You and another author inspired me to create a Neteyam series. Ive got the first two chapters outlined and some other major key parts that will be used for the story. Though like you, I am going to work on it in my own time. Trial and error is a major factor in tha arts, and I'm willing to tread that path so I can post this series when the time comes.

At the moment I'm unemployed, but I've been offered a job. The amount of drafts I have is insane (127), they consist of prompt ideas, one shot ideas, series ideas, head cannons, all about the avatar characters (Mostly Neteyam & Ao'nung ngl). I've never been so involved in a fandom that my daydreaming ass is dedicated to turning my thoughts into art.

I feel like when i get my shit together, and actually go after my goals and explore the skill sets i have, I'll be more confident in my ability to actually do things. So when i get a job, when im out and about, I'll be more motivated to continue my writing.

I feel useless because I'm not studying and everybody else is 😅. Honestly i don't know what to study or if im prepared to. There are so many options and it just collides with all of my interests. I have so many interests and hobbies and i love learning, i just feel as though im wasting my talents and brain cells.

Nah its cool baby, I'll get there eventually. 😁🩷

I couldn’t agree more, when it comes to writing it’s kind of just grooving til you hit a streak- which can be hard when life’s super busy. I have so much real world shit going on, that sometimes it takes me a minute to be able to come back to the little worlds I create.

Using writing as a form of escapism and self therapy has helped my mental. Like so much. I will never stress about when I’m going to get a “new chapter out” or when I’m going to “answer asks or requests” because this is my me time.

Okay I’m gonna give you two little pieces of advice that really aren’t advice at all. Just my two cents!

Working doesn’t equal validity. You are valid just by existing-

But on the flip side I get not feeling settled enough in real life to kind of be comfortable exploring hobbies. I get in my own head about it all the time. Being human is hard, choosing your path is fucking HARD.

I have faith that things will align just right.

Redacted Audio / Kenju Audio Comparison

PSA: just found this very interesting how similar the two are - I am NOT accusing Xander of stealing Erik’s content

I made a table comparing different character types/video titles and I found that there's a redacted vid that perfectly aligns with every kenju vid - it's linked in the replies if anyone wants it

With the videos, some titles are so similar they're basically exactly same, eg. "Bakadere Empathy Daemon Asks You For Help" [R] / "Werewolf Hunter Asks For Help" [K] and "Tsundere Werewolf Boyfriend Teaches You How To Cook A Meal" [R] / "Trying To Cook Dinner With Your Tsundere Werewolf Boyfriend" [K]

Thumbnail design - when i saw a kenju vid pop up on my feed, ngl I thought it was one of us making a redacted thumbnail as fanart bc I've seen that been done before

I've seen some people say "oh he's inspired by erik's channel" yes i know, but being inspired and having your stuff be the same are two different things (guys please don't attack me, i dont mean this to be malicious)

I checked on here to see if someone else had noticed it before i had and saw a couple people had - thank god it's not just me

character similarities: I looked at the two channels side by side and I could easily put the characters in pairs, eg. "Grumpy Medic" = Sam, "Biker Wolf" = David, etc

IDK if this is a standard "don't copy my work message" taken from somewhere but they both have the same thing in their video descriptions

people going “well we can’t know! it’s so complicated and mysterious! you’re wrong for judging!” whenever a character does anything that isn’t morally pure is something I hate so fucking much bc not only do people often sprinkle in some good old fashioned real life victim blaming by trying to state that the action is so complicated and morally grey irl too even if it’s something like murdering someone for no reason but it’s also just like. bro why do you like this character if you think they’re so unknowable either the character is terribly written or you have negative media comprehension skills like even mysterious characters who don’t tell the truth a lot can be analysed? figure out the patterns, what they stay consistent about, what we know is a lie and what isn’t to figure out what else might be lies or might be truth, and you can easily figure out their basic personality and motivation. but like, that normally makes them flawed and sometimes horrible people and we're allergic to liking characters that aren’t morally good anymore i guess. you can’t even handle morally grey characters without trying to justify their every action as okay let alone straight up villains. hell, you can’t even handle heroes that fuck up once you either think they’re evil ontologically forever or argue that their fuck up was totally fine actually like. please realise you can enjoy media and analyse it without having to make everyone a one note goodie or baddie. and slapping on the label morally grey doesn’t fix it y'all don’t even know what that means.

.... So it's been a week since we've last seen you. I know why you're gone but still. I miss you. We all do. Someone asked @angelcloves about you actually, they were worried why you haven't been posting. Fae was kinda polite and discrete about it, don't worry.

Nothing much has been going on really, more of the same actually. @el-fandom-birb and @stars-and-birds had a lovers quarrel over a meme (???) and now they're being dorky vampire/werewolf lovers. Send help. @haystarlight has been tagging Human as per usual. OH! Charolette is gonna make a continuation to that chess match fic between Papa Titan and Caleb! (Still don't know much about chess but I thought you'd appreciate it.)

Speaking of fics, remember that one post I reblogged with a looot of tags talking about a potential AU? I asked Charolette for some advice and fae were really nice! Still have yet to do anything for it, haven't even written the draft yet hahahaha

We got a ToH PostHoot and everyone has been going nuts over the new info (Huntlow is bi4pan, Raine's palismen was in their violin, Evelyn was Flapjack's witch, Caleb and her were friends (cuz he was really interested in magic lol) but ya know how that goes lol, she was also a Clawthorne but no one knows apparently and a lot more I'm blanking on)
