Which Homestuck characters would read Homestuck and their opinion

idk i’m bored. What’s Homestuck^2? What’s epilogues? We’re strictly Homestuck in this house. Also only doing main characters, I’m not going to dive into the Felt or caparacians, I want this to be done today.

Beta kids:

June: Avid reader. Got in early and read the whole thing. Got shirts, unironically liked it.

Rose: Got in late, but got into it. Loved the tarot deck, uses it to pretend she’s reading while she just tells people their truths. Noticed some narrative issues but overall liked it.

Dave: Got in shortly after June did, read for a while, but his irony poisoning led to him sassing the HECK out of it. Made a diss blog. Kept reading it “ironically” and cannot tell if he actually likes it or not. Got a god tier hoodie he wears at home. Sampled some of the soundtracks for his raps.

Jade: Loved it. LOVED IT. Got the full soundtrack. Made remixes. Got all the shirts. One of the blogs that posted “UPD8!” whenever an update happened. Big fanartist during the Gigapauses.

Beta Guardians:

June’s Dad: Tried to get into it to connect to his daughter’s interest, but the memes were too much, so he became the “Are ya winning, daughter?” dad. Very supportive but would need fifty slow paced “Homestuck explained” videos.

Mom Lalonde: Read it, but was too intoxicated to remember most. She holds obscure knowledge and will remember minute trivia, but don’t ask her about any of the large plot points.

Bro Strider: Too busy being A Mess Of A Human Being to sit down and read.

Poppop Harley: Too busy being A Dang Explorer to sit down and read.

Jane: Takes time to read it slowly. Has a blog of theories she constantly updates. Was upset about how some plot points got dropped and underdeveloped.

Roxy: Much like Jade, loved it. While Jade made remixes, Roxy cosplays. She has killer cosplays of most characters. Screamed about updates on twitter. No filter, accidentally drops spoilers left right and center.

Dirk: Deep, DEEP character examinations. Draws diagrams, writes essays. Unironically liked the potential of Paradox Space, may have even submit his own stories to be a guest artist.

Jake: Read the whole thing, liked it, missed many connections and plot points, was satisfied with the ending. Got some merch, can say “I read Homestuck” in public and be blissfully unaware of any positive and negative baggage that comes with saying so.

Alpha Guardians:

Jane’s Dad: Much like June’s Dad, tried to get into it. Unlike June’s Dad, watched and read his daughter’s theories (and Dirk’s explanations when Jane linked them to him) and became A Walking Homestuck Encyclopedia. Jane is unsure how to feel about this. He, however, does not reference it.

Roxy’s Rosemom: Too busy fighting the good fight to read. It’s in her radar but didn’t get the time to read it.

Dirk’s Davedad: Read it as a novelty. Sent Hussie a gold-plated Bad Dragon dildo. Put offhand references to it on his movies, but they were so oblique that even readers didn’t get it.

Jade English: Too busy running her own baking good company to read Homestuck. Not even in her radar.

Alternia Trolls:

Aradia: Much like Dirk, got REAL DEEP into it. Makes youtube vids explaining classpects and narrative points. Actually wrote a dissertation on Homestuck.

Tavros: Tried to get into it, but the first few acts were not to his taste so he never got to the trolls ironically enough. Likes the character designs though.

Sollux: Next level Dave. Critiques the FUQUE out of it on every platform he can. If Hatedom is a thing, he made it. He’s the founder. It’s him. But he read it to the end.

Karkat: Read it, loves it, does some interesting character relationship examinations. Predicted who would end up with who with 100% accuracy. Wasn’t a vocal fan, didn’t get merch, but still liked it.

Nepeta: The shipper who launched a thousand ships. She writes crackfic but with deep care, making sure it makes sense that characters would end up together. Got one of every homestuck shirt. Very into it.

Kanaya: Got into it only because her friends got into it. If Karkat hadn’t talked about it she would not have gotten into it but she did because she wants to be able to carry a conversation with her friends. Not a huge fan.

Terezi: She can and WILL correct you if you get trivia wrong. She did not sit through hours of text-to-speech pesterlogs for some scrub to get it wrong. Defiant Homestuck defender. She’ll cut you if you say you don’t like Homestuck (she won’t, but she’s judging you from the other side of the room)

Vriska: Skipped the first acts and jumped right into Alternia. Little context, little care. Pretends she didn’t, gets facts hilariously wrong which Terezi takes as an invitation to tease her. Fanartist.

Equius: Another fanartist. He made physical media as opposed to drawings. Slow reader, got into it late and didn’t finish until way after the comic had ended. Did not get to experience the comic without Random Paradox Arms all over the place. Loved by the community for his short reaction posts about what happened at the point he’s at.

Gamzee: Either first person to post “Update” when comic updated, or doesn’t read for months and then catches up in two days. Skips many chat logs, but still gets most of the plot no problem. Remembers exact phrasing of the posts he does read though.

Eridan: Another Character Analysis blogger. He dives into (pun unintended) why some characters are The Absolute Worst and writes fanfic of how they would be if they had a chance to be in a different circumstances. The Problematique fan, but only because people assume the worst of him. He’s actually pretty chill.

Feferi: Superfan, and Super Content Creator. Started making plushies and charms and eventually started selling them. Her stuff became a badge of honor and people posted themselves hugging their plushies during the gigapause.

Ancestors:

Too busy caught up in their personal turmoils to read any of it. Except the Condesce. She sent Hussie a diamond-studded Bad Dragon dildo.

Beforus trolls:

Damara: Big fan, but doesn’t express it because of the crowd she’s with. But she has a blog where she tries to get in touch with new readers and is always open to answer questions others might have. Not a Big Name fan, but she’s much more vocal online than in person, and even then it’s through an alt account.

Rufioh: Got people into it, but he himself didn’t finish reading after the Scratch. Said he would but he just never got to doing so.

Mituna: Prone to ranting when updates happened. Very emotionally invested, nearly died when Game Over happened.

Kankri: The nitpicker to end all nitpicks. He critiqued everything, and hated that there were hero mode, simplified and silly drawings. Genuinely disliked all characters for faults that he himself has, yet never self-examined. Got a following that  consisted three-quarters of people who made fun of his rants and one-quarter of people who were as intense as he is.

Meulin: Big, BIG fan. Prolific fanfic writer, if a character pairing exists, rarepair or not, she wrote a fic about them. Likes all characters and as such thinks she must devote roughly the same wordcount for everyone she can. Disappears for months then reemerges with twenty new fics.

Porrim: Moderate fan, great cosplayer. The more complex the outfit, the more she wanted to make it. Routinely goes out in Jade’s Dead Shuffle and Three in the Morning dresses because she is incredibly proud of them.

Latula: Not a big fan. Knows most of what she knows through cultural osmosis because her friends got into it, but she’s not likely to ever read it herself. Likes how into it her friends are though.

Aranea: Much like Jane’s Dad, she’s the walking encyclopedia, except she memorized the content of almost every page, and if she doubts her knowledge, will immediately go to her computer and look up what she is unsure of. Tries not to talk people’s ears off and will only talk about Homestuck when asked about it.

Horuss: Super into it. To a maybe creepy degree. Doesn’t show in public but if you get access to his secret blogs it’s more like character shrines. Don’t dig too deep into it.

Kurloz: Read it, kinda into it, but not that big of a fan. He will talk about it but he’s pretty lukewarm about the whole thing.

Cronus: Read it to impress a crush, got genuinely into it, but isn’t a vocal fan.

Meenah: Didn’t read it, much like Latula learned about it because everyone around her talked about it. Unlike Latula, she mocks everyone for liking something she says is “for nerds”. Still kinda wants to read it to be part of the conversation but her pride of Not Knowing About Homestuck is too great to overcome that hurdle.

I’m glad you’re enjoying it so far, it really does mean a lot to me when someone tells me this since I’ve been very nervous about posting logs where they speak actually. QuQ This started getting long, so I hope you’re good with that~

So question 1: Who I’ve had the most fun developing.

This is actually a super hard to answer because as I fleshed everyone out, I’ve absolutely been loving all of them.  I want to have everyone doing something while playing the game so I have moving parts to switch between.  They all had their subplots and drama going on that ended up tearing them apart.  But one of the most fun parts, tbh, is how much it took me away from a lot of popular fanon I’ve realized. XD;; But one of the wildest things is how the Epilogues, though I’m not exactly the biggest fan of them, actually *strengthened* my connections to the source material.

(one such thing being a post-scarcity economy achieved via alchemy equipment which I decided on before the Epilogues but never said anything so literally no proof of my shitty oracle status)

I don’t want to leave the answer at “all of them” with no explanation though, so I’ll go with fav thing I’ve got for each of them (which will also be extended in the ship question)

Meenah: Just how isolated she was from everyone else being sequestered in a palace without anyone but Feferi.

Damara: Being the happy sweet girl she was

Rufioh: Who he was before his shitty relationship decisions and how he ended up there.

Mituna: The absolute dumpster fire of a /b/tard he is

Kankri: The evolution of how exactly he went about his armchair activism is fun.  There’s more than one way to get there and there’s more than one way to go about it and how he literally goes through all the worst ways.

Meulin: Her friendfic and how she takes requests

Porrim: Duty vs personal values vs personal biases

Latula: Trying to keep her social life stable

Aranea: Her meddling

Horuss: ANGERY but also his prefix in place of 8=D I made I think is adorable (will be seen next upd8).

Kurloz: How the dude talks, still trying to grasp and also his faith

Cronus: His loss of faith in magic + being a bard

That won’t be all there is to them, but it’s some of the choice bits of development that made me feel clever in my planned execution. :y

Question 2: The Ships~

I’m not even gonna pretend I’m not all about ships and all for ship talk.  I try to keep out my own shipping, but there are some places it’s cute or makes sense.  It turned out the more I developed Meenah and Porrim and their friendship, Porrim having a massive crush made sense.  It actually serves as an important element in a few ways but being more specific will probably get into spoiler territory (and OH BOY does that kill me, not talking about all of it).

I’m actually exploring relationships before they explode like Rufioh/Damara and Kurloz/Meulin.  I have some timeline fudging with some events, but that is completely intentional on my part (like when relationships end, when some major events happen, etc) for what I feel is a more satisfying narrative, at least how I’m writing it.  I did try to keep a lot the same tho.

I also want to expand on the Kankri/Latula/Mituna situation as one thing I feel is overlooked is that Kankri and Latula’s feelings were mutual, but never acted on.  I’ve also actually been doing a lot of research into frontal lobe injuries (particularly articles with extensive comment sections) and the effects on a relationship.  Especially untreated and literally no guidance for recovery.  Compounded with Latula’s anxiety leads to a not explicitly canon ship actually, but it is hinted. :3c But the Mitula journey is one I’m fond of.

And actually, speaking of Mituna’s relationships, I have had a huge interest in the sincerity of Kurloz and his relationships.

And actually there are some character interactions/relationships that I like working with because of mutual partners.  Particularly Meulin and Mituna is fun to me.  As for any other ships, there is the brief Aranea/Porrim fling, the ambiguity of Aranea and Meenah’s relationship, etc etc…

But really aside from ships, I feel like I’m laying a good groundwork and well… I hope that where they end when the Scratch is initiated vs where we know they’ve ended up in the afterlife has the emotional impact I want. >:3c

However… there is one place I am hiding some more self indulgent ships… but that’s not for here at the moment. 0u0

The Moment He Disappeared Overboard The Tallmen Started Barking Orders At Each Other With Ferocity, Scrambling To Change Course. The Tallman From Before, My Pipe-Smoker Acquaintance, Clapped His Hands Over My Ears And It Was Only Then When I Realized We Had Sailed Into A Den Of Mermaids.

For Those Who Did Not Help Change The Ship's Course Peered Over The Railing, And We Could See No Rocks Nor Claw Nor Pod. There Was No Flash Of Scale Beneath The Water Nor Taunting Sneer As The Poor Little Fellow Below Was Yanked Down Deep. this is a point i havent seen made before but ive had on my mind. i feel like theres an argument to be made that seeing trans fetish porn in fandom, esepcially that of minors, when youre a trans minor can be validating and results in adults taking advantage of that. i can only speak for myself but for the longest time the only place i didnt see trans people treated like shit was in fandom. admittedly trans people were still greatly fetishized but its better than nothing was how i felt. i liked seeing trans headcanons but the majority of time i would see them was in porn, more specifically stridercest porn that usually blatantly fetishized trans people and gay men too. i often replicated what i saw in porn because i was told it was normal and this contributed to csa and retraumatization.(2/4)

i feel like the porn i saw specifically being trans fetish porn contributed because "this is a character like you, this is normal, this is how cis people want to see you, this is how you get validation" was my thought process and adults encouraged that. its also worth pointing out that nearly every trans person i know was also hurt by fandom and the vast majority of antis i know are trans.(3/4)

i feel like this is a bit rambly, way too long, and not making a lot of sense but what im getting at here and my main idea is the way fandom loves cp and incest combined with how it fetishizes trans people makes for an especially toxic and dangerous environment for trans kids who are very vulnerable to begin with and i think it needs to be talked about more.(4/4)

I totally agree!! And yeah, when you’re a closeted trans teenager with no support systems in real-life, the fetishization of trans people (by fandom, or the internet as a whole) is at least some positive reassurance that you exist and there’s others like you. It’s also true that adults / pedophiles online seek out targets to latch onto and “befriend” for the sake of taking advantage of them being transgender, interested in their fandoms, or willing to discuss with and/or create fetish material for them.

I’ve also heard that a lot of trans people first find out they’re transgender from porn! Specifically, in the late 2000′s internet’s age of easy access to porn, many kids’ first introduction into transgender identities starts with stumbling onto seeing “traps.” Those are horrible, violently misrepresented depictions of trans women, but it’s true that for many trans women that they could only see themselves represented in fetish material for years, growing up.

And now that I think about it, for basically any LGBT person, it’s been kind of a common tradition to first find out that you can be non gender-conforming or be into the opposite sex by accidentally discovering it through porn? In real-life people will be outwardly disgusted by gay, trans, bi people, etc. etc., but in closed-doors cishets fetishize us and are willing to acknowledge we exist on the anonymity of the internet... That sucks, and I wish we had (and have) more positive representations of us in popular media, but there’s not much we could do.

AND YEAH!!!! Stridercest was the biggest source of trans Dave that I can remember, and I think futa!Porrim and Kanaya were the most common “dick-girl” headcanons for the female characters. And holy shit yeah, Stridercests fetishized being gay and conflated that with being interested in your brother/father, and so many fujoshis and fujoshi-supporting gay men drew tons of Stridercest... It was fucking everywhere, and I think as a gay man I was basically forced to like it? Because it was so widely accepted and like John’s “I’m not gay!!” shtick turned me off, but Dirk being gay and in love with his brother was something that validated me as a gay man, and I’m feeling sick thinking about it, but that was the truth when I was like. Goddamn. Thirteen, fourteen, early fifteen years old. I’m so, ugh. And like as a horny gay teen there was a surplus of Stridercest porn compared to any other pairing, so even though DaveJohn was also my first and favorite ship, I’d consume five to ten times as much Stridercest, just because it was so normalized and available.

And I absolutely concur that most antis are trans / gay / ex-fujoshis or ex-shippers that were hurt by fandom and preyed on / manipulated for years to believe that incest/abuse/trans/shota/loli fetishizes were okay. I tried writing a Stridercest fanfic that I showed to my thirty-year old friend on dA (who often would draw me in sexualized poses & would Skype with me all the time to where I was afraid to log onto Skype because he’d always begin talking to me and so I just deleted Skype and left my friends on it) when I was fourteen and like. At the time I was like, this is perfectly normal and okay! Teehee! I was so. I could’ve been taken advantage of so fucking easily and I’m so lucky that I wasn’t, because god, I was in that vulnerable mindset and had my own shota blogs that adults would follow and try to talk to me on, and just. Yikes. Yikes. Yikes!!!

amourete > Pop! Or maybe it's more of a zap? You're here, and in your hand you have a little knapsack you brought of, indeterminate nature. > Clams said he would be on the steps. You seek him out.

vvicissitudo > Right away, immediately, you're there. Dressed in your full regalia, leather armor, neck guard, full blown cape and arm guards and... There's not really much of your skin that isn't protected. You've got a gun half as big as you propped up on your shoulder- Ahabs. It looks dusty.

You jump when she arrives, but you have training, and your trigger finger isn't on the trigger itself. When you see its her, you lower the weapon and put your head in your hands. With your hair braided and tied up to the top of your head, you look 110% done and tensed for a war.

amourete > Oh. That hurts.

You've never seen a royal violet in battle garb before: in your day, your band of misfits never warranted that kind of force, probably out of pride. But seeing him now, knowing why he's dressed the way he is... He doesn't deserve this.

"Hey." You offer a soft smile, with a hint of sympathy, and lift the knapsack. "Brought some snacks. I know you may not be interested, but if you plan to be here for a while, you'll need to keep up your strength. Couldn't get fish though - too expensive."

For an olive, anyway. You did try.

You make your way up the first couple steps to sit with him.

vvicissitudo Your nose detects food, and you lift your head, watching her. She has the softest, smallest smile on her face. You give her one in return, and set the gun down.

"Before you leave, I want you to go... down to the sixth lower floor. Take anything you want. Something big, something small. As a token of my well appreciated gratitude." Your voice sounds so tired. Before it would be soft and sonorous, pretty and smooth to hear, and now you just sounded like you've been marathon singing.

amourete He'd probably be a great singer, if he had been singing.

"Sixth lower floor?" You laugh, which sounds more like the snicker of a cartoon fox. "What's there? I've yet to see much of this place at all, I have no idea how you keep track of it all."

You lay out the fabric, and in it are a couple different camping snacks: jerky you made, from one of your infrequent hunts; dried fruits; some biscuits. It's not anything fancy, but it's a little better than you had for your watches at home. The fruit is certainly an improvement.

vvicissitudo You... Oops. OOOPS!! You're welling up with tears, suddenly sniffling and wiping your nose. The gesture is so... It's so small, but it's so... Ahh...

You wipe your face and smile through your few tears and kind of... cry-laugh a few times, sniffling. "I... I changed my mind, take anything you like, clean it out if you want, fuck, I..."

You take the jerky with a trembling hand, and stick it in your mouth to shut you up.

amourete At first you're scared you said something wrong. For a moment, the humorous and terrifying idea that you've somehow insulted his opulent home finds a place in your thoughts. Is that why he's crying? But this isn't the case: context saves you from fearing a social gaff, and you settle in just to sit, and unfold one of your captcha cards.

"I still don't know what you're talking about," you point out with gentleness, "but we can deal with it later. Not now."

The green card, folded into the shape of a paper cat, comes apart under deft fingers, and as soon as the form of a proper captcha card is visible, it launches a tissue box up in the air. You have to jump up to retrieve it before it falls on him.

You offer it out as you sit again. "I'll be here for a while. It's hard to stand watch alone, and right now, there's nowhere I would rather be."

vvicissitudo > Clearing your throat, you watch with soft, quiet amusement as she unfolds the card, until a tissue box is launched upwards- You jump, startled, and she catches it and offers it.

> You take some of the tissue, and wipe your face, crumpling the ball up and placing it in a pocket somewhere. "... Y-yeah. It is... I uh... Also... You asked how I keep track of the floors, here, yeah?" You look to the floor, tapping the immaculate, perfect flooring. "I uh... Built most of it myself. Everything below us I carved out and built up, and everything above us was originally mostly gutted. Meenah and I.. We've turned this place into our home. It feels... Wrong, that it's... threatened..."

amourete You let the box rest on a step, for when he needs it next. You're pretty sure he will. Hell, *you* might by the end of this, if you're not careful.

"It's hard, but it's not permanent. Meenah has endured hard things. So have you. We just have to hold onto our hope. It's hard, at times, yes - but no one said you had to do it alone."

vvicissitudo > You look to her, and you sniffle again. A violet droplet hangs off your nose, and you attempt to smile. "Y-yeah. I got you, after all... uh... Can I ask... Can I ask a question? Why... Why is this the only place you'd rather be...? Do you want to.. wait for her, when she gets back?"

amourete You almost answer, and then something ghosts across your face that stops you. You close your mouth and look down, one hand reaching for the key that hangs around your neck.

"I've always waited," you say softly. "It's been my life, and it was every one of my deaths, first of mind, then of body. I know how to wait and endure, and the thing I learned most of all is how hard it is to do alone."

You try for a smile, looking back up to him. "So yes, maybe I'll wait for her, but my first thought was 'I can't just leave him there.'"

vvicissitudo > Nope, no, nope, god, you're gonna cry again

> Only this time you lean over and you wrap your arms around her, and you wordlessly cry. You're a big blubbering mess- Meenahs gone, the kids have been gone for weeks, everyones been in danger, you've lost weight and you've just. You've been stressed and tensed and she's here, someone else is here to fill the silence, to keep you company through however long it takes Meenah to return.

amourete Yeah, okay, you should have expected that. You didn't. Sucks to suck!

You wrap your arms loosely around him, bowing your head and holding him as long as he needs. You don't cry, but your silent reverence speaks volumes on its own: every moment you're here is a prayer for Meenah's safety and Cho's recovery.

vvicissitudo > After two or three minutes of tight hugging, you move back from her, and use the tissues again, sitting in silence for a few more minutes. "... you wait here," You eventually say, softly. "I'll be right back." You put a now-steadied hand on her head and stand, metal clinking from some of your armor.

amourete That's probably the funniest thing you've seen all day. You hold your tongue for now, suppressing your giggles, and nod, sitting up straight and attentive. You can pretend to be well-behaved, really!

vvicissitudo > You're headed upstairs quickly, and downstairs just as quickly, holding steaming plates of meat on one arm, a loaf of bread in that hand, your other arm bundled around a couple of condiments (Pickles, mustard, etc). A knife clatters to the floor as it drops, and you sit down just as quick as you'd stood up.

"... I know you brought stuff, but I wanted to offer stuff to you as well."

amourete Stair picnic! You beam. "That's okay! I'm just glad you're eating something." That's the hardest part. You've been dealing with Lil eating scarcely for the past week, so it's an evil you know.

vvicissitudo > It's very hard for you to eat when you're stressed. You're sure meenah complains about it enough to others for them to know you don't eat enough- and if she doesn't, the lithe build of your frame shows off that you've lost a little weight in the past month or so- your skin sags where it shouldn't, not that Felide can tell too much without looking, you're covered much too well.

> You begin making sandwiches, being generous with the meat. "... Yeah? I mean... I guess. I ain't rememberin when i rightly ate last... what about you?"

amourete "I keep to a routine." You shrug, relaxing and laying your chin on your hands. "Habit is stronger than impulse. It's important that I keep my strength up - I have a family to provide for, and I can't allow myself to miss work or be careless. Simple as that, really."

vvicissitudo You nod, listening. You hand her a sandwich, and look to the door, fins flicking. "... You think it'll be okay?" You mumble, softly. "what if I'm just overreacting..."

amourete You thank him for the sandwich, taking it and taking a little bite first. Once you've swallowed it, then you answer: "Your partner is missing in action, and your other partner lost a limb. No, you're not overreacting. Trust me."

vvicissitudo > You blink, taken slightly aback. "Cho ain't my partner, he's my brothers. Cho an I aren't... THAT close... ... Have you talked to vis, though, speakin of... He's missin. Just... flatout gone. No words from anyone. I don't..."

You put your head in your hands again. "I don't know where he is. The connection we share says he's cold, and it's too... sharp, wherever he is."

amourete You look confused, but you let it go: It's probably Cho jumping the gun again. You don't think they'd lie, they're just a little eager, that's all.

"No, I don't know. Vici does though. He mentioned seeing Vis yesterday, but I didn't think much of it. I didn't know he was involved. I don't know about today though - I can ask?"

vvicissitudo You try to chuckle, it comes out dry. "Cho and I are good friends, but we're not... lovers, like Vis or Sally. I wwouldn't call us partners in that sense, no... but you said Vici knows?" You look to your sandwich, taking a few bites. "... Vis lives with Chosis," You say softly. "I bet he saw the whole thing."

amourete Oh you hope that's not so.

"Vici mentioned him the other day online. It could be worth asking, at least... I'm not sure otherwise. That's the only lead I have."

vvicissitudo You look down further, to your feet, your nice boots, your palmhusk laying on the floor. You've barely touched it today. There were other messages... You didn't know the handle of one, you didn't touch it. You should check those.

You sigh, and yawn a bit. "... Yeah, alright. You ask, I guess. I hope it'd be somewhat beneficial..."

amourete You give him a Look. "If you take a nap, I will. You need your rest. I'll wake you if something happens, or if we get more news - promise."

vvicissitudo > You blink your eyes tiredly to that Look, which certainly is like the ones Meenah can give you sometimes. "Don't you..." Yawn. "Don't you dare blackmail me, you... You heckin nerd." You tease, and lean back on the steps, shifting over to the side of the stairs. "I ain't movin from the stairs, though..."

amourete You unclip the day cape you wore over to the hive, simple and warm, and fold it up, placing it under where his head would fall.

"I won't make you move," you promise. "Get some good rest, okay? I'll be here."

vvicissitudo > You wrap your own around your shoulders some more, getting nice and comfortable. "... Yeah, alright. You eat that sandwich." You chuckle tiredly, and close your eyes.

> It... It takes you a while, to fall asleep. Each small noise, each small breath, wakes you and rouses you from half sleep, but eventually, you do so.

Homestuck?

the character i least understand

since theres like ten thousand characters in homestuck i’m gonna stick with the kids and trolls. out of them, i guess i don’t understand gamzee the most

this is painfully difficult because Every Interaction Ever in homestuck is golden. im really trying hard to pick a favorite but... they’re all so good. i like how all the beta kids interact with each other a lot, and i have enjoyed every single chat log that has ever involved terezi in any capacity. i particularly liked her and daves interactions earlier on in the comic, during the Cool Kid Arc. i also love everything kanaya has ever said. i could go on so i’m just gonna say... all of them. all of them
