A Step Into Eternity (League of Legends Fanfiction)

Viktor, a cop in Piltover, is dragged into an alternate reality where he is the Machine Herald of Zaun.

This is heavily inspired by progenitorviktor's Piltovian Cop Viktor AU. The only way I can simply explain it is imagine Prototype Viktor is an alternate version of classic Viktor and he's not a cyborg; instead, he is born and raised in Piltover and works as an officer with Caitlyn, Vi, and Jayce. Essentially, he looks like this. So we have Viktor the Machine Herald (classic skin) in the canon universe and this Piltovian cop Viktor (non-cyborg) in an alternate universe. "Viktor" refers to this Piltovian Viktor; "The Herald" refers to (classic) Viktor.

Currently on indefinite hiatus.

@progenitorviktor I haven’t seen you being tagged, but I think you deserve to be - the new Viktor lore is out, and it doesn’t paint him as a villain. However, I think he lost much of the mystery around him and the “fake villain” aesthetic that was cool. And some other things. Like angst and of course, the title of the engineer creating cutting-edge augments (because his new lore doesn’t address the Orianna problem)

This is it. After two long years of roleplaying Viktor, my time as the mighty Machine Herald is over. It pains me to have tear away from a beloved character I had spent so long shaping and building with all of you. 1820 acolytes. I would never have been able to get this far without all of your loving, continuous support. I would never have achieved this Glorious Evolution without my acolytes. For that, I thank you everyone sincerely who have joined me from the start of my journey, through the height of my days with Humanity Rises and Viva la Resistance, and even now at the very end. 

I want to make this clear with everyone that I am not “archiving” my blog, so much as I am leaving it here as a Database, a well spring of reference for anyone who decides to drink from it. 

I think I owe it to everyone an explanation for my decisions. When I first started this blog in the summer of 2013, I was a month shy of seventeen and still was very much a child. Two years later with my first year in college completed, I’ve matured by leagues. Yet, I know that maturity is not enough for what path I have chosen for myself. My responsibility as a student is more important than ever. I’m going to be a pharmacist and it will take every ounce of my strength and effort to do so. I must admit, that at times, this blog has been a happy distraction for me in times of greater stress. It’s not that I’m “giving up” all of this. I’m hoping it is because I’m “growing up.” 

Don’t worry everyone, I’ll still be around. If you see my url pop up, it’s because Viktor is my main account. You guys can find me on my personal ladyvanguard, where I’ll be doing fanart for my other fandoms that I hold just as dear. I will also be working on developing my OCs ladyofarcen and vincethewanderer. 

Anyways, I feel that after all this time, I’ve accomplished what I originally set out to do. I feel that I managed to put a new spin on Viktor, bringing new material to the table, and making his character alive. I wanted people to love Viktor and not see him as this underrated character anymore, and hopefully I did help with introducing him to this community.

askpiltoverjayce You are my counterpart to my blog. We started about the same time and we’re going to end like that, too. I’m right behind you, my friend! I could not have asked for a better Jayce and I won’t. You’ll always be my Defender of Tomorrow.

ask-sheriff-caitlyn I have so many words for you, but I feel like they don’t need to be said, because you already know. You are the only Caitlyn for me. I guess I have to say that I’m pretty lucky to have you, Jayce, and Vi altogether, huh? I’ve built quite the pantheon for myself. I am so glad to have met you through Viktor. It’s been one hell of a year for us both. We’ve grown so much as muses and more importantly as people. Just thank you. Now a few words about our muses’ relationship. I don’t ship Caitlyn/Viktor, I ship Case Study. Case Study has pushed me to explore many psychological themes and parallels between our muses. I’m glad that many people enjoy seeing it. It’s not a ship about romance so much as it is about learning about oneself through being with another person, whether they are good or bad for you. This “love” runs deep into a complex underground labyrinth of doubt, loyalty, and companionship that spans many universes. Also...

Here is one last anecdote I’d like to share. Before my time on tumblr, there was word of a legendary Viktor roleplayer in the League forums. All that I ever heard was how good they were and that one day they had just left the community without a trace. To this day, I have no idea who they were. I wish to see their work someday. Just hearing about this Viktor roleplayer really encouraged me to do the same though. I wanted to go out there and change how everyone will see a character, and I am so glad that I had chosen Viktor. 

Viktor barely had any fanart of him out there when I started. It was mostly heralding-a-new-age art on dA. I suppose I could say I chose the right time to join tumblr and roleplay Viktor. The only other Viktor there was when I made my blog was glorious-evolution-rp. In ways, I saw this other Viktor as my competition when I started out. My god was their writing truly amazing. They even had art to further introduce their muse to the community. I was just so blown away by everything they did. There was so much attention to detail. I had so much respect for them, and found it hard at first to approach this titan of the League community. This was the first blog I followed on this account and there it has remained as tribute to another grand Viktor before me, who I was sad to see go.

It’s funny to see that they had ended their time as Viktor as Full Machine. In ways, I could say that I felt inspired to do the same. But ultimately, that has been my goal from the very beginning of my blog. It was planned this way. I just didn’t know when. 

Now I do. 

If anything, you could possibly count on my return should Riot bless Viktor with an event. If I can, I will pick up the mantle. 

“I have not stepped down from my throne. I will sit here until it is time.” 

I will cherish the memories and friends I have made here. Once again and one last time, thank you sincerely everyone for seeing me off at my journey’s end. Good luck to everyone here. Be kind to each other. Love, include each other, learn, and teach. That’s all I ever wanted for us here.

Not like this!... || Drabble request

This was it. The last fight. They had won over Sejuani and now just the ice witch herself. Lissandra. It was going to be a big fight. Like the fight with the frostborn. The fight that was going to change the century and the future. The fight that was going to be remembered, that was going to be written and told to children. This was it. The fight at her castle.

The people were all gathering for the fight. The people of Freljord where going to storm the castle. Ash leading the charge with Tryndmere by her side. And Braum with Nunu, of course. They had thousand of men and woman. Ready to fight for their freedom and end the witch's live once and for all. The war had begun as the war screams of the people echoed through the lands. It could be heard for miles, it could be heard over mountains and probably all over Runterra. The trolls shouted back with their own war cries.  They were big and ready to fight. And her army of undead soldiers as well

The battle was hard. Ashe was firing with her Avaroshan bow, hitting the undead in the head, but that didn't phase them. So she fired at the trolls. Tryndmere hacking and slashing through them.like a meat hacker. Taking of the undead head and climbs up the trolls, putting his sword into their eyes to make them fall. Nunu and his yeti, kicking and freezing some. Meanwhile. Braum was slamming and defending the people that were about getting hit. His shield could take it. But he saw someone at the balcony of her castle. It was Lissandra. The man was filled with anger now. This was going to end with her death. So the man took his energy and jumped all the way up there with his shield. And as soon as he entered. He puts his shield up and a ice shattered on it. She was fighting back it seems. She pointed with her cold and dead fingers. "I see that you have used my door as a weapon against me and my men. And now you're going to use it again me? Pathetic!"

Braum chuckles and smirks, looking up from his shield. "And all thanks to ya. Ya made a troll child get stuck, making me find the shield and use it against you. I have lived long and Braum have only seen you bring pain and suffering!"

He then charged at her with his shield. She vanishes as a she turned into ice form and appears behind him. Throwing some ice magic and hit his back. He grunts with pain but turns around and does his frostbite. Missing her as she moved aside. She then appeared in front of him. Putting her hand on the shield.

"You where a fool coming in here all alone. And with the shield that I created!" The shield started to shake and a hum of a sound started to form. Braum raises his eyebrow as he couldn't move. He only grunts and gasps. The shield was starting to break. Cracks starts to form. Braum starts to shout at her with fear. "What are you doing?!" She answered with a laugh and a seduced tone. "I'm de-creating your so called shield."

Ash and Tryndmere and the rest were coming. They where now inside the castle. Fighting the armies and her servants. Braum was trying to fight back with all his will. But she was to strong. More cracks started to form. All the damage it had taken over his years. It was slowly putting it all on the door as it slowly and slowly started to break more and more. Braum started to form some tears and says as Ashe and the rest entered her dorm. Ashe shouted with a cry. "Braum!

"Not like this!..."

And then a shock wave was made. Shooting away people that where in the room. Including Lissandra. Braum hit the wall and starts to cry, tears started to flow down his cheek as he says again.

"Not.. like-this." His body aged. He was turning into what he was suppose to be. The magic has been broken and so his body was going with it. His body started to decade. Turning into a rotting corpse. Braum screaming in pain as all the magic was going out. Braum was dead. A old and rotting corpse that once was a living legend, a hero.

Braum had no idea what happened next. But he felt warm... But he whispered to himself in his death. "Not like this..."

[ Saw you guys talking about Piltovian cop Viktor and so I had to draw something (assuming Vi is still in the picture--I mean she is the resident pup, she has to be). I don't put it past Vi and Viktor to tease the Sheriff, even if he doesn't mean to half the time. 

The idea here was that Case Study went on a secret date and Vi forced the news outta Viktor, so here she's telling Cait, "Looks like someone had a fun night, huh? Congrats!" and Viktor is trying not to laugh while simultaneously apologizing. Caitlyn is planning their demise, clearly.
