It's the last one, folks. For to build a home, anyway. Everything I could share from here on out is spoilery as hell, and I'm hoping that, by this time next week, the last chapter will already be out in the world.

He'd had three daughters. And though he was a natural-born vaquero, he made a terrible businessman, and had been on brink of ruin when the trio of hijas he'd raised on horseback — Luciana, Fernanda, and Beatriz, the last barely out of her teens — had insisted on taking the reins. By the time the first Reyes boy in two generations was born, baby Gabriel, the ranch was three times the size and thriving. Carlos had grinned, taking his hand off the gearshift so he could take TK's with it, to kiss the only part of him he could. "That's the joke.
