Your aus just being overwhelming pessimism kinda sucks. Rot being “everybody gets infected, Shadow!s infected and gonna die too, there is no counter.” Is so basic and dreary, it’s like an unfinished story where the next page would be that being broken through some crazy hype storytelling that inspires hope. What’s the point in having characters if you’re just killing all of them with no good in the world? The world sucks, do your best to make it BETTER, not sit around and mope about it!

I read one of you fics on friedrich. Are u using chatgpt AI? lol, it's so obvious, with the I, II, III, IV, ETC. The lack of emotions and everything just scream AI. You're not fooling everyone in the community boo. It's like dishonoring actual AMAZING writers by posting one that doesn't deserve the recognition that it's getting. Try different prompts next time, add "make it humane or with emotions." 🤯

First of all, thanks for taking the time to read the fic—even if your comment is less about constructive feedback and more about baseless accusations. Just to clarify: I literally mentioned in the post that it was my first time writing for Friedrich and that I had just watched the movie. Of course it wouldn’t be perfect. That’s kind of how beginnings work? I also clearly stated that the fic was divided into multiple parts—I, II, III, IV, etc.—for my clarity, because that’s how I organize longer pieces. It’s not an AI thing, it’s a basic formatting choice.

And honestly, if you’d taken even a second to read any of my other posts, you’d know I’m a huge AI hater. I’m proudly human, thank you very much, and I enjoy the process of crafting words from scratch. I’m confident in my writing, and I know the difference between robotic text and emotional storytelling, because I actually give a damn about what I create.

Sure, I use Google and translation apps sometimes. So do most writers. It’s called expanding your vocabulary, not cheating. And yes, that Friedrich fic was one of my starting pieces. I was just beginning my Aaron Taylor-Johnson masterlist and wasn’t yet fully used to writing his characters. But that doesn’t mean it lacked emotion. It was an angst fic, and if you’d bothered to read the rest of my work, you’d see that I actually wrote only fluff before that one. I stepped out of my comfort zone. That takes effort, not artificial intelligence.

Look—I get that not every piece is for everyone. That’s fine. But throwing around false accusations and acting like you’re some literary gatekeeper is just plain shitty. If you don’t like the way I write? Leave. Seriously. My blog is a safe and comfortable space for people who enjoy my work—not a playground for people who want to tear others down.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I know I’ve grown as a writer since then. If you have the time (and, hopefully, a more open mind), maybe read some of my newer pieces. But if you’re just here to throw shit and go? The unfollow button is right there.

I am so so sorry to be the bearer of bad news, and I really do feel bad about it because of how many I get in a given day, but...

I don't actually take requests.

I'M SORRY !!! I'm such a people pleaser and saying no literally makes me nauseous so this is really hard to type. There's thousands of people interacting with my posts and enjoying my stories every day (which I am SO grateful for) but with that kind of attention comes an overloaded ask box that I can't help but be a little overwhelmed by ;;

Everyone is more than welcome to send them to me anyway, and I promise I see them... but I have to make it clear that if you choose to do so, you're henceforth accepting that I might not acknowledge it. If I were to respond to every one I ever received with a refusal, I think I would flood everyone's feed. I physically and mentally can't create content for every single one I get (unfortunately).

Yes, sometimes I'll receive something that sparks the creative flow– in which case I did technically take a request– but despite recent evidence to the contrary, those instances are actually pretty rare.

I'm not saying this to discourage anyone from sharing their ideas with me or to make anyone feel bad, but in the last month or so I think I've received roughly 20+ requests. It might not seem like a big number, but it is pretty daunting for me.

I encourage anyone sending me fic prompts to do the same with other great writers contributing to the HL/LaDS fandoms !! There are lots of talented creators here on Tumblr that would love to whip up oneshots or multi-chapter works for some of the wonderful ideas everyone is submitting, and some who actually already have ! I've definitely seen and read fics recently that match some of the requests I'm getting to a T :))

Anyway, I'm sorry for the long post. I really do feel bad having to publicly state it like this, but I feel worse knowing that some people might be waiting for me to publish something for their requests. I wish I was the kind of writer who could create thoughtful stories for each individual prompt I get, but sadly I cannot :((
