Hey, do you have any good ff7 blogs to follow bc I'm new to the fandom and I'm having some trouble finding good ones

I forget to follow a lot of my favorites blogs (because I’m a dumbass who forgets I have a dash frequently lol), but off the top of my head…

priceofreedom and fyeahshinrasoldiers are good general Crisis Core/FF7 blogs

aimeelouart makes a lot of cute Crisis Core/FF7 art + writes really good time travel Cloud fanfics

birdblacksocialclub and sekka-o0 make gorgeous Crisis Core/FF7 fanart

thechocobros is a good general Kingdom Hearts+Final Fantasy+anime blog

onewinged-sephiroth, lockescoles, ffxvcaps, and nibelreactor make super pretty FF7 (+other) gifs

That’s certainly not all of them, and a lot of blogs I like but didn’t add are kinda like me (read: post a lot about ff7 but aren’t strictly ff7 blogs), but I’m not home right now and will try and add more when I get a chance!

🚨 FF7 Gifs being stolen on Twitter again

I hate to report this to Final Fantasy VII community on Tumblr but I found a user on Twitter going by Aerispoyo stealing gifs from me and my friends. They were even removing the watermarks on a few as well and pushed back rudely when I called them out for taking mine and others.

Here is two I have identified and they only removed my Zerith set as I was the original creator and has said they will remove the others if they are approached by the creators themselves. I recognized work from @priceofreedom + @simnes + @bolina + @firstlovetifa on their profile.

Please thoroughly check this profile on Twitter to have your gifs removed and block them. They like to take gifs of mostly Aerith Gainsborough and do not want to understand how this is not cool to do. The first excuse was they got it from a private discord server saving gifs before admitting they took it to just share pictures they did it create of their favorite character. Then pushed back I was spreading lies about them.

Again, I do not like my gifs to be reposted without credit or even a link back and neither do many of my friends this community. I’ve been starting to watermark lately but I’ve missed it a few times. Still, stealing gifs is not right to do.

Edit: I was requesting MORE OF MY GIFS to be removed and they have blocked me. I cannot identify the user on Tumblr to block them here.

Because I love Zack Fair very much uwu. and also bc the canon url wasn’t available ajsgjkasdg

I used to run maaany side blogs but now I only run two: a Yakuza one (kiryusjudgement) and a FF7 one (priceofreedom). I have them because I adore both the Yakuza saga and the FF7 game and I don’t want to reblog posts on my main blog like crazy, so I have two separate blogs where I can reblog to my heart’s content without feeling annoying lol.

3: How long have you been on tumblr? 

Since 2012... it’s been 80 years.

4: Do you have a queue tag? 

I haven’t used the queue for the longest time but when I did I simply tagged “queue”.

5: Why did you start your blog in the first place? 

I remember following MCR fans on twitter and they constantly promoted their tumblr blogs, so I got interested, created an account and I’ve been here ever since lol.

6: Why did you choose your icon/pfp? 

Hades’ Meg............. pwwetty.............. and i’m not immune to strong blue lady.

7: Why did you choose your header? 

Because it’s Bayonetta and the background is blue and I love both (?)

I think it’s this one I made in my now deleted cartoon side blog

I’d say I check tumblr 4 or 5 times a day (when i’m not busy ofc). There’s not much to see nowadays tho :(

It has never happened on my main blog if I recall correctly, but I had random people just tell me “i don’t like you” out of nowhere on two of my side blogs lol. Also I argued with someone (and later blocked them) because they requested me a gifset (and were VERY meticulous on how I should do it) and when I was done they uploaded the whole gifset to their twitter without crediting me. That made me so furious.

15: How do you feel about “you need to reblog this” posts? 

I ignore them unless I actually wanna reblog it.

16: Do you like tag games? 

Yes, they are fun~ if only tumblr notified me :) i always notice i’ve been tagged in something by chance lol.
