Do you ever think about how Fakir, after him and Ahiru finally broke everything that kept the town of Goldkröne in the ghostly hands of its writer, after they finally have some air of peace over the town finally being able to live in its intended early 2000s environment, that Fakir still feels at times like it's not real and that for a while he fears that if he closes his eyes it'll be back in Drosselmeyer's control. Like it just doesn't feel real to him during that first year of calm, until he feels the dull pain on his recovering hand injury and Ahiru who follows him without a pendant anywhere to be found.

He doesn't feel it's real, the calm finality of this town, but he makes sure to feel the scar on his hand. And he makes sure to hold the little duck and realize that she is who she has always been. Him and the town are finally living peacefully.

I think that if Fakir were to write Duck back into a girl, or actually any other scenario post canon, Duck would never say "I love you."

It's not that she doesn't feel it, we know this girl, she feels everything and feels it with her who self. But. I think there will forever be this lingering fear of actually saying the words. This niggling in the back of her mind that maybe, just maybe, that bit of Tutu stayed with her. Drosselmeyer is a tragedian after all, and that would be fitting parting shot from him. So she'll never say the words. She'll never write them down or mime them in earnest, as herself.

But Fakir doesn't care, because he knows her. Her love language is acts of service and quality time, just like his. And once she finally admits her fear to him, they develop a system. Like that one post about the couple who tap each other three times as a way of saying 'I love you', an acknowledgement and a reassurance that's just for them.

If anyone ever read Chris van Allsburg books growing up (The Sweetest Fig, Jumanji, Zathura, etc), he often features a white bull terrier in his books. But Fakir would totally do something similar. I feel like his stories would typically feature a little yellow duckling, even as an easter egg as a minor character.

⏳ How long have you been a fan/how did it happen?

I've been a fan since around 2011-ish! I watched Fruits Basket (and maybe Ouran? don't remember if that came before or after ptutu) on Hulu and got Princess Tutu in my recommended feed and decided to watch it! It's been my favorite anime ever since

📝 Any fan theories/headcanons you believe in?

Hmmm I have mixed feelings about it but I think overall I do believe that Fakir eventually turned Duck back into a girl. I definitely like that the finale left it kind of up to interpretation since I think showing her turned back would have cheapened the ending and sidestepped the message of "it's okay to be yourself, even if that form of you isn't what most people consider to be desirable/ideal." But yeah I do believe she got turned back into a human, partially for my own comfort and peace of mind that she didn't fully have to quit some of the things she loved, dancing being one of the most notable.

Random ask! any headcanons about the Ptutu cast's fav snacks?

Ok I’ve been thinking about this and I don’t have specifics for you HOWEVER I believe Duck is a true omnivore and will eat absolutely anything (except duck). It’s my cherished headcanon that she eats bugs off the ground because she doesn’t understand that isn’t acceptable in human spaces (and later she doesn’t care).

My other food related hc is that the other three become vegetarian a little while after learning Duck is a duck. It’s too weird eating animals, that’s like eating people.

my ptutu headcanon (its sort of disproven ?) is that because she is a duck ahiru can not read or write well (obviously she can speak though) (just likeME!!!) so fakir teaches her how to do both :thumbs_up:

PTutu Headcanon time!

Hey y’all, so as usual I was looking up references for a Ptutu related drawing for someone, this time for looking up references of Paulamoni.

Well, I finally decided to tell @zerozeroren my old headcanon that I had for years but could never verify, that Paulo from ep 6 in Ptutu

could possibly be based off of none other than RUDOLF NUREYEV, one of the iconic dancers of the twentieth century.

I MEAN LOOK AT HIM. DONT TELL ME HE DOESNT LOOK SIMILAR, ESPECIALLY WITH A UNIQUE DESIGN LIKE PAULO’S.

Like Nureyev’s the guy who choreographed the version of the Nutcracker that I grew up  and fell in love with (btw @therookieking412, @ultimate-cringelord you two know which ballet im talking about but for other click link to find the version on youtube)

 and could hardly compare it to other Nutcrackers afterwards!!! (which is also the only reason why I made this connection in the first place LOL) 

His biography is amazing, but I am too lazy to write it all out here and might butcher all the facts with my rose-tinted lenses.

AND ANOTHER HEADCANON to go with this, is that Paulamoni

could possibly be based off of Rudolf Nureyev’s long dance partner, who is also known for her role in The Sleeping Beauty before their partnership, MARGOT FONTEYN.

I have the slightest idea why Paulo and Paulamoni are named as such respectively, but this was something I really wanted to share!!!

💎 When and how did you discover your special interest?

i'm pretty sure i first watched it in early november! crazy cus it still feels like just yesterday! my exposure to it was awhile ago i had a mutual who briefly liked it, i learned then what it was but thats kinda all. and then after not seeing it or thinking of it for months, someone sent me an ask talking about it on my sideblog and asking me about it, and that kind of made me curious about it so i decided to watch it! ^_^

🔥 How many special interests do you have at the moment?

well in a way i'm *really* only hyperfixating on ptutu and some mlp right now but, even if i dont really wanna play and havent done so in awhile, i'd still say cr is a spin. i could easily sit down and go on long talks about the cookies themselves. so i guess i'd say 3, just one is more prominent currently !

🍭 What’s a headcanon/theory you have about your special interest?

does changing a bunch of stuff count as headcanons ...? cus everytime i touch something i always change *major* parts of it into near rewrites... i'll just answer this to the best of my ability...

spoilers for this next bit obvs, i guess my own little headcanon would be after the events of the series, fakir was able to find a way to keep ahiru with the ability to change between a girl and a duck, maybe with his ability to write things that come true. honestly i thought that wouldve been a greaaat way to end it but also there was the whole point of "lets go back to being our true selves" and even though i would've preferred her still being able to be human, i do respect the ending/not totally hate it! its a happy ending, everyone is content and it does leave some room for imagination afterwards...!
