Thank you to the awesome @simonxriley for tagging me, I'm so sorry I haven't done it sooner. I get overwhelmed and also forget lol.

I feel terrible because anytime I'm tagged for one of these I'm always working on smut lmao. I do have a few non smutty things I was working on, so I'll have to dig through those.

The Last of Us AU (I'll come up with a better title later)

Peri’s father’s alarm blaring from the other room startles her awake, eyes blinking out the sun shining through her purple curtains. Pushing herself into a sitting position, she slips on her slippers. She stands with a sigh, trotting out her door and down the hall to her father’s, banging on his door. “Alarm!” She shouts, hitting a few more times. “Dad! Alarm!” She shouts louder, hoping she woke him up without upsetting him too much. She hears her brothers rustling around in their rooms, chuckling to herself when she hears one of them trip and fall. Without checking on them, she jogs down the stairs. Making her way into the kitchen, she washes her hands before grabbing the supplies she’ll need. Before long she has a few pans of scrambled eggs going, tossing in different herbs to add a bit more flavor to their bland texture. Bacon sizzles on the back burners, orange juice already poured into glasses and waiting for her family on the table. “Mornin’ Pear.” Hector, her older brother by three years, kisses her cheek, wrapping his arms around her from the side in a quick hug. Grabbing some plates from the cupboard, he helps her fill each plate with their food, setting them in their spots as Julien and their father finally come down the stairs. “Took you old men long enough.” She teases, giggling at her father’s playful glare. “I need my beauty sleep.” He grumbles, the wrinkles around his eyes much more defined in the morning light filtering through their kitchen blinds. He grunts when Julien accidentally bumps into him, her younger twin still half asleep apparently. “Watch out kiddo, your pop needs his coffee.” He takes the cup Hector hands him, thanking him as his son goes to get his own cup. “Hey, you forgot the pancake mix yesterday.” She smiles, turning to face her father only to frown. She grabs his orange juice from his spot to hold out to him expectantly, giving his coffee cup a dirty look. “And you need your vitamin C mister. It’s good for you and won’t give you headaches.” She tilts her head, a small smirk playing on her lips, her eyes unwavering in their demand. She knows her father can’t say no, he can never say no to her big brown eyes. Her father offers his own stern look, only to sigh, grumbling to himself as he sets his coffee down for the OJ, face scrunching up at the first sip. “This is disgusting.” “Shush, it makes your body happy.” She joins her brother’s at the table, saying a small prayer before digging in. “Is uncle Eli joining us? Peri made more than enough.” Some stray eggs fall from Hector’s lips as he speaks, her brother’s lengthening hair cascading around his face and neck. He reminds her of those Hollywood actors from their dads older movies. “Ew!” Julien shrieks, batting at his arms. “You’re an animal!” He cries, resorting to his napkin for assistance, scrubbing his arms violently. Hector laughs, throwing his head back, mouth still full of food and Peri wonders how he hasn’t choked. “Chew your damn food, Hector.” Their dad plops down in his own chair, sighing heavily. “Yeah, Eli should be here soon. He and I have a lot of work to do today.” A frown almost immediately dampens Peri’s face, her sad doe eyes searching her father’s. “Don’t tell me you have to work all day, it’s your birthday!” She huffs, frustrated at the look her father gives her. It’s not fair, you were supposed to have it off!

So for Starters, OG! Vyr would host them all!! Isran Very Generously allows them to have their party in Fort Dawnguard, if only because he knows they'd all be down to fuck up some vampires on short notice (ESPECIALLY Vampire! Vyrthaal. He deserves to.)

Who's shoving cake in people's faces?

Boethiah! Vyr is Definitely trying to at least wipe icing all over everyone. They get an unsuspecting Jay, who's probably trying to cut the cakes so everyone gets even slices, and she promptly grabs hers n smushes it in their face. Namira! and Sheo! Vyrthaals both think this is an invitation to Go Crazy Go Stupid n smushes their slices on whoever is unfortunate enough to be next to them (probably random members of the Dawnguard who came to hang out with the Birthday Kids). Mephala! Vyr is laughing her ass off until Boethiah! Vyrthal Also gets cake on her face :3 Sanguine! Vyr probably shoves some cake in Dagon! Vyr's face but like. Theyd be best friends and both would think it's hilarious. Vaermina! and Nocturnal! Vyrthaal specifically target Azura! and Meridia! Vyr, bc no one else has >:3

Who gets the piñata to fall?

Dagon! Vyr!!!! So far everyone who's gone before him has either missed horribly, or wasn't able to, and They Want Candy, Dammit!! So he decides fuck it, grabs the stick, and Destroys It. The Vyrthaals are screaming with delight. Chaos reigns.

Who switches the candy out for something else?

LISTEN. I know Serana isn't an OC but she would ABSOLUTELY want to prank her siblings (YES they all adopt her and she adopts them. Even Vampire! Vyrthaal, bc This Serana cured her vampirism ASAP). She replaces all the candy with confetti and like, probably gets Vile! Vyrthaal to help. Mmmmmmaybe Mephala! Vyrthaal too, so she puts a hunch of little plastic insects in it. Vile! Vyr probably puts in little smoke bombs or something similar that pop when they hit the ground. The other Vyrthaals love it (and Serana of course still kept the candy and brings it out for them all). They each keep some of Mephala! Vyr's little insects :')

Who's stuck with cake cutting and handing out?

Jay of course! She willingly volunteers for it so she can make sure everyone gets the exact same amount of cake. She also probably decorated them, with Pery!, Meridia!, and Azura! Vyrthaals' help (they all know that they need like, twenty cakes). Pery! Vyr would offer to help but she Insists on doing it.

(Attic) How about Laslow being a taste tester for some of the army's chefs? (Charlotte, Peri, Selena, Baria lol) Not that any know he's helping the others

this one is a long one, so putting it under the cut. 

Laslow groaned, his stomach was gurgling something fierce. Wandering the castle, he felt he might just keel over from hunger. It had been a few days of Xander giving the army a tighter regime on their diets, and well, Laslow wasn’t taking it too well. 

To be taking in less calories- and elss sweets, it was a whole other thing to adjust to. He sighed heavily, missing the sweet taste of chocolate cake, the savoury juice of a rare steak, the salty texture of garlic bread. Just the thought was making his mouth water. 

Then, he could smell something come from the kitchen. Of course, he couldn’t help but peek in a little. What he saw was a frusterated Charlotte, she had her hands on her generous hips as she looked at her cupcakes. No doubt, she made them for Corrin. More reason to sucker up to them. 

“Miss Charlotte?” Laslow announced his enterance, “My, what have you here? it smells absolutely darling.” He remarked, coming in behind her. 

Charlotte jumped slightly, then looked to laslow with a sugar sweet look. ‘Why Laslow! Just the person I was looking for- here.” her movements were abrupt and stilted, probably because she was rather huffy. 

Laslow looked at the cupcake shoved into his face, “Can you please try it? I can’t tell what’s wrong with it- is there anything wrong with it?” She asked. 

Laslow eyed the confectionary, then took it. A taste tester eh? Well, he wasn’t complaining, free food was free food. 

Rather happily, Laslow took a bite of the cupcake. He sighed contently to finally have food in his system, the sugar tingled at his tounge and the flavour of the strawberry icing exploded in his mouth. 

“Mm, it tastes good but could be a bit more moist.” Laslow suggested as he finished the treat. “The icing is rather sweet as well, blocks out the flavour of the cake. “ 

Charlotte thought, “that’s exactly what I was thinking... Thank you Laslow!” she smiled, pecking his cheek and causing him to blush. “Hey~ Can you maybe stay and continue taste testing for me?” She asked winking. 

“I-It would be my pleasure!” Laslow said happily.

The next time Laslow found himself in the kitchen, it was because of Peri.

She had dragged him there because Peri wanted to make a feast for Lord Xander, being the sugar sweet retainer she was. This left Laslow as the taste tester, since she claimed “Laslow understands Lord Xander more than I!” He didn’t argue, Peri’s baking was phenominal. 

the problem came, with how stuffed he was. 

She made him try at least 3 different cakes, 5 diffferent pies, and 4 different custards. Now his stomach ached, full of sugar, and pushing against his belt. Laslow groaned as he saw peri bring him yet another dessert, this time creme puffs. 

“This one next Lazzy!” She giggled, placing it on his lips. 

Laslow tried to not whine as he ate it, “Just perfect...” he managed, his stomach growled in pain. He tried to rub the dome like surface in order to calm it. 

Peri hummed, “Well, if you say so!” She said happily before going back to baking. 

Laslow sighed, after what Charlotte did to him last week, he might have to look into getting bigger trousers...

“Just try it!” 

“You’re sure you haven’t poisioned it? Added anything that could make me feel like dying?” 

“What- No! Gods you’re idiotic! Just try it PLEASE!” 

Laslow sighed, though felt a bit triumphant that he got Selena of all people to beg. He smiled a bit as he took the piece of chocolate and popped it into his mouth. 

“Mm... very cocoa-y... What does Lady Camilla like? If she doesn’t like sweet than it’s good.” Laslow remarked, he crossed hs arms ove rhis much softer chest. Laslow was thankful his mercenary outfit was rather baggy... though one could definitely tell he had a belly forming. 

“She likes sweet... Dammit i thought I had it this time.” Selena huffed, going back to the drawing board. “take the rest of the chocolates, give them to your boyfriend or something.” 

Laslow blushed, ‘I-I don’t have a boyfriend,”

“Sorry, are they a girl? I’ve never talked to them I can’t honestly tell.” 

Laslow blinked a few times. Rather dumbly as he was trying to register just what she meant by ‘boyfriend’ or girl? He was sure he didn’t hang around anyone but Owain and Xander He frowned a bit, but took the chocolates none the less. They were rather good after all.

The hour was late, Laslow was placed on nightly duty. Mainly because Xander deemed it as punishment for his skirt chasing, as well as the weight he had gained. It was really showing now, the way his muffin top spilled over his belt and how his pants squeezed his thicker thighs. 

Laslow really couldn’t help it. Most of the chefs in the castle saw him as the best source for taste testing. He wasn’t srue why, but he never argued. Laslow loved sweets, and getting to see such lovely ladies happy was always a treat for him. 

As Laslow made his rounds, he frowned as he noticed a light was on in the kitchen. Who was up at such an hour? 

He rounded the corner, hand resting on his hilt just in case. What he saw was Baria, a rather new recruit to the Norhian army. But it seemed he was percariously perched on a chair, trying to get the caramel on the top shelf. 

Laslow cleared his throat, much like a cat, Baria jumped and toppled over from the chair. Laslow couldn’t help but chuckle a little before approaching. 

“Baria, what are you doing at such an hour?” He inquired. 

A groan came in response, Laslow came to Baria flat on his back. Looking up at Laslow from the floor, “Just... Some late night baking.” He sighed, Laslow wondered what made Baria always get such a far off look when talking to him. 

“Baking? Why couldn’t you have done it earlier in the day?”

“Because then it wouldn’t be a surprise.”

Baria got back on his feet quickly, looking up at Laslow still from his rather short stature. He brushed himself off and smile. “though, the surprise is rather ruined now, isn’t it?” 

Laslow blinked, ‘Surprise?” 

“I was baking you ginger snaps.” 

Laslow was rather surprised by this, he and Baria were rather close. But he didn’t realize the man would make cookies for him. it was rather thoughtful, and he appreciated it immmensly. 

“Oh... Well, thank you... Why would you make me ginger snaps?” 

Baria blushed, Laslow frowned. “Just thought you’d like them.” He said warmly, going back to his baking. 

Laslow wasn’t sure what he meant by this, but he knew that he should try and keep the other company because of it.

Holy fuck.. the emotional roller coaster I just fucking went on. I'd have to write an essay to get it all out of my system. I screamed so much and the ending literally made me cry. if i didn’t know we had the movie and more seasons coming i’d think that could’ve constituted for the series finale. I was staying off my phone the whole episode so I wouldn't be distracted so here's my thoughts.

Beginning: 

the flashback with rose and pink omg!! The little rainbow worms were adorable. And I lost it when blue said that white would take pinks pearl away. THATS why she lost her original pearl. She misbehaved.

I was seriously not expecting blue and yellow to fight each other but I was rly happy they made up. Also I wasn't expecting whites ship to open its eyes THAT was creepy but the way the head looked at the gems when they spoke was rly funny. I was floored when she controlled blue and yellow like that.

Also EVERYONE'S NEW CLOTHES ARE AMAZING!! I cant even begin to describe how much I love them. I was a bit let down that peridot didn't have star shaped hair but at least she's still our dorito lol. seriously everyone’s new clothes are so cute, they look more human in them as well! lapis is wearing pants and shoes.. pearls jacket.. garnet and peri’s visors.. amethyst’s shorts! GHAHFDASUFH!!! i wonder what ruby and sapphire look like!

AND ALL THE FUSIONS!! SMOKEY AND RAINBOW QUARTZ AND SUNSTONE AND OBSIDIAN?!?! maybe obsidian is the thing Rebecca said she wanted to show in the 10th ep? HMM! 

i love how sunstone is like a retro kid’s PSA character they’re so cool

also garnet got to keep her wedding rings! i was seriously worried she lost them after yellow poofed her

peridot flying around on a trashcan 10/10

middle: 

i seriously lost it when white pulled out steven’s gem. literally. during the commercial break i was literally on the floor losing my shit bc i started wondering “what if rose just chose to stay in there? the gem popped out so easily. what if she just comes right out?” 

the next scene proved the point that was made in “3 gems and a baby” where they said that steven was a fusion between rose and greg since he literally fused with his gem. 

the part where steven’s gemself screamed “SHE’S GONE!” was SO hardcore omfg

it was super creepy to see white controlling everyone like marionettes. watching everyone get brainwashed by her made me realize that it was possible for us to see “white” pearl normal again. 

steven making everyone blush was rly cute and i was SO HAPPY TO SEE WHITE PEARL TURNED BACK TO NORMAL!!!!! 

end: 

i was hoping lars and the off colors would make an appearance but figured they weren’t going to but then they arrived at the best time lol. rhodonite’s “no more diamonds!” and then the diamonds all looked Right At Her was fantastic

i seriously cried when it played “we are the crystal gems” and all the corrupted gems were turned back to normal. all the new designs are so adorable, like the little heaven/earth beetles and biggs jasper and the nephrites

it was adorable how centipeetle recognized steven when he swam over to her

AND OUR JASPER!!!! her new design is absolutely beautiful shes so adorable!!! she looks like lum from urusei yatsura with her horns omg and it was sweet how amethyst came over to talk to her

yellow making the diamond ship do a peace sign before flying off was great

and the ending shot that was just like the opening... beautiful. 

i don’t know where the series would go from here. what’s the movie even gonna be ABOUT? is it gonna be rebuilding homeworld? what’s gonna happen with all the new uncorrupted gems? what’s the antagonist going to do? 

and my biggest problem with the episode... WHAT ABOUT JADE?! what happened to her?! where’d she go? is she ok? i wanna know what happened to her!!!

Rules: Provide the story of how you named your OCs.

I’ll try my best, but chances are I don’t remember most of the names. I’ll use the names of OCs that somewhat have a story to them, and since I have a cast of over 50+ OCs, I’m only doing five.

Snowella Garcia: So Snowella was the very first character I created back in 2nd grade when I first started writing, and that was the very first name I remember choosing because it sounded so nice and pretty. Over the course of almost 10 years, her name remains the same, and Garcia is her last name because when I was creating her I thought it fit perfectly with her first name. For a little while though, I did panic bc I thought people would assume she’s Mexican/Latina due to her last name (not like there’s anything wrong with that though).

Maywing Perdonlin: Okay I really LOVE how I thought of her name. It was a year and three months ago; I was doing some advanced story planing involving the ninth book in my series and in that book, there’s a Fighting Festival that takes place. There’s 48 competitors in that Festival so I’d say for about a week I was thinking of names for about 36 of those competitors (as well as their character traits, etc). When I was thinking of Maywing, I was just putting things together. I already have a character named Phoenix, who is her cousin, so i was just thinking along those lines, bc a phoenix is a bird. So I thought bird, and I started thinking about bird wings...then I realized May was the following month (bc this was in April last year) and BOOM! I was like “HER NAME IS MAYWING”. And as for her last name....it originally would have been something else, but I forgot what the original last name was so Perdonlin it is lol. I think I like this one better anyway.

King Lucian [of Enchancia]: There’s no big story to this one except for the fact that originally, the name of the king of my fantasy kingdom was King Bob. However, after my brother and mother were talking about how plain it sounded for a king, I realized they were fucking right. King Bob? We need something a little more sophisticated than that. The first name that popped into my head was “Lucian”, and I fell in love with it immediately bc it’s so nice and almost sexy sounding and seems like a powerful name. And thus, Bob was turned into Lucian!

Peri Daila: This one is nothing much either. I named Peri based off her appearance. She’s a petite and sweet young lady with azure pigtails and a halo around her head. It just seemed like Peri had to be her name, you know? Her last name was something I just thought of on the spur of the moment and stuck with, because once you think of a name it sticks with you.

Ira Drell: i think this is my favorite story of how I named an OC. My little brother’s name is Ari, and one day we were just chilling playing video games and he was all, “You know my name backwards is Ira (pronounced first Eye-ruh) or Ira (pronounced second Ee-ruh). I think I like Ira (Ee-ruh) better though.” And I thought BOI YOU MIGHT HAVE JUST CREATED A CHARACTER FOR ME?? So i played around with both pronounciations and settled on Ira (Eye-ruh) and her last name came later without much thought. But the story of her first name... I will always credit and thank my little brother for that, because that first name paved the way for her character, her abilities, and the creation of her twin sister, Evangeline.

So it has been awhile since I have posted in here! but I’mmmm baaaaack. 

Here to give you all of the super exciting updates on my life, pregnancy, and all things Sarah. 

Well to start off I am a little over 26 weeks pregnant now! ~ due on Christmas <3 We are super excited to welcome Cason Joshua Nicholas Booker into this world. This pregnancy has been SO AMAZING. I have not felt overly hungry, nauseas, or gross as I did with the first one. The kicks are so sweet and the only things that hurt are my hips and groin - but in a normal “your body is stretching” sort of way not a “I can’t deal with this” sort of way. 

The only woes I have had to deal with in this pregnancy so far have been Familial Hemiplegic Migraines and Vertigo (that was caused by an inner ear infection) Luckily both - even though they sucked super bad - have still not measured up to how miserable I was when I was pregnant with sweet Dallas Jaymes. <3 

We recently abandoned apartment living and joined the military housing community! We finally have a spacious house with a community of neighbors... and the best part? WE ARE LITERALLY RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE SPLASH PAD AND PLAYGROUND. Today we just walked out in our backyard and let Dallas run wild out there (with us following close behind lol) while he enjoyed the water of the splash pad! This place is seriously the greatest blessing to us so far and I am thankful for it.

I also have developed an obsession with Big Brother. I mean really, it is gross how much I like this show. I make Josh watch it with me throughout the week and eat it all up, I just love this season! I am team Tyler but it looks like Kaycee is going to win, which I am okay with that too. 

I try to talk about all of these things at work but you know how the other person kind of stops responding and just awkwardly nods while you speak and you feel like you’re annoying them...that’s been how i have been feeling lately? I feel like every conversation is super awkward, but this may be a little bit of peri-partum anxiety, which I struggled with through my last pregnancy and continued after the pregnancy. Hopefully it does not come back as bad as it was back then! That was miserable and the only thing that would work - believe it or not - to relieve the anxiety was the power stance and stretching!

I am super curious about what I might be doing after my time in OGV is over, it seems that I could be moving up like my friend Carson did and taking her spot since she has orders, but that is a long shot and it could also be true that I end up back on flight here soon working days, nights, swings yet again. This baby pops out in December so they have until then to figure it all out I suppose! 

I guess that is all the babbling I will do for tonight

I haven’t put anything new on my phone in weeks so whatever comes up is hopefully things I actually listen to lmao, I barely ever leave this on shuffle so let’s see what I’ve got 1) <b>That Would Be Enough - Hamilton soundtrack</b> mmmmm I still like this musical after all this time, I might not listen to every song but there were some good ones dammit 2) <b>Snow Angels - Anamanaguchi</b> I really like Anamanaguchi’s style of music, 8 bit alongside regular instrumentals and all the songs sound pretty upbeat so that’s nice too 3) <b>Lone Digger - Caravan Palace</b> man I’m not too sure about the video but god do I love electroswing 4) <b>Obedear - Purity Ring</b> I haven’t listened to this in a while but it’s got the same feel as the rest of their songs? idk, they all have a vaguely sad feel to them (I feel like Fineshrine is the song that most ppl would know them by but I could be wrong) 5) <b>Sonnet - Chipzel</b> yeah more 8 bit/chiptune but that’s a lot more versatile than you’d think, this is one of my favorite songs actually 6) <b>In This Serenity - Xenosaga the animation ost</b> so years ago i went to Orlando with a friend (we had to have still been in middle school) and she wanted to kill time by finding a random, obscure 12 episode anime and we watched one called Xenosaga (which is apparently a video game) and that was the ending theme, it's very gentle and lovely and sometimes I think about how ridiculously low the chances of me finding this song were and I treasure it 7) <b>Marble Soda - Shawn Wasabi</b> I love these kinds of song mashups 8) <b>Grave Throbbing - Crypt of the Necrodancer ost</b> I've never played this game (it's partially a rhythm game, I feel like I could do well) but it's got a real good soundtrack, plus it was done by Danny B who did the original binding of isaac soundtrack and wow. man's got quite the range with music 9) <b>It's Quiet Uptown - Hamilton soundtrack</b> oh hey that's not okay, let's just put this aside, 10) <b>Ghost - Blue Foundation</b> it feels sad, good for those depressive episodes👌 it's good but tbh Eyes on Fire is my favorite by them 11) <b>Fungal Funk - Crypt of the Necrodancer ost</b> this one's good too 12) <b>Table Song - Katie Kuffel</b> I think I first heard this on night vale? I'm honestly a little surprised there wasn't more generic pop music but eh, it is what it is.
