Well, yeah, he's gone many times, but this year he definitely went to feed another filler article to the tabloids to keep his name in the papers.
We're really not used to his team buying the premium tabloid package, and Louis going to events/being seen in public for the sole purpose of feeding tabloids and get engagement. We're so used to it with H, but not with L. If the press now suddenly wants to lick his ass for access, and clicks from his fans, then by all means continue. Louis needs good press, even if it's exaggerated, eyeroll-worthy and paid for praise. H does the exact same thing.
Whatever it is that he's currently doing, having the tabloids and press on his side is never a bad thing.

Ceasefires in this part of the world are like cheap New Year’s resolutions; often broken by breakfast. With Iran’s nuclear program bruised, 400kg of enriched uranium on the loose, and whispers of Pakistan eyeing a nuclear handoff, let’s cut through the fog with a cynical squint.
U.S. Strikes: Fordow Obliterated? On June 21, U.S. B-2 stealth bombers unleashed 30,000-pound bunker-busters on Iran’s Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear sites, per Reuters.
