On one hand I understand that Decarabian's micromanaging of Mondstadt is presented as a Bad Thing because the people desire freedom on the other hand I now imagine him as the world's most autistic god who stays in his tower planning the most efficient irrigation canels and supply routes and house layouts to force bestow upon the people

"It's been so long, hasn't it?"
Hello again! This is BETA Wally! He is very polite, and truthfully just wants to get out of wherever he is!
He is not entirely alive, unlike his counterpart (I think?). He can think and he can move his eyes (and eventually obtains a voice box so he can speak!) but he cannot move!
He's a little messed up, a little dusty... ("a little" may not be the best description... He has been lying there for a few years!) But that is okay! I think he is silly anyway!

Dog Books for Early Literacy
We have two great books and a craft today for little kids who love dogs - and kids who are a little scared of them. These books are perfect for kids who aren't reading on their own yet. They'll help them build important skills that'll set them up for reading success.
Tumblr media
I Got a New Friend by Karl Newsom Edwards
I Got a New Friend is a simple, well illustrated picture book about a girl getting a new puppy. The girl and the puppy are a bit overwhelmed at first, but come to be best friends. The story introduces young children to the care and responsibilities involved with getting a pet.
Skills
The simple text is large and easy to read, which is great for print awareness and letter knowledge.
Each page features one simple, illustrated sentence about dog care, which builds a child's background knowledge on the subject.
Practices
The easy text helps early readers practice reading.
Ask the child you are reading with about getting a new pet. This encourages talking and verbal skills in early readers.
Playing like the child just got a new pet helps build imagination.
Check out I Got a New Friend
Ben and the Scaredy-Dog by Sarah Ellis and illustrated by Kim LaFave
Ben and the Scaredy-Dog is about a young boy who is very afraid of dogs. New neighbors move in across the street, and with them comes Max, a large dog who has his own set of fears in his new home. Ben is invited over to the neighbor's house for a play date and is terrified when he is left alone with Max, but in the end both Ben and Max learn to overcome their fears.
Skills
This picture book has more complicated text, which builds a child's vocabulary regarding dogs and feeling scared.
The more complicated text can also help children to build background knowledge and more awareness of the world around them.
Practices
Talk to your child about something they are afraid of or nervous about. Not only does this help with verbal skills, but it also promotes socio-emotional skills.
Have your child practice writing their name and their pet/s names. This helps early readers but also works on fine motor skills children need to have to be ready for school.
Check out Ben and the Scaredy-Dog
Extend the book with a paper bag dog puppet!
We found this wonderful craft on Ottawa Mommy Club! Check out the blog for a free template and step-by-step instructions with detailed pictures.
Here's how ours turned out:
Tumblr media
We used shades of brown construction paper but black, white, or gray would work too!
To really reinforce those early literacy skills, have your child tell you a story using their new dog puppet once it's done!

As a 5th-Semester Animation Student, I am surprised at how little I actually yell about the animation of this Show.
Tumblr media
You guys-
You guys have no idea the actual genius of 9 Story Entertainment and BrownBag Films (The Production and Animation Studio for the Wild Kratts Episodes)
First of all. This is not traditional 2D animation.
This is Cut-Out Animation, also known as 2D Rigged Animation or Puppet Animation. Other shows you might be familiar with that use this technique are Bluey, Hilda, Rick and Morty, or the Big Hero 6 TV Show. There are more but these came to my mind first.
Cut Out Animation can be very limiting, because you work with 2D sprites in a 3D environment almost. The Tech Artists, sometimes called Character Builders, are the ones that take the design of the characters and creatures and build a 2D skeleton of sorts, putting bones inside of the png drawing and allowing it to move. It might sound easy, but trust me when I say it is a tiring process and the node-view is horrifying, haha.
I don't know if people would care for an actual deep-dive into the animation of the show, because believe me, I can talk a lot about it, as someone who is familiar with the animation technique, the technical/character building aspects of it, as well as someone who has actually access to the Software the Animation Studio is using to make these episodes (I kid you not when I say that I am in possession off all the tools to make my own Wild Kratts episode, minus the backgrounds because I hate doing those)
For those that care, THIS is what the animator sees before the episode gets finished, lol
Say hi to "Chad", he was part of the Shortfilm I made with some others in my third Semester at uni.
Tumblr media
The purple plots are controllers with which you move the character around.
The green lines and dots are deformers which make the character able to bend and stretch.
Also, the thing in the right window is the beloved node view, or at least a small aspect of it. All these small squares have meaning and I won't even try to explain
Tumblr media
While Cut Out Animation isn't my strong suit (Traditional 2D and 3D animation is) I would still be down to talk more about it if anyone cares to listen, lol. Even beyond the software capabilities, the show is actually very interesting to look at from a production standpoint and I would love to just talk more about the animation in general because let me tell you, it is much better than people give it credit for!

Lot of Eros in each degree 😯😯
A juicy, mystical breakdown of how your soul-level passion, erotic magnetism, and karmic desire shows up at each specific degree. Whether you’re drawn to someone or something in an unexplainable way, the degree reveals the vibe of that attraction.
0° – The Raw Flame
Innocent but intense. A new soul cycle of erotic awakening. Your desire is primal, unfiltered, and powerful even before it’s fully understood.
1° – The Spark of Obsession
Instant attraction. You fall fast. There’s a need to act on desire immediately, often before you know why.
2° – The Soul Glancer
Drawn to subtle signs. You experience desire through body language, eyes, or intuitive hits. The vibe before the touch.
3° – The Tease
Flirtation and wordplay turn you on. You may attract people through charm, storytelling, or wit. Erotic energy in conversation.
4° – The Craver
This degree builds slow tension. You long for stability and deep emotional connection before physical union.
5° – The Performer
Magnetic, showy, and dramatic. You radiate desirability. You may be drawn to confident, playful, or “main character” types.
6° – The Devoted
You express passion through acts of care or service. Desire is humble but profound. Can have a healing erotic aura.
7° – The Dreamer
Fantasy blends with physicality. You may fall for people you see in dreams, or become fixated on unreachable love.
8° – The Intense One
Powerful, obsessive, and karmic. Sexual desire feels like life-or-death. This is a “soul contract” degree.
9° – The Philosopher’s Flame
You seek spiritual or intellectual meaning in lust. Erotic energy comes through beliefs, ethics, or teaching moments.
10° – The Achiever
You’re drawn to status, control, or “out of reach” lovers. Desire often plays out in public or within goals.
11° – The Rebel Lover
You’re attracted to those who break rules or don’t fit the mold. Unexpected crushes, electric chemistry.
12° – The Channeler
Erotic experiences come through dreams, spiritual rituals, or altered states. You’re a vessel for divine desire.
13° – The Taboo Craver
Attraction to what’s hidden, forbidden, or off-limits. Erotic secrets and forbidden love themes show up here.
14° – The Strategist
You approach love and lust like a game of chess. Erotic energy is cool, clever, and captivating without trying.
15° – The Core Flame
This is the heart of the sign. Passion is pure, magnetic, and undeniable. You embody your desire without shame.
16° – The Mirror
You attract partners who reflect back your deepest desires and fears. Erotic connection often feels like déjà vu.
17° – The Transformer
Sex = transformation. You’re drawn to intense lovers who break you open emotionally or spiritually.
18° – The Underworld Flame
Erotic attraction lives in the shadows. Themes of pain, healing, or power. Deeply karmic and psychic.
19° – The Fated Flame
You experience desire that shifts timelines. The person who changed everything. Love that alters your path.
20° – The Builder of Bondage
You desire loyalty and structure in passion—but can become possessive. Erotic energy is deep and enduring.
21° – The Romantic Muse
Drawn to beauty, music, art, and people who feel poetic. You crave love that inspires you and sets your soul ablaze.
22° – The Wounded Obsession
This degree often brings passion through trauma, survival, or emotional tests. Love becomes a lesson in power and pain.
23° – The Oracle of Desire
You have a sixth sense for soulmates. Erotic visions, downloads, or karmic recognition moments. Lovers as messengers.
24° – The Seductress
Magnetic. You draw in desire with ease—sometimes unknowingly. May attract people who want to possess or claim you.
25° – The Elder Flame
You carry ancient longing. Love feels eternal. Often drawn to older souls, or lovers from past lifetimes.
26° – The Puppeteer
Erotic mind games. You’re skilled at reading others’ desires, and may attract complex dynamics around control or submission.
27° – The Soul Contract
Every lover has a lesson. You don’t fall in love — you fall into soul agreements. This degree holds unfinished business.
28° – The Volcano
Passion builds beneath the surface, then explodes. Deep craving. Can involve betrayal, testing, or fate vs. free will.
29° – The Anaretic Lover (Final Flame)
The most karmic, intense, and climactic degree. You’re here to master desire in this lifetime. Love lessons may be hard, final, or unforgettable.

Once the puppeteer, now the puppet. A Drone-Tessa concept I've been thinking about. Hopefully the 6 people who followed me after the 1st drone-Tessa post like this lol. If anyone here has any thoughts or feedback on this, tell me, I'd be glad to hear it!

A day in the Elliott manor,
It had been some time since Tessa had awoken. Or Cyn rather, as the Solver declared her name to be. Tessa couldn’t tell how much time went by in the ruins of Earth. The clocks hadn’t been working since Tessa awakened. And ever since the Absolute Solver broke Earth to pieces, the Elliott manor didn’t have a fluent day schedule. With each day having an sporadic length, sometimes lasting hours, minutes, or seemingly forever. Even during the night, light was still reflected onto the Elliott manor’s surface, but the other pieces of Earth. Ensuring there wasn’t any end to Cyn’s playing.
Tessa couldn’t tell whether she could call the planet Earth, anymore. The Solver turned Earth into a debris field, with its minor pieces orbiting its largest piece, which contained the Elliott manor, now Cyn’s liar.
“No, ‘the stage’ is a better name,” Tessa thought, while laying on her knees, scrubbing a rug with a sponge. “For a pointless house of living dolls.”
It was quiet in the Elliott manor. Cyn usually spent her time torturing someone, though not always Tessa. Cyn also played with possessed puppets on far-off galaxies, and now she was sitting dormant in Tessa’s old room, playing her game of cat and mouse with mankind. In the meantime, Cyn always ordered Tessa around the manor, cleaning it pointlessly.
The first thing Cyn ordered of Tessa, upon her awakening, was to clean the blood leftover from the Gala event. Which Tessa did, cleaning the room roof to floor, yet the blood mixed very well with carpets, dragging Tessa to a stalemate.
“Dammit, If she hates blood so much, why’d she flood the back woods with it?” Tessa exclaimed silently, while looking up. “I suppose this must’ve been how she thought when I was free.”
Tessa sighed, and looked to her right, where her eyes caught a portrait of her old self, with her drones, all assembled together alongside her parents.
“Ah, when I was free…” Tessa thought out loud.
Tessa looked at J's face, and smiled, thinking back to the laughter they once sang, and how eager they seemed to help her when her parents had seemingly left her.
“It was all an act,” Tessa thought, her smile frowning, as she turned back to the blood soaked carpet. “Just a mask.”
Tessa began scrubbing the carpet with renewed vigor.
“Mother was right, none of them really cared after all,” Tessa thought, remembering the emotionless look in J’s eyes when her builder got struck down. “Took my family, my home, even my whole name. Mother wasn’t even this cruel.”
Tessa’s scrubbing slowed.
“I really was just made to be someone’s fool, wasn’t I?” Tessa thought. “First pushed around by the parents, and now by an eldritch horror.”
Tessa stopped scrubbing, before slamming her fist down on the carpet.
“What am I thinking? I am still an Elliott, no matter what Cyn says,” Tessa thought. “And Elliott’s don’t quit.”
Tess’s face grew angry.
“Some day, I will get out of here. I have to,” Tessa thought, slamming the sponge repeatedly into the stained rug. “And when I do, I’ll burn this stupid blonde wig, I’ll call myself by my real name…”
Tessa gave one last knock on the floor.
“And I will kill every last one of those 4 traitors,” Tessa thought.
Tessa’s momentum slowed to a halt, her eyes closed in contemplation. Finally, Tessa let out a sarcastic laugh, as she begrudgingly lifted herself up, and sat up against a wall, trying to breathe, yet her own metallic body failed to draw in air. Letting out a few shallow laughs, she felt an urge to cry, yet no tiers greeted her metallic face. Finally, Tessa sighed, and slouched back.
“But how?” Tessa said quietly.

Female Koozebanian Creature
PERFORMER Jerry Nelson
DEBUT 1974
DESIGN Jim Henson
BUILDER John Lovelady
The female charges at her mate — "hoop! hoop!"
The Female Koozebanian Creature is a red long-nosed alien from the planet Koozebane. She debuted in The Muppets Valentine Show taking part in the Galley-oh-hoop-hoop with a male Koozebanian creature.
During the sacred mating ritual, the female reacts to the male's "wonk wonk" and "hargee" with the traditional response of hysterical laughter. When the male calls out "me maboobee oh yahoo!," she replies with "wow, stavite!" The two then charge at each other with the male shouting "Galley-oh" and the female responding with an enthusastic "hoop hoop!" Their collision results in an explosion and they instantaneously dematerialize as a litter of pups appear in their place.
The character was designed by Jim Henson and built by John Lovelady in 1974; materials used for the puppet include soft foam, paint, plastic, fur fabric, marabou feathers, velour, self-adhesive vinyl, and ostrich feathers.[1] Since 2017, the original puppet has been on display along with the other Koozebanians as a part of The Jim Henson Exhibition at the Museum of the Moving Image.
The 2024 social media campaign The Muppets: 70 Years referred to the character as "Koozebanian Mama."

Oh and speaking of the clear plans for future games, I know a lot of people are worried about the executors being a retroactively fitted secret organisation puppeting events and I just wanna direct people to this part of the chant of light (from the canticle of silence, written by archon Hessarian based on historical records)
Tumblr media
This is about the magisters sidereal and documents an acolyte talking to the high priest of Dumat and encouraging him to work with “the builders” (worshippers of Urthemiel, the high priest being the Architect of the Works of Beauty. Yes that Architect) to enter the golden city.
I’m pretty sure that guy is an executor, and this is the extent of the whispering and nudging. This guy did not come up with the idea of breaking into the golden city, he did not tell Corypheus to break into the golden city, the old gods (or, the evanuris through their archdemons) still whispered to make it happen to achieve their goals. The magisters still did it out of their own desires. There was just also another guy who, for his own purposes, was encouraging this and giving tips to make it happen.
Executors did not tell Loghain to abandon the fight at ostagar, or start a civil war. They just might have encouraged his paranoia by mentioning why the wardens had previously been banished. He still acted on his own accord.
Executors did not tell Bartrand to steal the idol and go insane, but maybe they told him about an interesting site in the deep roads (note that the teaser doesn’t imply the executors were involved in Meredith and orsinos nonsense at all).
Ive spoken about this at length before, but this isn’t a secret organisation puppeting things from behind the scenes. They appear to have a clear goal (get to the blight) and have nudged some specific events to favour them getting that goal (break into its prison, allow it to run rampant without warden intervention, bring the key to its prison back into play, possibly twice since it’s not clear who told the guy who removed the idol from the statue how to do that) and basically failed every time.
This isn’t secret over the seas illuminati secretly responsible for every problem we’ve faced. They’ve meddled with events we have seen in the past, but everyone still acted of their own free will and they’re not going to turn out to have been the villains behind everything all along.
