But for daily use see him using an older Daihatsu Rocky - before any electronic gadgets were added like a HUD - because it's a quiet enough engine to be stealth as far as cars go, but rugged enough to deal with snow and ice and mountainous terrain.

Lin Kuei is usually presented with the traditional aesthetic but we can’t forget this is a very technology advanced clan whose agents operated worldwidely. In old comics (Mortal Kombat II Collector's Edition) Lin Kuei were using hover jet on their mission

So yes, I do think each of our main Lin Kuei warriors learned to drive car and motorbike at some point, maybe even piloting advanced machinery. Whatever they use that skill is a different matter though as I suspect it greatly depended on the nature of their missions (a quick assassination or long-termed undercover job) and where they were sent (urban or hard-to-reach areas). 

Personally I like to think if Bi-Han was forced to drive, his choice would be a sport motorbike rather than a car, while others were okay with any type of car, as only Bi-Han was said to stubbornly refusing to use technology on his missions

but I feel like motorbike would fit well his “lone wolf” attitude.

i hate so much how jk rowling turned out to be a massive shitter AND a fuckhead because now whenever people try to engage with harry plopper criticism it's almost never about how the writing actually sucks and how the worldbuilding is nonsensical and inconsistent and how it's not even really a fantasy novel because it doesn't participate in any sort of conversation about the fantasy genre or how there's no fucking ending to the entire goddamn story like it just ends when voldemort dies and that's it fuck you for caring about these characters and their struggle or how the main character literally does not have any sort of character arc at all and instead people just wanna talk about how the goblins are antisemitic because they have big noses and like money for three hours

Definitely not the only ones feeling this way. Really wish these kinds of feelings weren't dismissed. I get that not everyone is going to get along, but when ppl express feelings of not belonging or loneliness, the reaction shouldn't be to call these people 'whiners' or to vague-post about them. No one likes to feel left out and invalidated when they express such feelings. I don't post things here just for me. I know everyone says to do that, but really, we do this not only for ourselves, but to show other people what we can do. And when those posts flop or barely anyone sees or interacts, it stings all the same and that feeling sucks. Timezones suck and Tumblr is a fickle mistress, but regardless...feelings of being not seen sucks ass. I dunno what can be done to mitigate such feelings, but it does bum me out that so many of us feel this way....and that others would rather just mock or dismiss instead of being a wee bit empathetic and sympathetic. But I guess that's what humans are these days...

Context and Dispelling Misinformation

There was a vaguepost shared within the cp77 fandom by another person and it really needs some context and clarification. This is the only time I will talk about this and after I share this, I am moving on with my life and not returning to it.

I am going to say this first: do not use this a reason to attack others. This is not drama or discourse and once I share this, I will be moving on and not adding more to it. Do not take this as an attack or an attempt to stir up shit, because it is not in any way, shape or form. All this is, is to clarify a vaguepost that concerns me and other people who have the same concern as me.

This vaguepost was directed towards me and a post that I had made in a small, private server consisting of people I considered to be my friends. The basic context of this is; I made a post expressing my feelings of loneliness and isolation and it was completely misconstrued and then vague-posted about in a very invalidating and hurtful way. The post in question invalidates all the other people who have also expressed their feelings of being left out and unwanted before. Because I am not the only person who has talked about feeling like they don't belong in the fandom. Are all of those people 'whiny asses' too? (Check alt text for description of images)

My post had absolutely nothing to do with this person. I did not mention them, I did not refer to them, I was only expressing something that I had been worrying about in a channel dedicated specifically to offering support in my small, personal server. I genuinely do not know why they felt the need to make this vague post and say the things they said in it.

Also, nowhere in my post did I make any mention of being concerned about the number of notes. I did not say or imply anywhere that I'm scared of losing notes or reblogs. Because I'm not worried about that. What I said was that I'm scared I won't have a place to belong because I've always been an outsider. I'm not part of any cliques or groups and I never have been. I don't think it's me being a 'whiny ass' to want human connection and to want people I can talk to and be friends with. Is it stupid of me to want friends? Is it stupid of all the other people who have expressed similar sentiments?

I vented in my small, cp77 based server called Red Dirt to people that I believed were my friends about something that's been worrying me since late 2022. I wasn't aware that being vulnerable in front of my friends was "attention-seeking, whiny ass" behaviour and I didn't know that I'd be seen as annoying for getting something off of my chest. I genuinely thought that the people in that server were people I could trust and people I could be open with hence why it remained in the server.

This post invalidates a lot of people's feelings and it's just plain hurtful to name-call people for wanting human connection. It's not just me who has been open about feeling left out and ignored. I'm not the only person who has expressed that they feel unwanted and like they don't belong anymore in the fandom. Another person very recently has expressed similar sentiments and had valid concerns. Another vague-post by the same person was made in regards to that and was again, very invalidating and hurtful. It's ironic that this person, after targeting someone who has never done anything wrong to anyone, stated "stay kind" as if them hurting a large group of people was kind and peaceful.

Going forward, all I'm asking for are two things; some compassion and empathy for people who are struggling in the fandom, and to not resort to ranty, targeted vagueposts as a means to try solve personal-level issues. Vagueposts don't solve problems. We have seen this multiple times in this fandom. All they do is open up the doors to harmful assumptions and allow for misconstruing words/intentions into something they are not. This kind of misinformation creates more problems than it fixes.

When there's a choice, I prefer to wash it every two days, any more often than that tends to dry my scalp out. Unfortunately, missions and campaigns rarely let this be consistent.

Conditioner is actually my secret weapon, the general's...umm...friend, Senator Amidala told me about this amazing brand that helps keeps curls nice and defined, and helps them from frizzing up.

I tend to finger comb my hair while it's still damp, not completely wet, but not dry either. The combs that come with our standard hygiene kit are not longhair friendly

I have not had much time or credits to experiment with many creams, gels and so on, so if you have any recommendations 👀

Scrunching is the best method for me....especially since using ones spare set of blacks as a less abrasive towel is frowned upon...

Again, there isn't much room for things like fancy pillow cases on missions, but someday it would be nice to try these things!

Now, since I've shared my secrets, I have to say I'm a little curious who your first favorite is, cyare, since I'm only your second favorite 🧐
