Ok but do you ever think of how much angst the battle for the cowl arc would bring for Dick in Reverse Robins.

He's eight, he just lost his whole family. He's eight, and he starts running around Gotham roofs dressed in traffic lights, despite all the previous Batman's sidekicks going with Bats spooky-scary style. He's eight and he demands not a person who orders but a person who collaborated, because that's how he always had it with his parents: they were partners while performing. And it's an uphill battle with Bruce, who was very much used to have his Batlings follow his orders and getting rebellious only as they grew older.

He's nine. Bruce is presumed dead (lost in a timestream). They just got this partnership to work. They weren't becoming a father-son yet, maybe they would never, but they were working on becoming something like a family. And now Bruce is gone, and Dick once again lost his closest partner. They became the dynamic duo, and Dick was making waves at the superhero community overall.

He's twenty three. Damian who haven't met Dick before came back to carry his father's legacy. He resents Dick, because father took him in (even if just as a ward), because father took him in as an equal partner, because father became better with Dick around, he even started trying to mend the long burned bridges. Damian also hates carrying Batman's legacy, even though as a child he wished he had it, thought he was more fitting for it than his own father, but now it's a burden. Everything that he inherited from Bruce is a burden, including a child who can't stop performing, who speaks his mind openly, who mends the world to his will, who fights tooth and nails to stay Robin. That's his own thing, not a legacy, not something Father created for him. The child is a ray of sunshine that can and will blind you if you stare at him long enough.

He's twenty three. Damian has to wear a cowl he resented. He has to be cared about a child he had only resentment.

He's nine. Dick's never wanted another father than the biological one, John Grayson. He's got Bruce for just a year, and now he had to adapt to another adult man in his life, who takes care of him. He's starting to think he's cursed as everyone near him die. He doesn't want to become close to Damian, keeps him at the hand length, but his hands are shorter than Damian's, and this partnership gets under his skin. He wants to go home, but there isn't one for him.

There are other trianed and well equipped Batmans, and they all claim bets on the legacy, with murder, and they all were aware of Robin, they all wanted to claim him as well.

He's nineteen. Jason was Batman's Shadow for half a year before dying at seventeen. His death wasn't enough for Bruce to start caring, there always will be another Shadow. There is Robin who refuses to be a shadow, refuces to become just a whisper of a being following Batman. Jason planned to hurt the child badly to see if Bruce still won't care. He also resented Damian for leaving, for letting Jason stay alone, for letting Jason die.

She's twenty. Steph's been Shadow for less than a month after Jason's death. She was Spoiler again, and she kept as far from Bats and his toy-child as far as she could. She knows Batman wouldn't care about any of them, and she didn't believe the child would last long enough. She hated that so many people came abroad back to Gotham to get the cowl, but she really wanted to stay away from that.

She's twenty five. She's been a Batgirl for three years, she's been Oracle for five. She kept tabs on Batman and Robin, but she didn't like Bruce. They had a begrudging alliance just wishing to keep Gotham safe. She was searching for ways to get Robin as far from Bats as possible while ignoring his freak that matched and changed Bruce.

He's nine. Dick has more responsibilities than ever before, responsibilities civilians life's depend on. He's alone, he's surrounded by Batman wannable and barely supportive allies. He's been followed by people with golden eyes, resembling owls. He's too busy to dwell on that. His grades are falling for the first time in his life. He wants to go home but he has none. He doesn't want Damian, he needs Damian to sit on rooftops with him after a long night and just be in the presence of one another. He doesn't want Babs. He needs her to stay in Belfry while everything else is too overwhelming, to chat with her about unsolved crimes, while she does something with programming. He totally doesn't want Jason, but he kept him safe on more accounts that it seemed he would as initially he clearly stated he would kill Dick. Almost like he was his shadow, or shade. He doesn't want Steph, but she's one of a few who just lets him stay a child, to just play with her and go around malls like there isn't a second night part of their lives. He doesn't want avass, who's barely there, but also wants a cowl, or, at the very least, to keep bad actors away.

Dick is nine, he wants to go home, he wants an equal partnership in the sky, he's alone and he's surrounded by people who would die if they get close to him. He's tired. He's energetic and causing troubles.

Now is a good time to remember that this is a Korean indie game with a developer team that fits into one single screen in the credits. Kingdom 2

So i know the line up for 'Road to Kingdom 2' is out although im not 100% sure it's confirmed(?)... for those who don't know the lineup is: Cravity, Xikers, ATBO, THE NEW SIX, YOUNITE, and 8TURN... i heard rumours and mentions of tempest but im not too sure. I also know that there are fans that are against road to kingdoms for a multitude of reasons that are definitely valid but as a multistan I can't help but be a little excited for the awesome performances and idol interactions we're gonna get!

anyways, I knos that the show hasn't even aired yet and I'm getting ahead of myself but here's a list of groups I think will be in Kingdom 2 and why! Mostly 4th and 5th gen groups listed! BUt lmk what yall think too!

ZEROBASEONE

For starters Kep1er was on queendom 2. They started off with a strong debut so I definitely see why they would. I don't really have too many reasons for them it just makes sense...? Only downside is that they have to go through another survival show...

2. TREASURE

Honestly for a YG group, treasure is pretty underrated. I think they'd have doubts about participating on Kingdom 2 because tbh it didn't really go well for iKon but I think the leaders of treasure would push an encourage the members to do it. Especially since YG is ass at promoting and they haven't had a comeback in 9 months. I think they'll definitely have a comeback before kingdom and during kingdom. And although they are underrated they are still well-established. Also victims of a survival show...

3. BOYNEXTDOOR

BND is possibility. I feel like because they're under hybe people don't see the need for them to participate but I also feel like they'd want to try something different or challenging since they are still a pretty new group.

4. P1HARMONY

with my whole heart and soul they'd fuck. the. stage. up. I feel as though this is also a very well established group but kingdom would give them an opportunity to better express their creative idol outlet. I think they'd also be hesitant since SF9 participated but they'd also like to try something new/different!

5. NCT WISH

also a maybe group. they are newer so I'd see why they'd participate but they are under SM so i'd feel their fanbase would be bigger but because they are a japanese centered group it would give them an opportunity to promote more in korea. I also feel like they'd do it to prove something - becasue they're new but they also want to show off they're own talents within NCT. PT3 OF VICTIMS OF SURVIVAL SHOWS...

6. &TEAM

Another victim of a survival shows.... also another maybe group. I also think they'd use this as an opportunity to promote more in korea, also try something new and challenging. I think it would also pave way for them to express their artist creativity. I say maybe because they are under hybe but i guess that's probably besides the point?

7. CIX

TBH IDEK i just feel like they would? I am more of a casual CIX listener. Seeing as they are a, imo, well known group I think they'd also do it for the opportunities. They are really talented. I started listening to them bc of jinyoung (wannable) but after watching YGTB i started to get into them more bc of seunghun and bx too... they're also three victims of survival shows... ATP i guess i have a type...

7. AB6IX

ehh tbh idek either... i guess similar to CIX since they are a 4th gen group too. Daehwi and Woojin... more victims...

8. RIIZE

HUGE EMPHASIS ON THE MAYBE. Only really put them down because they're 5th gen. with them I also see it as a creative outlet opportunity and something to prove. like yes we do have talent and our success is not bc of the company we're signed under.

9. TEMPEST

if they aren't on RTK2 then I feel like they'd be on kingdom 2.

10. TWS

cause they're also new? also an opportunity for a comeback.

TBVH i did think of groups that most definitely would not participate but that's due to a number of reasons and in all honestly I'm terrified of fandom wars breaking out.
