Picked up Gale of Darkness again to try and clear it 100% and to send all the pokemon over to Emerald to eventually bring to Pokemon HOME, apparently last time I played I got side tracked and decided to evolve anyone that could evolve before entering Citadark Isle (aka endgame)
That meant when I picked it up I had a handful of pokemon left and went "why not finish what I started, i'm already at Mt. Battle for the EXP!"
I made it to Citadark and realized my mistake.....
Tumblr media
I am HORRIBLY overleveled and now cannot hit any shadow mons without the fear of knocking it out and having to hunt down the shadow pokemon after I beat the story later
My hubris is being mean to meeeeeeee

i was thinking about i am innogen again and i realized there are several ways to avoid needing the anomaly to destroy the typeless beastiam trait, most of which just involve certain dead characters talking to certain alive characters, but the most plausible option is of course the funniest
if yi and arcei got along just SLIGHTLY better arcei would’ve taken yi with her to search for the anomaly’s three artifacts, which means yi would’ve met kyla at some point
yi would recognize her from mother’s photos and her voice from the gramophone
kyla would learn there’s more than one innogen
leads to this
Tumblr media
the typeless trait is gone, jetlag and wish don’t have to die, no anomaly needed. conflict resolved any% wr
goddammit

The way you describe Charizard it seems to be the size of a dynamax so ash’s Charizard is basically a legendary up to this point. Meaning if he showed up during the Kalos final battle he would basically freak every out of this legendary Charizard helping them
I mean... k i n d a !?! If that makes any sense. Charizard isn’t exactly the size of a dynamaxed pokemon, but he is close.
Ash’s Charizard (Flicker!!!) is one out of the two Charizard Ash owns. The boy is also the trainer of Chaz, which is Charizard2 from the first Pokémon movie, which is 1.5x the size of Flicker.
But Flicker is about 3/4th the size of Lugi. So it’s a BIG Dragon boi. And with that comes small evolutions to its body. Like extra skin attached to the base of the wing to further down the body, it allows extra flight maneuver other flying Pokémon can’t achieve without mega evolutions and it also helps with keeping its big body coasting for longer.
Flicker also changes more into a realistic dragon from our world. A broader, more box kinda head and a long snout filled with fangs. He’s still Ashs babey though. And will be treated as such when Flicker allows it.
Flicker isn’t as chubby as he was before, a more defined muscles chest and slimmer stomach since most of his fire glands moved half way up to his chest area for faster flicker, ha, of flames.
Keener eyesight is a thing as well. Flicker is usually asked to scope out Professor Oaks farm during days and a few nights to see if hunters have broken in through the gates mostly in the back and east areas. So the fire/flying type can pick out tiny ass details all the way up high in the air.
But yeah, if Flicker did come to help Ash during the Kalos finals everyone would have freaked the fuck out. Going so far that they would have to pause the battle mid way to openly question Ash on what the fuck happened to his Charizard.
Both Ash and Charizard would be equally fucking offended.
Ash: i had Flicker when he was abandoned by his shit ass trainer when he was a Charmander! I did absolutely nothing to alter his genetics or body!
Flicker: *grumbls in agreement*
I like the thought that Lysandre would NOPE the fuck out of there. Because he’s not going after Ash if that boy has that beast by his side.
Or Ash doesn’t actually bring Flicker out into the pitch with him, but instead Flicker was watching from the Professor’s ranch. On a tiny TV set the man set out for them. And Flicker just takes off at the first sign of danger. Because fucking god dammit Ash! Stop being a bad guy magnet!!! Flicker would probably get there when Lysandre has Ash and his Kalos team tied up, and Ash just stops arguing with Lysander since he spotted his massive fucking savior flying at top speed at the tower.
Wishsnqn I JUST REALIZED!!! That Lugia would be able to easily wrap its wings around the tower, and that would make it possible for Flicker to do as well. So buff Fire lizard sinking its claws into the tower, it creaking threateningly that the building would break, and just hovering over everyone on the top.
Team Flare stood no chance against an angry giant Pokémon that breaths fire. Which is kinda ironic.
But also, GOD, can you imagine Flicker mega evolved??? Or DYNAMAXED!?!?!?

Pokemon, Switch Sell Gangbusters in Nintendo’s Latest Earning Reports
January 30, 2020 12:13 PM EST
The latest mainline Pokemon entries have combined to become the Switch’s sixth best-selling title in less than two months on the market.
Pokemon Sword and Shield finally met the demand for console entries into the series, and the market responded. Big time.
Nintendo’s nine-month earnings report, released Thursday, revealed that Sword and Shield have sold more than 16 million copies since their November release, becoming the latest highlight in what’s been an incredibly strong fiscal year for the company.
Also announced Thursday was that the Switch, as of December 31, has sold 52.48 million units all time, and that the rest of 2019’s Nintendo-published titles have been performing well.
Here’s the breakdown of Nintendo’s software sales through the third quarter of its 2020 fiscal year:
Title (Release Date) – Units Sold
Pokemon Sword/Shield  (Nov. 15, 2019) – 16.06 million
Luigi’s Mansion 3 (Oct. 31, 2019) – 5.37 million
Super Mario Maker 2 ( June 28, 2019) – 5.04 million
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (Sept. 20, 2019) – 4.19 million
Fire Emblem: Three Houses (July 26, 2019) – 2.58 million
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (Jan. 10, 2019) – 2.54 million (5.85 million lifetime)
Ring Fit Adventure (Oct. 18, 2019) – 2.17 million
Astral Chain (Aug. 30, 2019) – 1.03 million
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order (July 19, 2019) – 1.02 million
And for comparison, the Switch’s all-time software sales so far:
Title (Release Date) – Units Sold
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (April 27, 2017) – 22.96 million
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Dec. 7, 2018) – 17.68 million
Super Mario Odyssey (Oct. 27, 2017) – 16.59 million
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (March 3, 2017) – 16.34 million
Pokemon Sword/Shield (Nov. 15, 2019) – 16.06 million
Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu!/Let’s Go, Eevee! (Nov. 16, 2018) – 11.76 million
Splatoon 2 (July 21, 2017) – 9.81 million
Super Mario Party (Oct. 5, 2018) – 9.12 million
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (Jan. 10, 2019) – 5.85 million
Lugi’s Mansion 3 (Oct. 31, 2019) – 5.37 million
The Switch — now Nintendo’s sixth best-selling game system after it surpassed the SNES’ lifetime sales of 49.10 million units — likely would have kept going strong in global sales no matter what. But the release of the Switch Lite in September and a launch in China in December certainly helped keep the momentum going, with Nintendo stating that hardware sales have reached 17.74 million units for the fiscal year so far (a 22.5-percent increase from 2019).
Things have been going well enough that Nintendo raised its sales projection for the Switch from 18 million to 19.5 million before the fiscal year closes out, but even so, the console-handheld hybrid looks on track to pass that number. Nintendo’s 2020 fiscal year ends on March 31.
Nintendo raised its FY Switch sales forecast to 19.5 million from 18 million. But analysts say the new number would still be low. Morningstar says more than 20 million is for sure. pic.twitter.com/OJFHMw72cc
— Takashi Mochizuki (@mochi_wsj) January 30, 2020
Software sales for the year, meanwhile, have reached 123.13 million units, a 30.1-percent increase from 2019. Despite the National Dex controversy and heavy criticism toward developer Game Freak for its handling of the series’ transition to the Switch, Pokemon Sword and Shield still managed to strike a chord with its audience, becoming the Switch’s sixth best-selling game in less than two months on the market.
Also impressive is that Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Super Mario Maker 2 both cleared five million copies sold, while second-party titles Astral Chain (Platinum Games) and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 (Team Ninja) both cleared the million units-sold mark. Ring Fit Adventure reaching over two million in sales is interesting as well, showing that Nintendo might just be on to something with its latest go at creating fitness-based games.
Additionally, Fire Emblem: Three Houses was on track to become the series’ new top seller, and could very well earn that title with the help of story DLC releasing in a couple of weeks (if it hasn’t already that is).
Other things of note from the earning’s report:
3DS sales have totaled 620,000 units for the year so far (down 73-percent from 2019), and software sales are at 4.10 million units (down 63-percent from 2019).
Digital sales increased 48.3 percent from last year.
The 2020 launch schedule includes Metroid Prime 4, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Platinum Games’ Bayonetta 3. However, all three games’ release dates are listed as “TBA.”
