In both of the PMMM games I've been aware of (MR and ME) she's been put into the role of an attacker, but I don't think that quite fits.

like, yeah she's got guns and military weaponry and is cool as hell, but even in the latest timelines she was never able to beat walpurgistnacht on her own. I see wally as more of a metaphorical battle than a literal one in some ways- it can only be defeated via Madoka's death- but regardless.

I think it'd make more sense for her to either be a defense unit (her weapon is a shield and she wants to protect madoka), Support, or Debuffer (both things that she's very good at with her time stop powers)

Because she wants to be able to defeat any enemy in a single blow. she's worked so, so hard to become an attacker. But she's just not.

At the end of the day, she'll never be able to measure up to someone who's just got better stats.

audrey redheart wandersong drives me so insane it’s sickening. i make myself sick thinking about that freak. and i could talk about the obvious stuff- like how she wanted to be a hero to be revered and by the end of the game no one even thinks about her anymore- but i’m going deeper than that.

audrey was a bad hero. not because she’s immoral (even though she is) and not because she’s self centered (even though she is). but she straight up does not have the necessary skills for the task at hand.

audrey can’t speak the shapes-and-colors language of the overseers. granted, kiwi couldn’t either, at first, but that was easily resolved by an overseer, and eyala probably could have done the same thing, too. miriam canonically studied and learned the language just like anyone else would learn any other language.

but audrey doesn’t know it. whatever the overseers say is just colorful nonsense to her… you would think it would be pretty helpful to a heroic quest to be able to understand the language of your opponents.

but if you’re not supposed to know what you’re doing, it makes sense not to be able to glean any context from the ‘monsters’ you’re killing, doesn’t it?

audrey’s meant to be a high society big shot, but she can’t even recognize what a potion of power is supposed to look like?

kiwi sees her as a cold blooded killer, but when she’s deprived of her sword, she can’t even improvise?

audrey skips over overseers (like going to the queen of winds after chapter 3, when for all intents and purposes it’d be easier to do them in the same order kiwi’s doing them in), and the more you think about it, it really does seem like she was barred from encountering the overseers at all until kiwi freed up the nexus point first.

if audrey was a hero- The Hero- shouldn’t she have been able to do that herself??

audrey isn’t a hero. or, at least, she wasn’t chosen to be a hero. because if a hero was chosen, things wouldn’t have gone to plan. they would have stopped.

audrey didn’t have to be a hero. she just had to be isolated, cynical, desperate for attention, and obedient enough to follow orders without asking questions.

I'm weirdly protective of ricken. I hate how he's treated both in world and by the audience. I think the most authentic and fair treatment he gets is by the innies they read his book and take what he is trying to write about in good faith. ricken is flawed in ways people like to condescend to. we love to ridicule a "faux intelectual" because it makes us feel smart. if we can "identify" the idiots—and better yet, if we can identify the idiots who don't know they're idiots—then surely WE aren't idiots, right? sure, ricken thinks highly of himself. but he's shown himself to be kind, he's shown himself to have a desire to be a loving father. how did someone like devon end up with someone like ricken? it might just be because he's a good and likable person and devon is loving and kind and likes these things about him. there are worse things than being someone who is unself-aware and occasionally annoying about it

the thing is that to me kinger IS naturally a very silly person. like light or dark, hes a naturally goofy person- it just gets incorporated into his more erratic behavior in the light. i think theres an assumption that hes naturally calmer and that this comes out in the dark, but imo the only reason hes being so calm and gentle in ep 3 is cus pomnis Freaking The Fuck Out and hes worried about her (...probably worsened bc hes SEEN many times how that ends if left to fester :[ ). i said it before but one of the first things he does after pomnis just been thru smth deeply traumatic is to make a joke about his computer science bg (and when she Doesnt seem to even notice it he stops and changes his approach). and even still, even earlier in the ep like when the thunder takes the lights out (i wonder how the others managed at that part?) hes a little better at remembering things ("i just remembered a really funny joke!") but still a tad jumpy and prone to saying goofy things (but notably doesnt get startled by the angel. like at all. even BEFORE it reminds him of his wife). it makes me wonder if some of them werent genuinely attempts to keep the mood light for pomni or if he genuinely thought the sounds could be from magnets. or a boat

I think if marcille opened her mind a little beyond her mild butchphobia she'd honestly find postcanon more masc-presenting Falin SO hot like... Falin travelling the world and bringing her gifts from faraway countries, climbing in through her window late at night upon return to see her before anyone else. Literally the prince of Marcille's dreams if only she could see it. She's not quite there yet but she'll get it eventually I believe in her.

I'm gonna be real with you I align more with grunge and emo than I do with punk like it's all about creativity and personal expression outside of the societal norm (thus the umbrella term "alternative") but for me it's less creativity and expression as a form of rebellion, more of creativity and expression as necessary for survival
