Thinking of the the time my phone died mid-listening to new ep of malevolent and my hungry ass was so desperate to finish it that I downloaded the podcast app on my laptop but didn't want anyone else to hear the trademark Suspicious Pain Noises so I just sat there in bed volume low holding it up to my ear like this

the bluetooth chip in my beloved ikea eneby speaker (with the gay pride front cover) decided abruptly to stop connecting to devices today TT__TT i cracked the thing open of course and had a look but unplugging and replugging various cables had no effect; next course of action is probably to try to resolder the bluetooth daughter board (which i HAVE identified, thank you ifixit) except i still haven't unpacked my soldering iron post move and now it's buried in the shed in one of several boxes all of which are behind the woodworking bench and like three bikes. fortunately the 3.5mm jack still works so i THINK my strat is going to be to just fucking plug in one of those bluetooth 3.5mm adapters until i can get my tools unfucked enough to hopefully fix it properly. and of course i can't just get a replacement because ikea has discontinued the eneby because fuck you that's why

Ear protection!! It's so important for a lot of autistics. Mainly for us. We need ear protection 24/7 but at times we don't think we need them, and we regret it after.. We get overstimulated quickly. But the mornings are so hectic we forget our ear protection, whether it's our headphones or earplugs, and it was bad. This is your reminder. Ear protection protects us. It protects you. It helps us. It helps you. Wear your ear protection. ☂️ - Allison

Really the best I could make it look; this was drawn on a notepad with yellow paper. Also the "connect to desktop" app apparently likes to spontaneously select whether it's working or not; I wanted to try using it to get this on my computer easier, but I wound up having to do things the old fashioned way, i.e. sending to myself via email and downloading it from there. Boo.
Anyways, it's the boy!! Isn't that grand? I really like the boy, you know.
If you're wondering about the eyes; that's completely intentional! Cobalt was sometimes depicted in the manga as finding humans to be strange, in a way that almost seemed like he found them nonsensical at times, even.
(Like eating through their mouths, for instance; that's irrelevant to my particular take on him, however.)
So I took that a step further and made him... somewhat bad at being "human-like", more so than either of his siblings. Though it's also completely canon that he's not that great at being a robot, either... at least not in all the ways that he was originally designed to be, no matter which origin story you consult for this information.
Thus, a sort of static, mildly unsettling "pleasant" expression as a default; otherwise he'd probably be kind of blank. He doesn't want to unsettle humans, but this is the least unsettling he's capable of making it... at least, for now. He doesn't necessarily want humans to know what he's thinking or feeling at any given moment outside of what he tells them, either, though.

Re:Kinder Fun fact time!! Did you know? 😊
Yuuichi's theme song (the one that often accompanies his entrances with "Vamos Cantar!"), 新しい夏のナナ, is not in any latin language such as Spanish or Portuguese, despite its lyrics sounding as such. It's actually in Hanamogera, which to put it simply is nonsense speech based on japanese syllables. So the song's lyrics are essentially gibberish meant to imitate the sound of latin music! 😊
It is listed as such in the source site for the song, oo39.com, where the song can be found as "YS068" in the hanamogera category.
Additional fun fact! The song can also be found in Spotify as Vien Nana by Oo39.com themselves alongside a few other select songs from the site. So you can properly enjoy the song on the platform without having to import it from your local files.
Those are the fun Re:Kinder related fun facts for today... Use them to entertain your friends at parties ! ☺️
