when i get sad or irritated ill think about how when i was working behind the bar at komos for a couple months #the last time i went home for a couple months #&this guy would come in every night i worked&get so fucking wrecked i needed to drive him home #&the last time i did this it was bc he asked me for 'my strongest shot' so i gave him a four horseman&he basically died #&i was bitching about it to security on my way out the door-- to drive him home. again.-- &our security guy was like #'you know he really likes you. thats why he keeps getting so drunk&making you drive him home.'#&i was basically like 'fucking and? how is this impressive?'#&he was like-- I KID YOU NOT-- 'well you know. he's a cop. so he's a good guy.'#&i laughed so fucking hard that he didnt even know what to say&then refused to drive his drunk cop friend home.#i never saw him again. :)♡ the end.#ive worked at two different cop bars in my life&the stories from those places specifically are always so insane #but the wildest parts are always the cops hitting on me like i dont wish literal death upon them&all their cohorts.#... anyway i saw the footage of that cop talking about that woman being struck&killed by a fucking pig #&its just a good time as always to remember that all cops are bastards&if anyone should be gauging the worth of human life #it shouldnt be a farm animal who rolls in its own shit that learned how to put on a uniform&pull a trigger at civilians. ♡
