-is a 🍫choco pocky🍫 boi

-Once the round starts, he is SUPER FAST

-Not taking things slow at all

-he def takes BIG bites to get to the middle quick where it gets more intense

-this sly boi wld chuckle or grin if he sees that u get flustered, it amuses him

-if ur not easily flustered, he wld try his best to get a reaction out of u (hold the back of ur head, get closer, etc.)

-his goal for the game was to make u blush

-may or may not have agreed to the game bcs he wld have a chance to kiss the lips of his fav person

-wld make eye contact w/ u to make it more interesting as ur lips get closer

-at the end of the round, he has his signature grin

-if he’s the one holding onto the last piece, he wld taunt u to get it w/o touching his lips

-if its u, he wld swiftly steal the pocky from u n his lips might have grazed urs🤭

-his heart is secretly fluttering but he doesn’t show any sign of embarrassment

-wld ask to play a few more rounds with a big grin(more chances for him to ‘accidentally’ touch ur lips)

Fujio

-Yasushi and Kiyoshi dared Fujio and u to participate in the game

-probably bcs u and fujio had such great chemistry

-Pressured by the duo until u guys agreed

-had to explain the game at least 2 times to Fujio

-i get 🍪cookies n cream pocky🍪 vibes from him

-has a slow but steady speed at the start of the round

-bites carefully when ur faces get closer

-his eyes was focusing on the pocky thats getting shorter and shorter as time passes by

-once he sees ur lips he looks up

-got flustered af when he made eye contact w/ u as ur lips got closer

-the feeling of ur warm breathe fanning his face didn’t help his flusteredness

-in the end, he held onto one end as u continued biting away at the tiny bit of pocky between his lips and urs

-when ur lips touched slightly, he stared at u w/o saying anything

-Probably freaking out on the inside

-The rest wld tease Fujio who’s smiling sheepishly at the end of the game

-shy boi

Five times Taylor and Link almost kissed, and one time they finally did.

2. The second time, it was a challenge.

Link and Taylor had been eating out of the same box of pocky for a while, but then, they simultaneously came to a horrific realization.

"There's only one left, do you want it?" Link offers.

"Come on, that's no fun," Taylor elbows him. They're sitting beside each other at Link's kitchen table, and Link can see Taylor's legs swinging back and forth in excitement—or maybe just excese energy. "We should battle for it."

"Huh?"

Taylor pinches the middle of the pocky stick and holds it between them. The chocolate side is facing Link.

"I bite this side, and you bite that side."

"Why do I get the chocolate side?"

"I'm being courteous, since I'm gonna be way faster than you at eating this thing," Taylor teases.

"I guess we'll see…"

Link's face gets hot. "Wait, are we going to meet in the middle?"

"Well, the aim of the game is to eat as much as you can, so I hope not, 'cause that'd be boring."

Taylor really just wants to have fun eating this.

"O—okay."

"Ready?"

"Yeah."

Taylor sticks the chocolateless end of the pocky in his mouth and leans forward. His eyes are sparkling with excitement, and he's grinning like this is going to be the most fun game he's ever played.

"Come on," Taylor encourages him, and it's muffled by the stick in his mouth, which makes Link chuckle.

"Okay, okay."

Link holds the chocolate end between his teeth.

And then the game starts.

Taylor is chomping the pocky stick and inching closer and closer to Link's face, and when he gets really close, he closes his eyes.

Link freezes.

Lips that aren't his are hovering way too closely and making him feel shocks sent down his spine.

He bites down hard, and the piece of pocky snaps and falls into his mouth. He chews, and then he swallows it with one big gulp.

"Ah! You broke it," Taylor says, finishing off the pocky still sticking out of his mouth. "You hardly ate any! That was like, no different from you just giving me the whole stick."

It felt pretty different to Link.

"Ahh… Sorry—"

"It's fine. I won anyway," Taylor chuckles, and the sound reverberates through Link's skull like an enchanting melody.

"Yeah, you did."

And then Taylor pulls out another box from his backpack, holds it in front of Link and shakes it a little. The way Taylor gazes at him makes Link's breath catch. "You wanna try it again?"

It's at this time that Link is so grateful he doesn't visibly blush, because with the way his brain is short-circuiting from the way Taylor's hair frames his face and the light from the ceiling lamp reflects off his eyes. There's probably some overly dramatic and tropey way Taylor would describe the view.

He's always making references and painting things out to be as gorgeous and emotional and action-packed as his favourite shows.

It's really charming.

Taylor really knows who he is, and he's got no shame about it. He's loud, and silly, and passionate, and cute…

Taylor leans in closer. "Hmm?"

Now it's the thud of Link's heartbeat that's reverberating through his skull.

"Mm, you can have the rest."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

oh yeah i went to a uni open day and allergies decided to pummel me in a rather quiet room with over a hundred other people during a law course presentation when i had ONE tissue that had previously been a bookmark. i only sneezed four times but my right eye and nostril could NOT stop watering i gave in and used my sleeve and it got absolutely soaked in snot 😭😭
