UPDATE 2/23/24: Since this post sometimes gets reblogs - the 1st Prints For Palestine auction has ENDED! Plans are in the works for another one in the future, but no date yet as far as I know. But Jules Zuckerberg, one of the main organizers, has been running a Pins 4 Palestine donation drive that still has some pins left!
This baby remained under the rubble for six hours. Read it again. By some miracle, he survived and he was rescued. But his mother who was holding him didn't. He looks like he's in shock, you can see tears coming out of his eyes but no expression or any sound to indicate his pain.
I drew this last week at school for a gallery opening. The symbol of Handala is really poignant to me, and I try to keep him in my thoughts. Free Palestine and all other colonized nations forever and always, and dismantle the forces of Western Imperialism.
So you know how we’re all reading the EDAs on that crappy pdf torrent / archive that’s been going around for over a decade (that’s when I first got mine)?
I, simply, cannot read poorly formatted books. I absolutely cannot.
So I’ve been creating new ePubs of the books for use in eReaders. I’m having a blast doing it.
If anyone wants them, or really any of the out of print DW books from that torrent, let me know, and I’ll put that book at the front of my queue. I’d love to help the fandom out with my ADHD super power to enjoy tedious monotony, as long as it relates to my hyperfocus.
See also my Listening Order post lol.
EDIT: linked it here since the post with the link isn’t being reblogged as much.
EDIT 2: If you'd like to help, or just hang out, I made a Discord for the project.

it's an 8-page linocut & 3d-printed relief plate zine that was printed via letterpress by me; here are the spreads. all proceeds go to Medical Aid for Palestinians. much love & thank you to those of you who organized and contributed.
I learned about the Glia Project today and wanted to share-- it's an organization that designs and manufactures open-source, low-cost medical devices for access in impoverished areas (or, in Gaza's case, when blockades make it impossible to simply import these supplies). Its founder is Palestinian-Canadian doctor Tarek Loubani, who designed the 3D printable stethoscope in 2015.
Right now (until Jan. 31, 2024), there's a fundraiser to benefit Glia's staff in Gaza, who have all been displaced by the war. Additional funds would go toward repairing their office in Gaza, which was badly damaged by the Israeli bombing of a nearby hospital:
went to an antique maps store in portland today and whaddaya know.... it was palestine in 1866...... all of it.......... from the river to the sea........
I am offering FREE physical posters, matching stickers, and digital files (CMYK & riso) in solidarity with Palestine on my online shop.
Use them at protests, stick them in your window, wheat paste them, stick the stickers on lamp posts, stop signs, and the like, or distribute them to your community! 🇵🇸🕊️
DISCLAIMER: Big cartel does not let me make free listings so there is a 1 cent charge + tax. If no other items are purchased, I can refund the transaction. For posters, you must pay for the price of shipping.
