idk if we still sharin primate plushies but i bought this wild republic orang in a frenzy because he is the only orangutan plush i've seen with flanges!!! He finally arrived today and im so happy! His name is Jinga (Malay for Orange.. i think) (ps i am not choking him, i am holding gently like hamburger)

Various ape paraphernalia is accumulating in my room and I've come to realize it's starting to look a little absurd. I have about 5 different orangutan plushies and a gorilla plushie (mostly gifts from friends), two orangutan figures, multiple books about apes, an orangutan calendar, pictures of primates up in my room, three monkey stress toys, about 3-4 orangutan shirts that I wear regularly, and 5 little carvings of various orangutans and chimpanzees. I'm not complaining, though.

🐾 My theriantype is a dog.. the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel... my small age is 5-7 years old. I have a dog hyperfixation, you can always talk to me about dogs whenever you want to.

May I ask how you came to choose a monkey as your fursona? I almost never see monkey fursonas.

From a young age I’ve always vibed with them. I used to play Animal Jam all the time, and my main avatar would usually be a monkey. I also collect plushies and toys of monkeys. I’ve had different species of fursona like wolf, cat, or dragon, but I connect with monkeys the most :)💓

And now most of my OCs are monkeys/primates lol

another "running" dream

it started with getting clocked from a plushie maker i commissioned. she was transphobic and i felt sick

then i sat at an outside area with a younger version of a former friend. i felt uncomfortable around him and left, which provoked an aggrieved entitlement tantrum.

then, i ran. but, i went the wrong way, and cop-like figures approached. the other runners were distracted, so i slipped away and managed to escape. climbing cars, escaping offensive caricatures, i found my way to the streets.

i followed a sign floating in the air. it spelled out "FIRST" and each letter was made of a different primate. i assumed it was some kind of convention, somewhere to disappear.

i never found out, because i woke up then. the dream was vivid, and i couldn't tell i wasn't awake.
