They are coming a cross a new world and trying to finding their way home back in their world.

I recreated an old drawing from 2012 (on the left) as a birthday gift to the friend I did the original illustration for. Happy to see some progress, even though it’s not much ! [Image Description : Two separate illustrations of the same scene, one from 2012 and the other from 2023. Two Pokémon trainers are having a friendly double battle amongst the trees of Foretree City. The guy at the forefront, white with a redish beard, wearing a beret and a dark hoodie, is holding a Nest Ball and is using a Plusle and a Swellow that is holding him in the air. His friend, with a slightly darker skin tone and a more elegant attire, is using an Absol and an Azurill from a platform bellow. The composition in both drawings is similar but the art style is slightly more realistic in the 2023 version, with a more subdued color palette and slightly revised anatomical and positioning choices. The background is also noticeably more inspired by the Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire version of the city in the latest drawing.]

Jazper gets too carried away sometimes after a gym win according to Zap the Jolteon. Normally they'd just give her a few extra favorite berries to reward her since even a hug is grounds for electrocution. Lol. Atleast she's opened up to head pats as long as your slow and gentle.

So apparently the United Regions wants us to open up Almia to trainers, and since Isaac did almost exclusively independent studies to get his professor status and I went through the standard course, which is geared towards trainer-based regions, I get to handle that project entirely.

The simplest things were where to start, which is going to be my lab, and the starter Pokémon, which will be magby, budew, and spheal, since they’re the only three-tier evolutions in this region who aren’t already being used as starters in other regions, with the exception of horsea, who can’t go on land.

I told my family. Mom and Dad are proud of me for taking on such a big project, Ceri has concerns for the Pokémon around here being forced to battle, and Tory has officially decided to become a trainer the first chance she gets.
