For all your fic needs. :) Well, at least if your fic needs involve a lot of Steve/Nancy/Jonathan and/or gen with lots of found-family feels. There’s way more than this in my bookmarks but I’ve been working on this post for days, and figured I’d better just post it.

Some WiPs I’m enjoying

Open Doors by futureboy (gen + canon pairings) This is an advent-style series of 25 short fics about the characters in various combinations exchanging gifts in the days leading up to Christmas 1984. Each one is self-contained but there’s a general meta-narrative as well. It’s sweet and lovely with something for every character, and it’s giving me all the feels. ❤

so take the wheel and I will take the pedals by pepperfield (canon pairings but mostly gen) Steve being friends with the kids post-S2. My feels. :')

fall down the rabbit hole head first by RiverTuonen (tags suggest OT3 eventually, mostly canon pairings so far) AU in which Steve is taken by the Demogorgon in 1x02 instead of Barb. (Spoiler: he doesn’t die.) There’s only one chapter so far, so I don’t know how frequently it’ll update (or ever), but it’s a nice long chapter that goes all the way through season one and stands on its own pretty well if the story stops here.

winter violets in the spring by langolier (51K, Nancy/Jonathan + Steve, futurefic) I already recced this in its own post, but I’m reccing it again here because it’s just that good and it needs more love! ❤ The monster-hunting future for the trio that we (and they) deserve, in which Nancy and Jonathan are trying to figure out how to fit back together after a kinda-sorta breakup, Steve is close friends with both of them, and the monsters didn’t stop coming when the gate to the Upside Down closed.

Talk Me Down by anomalation (55K, Steve/Nancy/Jonathan) Post-S2 OT3 get-together fic, with a long, slow, one-step-forward-and-three-steps-back redemption arc for Billy, which I found myself unexpectedly sold on (but might not be everyone’s cup of tea).
