Why We Cancelled Prayer Ministry
Discover how our prayer ministry transformation revitalized our church. By integrating prayer into all activities, we've fostered growth and deeper spiritual engagement. Learn more about our journey. #Prayer #PrayerMeeting #PrayerMinistry #ChurchGrowth
Transforming the Tradition of ‘Prayer Meetings’. For many years, we tried to establish a separate “Prayer Ministry” in our local church, but it never gained substantial traction. As long as I can remember, prayer meetings and ministries lacked enthusiasm, yet we kept pushing them. We realized a prayer ministry transformation was needed. Perhaps your experience has been different, but we often…

Matthew 28:19-20 (NASB). “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
“Jesus’ Enduring Presence” by In Touch Ministries:
“The Savior who died for you will stay by you.”
“Life can feel like a complicated puzzle sometimes, with lots of uncertainties and challenges. But here’s the good news: Jesus tells us in today’s passage that He’s always with us, no matter what. His presence is like a reliable compass, guiding us in the right direction as we navigate the twists and turns of life.
Experiencing God’s presence isn’t just about attending church each week or being part of a monthly Bible study group; it’s a daily thing. As we consistently draw close to Him, He draws near to us (James 4:8).
If you’ve ever had a trustworthy friend who was faithful to walk with you in tough times, you know just how invaluable such companionship can be. And Jesus is the greatest and most loving friend we could ever have—guiding, comforting, and giving us strength. In His presence, we can find peace, courage, and the assurance that we’re never alone.
Take the words of Matthew 28:20 to heart. As we go through life, remember that Jesus is always there. Whether things are going well or not, in the everyday and the extraordinary moments, His presence is our constant. He’s with us always, even to the end of the age.”

[Image Text: Please, please, please, if you even so much as glance at this post - share it for us and help us storm heaven!!! Our little girl needs a miracle and I beg any and every one of you to pray, pray, pray! Even if you don't know how to pray, please just ask God to heal Vianney’s brain. Now is the time for her miracle. We are devastated. Ever since we first found out about her diagnosis of left hemimegalencephaly, we have been praying and asking you all to pray that her right brain be spared. And you have shown up and helped us pray for this intention! All along the doctors have told us how strong and beautiful her right brain looked. However, this all changed sometime in the night between Friday and Saturday. At a time when we thought we were in the clear and were actually making plans to go home in a couple of weeks (!), something happened. The doctors can't explain it, they are looking into every avenue, as this was completely unexpected and unexplainable. She was awake. She was breathing on her own. She was moving. Shad was with her Friday night and video chatted me and I could not wait to see her the next day, finally alert! But suddenly very early that morning she took a turn and stopped responding. That's when her seizures started and they were indeed coming from the right side this time, due to whatever injury the right side sustained. They said her injury looks consistent with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy but none of her vitals ever changed and her labs have remained great. There is truly no explanation at this time. My heart is broken. I cry out to God to understand why, in this final moment, when we were so close to her recovery, did this happen? I am trusting in Him with all my might and KNOW in my heart and soul that He is loving her far greater than I, but oh man I am absolutely broken. She has lost 40-60% of function in her right brain. Even typing it out and reading it in this post is too cruel to bear. They don't expect that she is in dire life threatening circumstances yet but they also can't say that her brain won't be injured further - since we still don't have a cause. Even if she survives all of this and is able to come home, we don't yet know what kind of life our little, beautiful perfect girl will have with only 25% of her brain. At this point, the most basic expectation is that she will not be able to walk or talk along with many other difficulties. She is outside of what they can do (other than trying to prevent more damage) and is truly in God's hands now. I told our priest yesterday before we got the full news - perhaps God is giving us the most dire of circumstances to give us the most miraculous of recoveries. In a world that needs to witness a miracle more than ever, I am praying to God that He show us one now. Please, please, please, keep praying for our Vianney - that her brain is completely healed and she can defy all medical expectations. And if now is the time for a miracle, then we are asking you to also beg for the prayers of the Blessed Ulma family. Soon I will share more about this incredible family, but for now we are asking them to pray along with us for our little Vianney’s miracle!]
Please storm heaven for my friend's little girl! 🙏

Prayer for the Intercession of the Ulma Family
Almighty and eternal God,
We thank You for the testimony of the heroic love of the spouses Józef and Wiktoria with their children, who gave their lives to save persecuted Jews.
May their prayers and example support families in Christian life and help everyone to follow the true path of holiness.
Lord, if it is in accordance with Your will, kindly grant the grace for the complete healing of little Vianney, for which we are asking You through their intercession and count them among the Blessed.
Through Christ Our Lord
Amen
Our Father…, Hail Mary…, Glory Be…

actually I think the thing about being a youth leader is that 25% of it is teaching about God, 25% is playing fun games, and more than that though 50% of it is making a safe space for kids to be. not to try and make them believe, not so they'll be open or anything. just. a 100% no stakes, safe place for them to just BE. whatever else comes after that. and I don't just mean physically safe, two-adults-in-the-room-at-all-times, et cetera. I mean emotionally safe. I mean not hitting them over the head with scripture, not trying to help them feel better or any particular way. just... a no-judgment, emotionally safe place to exist as kids.

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the Lord.
1 The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.
5 Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
6 Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast.
7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise. — Psalm 36 | BRG Bible (BRG) Blue Red and Gold Letter Edition™ Copyright © 2012 BRG Bible Ministries. AT THY WORD!
AT THY WORD
Luke 5:1-7

Our text presents Peter’s famous response to the Master’s instruction: “At Thy word, I will let down the net.” The Christian life is a constant walk of faith, where we don’t second-guess ourselves or analyse every instruction, but firmly grasp the Word and apply it to our situations.
How many times has the Lord given us instructions that we thought were silly, unusual, or too mundane to make a difference? We often react in superior ways in certain situations and with most people. Imagine how Peter must have felt when this non-fisherman told him - the seasoned, expert, professional fisherman - how to do his job, a job he had been doing for a long time.
We pray, fast, and wait for an answer, a breakthrough, and a miracle. But often, when the answer comes, we disobey the instruction because it didn’t match our expectations or meet what we thought was our need.
Sometimes, even if our head knowledge says no to the instruction before us, we take God at His Word and Promises. Naaman was so desperate to be healed from leprosy, yet when Prophet Elisha told him what to do in 2 Kings 5, he got angry and questioned the authenticity of the God of Israel.
We ask the Lord to touch us, reveal Himself to us, and use us. But when He tells us what He requires from us, the sacrifices it would entail, rather than say “at Thy word, Lord,” we shy away from the instruction.
Like Peter, many of us think we know what we want and how to get it without considering that the Lord may have a better, simpler, and more productive way of helping us achieve that goal.
We have toiled all night - a situation that sounds like many of us who have several jobs but without the desired fruit. All labour is fruitless where the blessing of God is not, especially in ministry. It is the presence and influence of Christ in a congregation, ministry, home, family, business, and personal life that causes the increase and establishes growth. Without Him, whatever effort we put in or abilities we have may result in an all-night of fruitless labour.
Jesus told Simon Peter to let down his nets, but Peter’s response was partial obedience - “At Thy word, I will let down the net.” We must remember that the Lord provides our needs before they arise - the Word had gone out and will not return to the Master empty according to Isaiah 55:11. The fish heard the instructions to enter the “nets” but saw one net which they all swarmed into, thereby breaking the net.
This act of partial obedience resulted in a net-breaking, boat-sinking load of fish, which was a blessing indeed, but it also showed that Peter’s faith and obedience were not complete. He trusted Jesus, but perhaps not completely. Maybe he doubted the practicality of letting down all the nets, or maybe he was hesitant to invest all his resources based on Jesus’s word.
The Lord may not be a professional in your field, but He is still the authority on all things and the Word of God, able to control creation at command and knows all things. He knows where all the best things you need are. Listen to Him.
The Lord will never give us anything we can’t carry, manage, or handle. When He tells us to let down our nets, let’s be sure to say, “at Thy word, Lord, I will let down my nets.” This way, you are not only prepared but also able to carry that blessing, favour, promotion, and harvest.
In our own lives, we might be tempted to partially obey God’s instructions, picking and choosing what we want to follow based on our own understanding or convenience. But this story encourages us to fully obey, trusting that God’s plans for us are good.
At Thy word, Lord.
PRAYER: Father, help me to be fully and completely obedient to your word, to follow your instructions and go at your command in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Shalom

Father God, in your son's name I ask you please to see to your children so that we would minister to the hurt and the suffering. That you would break me down so that I'd be made into a bold, loving, Christ-like servant.
Dear Lord, please, I don't want to keep living in the house of Mirth. I want to be useful.
In Jesus's Holy name, amen.

John 17:20-21 (NASB). “I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.”
“Parting Words: Jesus Prays for Us” —by In Touch Ministries:
“Before going to the cross, our Savior prayed for the disciples—and He included us too.”
“After washing His disciples’ feet and commissioning them to go out into the world—not as conquering kings but as loving servants—Jesus shared His intimate thoughts. He helped them see what this task would look like and the type of troubles they’d face. He helped the men understand what “kingdom of God” meant and why He must leave them for a while. He promised that while He was gone, the Comforter would be with them. And though Jesus said they’d certainly have trouble, He then encouraged them, for He had overcome the world.
Can you imagine sitting at that table, eating that dinner, and looking into Jesus’ eyes as He broke the bread, drank the wine, and shared from His heart?
Then, Jesus prayed one last time for His friends. And not only that—amazingly, He also prayed for all who would believe based on their word (John 17:20). Friend, that means you. That means everyone who’s trusted in Him—Jesus was praying for us, and we have His very words. What could be more precious?
On that terrible night—Jesus’ last night before dying—the one thing He asked was for us to remain unified. For us to be knit together in love so the entire world would recognize Jesus in us. It is a sacred invitation, as important today as it was then.”
