Quel est le pluriel des noms ? Le singulier et le pluriel en français

Les noms peuvent être employés au singulier ou au pluriel. En règle générale, on obtient le pluriel d'un nom en ajoutant un S à la fin du mot au singulier mais il existe des exceptions que vous devez connaître.

ok so like, i was in french class bored as hell and i thought "hey. what if i tried to tell my teacher i was plural in french" and so here you go, some miscellaneous plural-related terms, bone apple teeth introject terms: fictive = un fictif (m./n.) une fictive (f.) des fictifs (m. pl.) factive = un factif (m./n.) une factive (f.) des factifs (m. pl.) songtive = un chansontif (m./n.) une chansontive (f.) des chansontifs (m. pl.) group terms in french! (these have already been coined/discovered, i just want to put this list out there for any plurals learning french) system = un système collective = un collectif plural = pluriel ----- traumagenic = traumagenique (?) endogenic = endogenique othergenic = autregenique mixed origin/multigenic = multigenique ------ to say your collective/system name in french, you put the name after the word system/collective/etc. so for example, instead of saying "the lemon collective", you'd say «le collectif citron» (lit: the collective lemon), since the system/collective name doesn't follow the BAGS-exception rule and is thus put after the word "collective"/"system". [same thing with «système», you'd say «le système citron» (lit: the system lemon)] ------ "i&" in french: i'm not sure if any plural francophones use «je&» (when typing), however you could always just say «je» or «nous», then again i haven't encountered a plural francophone so that rule isn't set in stone for the time being. ----------- i may add stuff to this as i go along! I'm so glad I could help!! Feel free to come back if you have more questions, anon or not. Maybe if I explain the rules of French enough I'll actually have more than a vibes-based understanding of it.

The book version of the Bescherelle is a required purchase for all middle schoolers in France, you spend a few weeks learning irregular verbs and their most obscure conjugations. The website just lets you enter any verb and see it all conjugated for you, which is much easier than picking up the little book, look for your verb in the alphabetically ordered list of most verbs in the french language, and then seeing which page of the like 100+ different patterns for conjugations your one verb belongs to. There's a few really big groups that all work according to the same easy pattern, and then there's little groups of a few verbs, all subtly different in which vowel becomes which, and then you have to replace the example verb with the one you were looking up. A whole thing. I'm old enough that none of my teachers told us to look up the website, which I'm assuming they must do for kids nowadays. (that was a tangent but I'm assuming you know how I am haha)
