I choose this image as the viewer can use it as a window while seeing the fragility and brokenness of the wing structure maintained by threads as I imagine how the Mayfly's wing may look after it has descended into the water at the end of its own lifecycle.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I continued to experiment and play with my fragile wing after it dissolved in the river.
As the weather here is at -3 it was a perfect opportunity to get an array of images as it froze in the cold misty air.

A little gif while it is caught in the movement of a frozen plant.

Unleashing Creativity: Exploring the World of Gundam Build Fighters
Tumblr media
Who doesn’t love watching giant robots fight each other? Watching as these titans fight each other to see who will come out on top in the end is truly mesmerizing. Gundam knows this, which is why they centered their franchise around this premise. Oftentimes, when fans build their own models (Gunpla), they can’t help but fantasize about using them to battle each other. Wouldn’t it be great if you could use that Gunpla you spent so much time building to fight yourself?
Tumblr media
Well, the anime Gundam Build Fighters thought it would. That’s why they decided to center a whole anime around this very premise. Our story follows Iori Sei, an amazing Gunpla builder who loves both building and fighting. Unfortunately, while he loves to fight, he absolutely sucks at it. In comes Reiji, a mysterious boy who is a natural prodigy when it comes to Gunpla battles. The two decide to work together, with Iori acting as the builder and support while Reiji does the battling. Together the two fight many battles in hopes of becoming the very best Gunpla battlers. The premise itself is very basic and nothing groundbreaking. However, that is part of the charm of the anime. So many times when it comes to Gundam and mecha anime in general situations are life-or-death with battles usually never being anything less. Due to this you can often find yourself focusing less on the cool mecha battles and more on whether your favorite character is going to survive. The beauty of Build Fighters is that they take away this dread from the equation. Without the need to worry about if someone will survive or not, you can instead focus on the awesomeness that is mecha fighting each other.
Tumblr media
Build Fighters also allows more freedom in the types of battles that you’ll see. Thanks to the fact that these are toys at the end of the day, the writers can get very creative with the types of Gundam that you’ll see. Some that you would never think to find in a normal show can now be seen here with crazy modifications. This leads to limitless possibilities that will even cause you to want to get creative.
Tumblr media
So, if you are looking for a fun mecha anime that won’t have you constantly worry about your favorite character dying, look no further than Gundam Build Fighters.

TRANSLATION Yesterday I bought myself a plastic washing machine cover. Yes, you got it right, I bought myself a washing machine cover, and that alone should be a disqualifying thing against me. If you saw, however, the pattern that is in the fabric, which is not fabric it is plastic, bad plastic, of this, of this contraption you would put your hands in your hair because it is as horrible as a person can imagine. You will ask excuse me, why are you so dumb? You buy something bad and then tell everyone in your podcast about it? The fact is that I am a lover of kitsch. What is kitsch? Kitsch is that thing, those things that want to be artistic and instead are terrible, very ugly, trivial, have absolutely no value. Think about the tea towels with the Mona Lisa on them, that's it, things like that. So my plastic washer cover, which by the way I had a hell of a time getting it on my washing machine, is plastic, ugly plastic of the thick kind and also hard to get in, to wear if you are a washing machine, but the funniest thing, and the one also that prompted me to make this crazy purchase for the incredible sum of 4.99€, is the designs that are in this washer cover. It's divided into many squares, many squares, and in each square there is a very realistic photograph of bread buns, rolls, ears of corn above an improbable Tyrolean wooden table, and behind it are these blue skies and these crazy views. It looks like something out of a horror movie, and it completely covers the white washing machine that we have in the second bathroom, inside some kind of shelf, so it's not like you can see that much. But when I saw it, though, it struck me in its ugliness, because that's how kitsch works with me, there are certain things that I find horrible, but so horrible that they begin to be beautiful and interesting because of their ugliness. And I've always had this thing here. Even as a young girl I used to put on strange earrings, tinsel, I do strange combinations, stripes with flowers, because evidently I have this internal compass of mine that sees things in its own way and that usually, almost never, matches what people consider beautiful and consider right to do. So now I'm enjoying my washing machine with washer cover, I haven't used it yet, meaning I haven't had to open the zips to fill the washer yet. I will tell you if it works.

I'm the Pink Elephant but you may know me as Noel/PlasticFantastic/PlasticTasticc.  The way I express myself is through Raytraced Minecraft Worlds, and I think it may even be considered art. See for yourself.

This was a second attempt to recreate the Mayflys reproduction within its short but vital existence to lay its larvae into the rivers and lakes. I'm happyier with this version.
