Okami art that isn’t just straight fanart yippee!

Yami my favorite silky guy. An okamiden(technically) au where Yami is reincarnated as a poncle after its defeat to Amaterasu, it only retains a very small amount of power in this form. It is forced to join Chibiterasu as Sakuya thinks that it may help it be nicer or somethin. It works but Yami won’t admit that to anyone. It calls Chibi “dwarf star” as a nickname and refuses to help him out, mostly using him as just a way to get around without having to actually walk.

It’s very silly and I love it very much (I mess up it’s pronouns a lot when talking about it so it’s pronouns are more it/he at this point but whatever)

Komachi is a moon tribe oc that came out of pure hyperfixation ngl. She’s an inventor and is the person to make the arc of Yamato, working with Yami to make it a “perfect gift” she thinks Yami is a god at first, but when she finds out it’s not, she doesn’t care. Low key kinda evil ngl? I haven’t had her in my head for too long so that plus my limited knowledge of moon tribe lore results in this spotty personality/lore

She’s technically part of the poncle yami au as well :)

You may have noticed I’ve been posting Okami art a lot recently. It’s mostly because I’ve decided to give in to my brain and be as silly as I want, I may be cringe but I am free is the mindset I’ve taken and it’s probably the best decision ngl.

This is especially true with the aus/ocs I’ve made, cause before I honestly didn’t think I could come up with something to fit with okami without ruining it. But I’ve decided to ignore that for just the fact that it’s fun making things like this :)

I’m probably going to become annoying I’m sure because of this but it’s my lifelong fixation so it’s just inevitable.

I think it's the Peter Pan book, I could be mixing it up with a different book, but I'm pretty sure; Tinker Bell is having an orgy with a bunch of other fairies when they find Peter as a baby. Again, I could be mixing it up with another book, but that is very much a thing that happens in a published novel.

"Fae have boisterous emotions and tend to be very horny" is not new, sweetie. "The smaller a Fae, the more explosive the feelings" isn't even exclusive to Peter Pan. I've seen that in a lot of Fae lore.

Rie was so fun to design ngl. I tried to get a mix of her real form and her fake god form from her boss fight and I think I made it work.

Yōko is a poncle oc, really got attached to these little guys after designing Yami’s poncle form. Her hair is dyed with blueberries. She’s entirely based off of Ground Beetles :)

My 10 Favorite Games of 2022 Part 1 (#10-6)

10.Wordle [PC/Mobile]

A simple, and devastatingly effective, piece of design. Damn near anyone can play and anyone can get it. Wordle is the pinnacle of game as watercooler. A brilliant little brain tickler that really only asks for about 20 minutes of your day at a time.

9. Vampire Survivors [Xbox/PC]

Vampire Suvivors is a deceitful dollop of dopamine. What starts as a borderline idle game becomes a demon-hunting, castlevnia-like by way of pacaman scrambling out of the proverbial pocket like a gothic quarterback. VS's depth is astounding, and it's screenfilling domination is absolute hijacking of the pleasure center.

8. Immortality [Xbox/PC]

Immortality is a fascinating expirement in narrative. An FMV game that directly distills the essence of film and game. The story of Marissa Marcel is a weird, wild and unhinged excercise in creativity.

7. Marvel Midnight Suns [Xbox/PC/Playstation]

The creators of X-Com: Enemy Unknown have spun out the most creative Marvel games to date. It's a bizarre stew; 1 part deckbuilder, 1 part turn-based strategy, 1 part Persona, 1 part marvel reality show. The result is a mechanically brilliant and wonderfully goofy game, that calls to a time before the MCU.

6.Citizen Sleeper [Xbox/PC/Switch]

This narrative, space, tabletop-lite RPG is strikingly human. Citizen Sleeper is deeply and reverently empathetic. It's story of disability, disenfranchisement, survival and community is among the most touching pieces of fiction in all of 2022.
