Do you think the Twilight Crystal is still in Ordon? You know, the thing that let Twilight Link transform back & forth between Hylian & Wolf.
By present-day, no. The Twilight Crystal no longer exists in this version of Ordon. BUT it had played a big role in shaping the Ordon peninsula's history and faith.
-
The Twilight Crystal was originally the headpiece of the legendary Twili Empress, Midna's crown. She was the last Twili Empress who lived about 5000 years prior to the present-day and was considered as the figure who broke the curse of "eternal Twilight" that was inflicted on the Ordon peninsula by the Interlopers - aka her ancestors - and brought the four Light Spirit Guardians into the physical realm to help in Ordon's healing from her ancestor's twisted magic.
Midna has since acheived "ascension" and is considered as the "Patron Saint of Twilight" in the Ordonian faith.
Tumblr media
The Crystal was similar to the Secret Stone in TotK, and was a kind of amplifer for Midna's powerful magic. After her passing, the Twilight Crystal became a sought-after treasure by thieves and treasure hunters.
One such treasure hunter used it to "recreate" the power of then extinct Twili people's legendary magic. And ended up causing the "Era of Great Darkness" where the peninsula was consumed by a shroud of darkness that twisted any unfortunate mortal's spirit into unspeakable monsters. This led to the rise of the Light Spirits and their Avatar vassals to vanquish the Darkness.
The Twilight Crystal was then destroyed by the Ordonian Avatar, Oron the Shepherd (aka this Ordon's version of Link, the Hero of Twilight) with the assistance of his Light Spirit, Ordonia.
This occurred about 3000 years prior to present-day.
Oron's descendants would go on to establish the united Kingdom of Ordon, the predecessor to the present-day country of Ordon.

This is one of those moments where Twilight Princess feels like a modern (for the time) successor to Ocarina of Time. Not in the superficial ways that everyone cites, but by using the camera to flesh the subtext of Link's emotions.
I wish I had screenshots of it, but I'm thinking of the scene in OoT where Link returns to the Sacred Forest Meadow as adult and the camera lingers on the stump where Saria used to be. The camerawork serves an obvious purpose: make sure the player knows Saria is missing. But it also serves to give a glimpse into what Link is thinking. He is dwelling on the fact that his friend is not where he expected her to be. He feels the passage of time, that things which used to be certain no longer are. This is something that would be lost if the camera didn't behave the way it did.
Twilight Princess is a lot more generous than OoT generally when it comes to showing Link's emotions. It may be due to the limit on his facial expressions as a wolf, but it is difficult to parse what he is feeling here at first. But the camera could have focused on Colin the whole time. Instead, after he says his bit, it switches to Link. It reminds the player that Link is there, but it is also telling the player to think about what Link is feeling while he witnesses this.
(actually, my screenshots don't do justice to the scene because after Colin says the first bit, the other characters silently react in their own ways before he finishes and the camera switches to Link)
Midna says something afterward to the effect of "wow, sure sucks that your friends don't even know you're there and won't remember that you saved them." And yeah, maybe that is exactly what Link is thinking. But Midna is also an unreliable narrator, at least in the beginning. She's selfish and looks down on Link for being as kind and selfless as he is. She might be projecting onto him. What if that's what she would feel if she were in Link's position?
I think there's truth in what she says, but I think Link has more going on up there here. He reflecting on how he is watching his timid young friend hold onto hope and comfort a girl who is normally not particularly kind to him. He's proud of Colin, but is upset that he can't show it. Plenty of other times in the game, Link shows his affection for Colin through just a simple smile, which the younger Ordon kids hardly afford him. Link wants to smile at Colin, but even if he could be seen, he would be a terrifying beast to him. But hey, maybe I'm projecting.

Christmas of Closure - Day 5
I forgot who asked for this one, but thank you for reminding me that this exists! I've missed this story!
Anyways, here's some Twilight with the princesses!
Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3 | Day 4 | Day 5 (you are here!) | Day 6 (eventually)
Update under the cut!
-
Much of the day passes with little interaction between the heroes.
Four does not return to the room the others linger in, and though Twilight and Sky do, it’s only for so long before apparently Hilda determines it fit to give them space of their own, but properly this time. This time they are given rooms. All in the same hall as their brother, even including the one they’d sort of picked out for themselves.
It doesn’t slip past Twilight though that they are arranged throughout the hall. Maybe he wouldn’t have noticed, except Sky is given the room directly beside that of the vet, and Hyrule the one across. The rest, he can’t exactly name a reason why, but he knows those two were intentional.
It’s nice though, having space. Much as he loves his brothers, they’re a lot to deal with on the best of days, and those recently are anything but that. It’s been a long time since he’d had any space to claim for himself, never mind one he could shut others out of. It is odd to him though, especially after Ravio’s outburst yesterday, that his is the one across from Sky’s and beside Hyrule’s rooms; the third closest. Maybe it’s because he’d helped, or at least shown he could. After all, the rancher muses, wincing, it’s not as though there is anyone close to the ornery teen, so perhaps it only made sense to the princess to place someone who could be helpful nearby, rather than the rest of the heroes.
Whatever the reason, given all that’s happened, he’s mostly content to stay in his room once he’s shown it. The only real reason he’d have to leave was if he was needed, and as there’s no knock save that of some servant dropping off food, the rest of the day is spent is silence.
  It’s unnerving.
Lying in the bed offered, he’s struck with the fact that he actually hasn’t been properly alone since meeting the rest of the heroes, and while it’s a welcome thing, it’s also hollow. He’s still pissed with the rest, knows full well that if one of them was around they’d break into a fight, but it’s also so strange to be alone again. Again though, he doesn’t want to be near the rest!
Settling in, pulling the blankets over his head, he huffs.
Now he understands why Hyrule had chosen to haunt the door.
 -
He’s not asleep too long before there’s a tap on his door.
Blankets fly free and away, but he doesn’t, instead staring out into the blackness of the room. His ears must be tricking him, no? Why would-? Yet there it is again, a tapping, hesitant but there.
  The rancher sits up.
Is it one of his brothers? A servant? He hasn’t a clock on hand (or Time, who they would usually just ask) but shouldn’t people be…asleep?
But if they’re not asleep, then they have to be awake for some reason or another, and he might as well get up and just ask instead of sitting there all night long wondering and waiting for them to go away.
The floor is cold as he crosses it, and he half regrets not grabbing for his fur. He’d forgotten what it was like to stay in any sort of castle like building, and he could be wrong, but he swears Lorule is just a bit colder than Hyrule was. Definitely more so than in Ordon, where sleepwear as a concept is near laughable for how warm most nights are. As is, he very much wishes he’d grabbed something even a bit more concealing, his shirt maybe, to throw on, especially when he opens the door and finds not one, but two princesses looking up at him.
He thought it was one of the heroes. He never would have guessed it would be the two girls.
“Yer majesties,” he lacks cap or the room to bow, so a quick touch to the forehead seems appropriate. The last few times he’d forgotten, mostly because worry or tension filled the air, and while they’re not exactly absent now, it’s the least he can do as a show of respect considering…everything else.
“Hero of Twilight,” Hilda responds, gaze flat but ears twitching slightly. “May we have a word?”
“Of course.” He opens the door, because, well, it wouldn’t do to have the stand in the hall would it? Still, it feels odd, letting to girls in, and he’s careful to leave the door open, just in case. These are ladies after all and he wouldn’t want people talking at all, especially their idiot captain. More for their sake than his own, but Ulli didn’t raise no rake.
It’s a decent sized room, at least as far as he’s concerned, although on the smaller side for a castle. He’s gotten the impression they’re in an out of the way hall, and not one of the sort usually used for guests. Not that he minds at all, but it does feel rather… odd, especially with having only the bed to offer as seating. Which he doesn’t do, because that would feel wrong, and odd, so he just sort of… stands there.
The two princesses do the same, hands folded primly before themselves until they almost look like actual reflections of each other, save the little things like hair and colors and all that. The only real major difference, at least in his eyes, is the expressions on their faces. Zelda’s is more pinched, Hilda’s more authoritative, although less then the times before.
  “It’s about Link,” Zelda starts.
He nods. He probably could have guessed. They wouldn’t have any other reason to talk to him anyways, although the words, and their tone, do make worry stir up all over again. “Is he alright?” Only respect has him not turning and immediately looking to the vet’s room, “did something happen again? If so-”
A gloved hand raises, the darker haired of the two girls answering before he can finish. “He is sleeping. Poorly, but that is to be expected.”
The urge to ask if he can check, all the same, rises, but he bites it down. He hasn’t the right after all. The only reason he’s been to see Legend was because he’d had knowledge they needed, not because the vet had wanted him there or anyone had thought it the best thing to do. Ravio had made that clear; he was their last resort, only there because they needed someone, anyone, who could help the injured hero.
Trust isn’t easily earned, and with the vet he feels that trust lost may be lost forever. As was, he’d barely been offered any before, Ordonia only knows what it will look like now, once Legend’s himself again.
If he’s ever himself again, a dark voice in his head whispers.
Aloud though, a softer voice speaks. “You mentioned knowledge,” the darker princess’s eyes are intense as they meet his, searching, head ever so slightly on one side as she watches him, something unreadable in the pinch of her brows and purse of her lips. “That you’d studied darker magic.”
“Never for any ill intent, I assure you, ma’am.” He’s quick to clarify.
  “Why then?”
It’s…. It’s not something he’d wanted to talk about. Sky had asked, in a way, but, despite everything, the other had accepted rather easily when he’d said he didn’t want to talk about it. He still doesn’t, but he’s not sure exactly how accepting of that the two princesses will be, especially with Legend’s well-being on the line and he being part of the cause of that.
The rancher winces, hand trailing for his neck, gaze wanting to flick away but knowing- Minda’s voice sharp in his head, how that might be taken. “There was an outbreak in my home-town when I was a young thing. It- it weren’t purty, an’ I’d hoped to maybe learn why it happened, or maybe how to fix it.”
“Did you?” The expression in the lighter princess’s face is more easily readable then her counterpart; worry, concern, maybe even pity.
“No ma’am.” He tries for a hint of a smile all the same. “It was fixed though, jist, not by me.”
Red eyes trail over him, slowly, “understandable. You are no mage after all.”
  “No, ma’am.”
  “But you know about magic.”
“Yes, ma’am. Some.” He’s confused, although he tries not to show it. They’ll tell him what they want, when they want. That’s how royals are. After all, he’s had a dark and light princess of his own to teach him as much, and he knows where asking questions leads to, and that’s usually being ignored while they talk to each other instead.
Similarly, both girls turn to each other, exchanging some series of expressions and likely underlying thoughts, but he’s blind to what most of it means, instead standing there awkwardly and wondering what his chances are of crossing the room to his discarded shirt and tunic without getting stared at are. Probably not high, but he daren’t interrupt, and considering they’re here, he knows they’ll be saying something to him sooner rather than later.
He’s right too, for its only another moment or so before Hilda is turning to him again, and once more, he sees that flicker he’s seen twice before, that glimpse of brief uncertainty as crimson eyes level him. “You know how to shift back from a beast form, and into one, yes?”
“Yes,” he nods, finally settling on crossing his arms in order to best do something with his hands, and preserve some sort of warmth. Loosely though, so as to not look threatening. He’s well aware how it could be taken if he’s not careful, which he usually doesn’t mind, but wouldn’t bode well at all around here.
Ravio had threatened to have him put out like a dog if he misbehaved, and while he’s not entirely sure that wasn’t just emotion taking over and speaking, he’d rather not risk it. He’s never been to Lorule after all, and he’s not keen on learning the country at the moment. Even just the castle seems quite enough, if not too much, at this time.
“Could you teach Link?” Zelda asks, face pinching up in impatience and unsurprisingly, concern. Because of course she would be concerned, this is her brother they’re talking about, but also-
  “Pardon?”
  “Can you teach him?”
Twilight blinks, startled. He’s not sure what he had expected them to have to say to him, this whole night-time visit coming as a surprise, but…. “Me?”
Hilda nods, sharply. “You are the only one who has displayed any sort of understanding as to his situation, any sort of familiarity.” One gloved hand fists in her heavy skirt. “Prince Link requires help as he adjusts to all that has happened, and while Princess Zelda and myself are fully willing to offer our assistance, our own knowledge is quite limited in these respects; there are some things we simply do not know. But you do.”
It’s got to be a royals thing, the way that heavy eyes bore into those they fix on. Blue and crimson both hold his own, watching, intent, focused, and more terrifyingly; the slightest bit of hope touches those two tired faces, like he’s some answer to a prayer they hadn’t dared to breathe.  The expectation is heavy, and strong as even he is, he’s not sure he can carry it without faltering.
But it’s also a promise. A chance. It’s a way to help, to atone for what he’d done. It’s a chance to see the vet for himself, to make sure he’s okay.
Yes, he’s got a protege already, yes, he barely has a handle on teaching Wild anything. But this is different; this is helping someone learn to live again with something that is beyond their control, but within his to help. It’s heavy, yes. He’s not that strong, yes. But Legend needs someone, and Twilight will be darned if he turns his back this time.
His silence though must be read otherwise, because Zelda sighs and Hilda’s eyes slip away, downwards, voice softer this time, slower, less clipped. “You’re the only light being who’s handled dark magic without corruption before. I understand what we ask may seem-”
  “I’ll help.”
Blue and red rise to meet midnight.
“This is our fault,” he sounds again, echoing the words that have been on the tongues and minds of all of them since it all began. “We did this, an’ we ought to be the ones bearin’ the consequences.”
  “Link isn’t-”
“Link-” and Ordonia help him, it’s still hard to use that name on another, “-is my team-mate- my friend if he’s still willin’ to call me that. He doesn’t deserve to face all this, but he has to, he’s stuck with it, fer better or worse, so I might as well pull my own and do what I can to make that easier for him.” And there’s no smiling on this, no assurance he can give, just the plain bare truth as he meets those heavy eyes. “I can’t promise I won’t mess up again, or that I’ll do everything I ought, or even that I can keep my temper with him all the time-” and despite expectations, Zelda cracks a tiny smile towards the floor at that, although Hilda looks none too impressed as she stares at him, “-but I want to try. It’s the least I can do.”
Dark painted lips purse with a small nod. “Excellent.”
Zelda, in contrast, just stares at him, doesn’t speak, doesn’t answer, doesn’t really make any expression either. It’s uncanny, and all the more so for her similarity to her brother.
“It will be some time before he is recovered fully, but should it be required, we might send for you if he needs help.”
“I’ll be here,” because where else would he be? “Jist….” and it’s been bothering, so while he’s not sure if he has a right to ask, if he really wants to know, he still speaks, “are you sure it’s alright? Yer- Ravio didn’t seem fond of my bein’ near him.”
This time it’s red turning to blue for answer and the light princess sighing, wincing really, like the very question pains her. “My beloved brother has-” a huff, a twitch of long ears, “Link is afraid of dogs.”
“Which is not to be shared nor mocked,” Hilda affirms quickly, gaze darting, but easing at the nod he gives immediately.
Both girls relax some when he says nothing of it.
“You’ve seen it, how small that form is,” the lighter speaks again. “Even hylian though, he’s been hunted. He hides it best he can, but-”
But he’d still known Legend was hesitant near Wolfie, near avoidant at times. The first he’d made to have contact was back the same day as both their secrets had been spilled to the other. He hadn't thought much of it then, but it makes sense, he supposes, even if it does sting a small part of himself, be it out of further guilt or more sympathy. “I see.”
“We would not have asked,” Hilda murmurs, now much softer, gaze the same, “except for how you handled everything before, this morning.”
  “I jist-”
“He calmed,” where one softens the other firms, Zelda’s voice stronger now against the stone of the room, almost ringing back but for lack of volume, although not force. “Say what Ravio might, but Link doesn’t do that with anyone he doesn’t trust. He calmed in your presence, and let you keep him close when he was vulnerable, confused, and no doubt scared. Regardless of your actions, and that of your companions, he doesn’t remember any of it enough to see you as a threat or enemy.” She has Sky’s eyes, he finds himself thinking, turned on him with that same strained, searching pain he’d seen from the skyloftian earlier in the day, standing in the hall outside of their vet’s door. “That may change, or perhaps not, but for now, for his sake, we’re willing to offer you the same if you help him.”
It’s not as though there’s any real choice, or real deliberation. There’s doubt- concern, yes, but regardless of who, or how, or where, or when, this is a fellow hero, a brother if anyone still would think to call them that, and Twilight will and has ridden through fire for his little brothers. Doing it for another- doing far less- is only natural.
“Just give a call if you want me, or if he does. I’m here.”
  “Thank you.”
“Nothing to thank me for,” he almost feels he ought to bow to the hylian princess, “it’s the right thing, plain and simple. I’m just glad you’re willing to give me the chance.”
That face, so like their vet’s, yet softer, sweeter, twists up, tension in proud shoulders and tightly clasped fingers. “We’re not, but Link is, and somehow, between the four of us,” another glance between the two royals, “he’s always been the wisest on these matters.”

Team Bonding Linkshipping Stories
There's been some recent kerfuffle among enjoyers of the little Team Bonding unofficial series, and said kerfuffle has manifested as... a shitton of explicit monsterfucker and Link/Link fics. I hope you have some extra time this weekend for some light reading.
Under the cut for length...
Presented in chronological order, including the three stories in the series I've written...
This story drops some new lore about the Shadow Beasts that it's important to know for later.
Pairings: TP!Link/Shadow Beasts, special guest star Midna.
A battle with the Twilight Beasts takes an unexpected turn for the Hero of Twilight. It's all manner of wrong, and yet... he can't help but find himself enjoying it.
Immediate sequel to To Be Taken by Twilight, two chapters.
Pairings: TP!Link/Midna/Zelda, leans heavily into MidZel.
In the aftermath of the Twilight Invasion, Link, Zelda, and Midna find time to just breathe.
Spoilers: They do WAY more than just breathe in this story.
The original sin in this series, all because someone in a server once talked about the Shadow Beasts being sexy.
Pairings: A little bit of everyone/Shadow Beasts.
During their journey, the heroes were subject not just to the antagonism of the shadow but to the unique perils that plagued each of their eras. When the swirling portal opened above them and heavy stone spires fell to the earth, Twilight felt every hair on his body stand on end.  There was really no delicate way for Twilight to warn his brothers-in-arms of the danger they were all in.
Pairings: Mainly Time/Twilight with Twi/Wild and Warriors/Legend mentioned as well.
There is another legend that is passed down alongside the story of the golden goddesses, although not many remember the tale. It's the story of two devoted lovers, one of whom was the bearer of the Spirit of Courage, who were separated from one another by the cruelty of fate. When no god nor great spirit would aid the hero in being reunited with his lost love, he was forced to turn to more nefarious methods, cleaving his soul in two. Maybe this is why some of the heroes have crossed paths with one another and connected along their adventures in spite of being separated from each other by entire eras. And maybe in this era, fate has given Twilight a second chance.
Pairing: Time/Twilight.
The group lands in Ordon Village, and there just aren't enough places in Twilight's home for eight heroes to sleep. Some of them may end up needing to share close quarters.
Pairing: Time/Twilight/Wild.
“What’s the matter with you, Rancher?” Warriors’ voice was curiously devoid of genuine emotion, but when he turned his attention back to Twilight, his eyes were bright with– something. "Feeling a bit territorial?” Or: following the events of A Dangerous Game, Twilight finally checks on Wild after their romp with the Shadow Beasts. Well, he tries to. It turns out that Time got there first... or Wild sought out comfort in someone else when he usually reached for him. Twilight doesn't know which option feels worse.
Pairing: Time/Wild.
“What if I feel safer next to you.” Wild countered. “What if I feel safer when I’m touching you?” Turning his head to meet Wild’s eyes, Time slowly slid his hand across Wild’s warm thigh, his lips only inches from Wild’s own. “Is this enough?” he said softly. Wild considered for a moment, his hands reaching for and curling over Time’s own thigh in return. It took both of Wild’s hands to cover the same amount of area as Time was touching on him. “We could be closer,” he whispered in reply, and before Time could respond he was kissing him. OR, Wild and Time together before everyone else.
Pairing: Legend/Warriors.
"For while it could take so much for Legend to finally lay down the hypervigilance trained into him after years and years and years of adventures and mortal peril, being trusted to safeguard his rest filled Warriors’ heart pride." Spinning off from A Dangerous Game and the snaps from the same little breaks (in our soul), Legend and Warriors explore their own aftermath following the encounter with the Shadow Beasts.
Pairing: Four/Shadow Beasts.
This is probably a bad idea, a piece of Four thinks as he makes his way down the trail. He has things to do. Or, well, better things to do. It's just... it's not his fault that not-people are so hard to come by. or, Four makes interesting decisions in the wake of Team Bonding
Pairing: Sky/Hyrule/Shadow Beasts.
He shouldn't have enjoyed it, but Sky couldn't help but find his feet carrying him back to the clearing when they'd oh so recently encountered those monsters from the Twilight.

I loveeee gothic stories!!! tell me about we kiss in the shadows? what makes it gothic themes :eyes:
Thank you for the ask, @spices28
We Kiss in Shadows is VERY much a gothic romance/horror story. Think Phantom of the Opera meets Beauty and the Beast meets Shrek. Combine the elements of disfigurement, beastly form, and a curse from those stories and you have my current WIP. Obviously, Twilight Princess is the perfect backdrop.
It's a story about heartbreak, overcoming fears, and eternal love.
Synopsis:
Zelda thought she’d always have her best friend, Link by her side, until tragedy struck. Ten years after his untimely death, she catches a glimpse of a hauntingly familiar stranger at a garden party announcing her engagement to historical archaeologist, Shad.
Not long after, Zelda and Shad accompany a group of soldiers traveling to Ordon Village to investigate a sudden rash of livestock disappearances and to study the fabled Spring of Courage. Sensing powerful magic at the Spring, Zelda ventures into the neighboring forest to investigate. When a sudden blizzard falls, she becomes hopelessly lost in the woods.
There she encounters a lone wolf with one striking blue eye. Running away in fear, she stumbles and falls. She finds herself in the care of a mysterious recluse residing in the ruins of the late Duke of Ordona’s mansion. As the storm rages on, Zelda slowly begins unraveling the truth of his identity and the curse that plagues him.
Here's a link to art so gorgeous it's now my phone wallpaper I commissioned from illcamp
It's heavy angst (a HUGE departure for me). Will I do it justice and meet the hype? I don't know, but I'm going to try. I'm four chapters into the writing process of what I imagine will be a 10 - 15 chapter story arc.
Thank you again for the ask, excitement for this project, and support!! 🤗

Portrait Ideas
Trying to make, like, portraits for ffh character sheets, but my art skills aren’t the best lol so I might hand the job over to my friend
(You can find the rest of the project here)
Some notes I was thinking of while designing them:
Hyrule
Still wearing his silly lil crop top
Proud owner of a million scrub tops (the main one would have fairy and ruppee designs)
Otherwise pretty similar to his og design
Twilight
Clothes are very similar to his ordon clothes
Wolf pelt replaces his shoulder brace, gets tucked into his belt at the back
Underbite + snaggletooth Twilight my beloved 💕
Wild
Imagine the champion tunic… but as a chef’s uniform, with some artistic liberties taken. A light blue chef coat with long sleeves that cinch around his wrists (maybe the cinch would be brown?) and the master sword design on his sleeves
I’m thinking he’d have different hairstyles when he’s working and when he’s off-duty. Just his wild bangs pinned back
Legend
Glasses. Specifically half frame rose gold reading glasses with chains filled with pretty beads for decoration.
Very similar to his og LU design otherwise, maybe a few more embelishments on his shirt
Time
Old men should get to wear comfy cotton button-up long sleeves 😤
Also overalls ‘cause farmer
Do I give yet another Link glasses? Maybe. I saw smth that said he’d wear a monocle, but that seems a bit too fancy for a farmer methinks
Four
Four in a smithing apron
Oh is that all? That’s definitely a note. Some stuff on the colors (who I have yet to decide if they’re even gonna pop up in this project), then.
Red: an absolute mane of hair, wears his headband more like a ribbon. Loose red shirt with the slack tied at his waist.
Blue: Thick insulating gloves and a blue tank over a black compression shirt. Wears his hair the most classic way out of all of ‘em, but still has that bang tucked behind his ear
Green: idk why, but I’m feeling one of those jackets with like the leather sleeves but like the wool(?) material for the torso. I dunno, just feels right. Hair held back with a bandana instead, but I think some bangs escaped
Vio: Back at it with the apron (it’s hot, what can I say?). I’m thinking a purple long sleeve under a leather apron. His hair is tied back in a low ponytail similar to botw link’s original design, but with his silly lil headband just like the rest
Warriors
Honestly I think his og LU design is pretty fitting. Maybe make it a bit more casual for while in the village? Take off a couple layers or something
Wind
Definitely keeping that classic shirt- it’s so cute!
Honestly I think shorts would fit him better, give this version of him a more boyish look. This is, like, all the boys’ retirement arc, so I think Wind should be able to live his childhood with all his brothers and his grandma and sis back home
Sky
Definitely wearing a half apron cinched around his waist and a fancy embroidered shirt
Lichtenberg scars that start at the tips of his fingers and trail up to his collar bone

For the WIP game: I'm curious about TP trust issues and also the AoC matchmaker Rhoam fic
Thank you for asking because the TP one is my big project for 2025 and I desperately wanted an excuse to talk about it. 😆
I'll answer the Rhoam one in a different post.
The story will be post TP and canon compliant, set after Link left Ordon as shown in the credits of the game.
Link has become part of the Resistance post TP. The political climate post war is rough and they spend most of the time gathering information from various groups about what is going on and who's pursuing which goal. Link knows a lot of people, so he's their main negotiator in Castle Town and beyond.
After a councilman disappeared under mysterious circumstances, they're hearing rumors that Zelda has something to do with it. Nobody really can believe she's behind it, but Link has seen the horrors the royal family has been responsible for in Arbiter's Ground, so they can't rule it out either. They don't want to support a queen who's cruel and doesn't hesitate to eliminate political foes.
The plan they come up with is that one of them has to get closer to her to find out what's going on. And...guess whose job is that going to be? Yeah. Link isn't too happy about being involved in all this and repeatedly turns to Ilia in writing because she's his moral compass in all the political entanglement he's gotten himself into. Needless to say, Ilia doesn't like the plan one bit because it's not what they are and what they stand for.
Zelda, however, longs for company and is sad she doesn't have the connection other princesses seemed to have to their heroes. So when she asks Rauru for a list of potential suitors to end her loneliness and Link, of all people, is on it, she jumps at the opportunity and invites him.
They develop a somewhat unusual relationship with Link insisting on helping with her paperwork and a remarkable interest in history and Zelda bathing in the fact that she finally has her Hero around. She even opens up to him but it's a gift he can't appreciate because he's occupied with the card house he's been building up.
And that's when Zelda receives a letter that makes all his cards crash down.
I'll stop here and won't spoil the second half and all the rest that's going on with the missing people etc. But be assured it's a big fic and I'm super excited to start it!
B will beta read this for me and is the devil in my ear when I come asking, "Is this too dark?" 🤣
I promise, you'll still recognize it as a Zelmo fic but it will be a more serious story overall. Nothing too crazy, a solid M-rating I'd say, and of course, with a happy ending because I can't sleep at night if not, lol...

Perks of Being a Wolf
Twilight wants to provide comfort to his brothers, but he also doesn't want to make them feel uncomfortable or like he's coddling them. Wolfie comes in handy for that.
From a sprint prompt on the LU Discord server: The Perks of Being a Wolf.
Set before the Wolfie reveal, obviously. Just some nice comfort and fluff with Wolfie and Wind.
A quick excerpt under the cut!
Twilight was used to being a big brother figure to the kids back in Ordon. He had experience chasing around giggling children and wiping tears after a knee had been scraped, and although he didn’t like tooting his own horn, he had to admit that he was pretty good with kids.
When he started traveling with the chain, he was surprised by just how young some of his fellow heroes were. Wind was barely a teenager, and even the slightly older ones were hardly older than he had been when he first set out on his adventure to defeat Ganon all those years ago, and some of these boys had multiple battles and adventures under their belts. It was jarring to imagine them getting involved in such dangerous quests at such young ages.
It hurt a bit because he could often see his brothers struggling, whether that was after a vicious battle or just from emotional turmoil, and he wanted to be able to help them, to comfort them like he would the village children back home, but seasoned heroes didn’t tend to be as open to coddling as the kids from Ordon had been.

Um hi I am 🪷 From clouds Page and I wanted to be it on here if it ok
I just wanted to say I really love your work
And I have a huge question It not a requests but a ask
I am autistic high functioning one but it still hard to do things that you don't understand and you have to have yours comer plushy
I have one and even though I am in my Earl 20's I am crying like a baby over my plushy I had snic I was a kid it a cute Pokemon one and it a cute little mew doll and my rabbit and stuff dog. But the got torn up by my sister dog and they are trying to fix it
What would the link boy do
I know sage would try a fix it with touch stuff that the reader would like. Also I just know the gop that is on the itam look so soft and like slim I would beIN playing with it for so long
So my question is how would the boys fix it or think of the reade beIN so over stimulated and can't stop crying and can't cop with out her stuff plushies and would they make a smiler one until the fix it
I know four would quickly get the plushy fix and time with the song of time
And fd is a god he can use powers but the others I am confused on
Sage would be using his hand
Sorry for the long question I am just in a stage of cleaning down and trying to wait for my other plushy.
FROM 🪷Aron p.s I am not good at spelling and my autocorrect is a meany
Hello 🪷anon! Don't worry, I know who you are! Your request is currently a work in progress! You totally can be 🪷anon!
I'm so sorry about what happened to your plushy. I totally understand as I'm nineteen, almost twenty, and have my own comfort plush. I know I would be absolutely devastated if anything happened to her (Her name is Princess and she's a pink poodle :)). I can't imagine what it would be like for someone with Autism. I'm not nearly as educated on the spectrum or what it entails, but I know a disturbance like that can be especially hard. (Please take no offence to what I'm saying, I'm trying not to make this sound as bad as its coming out.)
Now, Time, contrary to how he looks, does know how to sew. He's not exceptional at it, but it's certainly passible. Sure, it's a little wonky, maybe crooked, but it's evident that he put a lot of effort into it. While it's a work in progress however, or after the initial incident, he remains a steady rock for you! If your okay with physical touch during this time, he's holding you to his chest and humming a soft tune under his breath while gently rocking back and forth. If not, he's counting breaths in front of you, tapping off his fingers to help you regulate.
Twilight cannot sew. Point, blank, period. His hands are too clumsy and his movements too rough for the thin, fragile string. However, he knows people who can. If your near Ordon, he's asking Ilia or Uli. If not, he'll take it to a tailor in the nearby village. If your not near a village, he's sucking up his ego and asking Legend. His pelt is always available if you need it, but so are his arms. Lemme tell you, he gives the best hugs. If you don't wanna hug him, that's fine, maybe Wolfie will make you feel better? If you don't want any contact, that's just as okay! Wolfie with sit with you until you feel better!
Sky is tricky because while he can play the harp/lyra/whatever that thing is, I can't say I see him being able to sew. His hands are too used to the thick sturdiness of wood or the gentle plucking of the strings. The repetitive motions confuse him and he just knots the string over and over again. He doesn't wait to ask Legend or Time however, and he'll even use tears to get what he wants. Like Twilight, his sail cloth is always available to you, and he also gives pretty good hugs. If you want your space, he's pulling out his latest project and working on it beside you, hoping the repetitive noises and motions help you ground yourself.
Now, Wars can't sew well either. But he can. He's not going to put your biggest comfort item at risk for that. He's not sucking up to Legend however. No, he'll instead hand over the needed dough to the nearest Tailor or, hell, even Time to get it done as quickly as possible. His scarf is also always available. It's a good way to ground yourself as he'll sit with one end, wrapping and intertwining it around his fingers and urging you to follow.
Legend, my lovely little rat, is the best at sewing hands down. He'll remain by your side, letting you take whatever comfort needed (Physical or otherwise), while he sews your comfort item back to its rightful state. He won't shoot any quips, nor even have a harsh tone with you and anyone who dares to even try and tease you are gifted with a dirty glare.
Wild cannot sew. Period. He'll also bribe Legend with food of some sort or some ancient tech to do it for him while keeping you distracted with food prep. You don't even have to do anything, but sit there and look pretty. If you want physical comfort, sucks for the rest of the chain because they are now on their own for dinner as you become priority number one.
Hyrule can sew! With resources as scarce as they are in his world, he had to learn to preserve what he had. Which included repairing his tunics, pants, boots, etc., etc.. So, he jumps at the opportunity to fix your comfort item. It's done pretty well too! Now, Hyrule probably uses some sort of Fairy magic to calm you, through touch or otherwise, and also hums to keep you grounded.
Four can also sew! He'd fix it up right away! In fact, he'd probably split to speed up the process. One of the colors, probably Vio, would sew the item easily and quickly while the others worked on comforting you. Cuddles? Done. You wanna hear them sing? Give them a song, darling. You just want your space to process your emotions? They're steering the others away. And then, when they combine to give you back the object, Four doesn't leave until he's certain your doing okay again. :)
Wind (This is entirely platonic) cannot sew. But, he's the youngest, so he can use puppy dog eyes and get Legend or Hyrule or Time to bend to his will and do it for him. He is then either distracting you with a game or adventure or small hike, or sitting with you and telling you all sorts of stories about his journey as a pirate.
Sage can sew! He learned after his original Champion's tunic had taken one too many hits and he refused to ask Natura (His Zelda) to fix it, or use the one she was dead set on him using. Of course, he could also use his hand to help, using Recall if the incident is recent enough. If it's not, he's more than happy to fix it himself. He's offering you his hand to take should you want it, using it to pull you into his lap if that's acceptable in the situation. If not, he's sitting with you. He's all too aware of what's it's like to be so...overstimulated, so he's not asking anything. Not humming or singing. Just sitting and acting like an anchor for you.
Fierce Deity can't sew. He can use powers to an extent, but he mostly has to use his scary dog privileges to get a tailor to fix it. He's built like a tank and has a core like a furnace though, so he's perfect for cuddles. If you wanna sob into his chest, he won't do anything but shield you from the view of others. He's another one to offer silent comfort rather than any form of conversation.
Bonus! First can sew! Not badly, nor too well, but it's average. He's humming lowly while fixing the object before giving it to you. He's brushing your knuckles before pressing a kiss to them, tapping your breaths along each bump when he pulls away. His scarf is also available to you. Whatever you need, darling.
I really hope this makes you feel a bit better 🪷anon! I tried using the little bit of knowledge I had to make this as good as it can be. I wish you all the best and wish I could've gotten to this sooner.
With all my love,
Cinder XOXO

What would have lead to Hyrule being MORE then 10,000 years old in your timeline? Most states and cultures IRL don’t even last above several centuries at most, so I wonder what’s the reason for it’s epithet as the “Eternal Kingdom” as mentioned in one of your posts
So... the name "Eternal Kingdom" is mainly what other countries outside of the Hyrule's border called them. Since from their perspective, the Kingdom of Hyrule had a very long and unbroken rule over its lands for 10 000 years under the same name and same ruling royal family. With evidences that they do have some level of divinity to back them up.
As opposed to themselves who may have gone through cycles of change. For example, my version of Ordon - their own recorded history goes back at least 9000 years with multiple eras of different rulers, governance, disasters and significant events that shape them into their present-day state. These countries and their people don't essentially need to know Hyrule's origins and take it into account with how they view this ancient Kingdom. But as far as they are aware, Hyrule has always been there. Until the day of the Second Calamity and how that shattered Hyrule's 10K year long streak.
.
As for how old Hyrule actually is, I put an asterisk on the " 10 000 years* " since it's a bit vague and they didn't really give definite dates on when exactly certain events occurred and how far apart they happened from each other.
My interpretation of the BotW-TotK timeline is that the Founding of the Kingdom of Hyrule, the Imprisoning Wars and later the First Calamity happened WITHIN the Ancient Era of 10K. And the Age of Zonai along with precedessors of the Ancient Hyruleans existed for some time before the Kingdom's founding. (The exact number of years / dates lost or forgotten from historical records ).
At least from the standpoint of BotW/TotK's present-day. Since it happened so far back in time that its all mashed together into a blur.
Its implied that very little of recorded history from back then survived to present-day. Either because of written text being lost or destroyed, language drift (similar to how Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs were misinterpreted/untranslatable for the longest time until the Rosetta Stone discovery in 1799) or they were forgotten from living memory. Or even a combination of all above.
TL;DR - the Kingdom of Hyrule is estimated to be 10 000-ish years old in the BotW-TotK timeline, based on in-game lore and history. And because of their extreme longevity, the Kingdom is sometimes called the "Eternal Kingdom" by their neighbours.
--
Lastly, this is a rule I give to myself when it comes to worldbuilding, whether it be with the Legend of Zelda or...any fictional world I play around with.
The fictional world and their lore does not essentially have to be realistic, to our real world standards. It only needs to be believable within the rules of their fantastical universe. (Quoted by me cuz I made that up, 05 Sept 2023)
What I mean by this is that, it is okay to take inspiration from real world history, culture and people when building up your stories and the world that it is set in. How realistic you want your worlds and stories to be is completely up to you. BUT it is not essential. You can be as fantastical and mind-blowing as you want in your world and stories. As long as it is believable to the reader / player.
Hyrule being 10 000(ish) years old is frankly mind-bending and almost eldritch to think about. And that's okay. You can accept that official canon or not. And let's be honest, Nintendo is not that well-known for their lore building in their games. And the canon Zelda timeline is already a mess to follow with.
(Also do check out Overly Sarcastic Productuon's video about BotW-Hyrule and its environmental storytelling (pre-TotK release). It has influenced how I interpret this specific version of Hyrule).
Personally, realism for me is more of a source of inspiration rather than a hard rule to how my worlds work. I build my worlds to be...places that I want to explore. With that feeling of exploration to immerse people into what this world is like and their in-universe lore adds layers that can excite the imagination.
And that's the beauty of worldbuilding. You can make the most fantastical world with magic, dragons and aliens, or the most realistic world based on real life but with mechas, dinosaurs and cowboys. Because why not!
The only limitation is your own imagination and how you build it up.
TL;DR - You can worldbuild the most realistic or fantastical world as much as you want. As long as it is believable to the reader that they too can imagine your world in their own imaginations.

Art Notes:
So, I went back and finished this project that I started two years ago to try and tie up loose ends that have been left untied for too long. This was the final set that I meant to complete back then, but it's changed a lot from the initial sketch.
Originally, the first outfit was going to be inspired by Alice in Wonderland-ish outfit, but when I went back to finish it I decided to make an BotW flamebreaker armor set for Zelda. I didn't want to make the bulky helmet though, so instead I just gave her a flame guard circlet that references the Goron ruby design in OoT.
I actually tried to incorporate elements from past and current Zelda games in all the designs, but I'm more familiar with certain Zelda games than the others so not all games will be represented unfortunately.
The second design is actually an updated take on a western Zelda design I had back in 2012 because Spirit Tracks and the Sand Sea part of Skyward Sword inspired a what if.
Tumblr media
(It hurts to look back at old art. 🥲)
I already knew I wanted the whip, different circlet style, and more Gerudo elements in the initial sketch, but when I went back and worked on it this year I added more TotK inspired dragon and brightbloom elements to it.
The third outfit didn't change much. I knew I wanted to make a Twili outfit for Zelda, because I wanted to prove to myself Zelda could rock the look too. And I think I did an okay job. 💪 The major things that changed from the initial sketch was adding the Chinese inspired fingernail protectors, the ear covers, and the leg tattoo.
The four outfit changed entirely. Originally, I was going to do a Ordon/Kakariko Village from TP inspired design.
Tumblr media
But I scrapped that idea last minute for a try at a BotW Snowquill armor set design for Zelda and.... I'm not super happy with how this outfit turned out. There's a lot of things I would changed/fix if I had to do it again. But as a starting point to improve upon in the future, what I got in the end wasn't bad. I'm mostly not happy with the leather torso armor. But, I can't be bothered with it anymore.
The fifth design underwent a lot of changes, mostly because I didn't know what I really wanted to do for the fifth. First was a modern bookworm/professor design, to a more regal traditional fantasy queen design, and then I finally settled on doing a BotW Zora armor design to just completed the major BotW/TotK armor set quartet (quartet because I already had done a Sheikiah design previously in another set even though it was more SSBB inspired than BotW).
It kind of kicked my butt trying to figure out what I wanted to do with this outfit, especially when I tried to color it. I ended up using the color palette from the BotW yellow dye for the Zora amour set, because I really wanted Zelda's suit to be yellow like the Light Dragon in TotK. In the end I think I got something half way decent. So I am satisfied enough with this project to call it finished.
Enjoy, if you can!♥♥♥

Heads up for the first aid:
How would Bandit, Noctis, Wake, & Vendettas react to their wife, Nemma, asking them to visit Hyrule Castle again the next day after a very boring & irritating day of “diplomacy” with the rich uppercrust of Hyrule?
Now, he very much doesn't want to, but…
There was that mischievous light in her eye that he'd know anywhere.
“What are you planning?”
Though, still mostly stoic, the corners of her lips quirked towards ever so slightly in a similar way to when a cat has devoured a bird whole. “Why, whatever do you mean, shinainaru danna-san?” (beloved husband) She says, fluttering her lashes at him demurely.
But that only raised both his suspicions… & his curiosity.
If he decides to return the next day…
He'll be greeted by the sight of king's expression of restrained humor as his servants & attendants scurry around furiously & the pompous elites from the night before wailing & complaining about “the indignity of such a horrid vandalization!”
And, when they drew close, those insipid wretches attempted to keep him from the main hall. But just as he was about to react, the king remarks, “Oh, come now! It was a harmless prank. How are we to make alliances if we hide our warts! Let them in.”
Confused, he glances at his wife, who’s hiding the lower half of her face behind a fan, eyes bright with glee. Now, the curiosity had a chokehold on him.
However, whatever he might've been expecting, it very much wasn’t what he found.
The main hall, that just the night before, had been gloriously, ostentatiously, even pompously, & vibrantly painted, was now a drab, uniform, unpainted, & unattractive gray with piles of what appeared to be peeled away paint upon the floor. Servants were furiously trying to repaint the walls or sweep the debris away. A couple were even weeping pathetically at the loss. It was utter mayhem.
What are his thoughts & feelings? Like, really go into it. I'm guessing half confused.
I’m also hoping for humor that he must valiantly fight against projecting upon his visage & possible sputtering that was covered up quickly when he takes out the gentlemen’s fan that his wife had handed to him just before they left for the castle.
Maybe clearing his throat before asking, “H-how exactly did this occur?”
Regardless, the king remarks that, evidently, some mischievous little scamp had acquired a jar of Ordon’s finest & highest proof moonshine, then hid it open inside the hall. (Ganondorf was nearly unable to keep himself from snapping his neck to look at his wife, who had only just the night before last bought such a jar of Ordonian Moonshine. 2, in fact. Note: The highest proof of moonshine could very well do something like this if left open in a room overnight.)
Though it will take a lot to fix, the king had to admire that sort of creative genius! So simple, yet so effective!
How do they feel throughout this? How do they react upon the pair finding a moment alone away from prying eyes?
I’m hoping for hysterics or retrained giggling or chuckling or something to that effect. Possibly to the point of tears in his eyes, because his queen will certainly be giggling behind her fan, shoulders shaking with jubilance at having made such a mockery of the courts & gotten away with it.
However, should he ask, Nemma will simply state that just because they cannot strike just yet, does not mean that they can’t strike in other, possibly more subtle, if petty ways.
Also, she noticed how awfully the pompous aristocracy was speaking to him & how frustrated he’d been about not being able to put them in their places like she knew he wanted to, so she wished to “defend his honor” she supposed. Though, she hadn’t been planning to use the moonshine in such a way when she bought it, she remarks somewhat mournfully. She’d wanted to cook him a meal tonight & it would've paired well with the corn spirit. Luckily, she'd only needed to leave one jar, so she had enough left to at least bake a new dessert idea she'd had. Fall Moonshine Cake. It should be a lovely spiced thing full of apples & drizzled with a glaze. She was actually looking forward to it.
I love this. Yessss! I love mischief and mayhem! Look at her go! <3 <3 <3
*********************************************************************
The Ganondorfs and Demise, as varied and complex as their personalities may be, would all share a moment of confusion, curiosity, and—ultimately—amusement upon seeing the chaotic aftermath of Nemma’s prank on the Hyrulean elite.
Wind Waker Ganondorf (Wake): As Wake enters the hall, his usual stoic composure cracks slightly. The sight of the once-glorious chamber now stripped bare, servants wailing over the destruction of their precious décor, forces him to stifle a laugh. He quickly covers it up by pulling out the fan his wife gave him, clearing his throat. His mind, however, races with a mixture of shock, admiration, and pride in his queen's cleverness. "So much for the self-important pomp," he thinks, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as he surveys the ridiculous scene. When the king mentions the jar of moonshine, Wake's eyes widen slightly, flickering toward Nemma, whose fan hides her playful grin. He knows exactly where that moonshine came from, and it takes everything in him not to burst into laughter then and there.
Later, when they find a moment alone, Wake can no longer hold it in. His deep, hearty laughter fills the empty hallway as he clutches his side, tears of amusement welling in his eyes. "You are more dangerous than any blade, Nemma," he says between fits of chuckles, his respect for her mischievous mind growing even more. Her explanation about defending his honor only makes him laugh harder, and the thought of a moonshine-baked dessert afterward just adds to the joy of the day.
Ocarina of Time Ganondorf (Bandit): Bandit steps into the hall, his arms crossed, a deep frown on his face, still annoyed from the previous day’s diplomatic nonsense. However, the moment he sees the chaotic scene of elites complaining and servants scrambling to repaint the drab gray walls, his brow furrows in confusion. The king’s cryptic remark about a harmless prank makes him even more suspicious, and when he glances at Nemma, her demure yet wickedly gleeful expression sends alarm bells ringing in his mind.
When the king explains the moonshine fiasco, Bandit nearly sputters, the fan in his hand snapping open with a loud fwip as he covers his mouth. He narrows his eyes at his wife, who now seems to be enjoying his struggle to contain his laughter. "Moonshine?" he mutters under his breath, finally understanding what had transpired. The sheer ridiculousness of it all, paired with his queen’s audacious wit, threatens to break his composure.
Once alone, Bandit leans against the wall, his shoulders shaking as he fights back the urge to laugh. He runs a hand down his face and shakes his head, eyes twinkling with reluctant amusement. "You couldn’t just let me deal with them in my way, could you? No... you had to outsmart them in the most spectacularly petty way possible." Nemma’s explanation about “defending his honor” makes him groan in mock frustration, though a small, appreciative smile finally breaks through.
Twilight Princess Ganondorf (Noctis): Noctis, ever the most composed and regal of the Ganondorfs, strides into the hall with a bored, tired expression after the day of diplomacy. But when he takes in the sight of the destruction—the walls now dull and bare, the elites whining incessantly—he freezes. His golden eyes sweep across the hall, trying to comprehend what has happened, and then they land on Nemma, her mischievous smile hidden just behind her fan. He immediately knows something is amiss.
As the king explains the moonshine prank, Noctis blinks, still trying to process how something as simple as a jar of alcohol could wreak such havoc. He opens the fan Nemma handed him earlier with a graceful flick, subtly fanning his face to cover the smile that’s trying to break through. The image of those snobbish nobles having their grand hall ruined by a jar of Ordonian moonshine is too deliciously ironic to ignore.
When they’re alone, Noctis lets out a low chuckle, a rare sound from the usually stoic king. He shakes his head, folding his arms over his chest. "I cannot decide whether I should be impressed or furious," he admits, though his lips quirk into an affectionate smile. "I hope you left enough moonshine for our dinner, Nemma. That cake sounds intriguing."
Hyrule Warriors Ganondorf (Hedony): Hedony’s first instinct is to assume that something violent occurred when he sees the mess in the hall. The paint peeled off, the nobles screeching like wounded animals—it all points to some grand act of destruction. But when he hears the king’s explanation and sees Nemma’s barely-contained laughter behind her fan, the realization of what really happened hits him. His lips twitch, wanting to curl into a smirk, but he keeps his face impassive, though only barely.
The idea of using moonshine to cause this level of mayhem is... brilliant. Simple, yet effective. He clenches his jaw, holding back the urge to laugh aloud. "How exactly did this occur?" he asks, voice tight with the effort of not breaking into hysterics.
Later, when they’re alone, Hedony finally allows himself to laugh. His booming voice echoes through the corridors as he pulls Nemma close, kissing her deeply. "You’re going to be the death of me, woman," he says with a grin, his pride in her devious mind shining through. "But what a glorious way to go."
Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf (Vendettas): Vendettas, ever suspicious and brooding, walks into the hall, already irritated by the previous day’s events. His eyes scan the destruction with a raised brow. The nobles whining, the king trying to calm everyone down—it all seems so trivial to him. But then he sees Nemma’s smirk hidden behind her fan, and his annoyance fades, replaced by curiosity.
The explanation about the moonshine catches him off guard. He stops in his tracks, blinking in surprise. "Moonshine? Really?" His hand twitches toward the fan she gave him earlier, and before he knows it, he’s covering his face, trying not to snort. The absurdity of it all, the sheer pettiness, is enough to make even him struggle to maintain his composure.
When they’re alone, Vendettas lets out a rare, deep chuckle. "I didn’t think you’d take it that far," he admits, shaking his head. "But I’m glad you did. They deserved it."
Demise: Demise, ever the most prideful and straightforward, enters the hall with a scowl, his patience already worn thin from the previous day's tiresome events. But when he sees the disarray, his scowl deepens. He shoots a suspicious look at Nemma, whose playful eyes behind her fan give everything away.
As the king explains the moonshine incident, Demise’s scowl falters, replaced by confusion. "Moonshine?" His deep voice rumbles as he looks between Nemma and the king, trying to comprehend how such a simple substance caused this chaos. But then he remembers the jar Nemma bought, and realization dawns on him. He tries to stifle his amusement, but a deep, guttural laugh escapes his throat despite himself.
Later, when they’re alone, Demise grips Nemma by the waist, pulling her close. "You are a wicked woman," he growls softly, though there’s a note of admiration in his voice. "But I wouldn’t have it any other way."

That Broken Promise: A Link's Meet AU
When Koume and Kotake trick Link into pulling the Master Sword free of the Temple of Time, ten years after he placed it there to return himself to his own past, the world shatters around them and many of the Heroes across time are dragged together to stabilize a broken world.
How will they restore each other to their homes and families? Can they even get along long enough to find a solution without dying to one world or another or, worse, killing each other?
