the scammer @/rescueplease has now been deleted, but since a lot of people are still reblogging my posts about it, i'm changing my pinned post to a list of currently active scam accounts
scammers with the same m.o., sometimes similar profile pics and linktrees/paypal addresses:
> numberonegoateeeagle (paypal name 'Jeff Owino') new
> nour-samr (paypal name 'Nour Samar') >> nour-samr0 new/remake
scammer pretending to be a sick Black person, using the paypal name, 'Alafred Opondo'
> enchantingqueencreator
the 'insulin scammer''s latest blog (at least i think it's their latest blog:
> fancycoffeepeanut
empty blogs who are mass-reblogging the scam posts and are likely just the scammers sock puppet accounts used to pad the notes of their posts, pls block them too:
> chopra-79
> futuristicphilosopherartisan new
deleted/deactivated/changed url:
maina-3
immariaanszz >> iammarinassaa >> iammarinassaass
jovialsuitdonutai (paypal name 'jeff owino')
khalilhan (paypal name 'samuel obiya') >> khaliilhan
marylinfwaznassar (paypal name 'maryline lucy')
stickytreephilosopher (paypal name 'jeff owino')
perfectlyminiatureface (paypal name 'jeff owino')
optimisticalpacalady (paypal 'jeff owino')
omarkhalini (paypal 'fred odhiambo')
marylinefwaznassar (paypal 'maryline lucy')
khalilhani (paypal 'samuel obiya')
weepingpersondestiny (paypal 'jeff owino')
as always, please block and report these blogs, and more importantly, warn your friends, mutuals, and followers if you see them reblogging their scam posts. if you see a donation post/blog that you believe may be a scam, please do look their url up first on the tumblr search bar to see if someone has already called them out. i will try to update this post with the scammers' new accounts/url as we discover them. please also go to @kyra45's blog, as they are faster and more thorough in updating about newly discovered scams.
some red flags to look out for before sharing donation posts/donating:
new blog, or a couple years old but has only a few random, sporadic posts
backdated posts
spamming asks to a lot of other users, even the ones they don't know or have just followed, and even when the user has made it clear they don't want to receive requests to boost dono posts
is asking you to answer their asks privately, or is sending you a message directly
is straight up asking you for money, and usually for impossibly large amounts
do not put their paypal/money transfer links on their post itself, usually claiming it's to protect their 'privacy'
is using Zelle for their money transfer account, especially if the person is claiming to be in Palestine
please don't be so quick to entertain donation requests and to give away your money, especially if the user ticks a lot of these boxes. if you are familiar with the place they say they are from or the language they are supposed to speak, try conversing with them for a bit to see if their claims would hold. you can also browse my 'donation scam' tag or kyra45's blog to compare if the user has any similarities with past scammers that we've discovered.
that's it po. let's all try our best to look out for each other and make sure that our resources are going to the actual people in need, especially in the case of Palestinians asking for help. the last thing they need right now is for shitty lowlifes to use their suffering to make a profit.

A reminder that scammers are using the situation in Palestine to make a quick buck by stealing images off news sources passing it off as their own or even taking images from real people there and using it as theirs. They are finding public fundraisers on Facebook or elsewhere and saving it to use for themselves. Scammers do not care about what’s happening there; They only want to make money without caring who’s getting affected by it and making it more difficult for Palestine people to get the support they’re needing.
These scammers pretend they’re from Palestine or say their family is in Palestine and usually use a story that sounds real enough but may seem slightly flawed. They may be going around sending DMs asking for donations in private instead and their posts often have a Linktree link to obscure their PayPal. This is a recent development due to their scams getting called out so often they’ve tried to hide it but keep doing the same thing several times over. However, this isn’t to say everyone who uses that is scamming and most of the time these scammers don’t have any other link on it meaning it’s only purpose is to try and hide the PayPal link out of sight but it also means you can track where it appears! Usually a scam account will reuse links across their blogs and give away their scam.
Additionally, these scammers claiming to be in Palestine/have a family in Palestine often will insist they do what they’re doing for safety reasons if you start asking them questions about their methods. They’ll start getting details wrong, make excuses, and then tell you that you just don’t understand anything at all and that you’re attacking them because you just asked a few simple questions. There has been a case of a scammer who used photos of an American family in a hospital claiming they were in Palestine.
Unfortunately, these scams will only get more numerous in time and the scammers will try to profit off of it since there’s plenty of footage they can claim as their own and plenty of images/stories to steal and pass on as theirs. They will not tell you anything with honesty and will continue to lie for as long as they’d like. They don’t stop when called out and usually just change usernames at a rapid pace and block anyone who comments on their posts saying they’re a scammer.
As a result, here is some suggestions:
1. Donate only to verified sources that are confirmed to be going towards Palestine
2. Donate only to accounts who is verified to be someone who is a Palestine resident usually via other users who know them well
3. Always be wary of DMs from complete strangers asking for money on the spot if it’s a brand new account though older ones pop up trying scams too
4. Ask questions to those who send you DMs that only someone in Palestine would know the answer to. See what they know and how well they reply or see if they stop talking to you the instant you ask them anything. Alternatively, ask for their paypal-me link and see if they’re willing to give it to you. Type it into search and see where it goes. Pay attention to the country, the persons name, and the images they have. Record it for archiving purposes
5. Just be wary of asks sent that claim to be someone in Palestine/have a family in Palestine. As far as I know and can tell, these asks are rarely from legitimate users needing support but that’s not to say they’re all scams some may be real people
Overall, just please be careful out there and pay attention to where your money will go. Make sure it’s a verified support method and ensure the funds are going to who needs it. There are links out there that go to legitimate places, and users are free to share this and add them if they’d like.

casey + alex vs. smartphones
when bored or taking a break from reviewing her case notes, casey plops down on the couch (most of the time accompanied by a beloved bag of potato chips) scrolling through instagram reels of cat videos that she sometimes sends to alex.
alex calls casey out from the dining table where she’s preparing her cases and yells at her to stop sending her stupid videos because her phone keeps pinging. under grumpy breath, alex opens casey’s messages to watch the videos she sent. she smiles and wonders whether it is time for them to try and adopt a pet.
other things casey does with her smartphone:
1. casey learns new recipes by watching youtube videos so she could impress alex with her cooking skills. she also browses tagged restaurants on instagram reels so she could take alex there if she thinks they’re worth it.
2. she leaves movie reviews on letterboxd, especially if the ending of a movie really upset her
3. when she’s antsy, she plays harvest moon/stardew valley
4. casey has pinterest boards that she updates regularly: “date with alex ❤️”, “small tattoo ideas”, “poems that remind me of alex ❤️”, “stupid memes”
5. she has a reddit account but never posts. she uses it just to read the ridiculously funny and the questionably morbid.
casey’s google search history:
how to handle anxiety symptoms / sous vide vs. pressure cooking / are all orange cats crazy / gone girl actress / is orange from the color or the fruit / do fish pee / is bloodbending illegal / duck penis / date night ideas / is mayonnaise better for grilled cheese / padded sliding mats / jurassic park survival guide / new ways to pleasure your girlfriend / silly cat names / sneaky ways to ask your girlfriend to marry you / will our cat attempt to eat our pet fish if we decide to also keep fish pets / gelato vs. ice cream / what to give wife for first anniversary
things alex does with her smartphone:
(the first thing alex does in the morning after brushing her teeth is checking whether she has important emails that need to be urgently responded to)
1. she has a binaural beats/nature sounds app so she can listen to them to help her with anxiety when casey is not around
2. her mobile games of choice are (a) duolingo - to channel her competitiveness and always get to number 1 on leaderboards; (b) merge cooking; (c) nyt games - to pass time when she can’t sleep
3. casey encouraged alex to start journaling to help relieve some symptoms of anxiety. for convenience, alex uses the notion app as a semi-journal, semi-to-do list. at the end of a tiring day and esp if casey is on a work trip, she scribbles a brief narrative of how her day went and how it made her feel. sometimes, she shares her notes to casey.
4. convenience apps: uber, uber eats, doordash, pocket yoga, skyscanner, wise, paypal, opentable, airbnb, booking.com
5. alex has subscription to both apple music and spotify. she insists that sound quality is better in apple music but spotify’s user interface is friendlier. she has different playlists for each mood, and made playlists for casey. she hasn’t shared all those playlists to her though.
alex’s google search history:
are there any advantages to castling queenside? / how do you politely ask someone for their instagram account but as a friend? / what does it mean when young people say that “this is sending me”? / how to tell your girlfriend you love her without having to say it explicitly? / are intrinsic motivations learned? / what restaurant serves the best grilled cheese in manhattan? / list of fragrances with subtle sillage appropriate to wear at work / what signs to look out for which indicates that your girlfriend wants to marry you? / list of the most romantic places for honeymoon / best galleries to visit while in Barcelona / how hard is it to raise a child?

hi. writing here because of your privacy settings, sorry.
from what i’ve seen you’re doing supporting for fundraisers, and i wanted to ask for your help.
i’ve had a person submit an ask to me saying they’re from gaza and need donations. i’ve never had experience with anything like this, but i’m trying to ask questions. they don’t share much info about themselves. their link leads to a something something linktree where you can donate with paypal. they sent me a photo per request, upon looking it up in google it leads to a gofundme https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-the-aqlain-family-evacuate-gaza?modal=donations&tab=all
can’t open it because of the country i live in, but the date is set to 16 feb. the name there doesn’t match name in their link, or the name they’ve sent me per my request.
:•( i’m getting a fishy vibe, but i’m worried it could be a person new to tumblr or eng speaking social media in general.
Tumblr media
hi! sorry for responding so late. you did everything correctly and those are all definitely signs of it being a scam. i just talked w a friend about this (ill copy and paste my tips below).
i completely understand the worry. many of these red flags aren't outright indicators that every single blog that fits them is a scam, but the combination of things is what really makes the case. it's unfortunate but, a big red flag generally is if a new blog sends you an ask about donations. it's a common scam tactic from before this nakba. the scammers are just exploiting palestinians' genocide instead of the other issues they typically exploit.
obviously not all of these tips are absolute indicators of a scam and some are already things youve considered! but my general tips:
1. is the blog just new? if the icon is of a real person, is it their image? (you can reverse google image search! w mobile you'll have to save the image first and find a site for it. i typically use labnol but i can help you find alternatives if youd like!) are the posts they're reblogging related to the things that you post? (consider: how did they find you) are the posts they're reblogging coming from an actual dashboard rather than the recommendation page? (indicates that they're reblogging popular posts without any rhyme or reason to look like a real blog) is their first post a donation post and was it just made? (dates the blog. you can look in their archives to see the date of their earliest post)
2. where are they linking to? im not sure if your device has an option to preview a link url before sending you to the page but if it does, i would use that here just to be safe. do the names of the accounts match? (note that in this case, of course, many fundraisers are being raised by people outside of palestine. but if the blog claims to be the account owner, do their names seem to match? if theres a description, do the names match the ones the blog gives?) does it lead to a paypal instead of a gofundme? heavily stressing that this obv doesnt mean every request from someone using paypal is a scam, esp w the way gfm has been screwing over some palestinians, BUT paypal is often what scammers would use. gofundme is generally reliable and every fundraiser is donation protected, meaning its possible to get a refund from gofundme in the rare case that the fundraiser is a scam.
3. verifying gfm's can be a lot harder bc my go to options aren't always available. generally what i do is to look at through the organizer's updates, the fundraiser's description <- which obv you should always do anyways, and the fundraisers photos to see if theres anymore information about social media accounts related to the fundraiser. sometimes people will link twitter profiles, sometimes people will link instagram profiles. its just the same process of scrolling back as far as you can and seeing if you can identify the same face(s) from before more people started exploiting these traumas to scam others, seeing when the profile was made, checking if the images are truly from the profile's owners and not stolen, etc.
the biggest indicators imo are the stolen photos since the originals almost always link back to a name that doesn't match the blog.

Yo hi there! I’m very sorry to bother you at this time of the day, just reaching out if you’d be so kind to check the post that I pinned on my blog and maybe give it a little help by boosting/sharing it? it’s for my cat :((( and we need help to get him the dental care he needs. It would really mean the world to me and I understand if you don’t, still appreciate you and stay safe! and btw, please do send me a msg to reply or answer the ask privately instead as I want avoid other blogs to think im a spambot or what, once again im sorry for asking this, praying you’d consider! 🫶🏽🥹
you know what
no 🙏❤
hey kids, lets play a game of spot a scam again!! (im copying the message ive replied with before here and the original is at the bottom if you wish to reblog that one :) just editing this a bit here to show the new stuff they are putting out there in this very message yay!!)
okay this is literally the same story ive seen before at least three times. its word to word the same. youre not even trying
reblogs only from original posts. they have gotten "smarter" tho as this blog followed me in attempts to try to show its "real". and yet they havent reblogged from blogs they supposedly follow, only from probably the top posts from some popular tags and only from the original posters. also please note literally all the posts in their blog have been reblogged today within the past three to four hours (apparently im so loopy i cant read times rn, its been about the past 15 to 16 hours but the point still stands, they are all reblogged within the last 24 hours)
also they try to act more human with a decent description and likes and follows turned off. dont try hun
their only original post as far as i scrolled (which admittedly wasnt very far as its obvious this is a scam lol) is the donation post. unsurprisingly
ive said it before and i'll say it again - they seem to target people in similar positions that they are supposedly in, trying to pluck that sympathy cord with "your pet is sick so you are sensitive and know how this feels". this isnt my case rn but i obviously have posted cat photos and i have a donation ko-fi link in my pinned post sssoooo
"pls consider answering this ask privately" lmao so what people dont know youre a scammer? NEXT (they literally say this now like lmaooo for real? so that people dont think youre a scam bot?? honey please are you even trying)
a simple search even within tumblr tells you people already know about this. the account, the story and the cat. you aint fooling anymore
if unsure kids, ask a friend and google things 👍 reverse image search, for example, is your best friend!! also googling the latter half of the given paypal name reveals immediately that this is a scam. plastered all over the first search page lmao
also kids, in case youre asking "well what bad could a one little me reblogging a post even if its a scam do if i dont donate :/" 1. im sorry what and 2. it makes them look legitimate which they are not. the more notes the more trusted the source cause tumblr is full of idiots (sorry not sorry ive been here for over 11 years i know what people are like) plus you put your friends, mutuals and followers in a risk of participating in a scam. and have your name associated with it as well. do i need to go on?
anyways hi go report this blog and always be hesitant if someone you dont know asks you for donations like this. unless its a beloved mutual on your dash, reconsider. stay safe, thanks 💜
looking forward to being unfollowed and blocked immediately after posting this, but i'll be sure to report you for a scam. :) also fuck you for using someone elses poor cat and their situation to literally scam good natured people out of money, what the fuck is wrong with you
peace and love, fuck you ✌💜

it is dangerous to promote unverified fundraisers! emmilyy3/Emily Mwelu is a scammer profiting off of the genocide

please familiarize yourself with the posts of some current scammers while they are still under these usernames: agneskebwariii, beatricergiveer, omahe, lovelysparklychild, futuristicbouquet, v-700n, rasher-9, tacofriends, reallydelightfulfury, waywardpeacejellyfish, honestlyholieallie, coolsublimewolf, emmilyy3
i really recommend looking at their pinned posts in order to better recognize scams, not just using this list as a blocklist, because once they are terminated they each will immediately remake their scams under a new username
Sorry about that! I don’t really have time to go searching for every person who could be a scammer so I just wanted to share things just in case. I’ll delete it. I don’t usually get this type of thing because I barely have any followers but okay 😅

i can't tell if you're aware based on your responses to their asks so just in case:
waywardpeacejellyfish/Nakhumicha Ruth is a documented scammer profiting off of the genocide. they have previously used this same paypal account to get money by pretending to be a palestinian needing insulin for their diabetes

coincidentally, futuristicbouquet/Florence Khakasa/Florence Khaid and happilydifferentbouquet (now reallydelightfulfury)/Marystella Majuma are both currently running this insulin scam. they are not diabetic and they are not palestinian. search the other names they go by on here: leila rajab, remmy cheptau, tasneem r'm, leila mohammed rajab, tasneem remmy rajaab, valentine rajaab, wafula valentine, salima abdallah, tasneem abdalah, Tasneem Majuma, Magandalina Auma, taheera abdallah, Dorine nanjala, dorine rajaab, Jastus Kimanzi, daisy akinyi, daisy rahaab, taheera mohammed, Mutsui Martin Mohamed, merrine sussy rahah, merrine atieno, merrine rahah, emmily kimesis, nakhumicha Ruth, Beatrice Akoth Oduor, fatuma ruth ali

i really recommend looking at their pinned posts in order to better recognize scams, not just using this list as a blocklist, because once they are terminated they each will immediately remake their scams under a new username
Once again, providing a link to help actual real fundraisers HAS BEEN THE ONLY WAY I CAN GET A SCAMMER TO LEAVE ME ALONE. Ignoring them gets them back in my inbox. Deleting their ask gets them back in my inbox. BLOCKING THEM JUST MAKES THEM COME BACK TO ME WHEN THEY REMAKE.
There has been nothing NOTHING for me to get them to leave my inbox be and this is the only way I’ve found that slows them down! Providing a link so people can check for themselves is the only productive thing I’ve been able to do! Even if the scammer ignores what I said and ignores if the link proves they’re lying or I say that they’re lying in my response (which has happened multiple times), at least it can help SOMEONE out by providing actual fundraisers! I’m sorry but I’m getting a little frustrated with repeating myself about why I respond to these in the first place! I don’t know how much more clearly I can state that I want people to check the link to vetted fundraisers before donating.
Edit: I really am sorry for losing my patience, you’re trying to help and I should be more frustrated with the scammers then with you.

In regards to the current stuff going on regarding Palestinian fundraisers, I will reiterate the criteria I use when checking the blogs of accounts that I may see when browsing things:
1. Is the url auto-generated? - This isn’t a go to tactic, but a very common thing among scam blogs. Their url is almost always auto generated by tumblr. However, legitimate accounts can have this too! As I have seen verified accounts who have this.
2. Does the post state who verified it? - Sometimes in red text the blog claims to be vetted/verified but fails to state anywhere in the post who vetted it or who verified it. It’s often in large text format at the very top of the post ending in exclamation marks. There have been two cases where these blogs listed who vetted them but then removed it when found out to be lying. A third used a made up username.
3. Is there PayPal or gfm link? - Not every gfm link is a scam, nor is every PayPal link a scam as some can be legit. However, a private PayPal donation pool with a Kenyan sounding name isn’t very likely to be a Palestinian. Also a linktree claiming to be gfm generally is just a PayPal link sometimes.
4. How old is the pinned post? - Turn on timestamps and see the post date. Is it recent or old? Usually it’s a few hours old.
5. Are there other posts? - Most blogs have more than one original post and more than a few reblogs of posts that aren’t from trending topics.
6. Searched the username/post? - If looking up the url, what do you see? Usually there will be posts answering the asks that may link to any verification from well known blogs or posts calling out the account. If searching the text of the post, it could pull up the source.
7. Come to a conclusion based on what is found during research but also pay attention to any details that are in the post itself. Try to ensure any warning explains the reasoning behind suspicion but leave it up to others to look it up on their own as well.

Hey there, thank you for caring about others but the insulin aid post by happykingtale is a scam. The insulin guy keeps remaking their blog with the exact same story but different PayPal fundraiser links and using different first/last names on those fundraisers and will raise their “goal” when they get close to it.
Unfortunately scams like these are quite common on Tumblr. They create a new blog, slap a few reblogs onto it to ward off anyone who doesn’t scroll down far enough, and start sending out asks requesting donations. In this case their blog was created Wednesday and they made their donation post within 15 minutes. Remember to turn on post dates in settings and double check anyone who comes to your inbox asking for support.
Oh tysm for warning me!!! It's really sad that scammers do things like this :(
I'll make sure to delete the post and report the account!

I was initially reluctant to release this, but someone asked me to, and in light of the scammer Ivysour/Savemysister continuously coming back (as well as spam reporting my blog until I got shadowbanned bc I called them out :I ), I've compiled a list of this particular scammers' behaviors and tactics when creating new scams. I'm releasing this in the hopes people might see it and, responsibly, use it to help decipher if a particular blog is possibly a scam, and likely part of the savemysister scam.
In case you didn't know, the user savemysister is a scam/scam ring that's been going on for a couple years now, and they've released multiple other fake fundraisers using multiple fake names, fake or stolen photos, and stories because their main scam, savemysister, had been called out so many times (but this particular scam is still active btw).
So, evidence of a certain person being a scammer from the savemysister scam ring should exhibit most or all the following behavior (in addition to suspicious behavior popularly exhibited by scammers lately, but more specifically, the scammer Ivysour, and in addition to the behavior of the savemysister scammer as shown in the link of the savemysister scam given in the previous paragraph)
The person asking for donations is based in the Phillipines (this alone does not make someone a scammer, at all. DO NOT use this alone as "evidence"). The savemysister scammer seems to be based in the Phillipines and ethnically Filipino, and has continuously used photos of people from the Phillipines as "evidence" for their fake donation posts (as opposed to some other scammers who change & falsify their ethnicity for their scams, which I've also seen here)
Its a fundraiser for someone who is not the direct reciever of the money. Usually its someone claiming to be fundraising for a close relative or just someone they have an undisclosed relationship with. Its usually them saying "im fundraising for my sister" or "this family needs help", its almost never these people fundraising for themselves
It's almost always for some kind of medical issues (pulmonary hypertension is a popular one)
The format is always the same: there'll be two photos next to each other; either both are photos of someone (usually who looks seriously ill) and then the "proof" in the text below showing doctor's forms, or it'll be the photo of the person & then the doctor form next to it in the photo
If they are fundraising for alleged medical reasons, the medical condition will be very vague & not elaborated upon (ex: the last scam claimed they needed money for dialysis because of "a heart disease" but did not elaborate which one)
If there's a person who looks unwell in the photo, often times they'll either look very out of it (like possibly half awake or sedated), they'll be looking away from the camera, or they'll be asleep
This fundraiser will often have multiple blogs reblogging from each other & going around asking people to reblog the donation post, or sometimes these multiple blogs will also have made another post for the same person
To add onto the above, they might have multiple paypals with different names advertised on these multiple tumblr blogs, but that these PayPals are all allegedly fundraising for the same person?
The blog has anon turned off, may have messages turned off, replies turned off, ignores anyone who asks them questions regarding more proof or the legitimacy of their fundraiser, and ignores anyone who calls them a scammer or publically asks them for more proof in the reblogs of their own post or in asks they sent about reblogging their post
States that they will "delete when funds are met" (convenient thing to use as an excuse so people will assume your funds were met & that you're genuine rather than the truth that you disappeared suddenly bc you got called out for scamming, right?)
Their multiple accounts asking people to donate to seemingly the same person or same post with have a username with the o's (one or more) replaced with 0's
Two different blogs fundraising for apparently two different people/fundraisers using identical wording (and I don't just mean they sound like the same person because of similar wording or personality, I mean IDENTICAL word for word, copy-pasted messages) in asks or messages for people to donate to their respective donations
The blog is pretty new, only has one post or a few posts on their blog. Sometimes their first post is the one asking for money
Profile pics & header is either something very generic (like a pfp of a cat, & a sunset background) or taken from google (I've seen "aesthetic" pics from pinterest or Instagram icons from unrelated profiles/people)
Alternatively, the photos they've provided as "evidence" for the person they're fundraising for, the photos they've given of allegedly the same person are obviously of two or more different people
Say that they'll update on the situation, but actually don't, if they do in some cases they only update how much money they have by going back and re-editing the same post or generally never reblog from themselves but keep re-editing the same post (I think I've seen this happening as a trend so there's no or limited evidence if they delete the post)
Alternatively, they continously delete and remake the same post multiple times, sometimes with new information, without clarifying why they've deleted their post multiple times
They ask someone to make their donation post for them, or a gofundme in their name or express desire that someone would
They have hidden any reblogs or replies in their donation post that accused them (with evidence) of being a scammer or have asked them questions (with evidence to back up the reasoning for questioning their sincerity) regarding possibly being connected to other scammers
In cases where they have multiple blogs fundraising for the same person: they suddenly delete donation posts that were reblogged/made and then abandon certain blogs for seemingly no reason, while others remain up and/or new blogs pop up fundraising for the identical purpose & person
& please don't take this to mean every fundraiser from someone from the Phillipines or is ethnically Filipino is a scammer, that is absolutely not true! but these accounts who keeps coming back, spamming, & making new accounts & this is all behavior I've seen from the scams coming from the people who run the savemysister scam & these are the tactics they keep using over and over. But i wouldn't be surprised if they tried to change up their tactics AGAIN because they seem to try something a little different with each new scam based on how they were called out before
Again, a post should exhibit most or all of this behavior AS WELL as most or all of the red flags of scammers here to be sure that it could POTENTIALLY be a scam. Please do not abuse this information to call anyone you don't like or anyone who asks for help a scammer.

Eren doesn’t know how it starts, he really couldn’t say. One day, he’s scrolling through Instagram, and he finds perhaps one of the finest specimens he’s ever seen. Mikasa is all her bio says, and it’s just picture after picture of her lush perfect body that has him tenting his cargo pants with minimal effort.
She’s perhaps, the loveliest thing he’s ever seen, in all aspects from those perky tits to her round ass all the way up to that pretty face of hers.
Although it’s obvious she’s somewhat new to the whole adult industry, he can see it in the progression of photography. How she switches from just setting her phone up somewhere random to really developing a talent for her angles, knowing how to frame the curve of her ass just right.
Despite her obvious inexperience and posts only as recent as last month, she absolutely captivates him.
She’s different, different than all the other girls that blend together after a while, same old bikini pics, something about her just draws him in and he’s entranced. It’s just her, she has a way with the camera, or maybe just a way with him. Something about her has him obsessed. It becomes an addiction, how much he spends on her, and if he didn’t have the disposable income he did, it would drive him into the ground. But Eren isn’t too shabby himself, in fact, if anything, he’s probably more famous than Mikasa in the OnlyFans community. He does well for himself, he’s been around for a while and he’s not dumb with his money either, he invests it and whatever is left over… well that at the moment is currently paying his own personal subscription to everything Mikasa Ackerman.
Videos, pictures, private Instagram, private snapchat, if she has it, he’s paying for it. He’s not being cocky when he says he’s her biggest fan, sometimes she shouts him out on videos, and whenever he sends a fat tip over, he loves watching her face light up and those grey eyes gleam in the light of the screen as she gets all excited. The money is still new to her, still a novelty, whereas to him, he’s kind of over it, it’s a job and it pays well, but the excitement is gone. Mikasa on the other hand is still green and starry eyed about the whole thing, spending her money like its water.
But who is he to care honestly, he’ll pay her regardless of what she does, she could show up in a three piece suit and he’d still thank her just for existing.
So, to say Eren has an unhealthy obsession with the pretty Instagram model is honestly an understatement. He’s addicted, get it right.
He’s thought about dm-ing her for a collaboration before, after all, he is pretty famous, models more famous than her message him all the time, and he’s done collabs before.
What holds him back is the fact that she obviously has no fucking clue who he is.
He follows her on her private Instagram, the one reserved for friends, a privilege she allows to very few, and he’d taken the opportunity as soon as she’d offered it. Gold.
He’d followed her on his own private account, one filled with pictures of his face, inside jokes, etc, all the typical private Instagram embarrassing crap, but it’s still obvious exactly who it is. His name is in his bio for fuck’s sake, so is his OnlyFans link, and his paypal, just in case any of his friends are feeling generous. It’s so obvious who he is, and yet, she’s clearly never given more than a cursory glance to his Instagram, doesn’t even like the shirtless pics he posts. He’d bet money she’s probably muted him, assuming he was just a creepy guy from her channel that she’d let in because he paid well.
It bruises his ego a little bit, she has no idea who he is, and evidently, she doesn’t care. He’s not at all subtle, he uses the same username on every social media EYeager17, she knows he’s the same person, but not who he actually is. It's humbling to say the least. So Eren minds his own business, goes about his life, making money selling pictures of his dick, and commenting on every one of Mikasa’s Instagram posts with about a thousand heart eye emojis, and every video, sends her lingerie when she asks for it, whatever is on her wish list. He doesn’t care, he’ll enjoy her from afar, whatever she wants, he’s not going to be creepy. Just seeing her pretty face is a privilege.

Hey. I'm sorry. So. Your post about sunseekerknight is really long and it seems out of date. I thought everything had been resolved and she promised to make amends but this all started back around again and it sounds like your issue isn't solved. Can you update me real quick? Sorry.
Thanks for being polite and coming to me. I’ll try to summarize things to the best of ability while also noting this is kinda a clusterfuck. It got long, so it’s under a cut.
In March 2020, I commissioned @sunseekerknight (I’m blocked so I can’t actually @ her) to do a Tarot Card commission of my Inquisitor for $80. I sent the money via PayPal friends and family as she requested which is something I no longer do for artists, even though I’d done it before with no problems.
The main post goes over my initial experience really well - the repeated attempts at contact and missed deadlines. This post was made on June 18, 2020 and blew up. I informed Ada that day I was making the post and she told me she’d be doing so as well.
I’d already filed the PayPal claim which was ultimately denied because I’d sent the money via friends and family, despite SSK’s assurances she’d help me resolve it in my favor.
I didn’t hear from SSK after this and I didn’t contact her. My father passed away on June 20th and I was busy dealing with the personal fallout of that (he’d been in the hospital the whole month of June as it was) so my priorities swung towards processing my own grief and planning what happens next.
On July 10th, my PayPal claim was denied. I forwarded the claim to SSK with the following message:
I want to inform you that PayPal has indicated, due to the way you asked me to send the funds (friends and family), they are unable to provide any sort of refund based on their policies. It is your responsibility to make the refund.
Because of the history of fraud I've uncovered, I will be pursuing this further. I am, in particular, asking PayPal to mark this account as one used for fraudulent transactions and scamming money before closing it. My hope is that this account is in your real name and that getting this account marked for fraud has real consequences you have to live with.
I honestly didn’t expect to hear from SSK again, but I did on July 12th:
Oh, I see. Now the difficult situation has become even more difficult. I'm sorry to say this, but, as I said earlier, I had only two offers for people affected by my actions - a PayPal dispute or finished art. And since PayPal is useless in this situation, all I can offer you - is art. I’m still ready to finish your commission because I don't want you to be left with nothing. I would like to return the money, really, but it will take time and I don't know how much, considering the current situation on Tumblr. I still want to resolve this issue peacefully, despite what is happening now. I know that you don't trust me, and I understand this, as well as the fact that you are disappointed, angry, etc., but still I want to do at least something so as not to leave the situation as it is now. But if this is your final decision, then okay, I understand and accept it.
This message struck me as victim blaming. I am, after all, responsible for the situation on Tumblr which means she can’t get commissions. I reacted with some venom and my tone is not great here, but I do ask you to understand the frame of mind I was in here on July 13th:
I don't think it's fair to claim that PayPal is being unhelpful in this situation when it is you who are refusing to refund money for a service that was purchased and not completed. I think it would make me feel better if you started phrasing the "situation" in a way that took responsibility for it. Such as: "I cannot refund the money to you myself, because I spent it before delivering what you paid for, and I cannot get your dispute resolved through PayPal because I asked you to send the payment a specific way that precludes disputes."
I also feel hurt that immediately after I sent my email on Friday, you blocked me from Tumblr and turned all your social media accounts private. I can't think of why you would do this when you claim to still want to resolve this and when I have been more than kind. I find it difficult to believe that you didn't know what my review would cause - it sounds to me like this is something that has been brewing for awhile. Frankly, I'm amazed it took three years. I would also appreciate if, instead of blaming the "situation" on Tumblr for your inability to receive new commissions, you began taking responsibility for that as well. May I suggest: "My actions in the past three years have harmed many people and they are angry about it with good cause. Because I have damaged my reputation to a great extent, I will probably not receive many, if any, people willing to pay me money for commissions."
I fully expect to receive nothing from you: art or my money returned. When speaking with PayPal on Friday, they advised the only way to shut your PayPal account down is if I file a criminal complaint with the IC3, which is the US's Internet Crimes division of the FBI. I did so and sent them the screenshots I have of all our conversations, your posts on Tumblr, and links to the posts of other people who publicly came out regarding the same behavior they experienced. I'm uncertain I can withdraw my complaints from both PayPal and the IC3, and if I could I don't think I would. I'm sure this isn't something that is high priority for them, but I assume eventually they will contact you to discuss your actions. The way I see it, you have three options at this point in time:
Find some way to issue a refund to me, and any other customers you've wronged. If I am contacted by investigators, I will say a refund was eventually issued in my case.
Deliver the art you promised to me, and any other customers. If I am contacted by investigators, I will say a product was eventually delivered in my case.
Continue to ignore what you've done and hope that no real consequences come of it.
As to the art, I don't want it anymore. It has been tainted by this awful experience and I will not enjoy it. I will, however, accept it if you choose to do it to lessen whatever consequences you may end up facing because, truly, I'd rather you learn from this than end up with financial or legal consequences that are even more burdensome.
Honestly. I never expected to hear from SSK again. But I did because this is the drama that never ends. On July 20th:
I must apologize for the long silence. Sorry, I just got home from an unexpected vacation with my family, and I followed the advice of my parents and friends - spend these days away from work and the Internet to feel better. As I said, I understand you. You sound reasonable and you are totally right - it is my responsibility for that. And I'm trying to work it out, even if these are rather strange ways. And it wasn't about you personally. This was part of another problem with a friend I was trying to protect, and I followed the advice to keep the accounts private during the "war" and block some people on the tumblr during this time to avoid any collisions. But still, I was available for correspondence via email, and now all my accounts are again freely available. I know how it looks like, especially for you, when you have really been more than kind to me, and I cannot apologize enough to somehow change and improve this situation. I just fucked up on all fronts and I admit it. And I see, yes. I don't mind returning your art or money, it's just a matter of time. These are not days, these are weeks or months, and it is solely a matter of your patience. If you do not mind waiting, then I will try to return the money to you, since you no longer want art for obvious reasons. I understand and accept it, and it's okay. If you're willing to wait, I'll keep you informed of the refund situation and will do it as soon as I can.
You’ll note earlier I told you I can’t tag SSK cause I’m blocked. I’ve never been unblocked since July despite her saying she would. This is also the last email I got from SSK. I’ve had no communication since to my knowledge.
At this point in time I was tired. Really tired. It was bad news I got this email exactly a month after my father passed because I just didn’t want to do it anymore. This is my second to last email to SSK in response also on July 20th:
Please feel free to do what you need to do to manage the situation. For my part, I have said and done all I can. I have asked for a refund for a service you have been unable to provide in a reasonable time frame, and thus you are legally obligated to return my money in the same reasonable time frame. That time frame has passed already.
When I am contacted by authorities about this matter in response to my complaints, I will tell them you have promised refunds but have not delivered. The only thing you could do to change this answer is to issue a refund before I am contacted.
This exchange is draining and unhelpful for me. I ask that you please do not contact me again until you are ready to issue a refund.
On September 25th, I was informed SSK had successfully opened commissions on Twitter and Instagram. This spurred me to send one final email:
I've been informed you recently reopened commissions to buy yourself something and met your goal, even though you only advertised on Twitter and Instagram.
I would like to remind you that I'm still owed a refund AND you shouldn't spend that commission money until you deliver on that art. Please do not rip and entire new group of people off.
There are other people, in the notes of the original post, who can attest to terrible experiences similar to mine. In particular, @starsandskies, @vorchagirl, and @charlatron have all come forward to talk about what she’s done and their experiences. Her pattern seems to be to open commissions, deliver a few, have the rest dragged out of her, and then to not do other ones. I drew the short straw this time.
I don’t know if she’s reading this - if she is, at this point all I really want is an apology, a list of people who are waiting for art/refunds from her, and a plan as to how she’s going to make it right. If she doesn’t do those things, I suspect I’m going to keep getting dragged back into this cluster for awhile to talk about my experiences.
If you’re waiting for artwork Non, open PayPal disputes and file complaints if you need to. The sooner the better.

2021 Megaman Valentine’s Day Contest - Rules Thread *CLOSED*
Welcome to year #14 of my mostly-annual Megaman Valentine’s Day Fanart Contest!
Two categories, in which you are allowed to submit one entry for each category, if you would like. If you place in one category, you will be automatically disqualified from the other, for reasons of fairness, and to give other people a chance to win a prize.
CATEGORY 1:  Kiss From a Rosered (Talent)
Tumblr media
Baby, I compare you to a kiss from a Rosered on Nebula Grey Ooh, the more I think of it, the stranger it feels, yeah And now here to give a rose to Split Mushroom A light hits the room on Jet Stingraaaaayyyyy~
Ba-da-da, ba-da-da-da-da-da, ba-da-da
For this category, your goal is to create a scene between the Megaman characters of your choice involving roses being given to one's Valentine. Simple enough, right? But there is a little twist. For those who don't know, the color of the rose actually has some meaning behind it. We are all used to the standard red rose as a symbol of love more than anything. But just as there are different forms of love, there are different concepts these various colors can represent, when giving someone you love flowers.
The other part of the challenge for this talent category will be your use of color in your pic. Just as you choose a color to convey meaning with this rose, and theme your scene in a similar manner, I'd also like to see you utilize this color as the strongest within your piece.
So, while I don't expect all of these submissions to be purely monochromatic, or a single hue when coloring, your goal will be to try to make your art have your rose color as the dominant color in your piece. Whether that means the characters you choose are predominantly that color too, or, they have a pallette change with their outfit/armor/etc. to echo or help contrast the color theme.
Content Requirements:
* Megaman characters of your choice giving roses to their special someone on Valentine's Day
* Utilizing the symbolism of specific rose colors within your artwork (see a list with examples here: https://www.proflowers.com/blog/rose-color-meanings) to help set the scene.
For example, if you are using purple roses, it often represents love at first sight. Your artwork should convey characters involved in a love at first sight scene.
* When coloring your art, keeping the color of the rose you chose to also be the predominant color of the piece. (This does not mean you have to stick to a single hue when coloring. You are free to be as creative as you can with this in mind!)
* Judging will take all of these content requirements into consideration, and how well you are able to mesh all of them together in your piece.
CATEGORY 2: Kawaai-rimi (Humor)
From lining store shelves this time of year, to carnival prizes, or even life-size 30th Anniversary editions, there's nothing that says love like a soft, cuddly plush character to snuggle.
One of the more memorable Mega Man plushes comes from the Battle Network series, specifically the kawarimi/anti-damage doll of Megaman.EXE. So, using that as the basis for this category, your job will be to create a Valentine's Day-themed plush of a Megaman character. But again, with a little twist.
The Megaman character of your choice is in a scenario where they need to give a gift to their sweetheart, and they need one very quick. Who pops up to help? Why, it's Shadow Man (or any ninja character from any Megaman series of your choice)! To help this character in a bind, your ninja character instantaneously produces a specially-made Valentine's kawarimi plush. Your character can then give this plush doll to his or her Valentine.
For example, a cute little Sir Crescent Grizzly bear, who just wants to hug-a-lot with his sharp claws, or a charming Toad prince, who wants to give kisses with a little tongue. Have fun thinking of funny, but cute plush concepts!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Content Requirements:
* A Megaman-related character created in Valentine's Day plush form. Draw the most clever, unique and hilarious design for this plush
* A ninja character in the scene, who can instantly produce this plush for your character who is in a bind to give a gift to his crush
* As this is the humor category, judging will be based primarily on how funny your piece is. Creativity, concept and execution may get you some points, but the focus of this category is how you make us laugh!
PRIZES:
Due to Covid still causing havoc around the world, physical prizes are going to be a little tougher, with some regions still seeing postal restrictions. So the main prizes for winners will still likely be cash, sent via Paypal.
The winners for both the Talent and Humor categories will receive the following:
1st Place: $100 USD  2nd Place: $75 USD  3rd Place: $50 USD
(...as long as I don't bankrupt myself helping with a certain auction before this...*ahem*)
PARTICIPATION PRIZE RAFFLE:
However, I am still going to try to give away 2 cels in another participation prize raffle this year. I don't want to limit this to US entrants only, although given the circumstances, it might be hard to send to certain countries. I will certainly try to send either of these worldwide. But just know it may depend on postal regulations, as the ripple effects of this awful virus continue into the following months.
In any case, when you submit, please mention which cel you would like to be entered into the raffle for.
If you draw a pic for both the Humor and the Talent Categories, you can double your chances to win! (Odds of course, depending on how many others enter and also draw two pics.) You will be able to add your name into the drawing a second time for the prize you are most interested in, or have a chance at both!
Raffle Prize #1 – Captain N Mega Man with genie lamp
Tumblr media
Raffle Prize #2 – Captain N 'Cuts Man'
Tumblr media
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
When you submit, I would prefer you to include the following information in this format, along with your entry:
• (Your name/preferred alias) – As much as I usually know who you are, there’s always someone new or somebody who has a different preference from what their email name says.
• (Category this entry is for) – You can either say 1 or 2, or Talent/Humor
• (Participation Prize Eligibility) – Again, you can say either 1 or 2, or Mega Man/Cut Man
In the event you are submitting your second entry, please specify which cel you would like your bonus chance in the raffle to be put towards.
Only submit your own work, as usual. Any character, major or minor, from any series is allowed. Pairing characters from different series is totally allowed. Same-gender pairings are completely fine. OCs are allowed, as long as your art contains at least one canon Megaman character.
As always, participants are allowed to submit from all over the world.
Paypal is still the preferred method for cash prize payouts. Please have a valid account to receive your winnings.
Youngin's, get your parents permission before entering.
Entries do not need to be fully colored, but it is preferred. The more effort put into things, as always, the better chance you have!
Entries can either be e-mailed to me at rock2125[at]hotmail[dot]com, or you can just PM/note me a link to your pic.
DO NOT post your pics in this journal, your dA galleries, Twitter, tumblr blogs, other sites, etc. until the contest is over. This is the fairest way for competitive reasons. I prefer to keep them all secret until the deadline has passed.
I'll edit a confirmed entry list in this thread when I receive them. So you won't be in the dark about whether or not I've received your entry.
DEADLINE:
The deadline for this contest will be Saturday, February 13th, 2021 by 11:59PM (global end of the day). This gives you a little more than 5 weeks to finish your entry!
MISCELLANEOUS INFO:
- As usual, If you don't plan to enter, but would like to help me judge, please let me know through DM or mention so here. Never hurts to have extra opinions on all the entries.
