FEED MY FRANKENSTEIN 🧟

The Voldemort Brainrot server presents ‘Feed My Frankenstein’! The FMF Fest encourages and celebrates the good, the bad, and the ugly of monsters. The goal of this fest is to take a pairing and turn one — or both — characters into monsters — or if they are already so, explore canon further. One character must be a Death Eater, but the other is free to choose.

This is inclusive but not restricted to Tomarry, Tomione, Volmione, and Harrymort. Do whatever pairing you please, as long one is a Death Eater!

Although run directly by @screamingmandrakes, this fest is the group effort of the members of the Voldemort Brainrot Discord server. Due to the nature of the server, it is 18+ and the fest adheres to the same rules. The FMF fest is not directly a dead dove one, but it is encouraged :)

That being said, you do not have to write dead dove! Write what you please.

Great news! wwxfans prompt fest is back!

From September 1 to October 31, we will be celebrating Wei Wuxian's birthday in the form of a prompt meme!

The rules are simple:

You don't have to be a member of the comm to participate. Anyone can prompt and fill. If you're a dreamwidth user already, great (and very encouraged), but if you're not, you can comment anonymously on the prompt post (and sign it with your handle elsewhere or not sign it as you desire).

This is an 18+ only event, though prompts do not have to be NSFW.

All ships, dynamics, gen, and queerplatonic takes are welcome. As long as prompts and fills are wwx-centric, feel free to share it.

Nearly anything goes, including "dead dove" content, as long as it follows the 16+ for nsfw rule of the comm. Discriminatory prompts/fills that break the rules of the comm will be removed at the mods’ discretion.

Fills are not limited to fic and art. Fanmixes, icons, recs lists, headcanons, and more are all welcome. There are no minimum or maximum requirements for fills.

Well, hello there, honey! Fancy meeting you here!

The weather is (finally) warming up in the Samwell area and we're extremely pleased to announce that Madison & More, a new Check, Please! prompt fest, is now happening!!!

Here are some important details:

☀️The overall theme is Summertime, which could include Madison-based works (timely, since we figure Madison may be on people's minds now that the comic is appearing in mailboxes around the world now!), however prompts and works can be related to any characters or ships doing anything summery (hence the 'More' part of the fest name)!

☀️Prompting will open on AO3 beginning Monday, May 22nd at noon EDT. More on prompting guidelines will be posted here closer to that date!

☀️Prompts will be open for two weeks (until Monday, June 5th) at which point prompts may be claimed.

☀️All types of fanworks are welcome as prompt fills: written fics, podfics, filk/vids, any type of art or handmade fanwork, etc!

☀️Finished works will be due Friday, August 18th at midnight EDT so you'll have pretty much all summer to write, pod, draw, create!!

☀️Works will begin posting the following Monday, August 21st for everyone to enjoy as summer comes to a close.

What counts as incest?

All works submitted must be around one or more romantic incestuous relationships. For the parameters of this fest, we allow any of the following to be considered incestuous…

Incestuous Relationships (Canonical or AU):

• Blood Relatives • By-Law Relatives • Step-Relatives • Adoptive Relatives • God-Relatives • Self-cest

2024 Rules Update: OCs are welcome! Be that an original relative that is paired with a canon (book series, films, and extended universe) character (i.e., Harry Potter/OC Adoptive Parent or Child) OR in terms of putting a name to a character who exists in canon, though we may not know their full name. (I.E. Mr Brown/Lavender Brown)

All romantic relationships must be established AFTER the characters have been officially named relatives in some fashion and are aware of this relationship. (I.E. NO previous Draco/Harry before James marries Lucius; NO Sirius/Harry until after Harry is aware he is his Godfather)

This fest welcomes all characters from the Harry Potter extended universe, including games/extended HP properties/Fantastic Beasts, etc)

The Voldemort Brainrot server presents ‘Feed My Frankenstein’! The FMF Fest encourages and celebrates the good, the bad, and the ugly of monsters.

As stated before in the announcement post, the objective of this festival is to take a pairing and transform one or both characters into monsters—or, if they are already so, delve deeper into their existing monstrous traits. There is only one restriction for the content produced in the fest and it is listed in the rules, but otherwise you are encouraged to go as freaky as you can get. This fest is giving you the floor to write whatever horrifying perversion (or something non-sexual if you please) you want.

While one character must be a Death Eater, the choice for the other character is open. Rare pairs and/or dead dove pairings are encouraged as the nature of the fest is to be, well, monstrous. Voldemort is, of course, included!

That being said, you do not have to write dead dove!

This year's Katoberfest will be held October 22-29, 2023. I am collecting prompt suggestions through next Friday, September 1.
