This scene from season one is objectively and retrospectively funny. It was quite the stroke of genius from whoever came up with the idea. Sure, there are all the stereotypical-can’t-miss-it connotations to freedom because as Christian himself said, it was the first time in his career Daniel had agency and he decided to walk away. BUT really, it was just filmmaking 101 — the producers saw a gorgeous guy with just enough pathos and decided to put him shirtless while he emoted. And when the herstorians in the future will talk about the unprecedented rise and ultimate demise of formula one as a sport, they will come back to the important work in season one again and again

He was already half-drunk on champagne and glory, that signature grin spreading wide across his face.

"Come on!" he was already pulling at your arms, forcing you to stumble up the steps.

That and he was fast, clever and knew just how to slip away from you to go and disturb everyone else. "So loosen up here, it's Vagas baby!" Before you could protest again he had you inside the casino. You'd never seen a lobby like it, just packed with row after row of slot machines, poker tables and roulette wheels. The noise of cash flow was overwhelming, loud music pumping over the speakers and there was an air of desperation in the place that reminded you of nightclubs.

Neither of you were dressed well enough to be let into the casino, which you'd never been so pleased about. The thing with F1 after-parties was that you rarely got the opportunity to dress in anything other than your team polo and a nice pair of jeans or a skirt. Similarly for Daniel, he'd treated his race suit for polo and dark jeans. You wouldn't be surprised if people were swarming you for attention soon, and you could already see the headlines forming. "Come with me," he was grinning, pulling on your hand again and laughing as he leant too heavily on the reception desk, batted his eyelids at the starstruck girl who was working there and produced a keycard.

"A hotel room?" Even in your hazy thoughts, you knew he couldn't be that dumb. The pair of you and the rest of the McLaren team was housed in a huge hotel just further along the strip. Daniel shook his head and swiped the keycard to call an elevator.

"I wanna show you something," he murmured, his hand on the small of your back as he guided you into the lift and pressed the button for the top floor. He was swaying a little in the elevator, and you tried to raise your eyebrow at him but you were pretty sure you ended up just pulling a ridiculous face because he burst into raucous laughter. He leant back against the side of the moving box, his head making contact with the mirror behind him and eyes fluttering shut. Something in the back of your mind was begging you to bite his neck, to kiss it, to lick along his Adam's apple that gently moved as he swallowed.

"It's nice to be back on top," he seemed to speak to himself, but you congratulated him again anyway. It had been a spectacular drive after all.

When the elevator doors pinged, he led you out into a fairly deserted corridor that made your heart rate pick up a little. If you weren't so drunk you would have been frightened. as he led you up a small set of steps and out through a heavy fire door.

The night air of the dessert was pleasantly warm, a gentle wind stirring through the rooftop due to the dizzying height. You weren't even close to the building's edge and you could see the glittering lights of the Las Vagas strip stretching out below you. You were about to turn to Daniel and tell him how pretty it was, but the look on his face stopped you in your tracks. He had a devilish grin and his eyes were shining. It was the look he gave your right before he went and did or said something immature that would get you in trouble later.

You opened your mouth to question him, but he was already bowling toward you. Your alcohol-soaked system was slow to react, and he'd picked you up before you realised it. You squealed, high pitched and playfully thumped his back, but you trusted him. Or you thought you did. You felt yourself in free fall, his strong arms still wrapped around you and for a second you thought he'd done something totally stupid like throw the pair of you off the balcony. Before you could scream, however, you were engulfed in a colossal splash and cold water soaked through your clothes in seconds.

The shock of the water had you gasping, but once you'd managed to come up to the surface and settle you realised that you were in the middle of a rooftop swimming pool. Daniel popped up beside you.

"It's cool, right?"

"Yeah," before you could say anything else, his childish streak was back and he was tackling you into the water. It was a quick struggle, the both of you drunk and silly and not really wanting to hurt the other. This time when you came up to breathe you were in his arms, your sodden chest pressed against his.

You didn't give yourself a second to rethink before you pulled him into a kiss.

Daniel responded immediately, groaning into your mouth as if he'd waited years for you to do that. His hands were resting on the backs of your thighs, begging for you to jump and wrap yourself around his waist, which was surprisingly easy when aided by the water.

The kiss deepened as he moaned freely again, licking his way into your mouth and easily dominating your tongue. He was relentless and you could feel every fibre of your being sparking under his touch, keening for more as his hands roamed your sides.

"Face," which was released as a debut song on March 15, 2012, is going through a speedy chart reversal after ten years because of SNS. Though fans are welcoming the chart reversal with joy, the group's disbandment has also made it a rather regretful situation.

The group that debuted with "Face" was the five-member boy group NU'EST. NU'EST debuted on March 15, 2012 with the single album "Face" but it did not garner as big of a reaction as other rookie groups at the time.

At the time of their first debut, they promoted as five members composed of JR, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun, and Ren, though after about a year, Chinese member Jason was added to the group and they promoted as six members under NU'EST-M.

Currently, many people are keeping NU'EST's "Face" alive through Tiktok and Instagram as though it was a dance challenge. Since the song became famous after 10 years, more people started looking for its original singers. Naturally, NU'EST was mentioned and many people came to learn about the current state of the group.

Although most people accepted that NU'EST was a disbanded group and simply uploaded videos, NU'EST's fans would explain in greater detail and the truth of their chart reversal became known. It was through this that many people felt their regrets.

A popular celebrity from NU'EST

On February 24, 2017, NU'EST announced their suspension of activities as four members would appear on Produce 101 Season 2. The members who decided to participate in Produce 101 Season 2 were JR, Baekho, Minhyun, and Ren.

This was where Minhyun was selected to be in the final lineup of Wanna One, and NU'EST had the chance to be known once more. Without Minhyun, the remaining members resumed activities as NU'EST W.

NU'EST JR (Kim Jonghyeon) has moved companies to Evermore and debuted as an actor and solo. He is promoting the release of his first mini album and solo debut, "MERIDIEM."

NU'EST Aron (Kwak Youngmin) is currently working independently without a company. A native of LA, he left his company and decided to go solo. Having had several years of experience as a radio DJ, he has expressed that he has started preparing for his first solo activities on his podcast.

NU'EST Baekho (Kang Dongho) has re-signed with his current company Pledis Entertainment. The name "Baekho" was given to him by After School's Uee. Baekho is continuing his solo activities after the release of his first mini album, "Absolute Zero."

NU'EST Minhyun (Hwang Minhyun) is actively promoting after re-signing with his current company Pledis Entertainment. He officially began his solo activities with the drama "Alchemy of Souls" and his first solo fan meeting.

Rise Like A Phoenix - Chapter Two

Synopsis - When a German agent goes missing investigating a diplomat’s disappearance, you are asked to take the case as your old adversary is revealed to be the one to blame. However, you soon find out that you will not be working alone, and will have to complete your mission with the help of agent Charles Leclerc.

Chapter Two - Shoot When You Say Shoot

While you were an expert in the field, your technological skills left a lot to be desired. But luckily, you had a guy for that. George Russell, MI6’s newest recruit, was a genius. He had graduated Cambridge at the age of 12 and was able to track down and collapse a global human trafficking ring by 15 using only his laptop. He spent years working independently, exposing criminals and bandits of the dark web before finally giving in to the government’s wishes for him to join the payroll.

He was funny, kind, and a little socially awkward which made him perfect for the job. You called him Q, because after his first week he had produced an exploding pen for you to use in the field, knowing you shared his love of Bond movies and all the fancy gadgets that were used onscreen. The only difference being, was your exploding pen could destroy anything within a 20 metre range, and was technically a hand grenade. You had used it once, and then spent an hour on the phone to George that evening telling him how cool it was. From that moment, you had been firm friends, despite many of the field agents turning their noses up at him, solely because he doesn’t go out and get shot at to make his money.

“So, Q, tell me everything. Associates, last known whereabouts, vehicles and number plates, anything and everything.” You say, taking a seat on the chair opposite George’s desk.

Jenson and Sebastian linger by the doorway, every so often taking glances out of the glass walls as George explains everything, showing you CCTV footage on the large TV screen behind him.

“Are you two waiting for someone? You keep looking outside and checking your watches.” You say, turning in your seat to face the two older men.

“Well, yes.” Jenson says, “George, if you will.”

“Field agent Mick Schumacher’s last recorded location, before the tracker was deactivated, cut out or whatever else, was Monte Carlo Casino… in Monaco. And the footage he recorded moments before his disappearance confirms this, and also clearly shows Edmund Fortescue in the background thanks to his rather distinctive tattoo. Honestly, if you’re going to be a career criminal, you don’t get yourself a very unpopular tattoo in a very obvious place, surely that’s covered in ‘how to be a career criminal 101’. Anyway, because Schumacher, a German agent, went missing in Monaco, and the suspect behind his disappearance is a British national, our governments agreed that we would all work together.” George says, clasping his hands together before him out of nervousness.

“So? That doesn’t answer my question, who are we waiting for?” You say, your eyes flicking from George, to Sebastian and to Jenson to try and retrieve a straight answer.

“The BND have said that they don’t want to send out any more agents into the field on this case. After discovering that the man behind the kidnapping is in fact Fortescue, they felt that British Intelligence would be better suited to handling this case knowing our history with him. They are simply here to advise and provide support in any way that they can, that’s why Sebastian is going to be staying here with me.” Jenson says.

“Yet again, avoiding my question. What the fuck is going on, will someone please give me a straight answer?” You say, your voice slightly raised in frustration.

“The Monegasque authorities, however, want to get involved. They feel that, since the crimes have happened on Monegasque soil, they should work fully alongside MI6 to find Fortescue. It has been assumed that Fortescue has been residing in their capital since his disappearance. I’m sure it comes as no surprise to you that the playground of the rich and famous is home to some shady characters willing to protect a man like Fortescue, and the Monegasque authorities would like to deal with whoever it is.” Jenson says.

“So, what? The leader of the Monegasque General Intelligence Division is on his way to assist you too?” You question, and the three men exchange a worried look.

“Not exactly, (y/n), I spoke with Prince Albert myself and he insists on sending one of their agents to work the case alongside you, as partners.” Jenson says, covering his eyes with his hands to avoid your steely gaze.

“No. No, no, no. I don’t work well with other people, you know that! Especially when it comes to Fortescue, this is my job. I work alone. Other people, they get in the way, they’re slow and stupid.” You despair, throwing your head in your hands.

“I’m sorry (y/n), but it was the only way we could get them to agree to let your license to kill remain valid on Monegasque soil. You know as well as I that Fortescue is slippery. You arrest him, he escapes, and this will never be over. You work with their agent, and you can shoot Fortescue and end it forever. Besides, it’ll be hard for you to pursue him when he knows you, you’ll need someone to get close to Fortescue so we can get inside and find the agent.” Jenson says, taking a step over to you and placing a reassuring hand on your shoulder. You shrug him away and uncover your eyes for a moment to shoot him a murderous glance.

“I’ve, uh, done my research into this chap you’re to work with, and he’s one of the best. His case files are quite impressive actually, I’m sure he’ll be able to keep up with you.” George interjects, and you give him a small smile.

“Well, he’d better be good, If he fucks anything up don’t think for one second that I’ll let him get away with it. I want him to know that even the slightest error might mean my gun will misfire and he’ll have to pay a visit to the doctor for a suspected gunshot wound to the shoulder.” You say, unaware of the door that silently opens and closes behind you, and of the man who had stepped through it.

“I’ll be sure to keep that in mind.” The man says, his accent revealing him as the Monegasque agent you are to be partnered with.

“(Y/n) (y/l/n)” You say, standing from your chair to extend a hand to your new partner. You may be angry at the thought of having to babysit some rich boy agent through one of the toughest cases of your career, but you would never be seen to be impolite.

“Charles Leclerc. It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I’ve heard a lot about you. And I’ll make sure to stay alert of any misfires should they happen” He says, taking your hand and shaking it, and awkward chuckle escaping his lips.

“If you think I’m joking, just to be clear I’m definitely not. I don’t work well with others in the field. Other people tend to slow me down, make bad decisions and do stupid things. When it comes to Edmund Fortescue, I don’t want any of that. I’m the Fortescue expert, whatever I say, goes. All you need to do is follow me around, do as I say, keep your gun loaded, and shoot when I say shoot, you got that pretty boy?” You say, quirking your eyebrow at Charles.

“Shoot when you say shoot. Gotcha. I’ll just watch your back, do your bidding, and look pretty while doing it.” He says, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly as he glances at Jenson and Sebastian - a plea for help.

“(Y/n) you should come to my office, we have a few things to discuss before you leave for Monte Carlo. You’ll have plenty of time to become acquainted with your new partner on the flight over in a few hours.” Jenson says, and you nod, following Jenson out of George’s glass office and away from your new partner.

while délavé have yet to debut their first group, the company is well known for their myriad of talented trainees, most of which who have been seen on survival shows such as produce 48, girl’s planet 999 and idol school to name a few. they are also the company which manages and promotes popular soloist idyll.

as of july 20th, however, it had been announced that the company is working on the debut of their first group through the project ‘our mémoire’. this news sent fans into a frenzy, and everyone seems to be patiently anticipating the group’s debut. below we’ll be discussing the estimated debut date, possible faces we might in the lineup, and the team behind the dream.

DEBUT DATE DISCUSSIONS

a lot of things about this group remains a mystery, including the date of their debut. délavé, however, has given fans a rough pre - debut promotion schedule. this includes a series of photoshoots, covers, original songs and lives from the future members, known as memorabilia. given that the lineup will consist of six, fans assume the group will debut by the end of august, or early september at the latest.

THE POSSIBLE LINEUP

while the current lineup is unknown, the speculated lineup consists of nam haeun, jung minyoung, ishioka aimi, danielle rojas, son nayoung and jeup iseul.

nam haeun was a former member of pristin, who left pledis alongside former fromis_9 member nayoung. it was reported at some point in early 2021 that they had signed under délavé, but this was never confirmed nor denied. neither of the two have been public since their departures in 2020.

meanwhile, aimi and iseul were both competitors on produce 48, with aimi making into the lineup for iz*one. danielle also featured in the first produce 101, and then competed in girl’s planet 999 after that.

despite the fact that the lineup hasn’t even been announced, délavé has announced the creative team behind the our mémoire project.

idyll – real name park yosung – is the executive creative director for the group, and is in charge of all things conceptual. he was the brains behind the memorabilia concept, and also hand chose the lineup himself. popular director and screenwriter myriam yeo is also a member of the team behind the group as the creative producer, and alongside yosung she brings his concepts to fruition.

head stylist and makeup artist indiana doyle posted a photo to her instagram of a dressing room with the caption ‘big things brewing’. two days later délavé confirmed that she was also working alongside myriam and yosung.

while not much has been revealed yet, fans patiently await any new updates on the group and their debut.

jace/jason kim

Jason Kim, better known by his stage name Jace, was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 1, 2000 at the turn of the century. He was raised by loving parents who immediately supported his dream of being on stage. In late 2013, he was accepted into JYP Entertainment and moved to South Korea alone. He was one of the youngest trainees and immediately captured the hearts of multiple older trainees including Bang Chan (Stray Kids) and most of GOT7.

In 2017, he was heavily considered for the Stray Kids survival program, but was cut from the lineup due to JYPE not wanting to debut a group with ten members. He maintains a good friendship with the group to this day and has said he isn't upset over not debuting with them because he doesn't feel he would fit into the concept they've built for themselves. He has appeared in multiple live streams and videos with Stray Kids, even before his own debut in DREAMDAY.

He was the first member of DREAMDAY announced on June 1st, 2020.

daniel/gao zixin

Born on December 5, 1998 in Chongqing, China, Daniel had no idea that he would end up falling in love with performing. His family moved to Montreal, Canada when he was 10 years old, living there for five years and taking a multitude of vocal lessons and even starring in a few theatrical productions before his family returned to China. He decided to audition under JYPE at his mother's suggestion and in 2017, he was accepted after multiple rounds of auditions.

He has talked about his friendship with, now former, JYPE idol Jackson Wang. Daniel has talked about feeling a disconnect between him and his fellow trainees despite being close with them. Jace had taken notice of this one day and had managed to talk Jackson into meeting with Daniel, just so the younger could have someone who related to him.

Daniel was the third member of DREAMDAY announced.

choi junmyeon

Junmyeon was born on November 2, 1999 in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea and has two younger brothers, born in 2001 and 2006 respectively. From a young age, Junmyeon had a deep interest in music production and lyric writing, beginning to write songs from the very moment he could properly write. He often shares these songs with fans, speaking about how much he's grown.

He competed on the second season of Produce 101, the survival program that debuted Wanna One in 2017, but ended the show ranked in 12th place, barely missing the chance to debut. Fans of the show were extatic to learn that he would be debuting in JYPE's newest boy group and even more so when they learned that he, alongside Sanghun, were the main lyricists and producers for the group.

Junmyeon was the sixth member of DREAMDAY announced.

kang hyunki

Hyunki was born on February 28, 2001 in Seoul, South Korea. He has an older sister, born in 1996, and the two of them were raised by a single mother. He often says that this is the reason why he's so comfortable with his own self presentation and masculinity, often times wearing more feminine clothing. He's spoken on the fact that clothing should make you feel better about yourself multiple times, and often shares fashion tips with fans.

He joined JYP Entertainment in early 2018 and despite being mostly introverted, made quick friends with most of the other trainees. After his debut in DREAMDAY, many fans were often worried about his low weight and how he never seemed to gain weight. Eventually, it got to the point where he himself had to do a livestream in which he addressed the entire thing, explaining that he's always been a thin kid and even sharing photos from his childhood to prove it. After reassuring fans that he was okay, it was just more difficult for him to put on weight, fans were content in leaving the issue alone for the most part and only occasionally reminded him to take care of himself.

Hyunki was the second member of DREAMDAY announced.

lee yeonghwan

Yeonghwan was born on March 7, 2002 in Jeju Island, South Korea and has two siblings, born in 1999 and 2008. He has always been obsessed with Kpop and has idolized groups such as EXO and GOT7 from a young age, confirming multiple times that Baekyun is his ult bias and even that he used to have an extensive photocard collection of the EXO member. Fans have speculated that he still has most of it as they have caught glimpses of Baekyun's photocards in the back of videos and lives before.

He auditioned to multiple companies, specifically JYP Entertainment multiple times before he finally was accepted in 2015 at the age of 13. He was very quickly taken in by Jace and Bang Chan as they both could see themselves in him. For a long time, he was used to being the youngest, but has said that he really enjoys having members who are younger than him that rely on him.

Yeonghwan was the fourth member of DREAMDAY announced.

park sunghan

Sunghan was born on May 29, 2002 in Daegu, South Korea and has two older sisters and a younger brother, born in 1995, 1998, and 2004 respectively. Growing up, he was mainly into dance and underground rappers, J-Hope being a very large inspiration for him for a long time. When he was accepted under JYP Entertainment in 2016, that was his main focus and it wasn't until he met Junmyeon in 2018 that he was introduced to the world of lyric writing and producing. With Junmyeon's help, he was able to refine his skills before their debut and is now working with the older as one of the main producers for the group.

He often comes across as intimidating because of his introverted nature. The rest of the members agree that he's the most introverted member, the textbook definition of an introvert, and so it's difficult for him to always be keeping up an "idol image". However, as he's gotten more comfortable in front of cameras, fans have really been able to see his cute side. He has thanked fans for allowing him time to adjust and always waiting for him.

He was the fifth member of DREAMDAY announced.

matthew/ matthieu ahn

Matthew was born on February 14, 2004 in Montpellier, France. He has one step-sister, born in 2004. After his mother's death when he was six years old, his father remarried when he was 13. Matthew doesn't often speak about his family and fans have assumed that he has a rather strained relationship with them due to the fact that they have never been spotted supporting DREAMDAY despite the group having performed in France before.

He had the shortest training period in DREAMDAY, only training for around 8 months before debuting. Because of this and the age gap, the rest of the group tends to be overprotective of him which he always tries to pretend he doesn't like. He has talked about the fact that he genuinely considers DREAMDAY a family and has said that the members have been there for him through a lot, only furthering the idea of his strained relationship with his family.

Matthew was the seventh and final member of DREAMDAY announced.

Obscure Animation Subject #72: Wishfart

That name feels like it came from Adult Swim, but its actually a kid’s show instead. Is it like BreadWinners and FanBoy and ChumChum? Not really.

This show is created by John Hazlett, Lienne Sawatsky and Daniel Williams for Teletoon.

It is directed by Jason Groh (red flag since you may recognize him as an All Engines Go director) and produced by Nelvana Enterprises and Corus Entertainment (with a vanity card Wishfart Productions Inc.). It had only one season of 40 episodes, each running at 11 minutes.

It ran from September 5, 2017 to November 9, 2018, and follows Dez, a teenage leprechaun with wish-granting powers, as he goes on escapades with a puffin named Puffin and a centuries-old teenage ghost girl named Akiko. That has nothing to do with farting at all, misleading right?

It also has Josh Sager and Jerome Simpson involved, a duo that would later write episodes of 101 Dalmatian Street. Oh yeah, it has the "be careful what you wish for" premise and the execution is… fine. The plots are alright but the characters and humor are just lame.

The humor is too corny and safe, and the characters are just sort of uninteresting despite avoiding major stereotypes. This show had many chances where it could have been bad but managed to dodge a lot of bad tropes, which is a plus, but the show is dull and not worth watching.

While this show is harmless and doesn’t have much hate on, it could’ve been worse. This isn’t horrible effort, but do I recommend it? No, it’s not worth it even if there is not much bad qualities, this show is very dull, plays safe and the animation is mediocre.

How 'The Office' Has Become the Favourite Show for Many.

'Executive Producer and Writer Michael Schur shared the visual metaphor that the writing team worked from while developing the series. “The visual metaphor that [Greg Daniels] gave us for the show at large was like a paved over, concrete, boring looking office parking lot with one little flower peeking up through a crack in the pavement.” 

This was a visual metaphor to communicate that the show was a satire of the many boring office spaces and parking lots, and how this little flower of hope and love between Pam and Jim managed to show itself.'

The executive producer wanted to hire writer actors that could go off script and really toy with their characters and the story. Almost following the Monty Python root to comedy productions. Greg Daniels believed that going against the Hollywood unspoken rule of separating writers and actors is what made the show so much more funny and playful, having the insight of so many comedic people catered to every viewer's humour and has ultimately made it a favourite comfort tv show for many of us.

Relatability was another part of the shows success, using the writer's and actor's real life events as inspiration to make the show feel authentic and normal allows the audience to really connect with certain moments or characters.

The humour was never about what was written in the script, the joke was the characters themselves and how they bounced off each other in the most mundane of settings. Making the most boring simple paper selling company job so hilarious.

If I am to make a television show using the workplace and following a relatable context, the characters must have interesting and entertaining personalities.

'Michael Scott is still the character that has no self-awareness and no social skills. But the writers injected him with little moments where we sympathize with him and that is what took the character, and the show, to a whole different level.

“That is the difference between the show lasting twelve episodes and two hundred.”'

Similarly to two of my television concepts, I am taking a normal workplace scenario and introducing diverse and laughable characters with complex situations and relationships with their coworkers. What makes my television show ideas different however is the location and style of humour, one idea focusses on the laughable innocence of children in a school setting and the other is more serious but set in a fastfood workplace.
