So so so dirty of me but biting on Nico’s chain during sex when he’s on top of you 😩 The thought of him looking down at you and seeing you biting down on it because its so intense.
you people are going to HELL but how could i ever say no to you when he looks like this-
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
smut under the cut
god, nico was also so so vocal whilst fucking you, his words were complete filth, the way his accent would get thicker and his voice hoarse. imagine his face just above yours, jaw tense as his mouth would be so close to the shell of your ear as he encouraged you, his voice hoarse because he was trying to hold on to his own orgasm that was on the edge. but he'd always make sure you came first.
the chain he always wore dangled in front of you, teasing you, the way it was always hid by his shirt and now it was being shown to you. the feeling was so intense, obvious that his fingers were going to leave marks in your hips but he didn't care because all he could concentrate was making sure you were as full as you could be, feeling him as deep as you could. each thrust of his hips would become more intense, thighs shaking around him as he'd stare at you with these big, dark eyes, completely obsessed by how you looked beneath him, the ones you loved so deeply, that held so much expression.
his pupils were blown our with lust, his only goal to have you squirming underneath him in complete and utter ecstasy, he loved the way your back arched off of the bed, your chests touching and the way your mouth opened in a silent moan. and each noise that fell from your mouth, each time your eyes rolled back and your body would shake beneath him, every slip of his name from your lips, would only spur him on more. completely disappeared inside of you as he'd tell you that you could take more, sweet nothings being whispered in your ear.
when he’d thrown his head back, the chain had caught your eyes again, shining as it dangled around his neck, your eyes transfixed on the piece of jewellery. the hickeys you’d left earlier were blossoming on his neck, deep purple and red marks covering the base of his neck, and along his collarbone. you squeezed your eyes shut, your lips closing around the cool metal, biting down on nico’s chain.
you could feel his eyes looking down at you, opening your own as you looked up at him through your eyelashes, suppressing a moan when he dug his fingers a little harder into your skin, the groan he tried suppressing almost animalistic and one you hadn’t ever heard from him. it only further spurred him on, his hips meeting yours at a quicker pace, the sound of skin against skin accompanying the moans from both of you.
you felt the burn in your legs, tightening around his body more than before, seeing the bulge in your stomach as he buried himself inside of you, stilling his movements as he dropped his head between your shoulder, your lips falling from the chain when his connected to your neck.

Wip game: "hold" :) <3
I apologize that none of these are actually soft and fluffy, 90% of what i’ve written so far is just lando sort of lost in the sauce, but alas:
The words turn Lando young, petulant, and he’s holding his car like a stolen toy out of reach, jaw set against a warning gaze from above.
thx for asking, love u for it !

not rude at all!! i like that fic and its themes in a vacuum and obv i believe in exaggerating things for artistic funsies but at the end of the day it still reads a bit ooc to me because imo oscar is just too... realistic a person/aware of his current shortcomings and to imply he even slightly bought into the post-sprint win media noise that he might run away w the teammate battle next year... lol. oscar rates lando even if no one else does

Imitation caviar invented in the 1930s could provide the solution to plastic pollution, claims Pierre Paslier, CEO of London-based packaging company Notpla. He discovered the cheap food alternative, invented by Unilever and made using seaweed, after quitting his job as a packaging engineer at L’Oréal.
With cofounder and co-CEO Rodrigo García González, Paslier and Notpla have extended the idea, taking a protein made from seaweed and creating packaging for soft drinks, fast food, laundry detergent, and cosmetics, among other things. They’re also branching out into cutlery and paper.
“Seaweed grows quickly and needs no fresh water, land, or fertilizer,” Paslier explains. “It captures carbon and makes the surrounding waters less acidic. Some species of seaweed can grow up to a meter a day.” Best of all, he says, packaging made from seaweed is completely biodegradable because it’s entirely nature-based.
Paslier noted an amazing coincidence—Alexander Parkes invented the first plastic in Hackney Wick, the same part of East London that, 100 years later, Notpla calls home. Since Parkes’ first invention, waste plastic—especially tiny particles known as microplastics, which take hundreds or thousands of years to break down into harmless molecules—has been wreaking havoc in ecosystems across the world.
Plastic pollution is proving especially damaging in the marine environment, where tiny beads of plastic are deadly to the vital microorganisms that make up plankton and which sequester 30 percent of our carbon emissions, “without us having to build any new fancy technologies,” Paslier says.
Notpla’s plans to replace plastic began with a drink container for marathons. This is, in effect, a very large piece of fake caviar—a small pouch that contains juice or water that athletes can pop in their mouths and swallow when they need rehydration. “We wanted to create something that would feel more like fruit; packaging that you could feel comes more from picking something from a tree than off a production line,” he says.
Paslier showed pictures of two postrace streets—one where refueling came in plastic containers and one where it came in edible Notpla. The first was littered with plastic bottles; the second completely waste-free.
The next step was takeout food containers. Even containers we think are cardboard contain plastic, he says, as grease from food would make plain cardboard too soggy. Working with delivery company Just Eat, Notpla has pioneered a replacement for the per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS), the so-called “forever chemical” plastics that currently line cardboard takeout containers. It has even found a way to retrofit its solution into the old PFAS plant, so there was no need to build new factories.
The company is developing soluble sachets for detergent pods, ice-cream scoops, and even paper packing for cosmetics. And there’s plenty of seaweed to experiment with, Paslier points out. “You don’t realize it’s already available massively at scale,” he says. “It’s in our toothpaste, it’s in our beer, it’s in our reduced-fat products—so there’s an existing infrastructure that we can work with without having to build any additional processes.”

notes: number 1) this can get outdated super easily… number 2) i also dont know how to link content as i dont use tumblr alot but upon request im remaking my twitter thread here number 3) im not putting the races in chronological order as im quite lazy
at the 2019 japanese gp, max and charles hit eachother into turn two.
max after the race on the crash:
“i just dont get it. there was no need to risk so much in turn two. cause at the end of the day, both of us had to pit.”
2019 austrian gp, 3 laps left into the race max overtook charles and won the grandprix.
charles at the postrace pressconference:
“as i said, ive done exactly the same thing from the first and the second lap so i didnt expect any contact on the second lap. as max said, i think he braked a little bit deeper. i dont know if he lost it or not but then there was the contact. i felt like i was quite strong in traction. on the first attempt i managed to have better traction and have my position. on the second one i couldnt do that cause i was off track.”
2019 silverstone gp, the race right after austria. max and charles closely battled for 10 laps straight
charles during the postrace press conference:
“the best move was probably the one on max, on the outside in copse, i think he just passed me and i passed him back around the outside of copse. i think that was definitely was one of the most exciting (moves) of the race… of my race!”
2020 sakhir gp, charles crashed into checo, forcing max to go wide and then also crash
max post race:
“i respect charles alot, hes a great driver but i think today was a bit too much. he asked me “what happened?” and i say “what do you mean “what happened” you crashed into sergio and i have to go around”. i think he will look back at the footage and i hope he will understand that that was maybe a bit too aggressive. which is a shame.”
charles on the beyond the grid podcast 2021, talking about his rivalry with max:
“its the same (their rivalry) at the moment its obviously a little bit deminished because i can not fight against him, unfortunately. but if you look at the fight in silverstone 2019, i think you can understand theres quite a bit of competition and its always been the case. i mean its nice; we have grown up together in karting weve been always fighting eachother and now we find ourselves again in formula 1. so its great and i cant wait to put the team back were it deserves to be and fight against max for the title.”
monaco gp 2021, during Q3 charles crashes which means max cant set a laptime
max postrace interview:
“he just clipped the wall initially and ended up where ive ended up twice [laughs] so its just unfortunate. ofcourse i am disappointed not to have a shot at pole but thats life, you know. sometimes you cant do it. i mean its fine, i dont think his lap should be deleted in the future if they want to make rule changes. i dont that would be fair.”
charles instagram post after the 2021 silverstone gp yes i am counting it too:
Tumblr media
max saying he prefers his rivalry with charles over the one he has with lewis, 2022
max to sky italy:
"i prefer what we have now because, first of all, charles i know very well, hes a nice guy, we are a similar age… on saturday night, we even had a laugh in paul ricard... we are hard competitors on the track and we will always try to beat each other, which i think is very normal, but outside of it you can have a good time as well, and thats what i really enjoy about this year."
max debunking that charles never forgave him for austria 2019 and racing together with him, 2022
max in a video interview:
"i never speak about these things with other drivers, i mean, it happens. ive lost wins as well, and its not the end of the world, you move on. i think charles is one of the most talented drivers in formula 1, and he will win many more races… i would say back in the day it was a little bit more difficult, but also we were very young and growing up and you are fighting for the same goal, right? now that youre in formula 1, i think it is really different. you are representing really big brands. so we get on very well now. we can have a good chat and enjoy our battles, and i think thats very nice. knowing each other for such a long time helps. weve spent so much time together, in a way."
2022 hungarian gp, max told the hungarian press he understands charles his frustration after the 2022 french gp
max to the hungarian press:
“everyone handles that (their disappointment) in a different way. some people need to reflect on it like that. at the time youre still a bit emotional from what just happened and maybe become a bit too emotional, but thats fine, people should be emotional, they should show their emotions."
charles on fighting with italian site corriere della sera, 2022 this is not an official translation sorry but i can link the source
charles:
“i like to deal with max, we have a similar level of aggression. we have fun, with respect. im not saying that last year there was no respect between max and lewis, but it seemed like a different duel than ours. but if we were to get to the end of the championship very close in points, the situation would be much more tense than it is now.”
max, also for corriere della sera in 2022
max:
“i have known charles since we were five years old, we are of the same generation and we grew up challenging ourselves on the track.”
max to viaplay, 2023 after charles crashed during Q3 of the miami gp, meaning he couldnt set a time and had to start from P8 (this is a livetranslation of mine post qualifying, so the quote isnt 100% spot on but you get the gist)
max:
“the red flag was annoying, but it happens on streetcircuits. it just sucks, i will have to cope and move on.”
monaco gp, charles had an interview with canal+ for its 10 year anniversary with formula 1. he got asked to name 10 drivers hes the closest with
charles:
“pierre without a doubt, carlos, lando, george, alex albon, yuki, lewis, max aswell eventhough most people dont think its the case but it is! esteban, and lance.”
this is it for now, i am a bit tired but thank the tumblr lords you can change posts later on so i can update it with ease later on. enjoys besties 🫡

NASCAR is Kinda Maybe Vaguely Doing Something and People Are Mad About It
In a race weekend of rain, delays, and Stewart Haas cars hitting the barriers every five minutes, the biggest story coming out of the NASCAR Chicago Street Race seems to be this crossover EV prototype...and people are mad at it.
Well, people are also mad that Bubba Wallace steered race winner Alex Bowman into the wall after the race, but one: a NASCAR driver getting mad and bumping into someone else after the race is a non-story, two: the same people that are mad at Bubba are probably the same people that are mad about the EV prototype.
So, at the Chicago Street Race, NASCAR finally unveiled the EV prototype that everyone already knew about - they were going to unveil it at the LA Coliseum preseason race but then they didn't because that race also saw rain and they ended up truncating the weekend - so how did they do this?
Did they announce it was going to replace one of the three national touring series? Maybe trucks since, you know, trucks and crossovers are both big.
Or maybe the Xfinity cars, since those are still a generation behind and Ford and Chevy just run the same models there as in Cup, so maybe a crossover for that series would make sense.
Or maybe start out with a new, more standalone series on street courses or something, sorta like a stock car version of Formula E.
Well, no, they did none of that.
Quite literally all they did was having the car speed off from a standing start and talk about some of the specs.
It's a 1300 hp car designed in collaboration with Ford, Chevy, and Toyota, David Ragan has been the test driver, and it was to promote a new collaboration agreement between NASCAR and ABB - who is also the title sponsor of ABB. That's all it was.
And yet, NASCAR fans are acting like these things are gonna replace Cup for next year. It's a dramatic overreaction.
I'm not even particularly a fan of EVs. I enjoy the noise and power coming from a car and I think that EVs - particularly Teslas and wannabe Teslas like the Ford Mustang Mach E - are deliberately garish, bulbously proportioned, and expensive props that the driver uses to convey how much more environmentally conscious and morally superior they are to the average driver.
So yeah, to a degree I understand why the "core" NASCAR fan or whatever may not agree with that message.
But...they're not even doing anything with it. It's a promotional piece for NASCAR to take to corporate events and all that.
The closest NASCAR is to an EV series is that there was also talk about them partnering with Dana White to invest in Nitrocross, an EV rallycross series that Conor Daly raced in once.
Even if NASCAR did launch an EV national series, you could just, you know, not watch it. I don't pay attention to Formula E or MotoE despite having long been an F1 fan and currently being a MotoGP fan.
It's just weird to see this very weak, very minor gesture from NASCAR and there being this vicious backlash towards it. I'm the kind of person that gets vaguely disappointed every time I find out a new performance car has some sort of hybrid element to it, so do you have any idea how off-base you need to be for me to disagree with your anger on this?
It's just such a nothing storyline, calm down.
Elsewhere in the Chicago Street Race weekend, the Xfinity race was pretty great actually, another SVG win and some cool battles between him, Gibbs, and Larson throughout, so that was nice. The Cup race was pretty good when it was running but that long rain delay did kinda suck a lot of the energy out of it. Plus, SVG getting speared by an out-of-control Briscoe was pretty lame.
Especially since Chase Briscoe and Josh Berry in their SHR cars would basically spend the whole second half of the race hitting the barriers and/or going off every five or so laps.
Oh, and postrace, Bubba Wallace banged doors with Alex Bowman while Chase Elliott banged doors with Daniel Suarez because, once again, this is NASCAR and that's just the kind of stuff that happens in NASCAR. People are only mad when Bubba does it though. Odd. I wonder if there's a certain thing about Bubba that leads to him being on the receiving take of all this bad faith criticism...
Other than that, Indycar had its hybrid era start at Mid-Ohio in a race that started off boring but ended in Pato O'Ward holding off Alex Palou to take the win for Arrow McLaren.
Something much appreciated since, earlier in the day, McLaren was running 1-2 in the British Grand Prix until they kept Oscar out on slicks on a wet track to lose second, and then switched Norris onto the wrong tyres once things dried up.
And then there was MotoGP. Pecco Bagnaia was chasing down Jorge Martin in the closing stages, Martin first in the championship, Pecco second after dominating the last two race weekends to chip away at Martin's lead. Martin is feeling the pressure, feels he needs to win to stop the bleeding, but just pushes too hard into turn one, the bike slides out from under him, and Pecco goes through to win.
Marc Marquez, the man who beat Jorge Martin to be Bagnaia's 2025 Ducati teammate, came through in second, his brother Alex Marquez in third, and Enea Bastianini - Bagnaia's current teammate - came through in fourth. After the Spanish GP sprint, Jorge Martin was forty-two points ahead of Bagnaia, as recently as after the Catalan GP, that gap was thirty-nine points, now? Bagnaia leads by ten.
Pecco won the Catalan GP main race, swept both races at Mugello, both races at Assen, finished third behind Martin and Miguel Oliveira at the German GP sprint, but then won the German GP main race as Martin crashed out to take the championship lead. Truly a tremendous four race run from Bagnaia.
Keep in mind, nobody won back-to-back main races at all in 2023! Pecco just won four in a row.
This is why I love MotoGP so much, it still has that drama, that magic, that I find so many series lack these days.
Unfortunately, it's schedule is also crap, so MotoGP is off until August 4th. Fuck.
NASCAR at Pocono and Indycar's double race weekend at Iowa will hopefully provide some entertainment next weekend. Now I just need to hope I don't die of MotoGP withdrawal in the meantime...wish me luck.

alex saying to dazn that he did talk with pecco after the postrace interviews, he just thinks maybe they decided to talk way too late and all that mess could’ve been avoided but they indeed did talk to each other at the end and did it in the most honest way possible with nobody of each others teams being present and now it’s a close chapter for them both

REDDICK IS MY CURRENT TOP NEMESIS. 😂 (But I'm replying in this fashion because I feel like I need to explain myself and need more than 140 characters.)
I have tried *so egregiously hard* to be a Reddick fan. FOR YEARS. Years!!
Reasons I should be a Reddick fan:
He's from California! Me too! I love Californian drivers! (or try to)
He comes from a dirt background! I love dirt racing!
I rooted for him in Xfinity!
He's part of a team I like! Go 23XI!
His cat died the night of one of his Xfinity championships, which is super sad and is, for some reason, always something I remember about him.
Demeanor-wise, he's a really good guy! Passionate, thoughtful, funny.
(But being a "really good guy" has never kept someone from being a nemesis. I really like Brad out of the car, and I think Joey as a person is phenomenal. I've always found Cindric and Chase Elliott's senses of humor very much to my taste. CBell's probably never done anything wrong in his entire life. These people have all been Top Nemesis at some point or another.)
So when time came to start choosing Youth Generation (Youth Generation 1.5? If Chase/Blaney/Bubba/Danny/WB etc. are 1.0) drivers I wanted to root for, Reddick seemed like a natural pick. Even if it meant rooting for RCR.
Then I saw him win in person. Crickets from my heart.
And frankly, being a reflection of/resurgence of the whole Oscar Piastri and Alex Palou contract sagas should only have improved his appeal, in moving from RCR to 23XI. Silliest season.
Any time he's won, actually. Any time he's been in contention to win. Zero feeling. Zero to negative, in fact.
I've found myself rooting for Joey over him!! JOEY. (I have seen Joey win two championships and I will die if I have to witness a third any time soon, especially if Denny goes out with *zero*--and I'd still root for Joey over Reddick at Phoenix.)
During the Nashville postrace, Reddick offered a devastated interview and I did not feel bad for him at all. Whereas I felt super bad for Ross Chastain, my nominal and long-time Nemesis, after his devastated interview.
I was reasoning this through with @the-kings-tail-fin in the car, and I was like, I feel like part of this might actually be because I like Kurt Busch more than Tyler Reddick, so the 45 was cooler BEFORE; and I like Bubba Wallace more than Tyler Reddick, so I want him to be the best 23XI car, which means rooting against Reddick. And we were like, yeah, that makes sense. I mean, by real-world logic it doesn't. But by sports world logic it does!!!!!
So I thought, well, the facts can't lie, here. Tyler Reddick is my new Top Nemesis. I have no choice. The NASCAR whims have spoken. And so here we are.
TOP NEMESIS TYLER REDDICK

Rivals on track and one bed trope with teammate!driver (could be absolutely anyone) where for a gp they accidentally *wink wink* booked you and the other driver into one hotel room with a double bed/queen bed and there's no other rooms available *shocked gasp* so you have to endure your stuck up, insufferable teammate for an entire weekend.
After quali on saturday you're both back in the room, making little quips at eachother while getting ready for bed, kinda agitating the other about how you're gonna place higher in the race and all that, just teasing to build tension.
Both of you are now under the covers, backs turned to each other when you ask them why they dislike you so much, because ever since you joined the team they've been standoffish with you while being so kind to everyone else. You hear the sheets russtle behind you, but you stay turned away as they whisper that they were just scared of getting close to you and then having to get a new teammate if you don't get a contract renewal at the end of the season (this could work well with max, like maybe she's the one signed after pierre and alex) and so they didn't want to get close to you.
You confess that his behavior made you feel unwelcome and like you didn't fit as his teammate and he apologises for making you feel that way. You both then decide to fall asleep bc the race is tomorrow and you are still determined to beat the other
(I think we all know what i'm gonna type next, it's so cliche and i'm sorry but i HAVE to) you wake up feeling all warm and well rested, and snuggle further into your pillow, wanting that extra 5 minutes before getting ready, when you feel the blanket tighten around you. Only it's not your blanket, but your teammate.
Your teammate who is nuzzling his face into your hair, your teammate who has a small smile on his face, your teammate who looks so relaxed and pretty and soft while sleeping, and you're internally freaking out bc you're cuddling with your teammate.
Your movements wake him up, and still in a sleepy daze, he just makes eye contact with you, smiles a little bit wider, and holds you closer to him. It takes him a few seconds to click the position that you're in, and ge goes rigid.
You both decide to talk about this after the race, but then you both place on the podium and it's just awkward in the cooldown room, on the podium self and in the postrace interview, and then while getting ready for the afterparty that the team organised, you're both back at the hotel, finally able to talk it out
(i feel like i've typed wayyy too much i'm so sorry😹)
🐣
OBSESSED OBSESSED OBSESSED
no because imagine the tension after the race when they are at the club? or even getting ready for the club? and it's all been bubbling between you both and neither of you know what to say and maybe he panics like, "we can talk about it tomorrow"
but then you are drunk in a club and he is dancing close to her, maybe has an arm around her and before he can say anything, she is turning her head back to kiss him
and they both know they need to talk things out. they need to talk about the miscommunication and the tension, but for tonight, you just give in to the attraction and the need to feel each other🫠
