Tbh - and I’m aware this opinion might get me shot in V/M fandom circles - I put as much blame on Tessa and Scott for Seasons as I do Marina. More, even. They were experienced senior athletes who knew what it took to win Olympic Gold and create an Olympic moment and were fully capable of taking ownership of their careers. Meryl and Charlie had done their prep work and had their Sochi music picked out for THREE YEARS. By their own admission they knew very early on in the choreography process that Seasons didn’t feel right and it’s on them that they didn’t take the initiative to find something else that did. They were past the age to need handholding and I thought implying Marina had ‘sabotaged’ them with the music choice they had gone along with was a tiny bit…childish. Which I suspect they thought so too once they got a bit of distance and perspective and it’s why they doubled down on Moulin Rouge in the face of opposition from Marie and Patrice.

Tessa and Scott had instability going on that DW didn't have, especially concerning her health. but they still had agency. i had assumed when they said Marina wasn't in their corner, they meant many kinds of support - did they say outright she didn't give them winning programs?

VM were used to the coaches being the law, they'd been given amazing programs year after year - it might have been hard to break out of that mindset suddenly in an Olympic season. but you're right, they were adults and experienced athletes. i've never thought VM had no responsibility. i'm just more puzzled by Marina choosing Seasons than by why they stayed with it. the idea that they had to do a Russian themed FD came from her, and i'm perplexed she landed on Glazunov, when there are so many other choices - Russia has fantastic ballet composers - they could have skated Tchaikovsky or Stravinsky or Prokofiev

Hello "use Firefox" entities. If anyone would have fun expanding upon the suggestion, my phone came with like 20 google apps and I would prefer to have 0. I'm doubt that is 100% possible because there are very few default programs. Example: no default calender or photo app--just google calendar and google photo. But good lord there are too many of them

Is there a "use Firefox" suggestion for email/calendar/map/file viewer/anything?
