note: hello ! I feel as if this request was such perfect timing (my little capsaicin draft has been sitting for awhile !) with that, I'm afraid this doesn't mention a feminine reader due to the fact this was made weeks prior, so I apologize for that ! I hope you may still enjoy this !

I apologize for my abrupt hiatus aswell, I have been hyperfixated on other things (the owl house !) but now I have returned ! I am planning on a fluff alphabet for a certain cookie ! ~

- upon realization before your relationship, capsaicin is hesitant, both in admitting his admiration for you and the possibility of commiting to a relationship. He's afraid of you fearing him overtime, or even after knowing about his affections for you

- harming you is the last thing he wants to happen, even if his entire reason for liking you is because you embraced him, embraced every bit of flaw he had despite the dangers he may cause, erupt, despite having the power to turn you to burnt crumbs, it was like you didn't care about such risks.. He's concerned, yet at the same time, his sweet, crumbled heart felt like melting lava !

- you made him feel free from the confinements of invisible shackles, to feel lighter despite the huge mountain of insecurities that weighed him down, you made him feel like .. well, him !

- he wanted to grow closer to you, to embrace you aswell ! but alongside, he wanted to distance himself as far away from you as possible. He sees you as a cookie too fragile, who might crumble the moment he touches you !

- this may take months- even years ! unless you are aware of his lingering emotions, then please do talk him out of this phase ! You don't know how much he yearns for your touch, but simply cannot because of his dying heat ( you may or may not have asked prune juice cookie for a fire resistance potion ! )

- upon the course of dating, capsaicin is a very clingy man, both in public and in private. Nearly his entire life without any form of physical cookie contact took a huge toll on him ! He is, without his knowledge, a very touch starved man. Though if you address your concerns about PDA then he will stop immediately ( a bit sulky about it but he gets over it overtime ! )

- public affection aside, he can get quite possessive aswell, not from ill intentions or anything ! Capsaicin has an extremely low self esteem, any cookie he sees interacting with you ( especially if its a suitor of yours ) automatically makes him think that the cookie is more deserving of you than he ever will

- if you do dislike PDA, then he is more eager to staying indoors rather than being outside ( that's quite the surprise ! ). It's like his firing heart might die out if he goes on a day without holding your hand ! Must you talk so long with a friend of yours ? he already misses your sweet touch !

- your suitors could treat you way better than he can, they would let you live a love life without any form of danger - you're safer with any other cookie other than capsaicin ! yet you decided to choose him.

- he constantly ponders if he even has the qualities of being a good partner, often questioning the things he does for you. He wonders if his efforts lack more .. effort, that maybe your suitors can truly be a better partner than him, a dangerous cookie since his youngest days. He doesn't want you to have to risk being in danger because of him !

- capsaicin refuses to listen to any other reassurances if its not from you, but he also dislikes speaking up about it, he doesn't want any cookie to feel the pressure of having to reassure him, even if cookies like kouign-amann wouldn't mind such things

- the good thing is that it's noticeable whenever he does feel upset about something, and whether it's about insecurities or his own trauma, please do comfort him ! give him physical affection and lots of praise ! he'll think that he doesn't deserve such words but it does feel nice to hear someone say that to him, especially you !

- capsaicin cookie dislikes being restrained, it doesn't matter what place ! so your dates are very frequent, if not everyday. He simply likes roaming around earthbread, hands swaying back and forth as he rambles endlessly about his friends' antics !

- alongside this, I have a strong feeling that he over prepares before he goes out on your date. He has to make sure he is prepared for anything and everything ! But for some reason he somehow forgets an item or two, one time you both went on a picnic date and he forgot the flowers !

- loves holding hands with you ! Whether it be for comfort, to ground his inner self, or to show small affections for you, playing with your fingers or massaging your palms

- likes showing off his strength to you ! In public and in private. He feels that it is a must - do requirement to prove himself to you ! To show off that you are dating a strong cookie, a cookie that has a burning passion for you !

- below the surface of hot lava, he can be very soft spoken with you, he feels so much trust and comfort in you to the point that it doesn't feel like a constant requirement to appear strong and mighty, because any other cookie, strong or weak, can have their opposite moments too !

I barged into his laboratory only to find out that he has been busy with his potion making. Cauldron filled with bubbling hot potions. The faint scent of strawberry filled the air as I slowly entered his lab. "Have I told you that intruders are not allowed to be in here?" he said while his eyes are still glued on his potions. "Oh, Prune Juice Cookie. Its me!" said with full enthusiasm as I walked closer to him to take a closer look on his current activities. His attention quickly adverted to me as he heard my voice. "Oh its you, (your flavour) Cookie. And here I thought you were some random pesky Parfaedians or something" he responded shortly after.

"Of course it is me. The principal told me to check on you" I said as I walked to the sofa located by the window and plopped myself onto it. He is still busy on his potion making, though. Seriously, what's so fun in potion making when you have magic? What a weirdo. He then settled down his apparatuses and turned to see me. Ah, the cheeky grin of his. Bet there is something sinister behind it.

He pulled out his brand new potion he had just made and "Ta-da! The 'All Eyes on Me' potion!" he said as he held the potion bottle above our heads. " 'All Eyes on Me'?" I blinked several time in confusion as he let out a long sigh at my blurred state. "This potion will make the cookie that drank it more... attractive. Thus will make them gaining other cookies' love and attention" he explained short and clear about the function of the weird looking potion.

"Alright so what are you going to do with that weird potion?" that potion surely got my attention. "This is not 'weird potion' this is 'All Eyes on Me' potion" he corrected me. I rolled my eyes in annoyance and asked again "Fine.. the 'All Eyes on Me' potion. What are you going to do with it? Drink it?". A small grin appeared on his face as he inched closer to me, bringing the lips of the bottle closer to my mouth. He let out a small chuckle before saying "Im not going to drink it, sweetheart. But you are" he said before slightly tilting the bottle so that the liquid inside flowed into my mouth. I forced myself to drink the potion. Surprisingly, it tasted sweet. "Good~ What a good test subject you are!" he said as he patted my head.

I looked at him in wonder. "Did it work? Is it working?" I asked him secretly hoping for the potion to work. He laughed at me before decided to boop me on the nose. "Sadly, it didnt work" he said in a playful tone. I muttered out a small 'oh' at the result. I am actually relived but disappointed at the same time. "Wanna know why?" he asked. I nod at him eager to know the reason of the failed experiment. "Because... You already have all my love and attention. Why would you seek for another?" he explained bluntly while keeping that signature grin of his. "And also, it is just strawberry milk".

It was a rather annoying day though, for some of the less unfortunate. Those without dates, or anyone to love. You were one of these people.

Said someone to their date.

It made you gag.

That's when the ladder you were using to hang some decorations started to shake, and you fell. You never hit the ground though, since someone caught you.

"You should be more careful! If I didn't catch you, you would have gotten really hurt." Your friend Kougin Amann told you. She carefully placed you back onto the floor and gave you a bright smile. It was the smile she always had when she saw you. The smile that made you fall fully in love.

You nodded your head, not being able to find the right words to say.

"Oh, I have something for you, actually!" She said to you, cheerfully, taking out a small box of chocolates and handing them to you. She still had that confident smile on her face. You on the other hand, were a mess.

She looked a little surprised, and took them from your hand. "Oh my goodness, thank you so much!" She looked at them with soft eyes.

“Oh FUCK!”

Jackie jumped slightly at the sudden shout. “Chase, you okay?”

Chase hissed in pain. “My back is killing me, bro.”

“I take it things were a little hectic with the kids?”

“Yeah. I’m super happy that Stacy let me babysit them, but they’re getting so big and they just wouldn’t stop begging for piggyback rides. “I’ll get you some painkiller,” Jackie offered, then he smirked. “And some prune juice to wash it down, old-timer.”

Chase chuckled. “”Don’t you dare.”

Jackie laughed and left the room, soon returning with some painkiller and what was thankfully a normal glass or water. Chase tossed them into his mouth and chugged the whole glass of water without pausing. “Whoa, you’re going to choke man!” Jackie said.

Chase finished the water and sighed with content. His face twisted up, and he groaned. “Why can’t painkiller kick in instantly?”

Jackie frowned. “Seriously, how bad is it?”

Chase sucked in a breath. “Pretty bad, dude.”

“Okay, let’s get you to Schneep.”

Chase shook his head. “I don’t think I can walk that far, man. I could barely make it from the door to the couch earlier.”

“So that’s why you’ve barely moved.”

“No shit, dude.”

Jackie crossed his arms. “This is a pickle. I hate metaphorical pickles.”

“My back feels like the crunch sound a pickle makes.”

Jackie sighed. “What If I carry you?”

Chase squinted incredulously at his big brother, mouth just slightly open in confusion. “What? My spine would just shatter even more!”

Jackie put his fist to his chin. “What is it was a piggyback ride?”

Chase considered it. “It would be some sick irony...let’s try it. If it hurts you owe me five bucks.”

“Deal.”

With just one shout of pain later, Jackie was walking into Schneep’s infirmary, Chase clinging to him like a backpack. Schneep turned around in his chair upon hearing footsteps, and closed his mouth as soon as he saw his brothers. “What...are you doing?”

“Chase’s back hurts so he couldn’t walk.”

“You...Jackie, you could have come to fetch me. Then Chase would not have to endure the shake of a pigback ride!”

“Piggyback,” Chase corrected. Jackie thought about Schneep’s comment.

“You’re right. Sorry Chase.”

“No problem, bro. I didn’t think of it either.”

Schneep took his glasses off and rubbed his eyes. “For Pete sake...” Still, he couldn’t help but smile a little. “Okay, I will see what I can do to help. How bad is the pain?”

prune juice spends the vast majority of her time leading up to the triple cone cup down in her study experimenting with different potions and spells and routines — its isolating and lonely work but it’s necessary for her to have a good shot of winning against more melee based opponents like capsaicin and kouign-amann

of course she misses you dearly and keeps a photo of the two of you on a shelf in her study as she works — somewhere high up and well out of the way of any potential incendiaries or other damaging combinations she might come up with — and whenever she’s feeling demotivated or down she’ll look up at your smiling image

but a picture is nothing compared to the real thing so if she’s feeling especially down in the dumps or lonely, she’ll end things for the evening and go to seek you out — more than slightly in need of your unconditional love and endless physical affection

and the moment she catches sight of you it’s like a massive weight is lifted from her shoulders — you can see her physically relaxing and when you pull her into a hug you’ll hear her let out a heavy sigh of relief before she hugs you back

she accepts any and all affection you show her — only ever occasionally asking you to give her space if something requires her complete attention (which, granted, is extremely rare beyond competition season)

if you want to smother her face with kisses then she’ll merely laugh and smile and accept the onslaught — lightly grasping at your forearms as you brace yourself on her shoulders

if you prefer to lay your head on her chest and cuddle through the quieter evenings then she’s happy to accommodate, a book in one hand whilst the other smooths out your hair, rests on the back of your head or rubs soothing patterns on your back

if you just want to hold her hand or link arms with her whilst you’re at the market then she’ll let you do so — happily guiding you around, or letting you guide her, with that same calm smile on her face throughout

she’s neutral about pda generally but because she does work in a professional setting she does unfortunately have to ask you to tone it down a lot when you visit her at work — it’s not that she’s bothered by it, per say, she just doesn’t want to cause a scene and disrupt her colleagues who are working with very volatile things

he’ll provide them with everything he can in order to bolster their studies and would reward them greatly for every success — whilst also offering comfort and support if they faltered or struggled

shows up for each and every event that his children have on be that award ceremonies, sports, speeches or something else entirely

is his children’s biggest supporter and will finance every passion and hobby as best he can

encourages them to try everything once but will concede if they do genuinely not enjoy what they’re trying
