Some last thoughts on 95 before I listen to 96. Follow up from this post. Because I realized I didn't actually post any thoughts, just complained lol.

The Neil and Wynn hug immediately broke me. I did cry on the plane during the first listen but I did not cry the second time. Go me! 🎉

The list also had me 😭😭😭 crying on the plane. And I just relistened to 88 where they talk about it. So I was extra 😭😭😭 this time around.

I am pretty sure on the plane when that was brought up again I said "you motherfuckers" very quietly. There was NO WAY that phone call was going to happen.

I know people have been waiting longer than me for the Nara and Neil conversation but I feel like I am dying. Every episode my hopes are dashed against the rocks repeatedly.

AND WYNN OH MY GOD WYNN. Banger lines. "I have given. I am taking." And the put me down then. And the whole he doesn't mean the most to me but i am in love with him. Not to mention the code message which has rightfully gotten lots and lots of love. Incredible all around 👏

All in all a devastating choice to make at the end. I am not a strategy person but the whole weathers vs amaya choice. Idk. Couldnt theoretically more Kindred be saved if they go after Amaya and the Anarchs? I've seen people speculate that by saving the Anarchs they could set themselves up for more conflict in the future, but also in 88 Johnny and I think Miles and Neil?? All mentioned a non-Camarillan future like even outside of New Haven. So is that conflict really a warrented point against going after Amaya? Also. Weathers left the Camarilla. That was definitely a thing he did. He was in it with Amaya. So does he still have the sway and power that the coterie believes he does over Camarillan brujah? Or was it more Brujah in general than specific sects? Like if he's lost status with the Camarilla and he's just one person. Wouldn't saving Amaya make more sense outside of sentimentality and personal connection? Idk I am not a strategy person. I also want none of them to die lol. So you know. There's that.

I know there's no right answer to this question and that's the point. Narratively it's a really juicy decision that's going to drive character development one way or another, especially for Wynn (and now arguably Neil?? Whatever the fuck his deal is). And Johnny.

Speaking of Neil. Oh boy. I did make a post about the whole Wynn thing. I've, like others, been 👀👀👀 about it. I do wonder how much the bond has had an impact on all that. I should go back and listen to pre-bonded Neil to Neil now. But I think either way, he would follow Wynn to the ends of the earth. Also I stand by qpr neil/wynn. You can pry it from my cold dead hands.
