Conscientious human parents often allow
Conscientious human parents often allow their children to undergo difficulties and pain. Even though the parents could shield against some predicaments, they allow problems because the experience produces greater good within their children—independence, perseverance, strength, courage, wisdom, and maturity. An infinitely wise, just, and loving God may similarly allow evil and suffering to exist because they serve a greater purpose for human beings and the universe, and ultimately lead to the greater glory of God himself.

Bitter Sweet Symphony
Do you want to know why New York and Paris are the top two on my bucket list of places that I want to visit again? Well, simply because they hold a special place in my heart.
I gave birth to my daughter in New York, U.S.A. and it was the beginning of a bitter sweet symphony for me. I will never forget giving birth to a beautiful and smart daughter who is one of my life, my everything.
So why Paris? It's the city of love and the most romantic city in the world. Oh yeah, you can assume that I'm a hopeless romantic and a sweet person as well, hence, Paris is one of my favorite travel destinations in the world.
A lot has happened since the birth of my daughter until the past couple of years and all I can say is that the roadblocks I have encountered have been pretty tough. All the struggles have been difficult but I am STILL HERE.
Hence, I have promised myself that moving forward, I will love myself more and focus on myself first. I will keep shining and illuminating the paths of those who are in "darkness". Those people who have made the wrong turn and are not on the righteous path. I know that we are human beings and being human means we are not perfect. We make mistakes. But the most important thing is we repent, learn from our mistakes, and trust and believe in God. Never lose hope, keep the faith, and trust God's perfect timing. In the end, it's our choices that will make a big difference in our lives. It's never too late to live a "purpose driven life".
I believe in fate and destiny and I know that God intended me to be where I am now. Thank you so much, God, for answering my prayers. I am, indeed, beyond blessed!

A Purpose-Driven Life: Finding and Following Your Calling
Tumblr media
In an era filled with distractions and myriad paths to take, finding and following your calling is akin to discovering a compass in the vast wilderness of life. This pursuit isn't just about a career or profession; it's about uncovering a deeper sense of meaning and direction that guides your decisions, influences your actions, and shapes your legacy. This article explores the journey towards a purpose-driven life, offering actionable insights to help you navigate this quest with clarity and conviction.
Understanding Your Calling
Your calling is that inner voice, a compelling force that drives you towards activities, causes, or professions that resonate deeply with your core. It's where your passions, skills, and the needs of the world intersect, often encapsulated in the Japanese concept of "Ikigai." Identifying your calling begins with introspection and reflection:
Self-Reflection: Dedicate time to self-reflection, considering what truly brings you joy, fulfillment, and a sense of accomplishment. Journaling your thoughts and experiences can provide clarity and reveal patterns or themes in your interests and passions.
Feedback Loop: Seek feedback from close friends, family, or mentors who know you well. They can offer valuable insights into your strengths and the impact you've had through your actions and decisions.
Exploration: Engage in diverse experiences to broaden your perspective and discover new passions. Volunteering, traveling, learning new skills, or even taking on different roles within your current job can illuminate previously hidden paths.
Aligning with Your Values
A purpose-driven life is deeply aligned with your personal values. These values act as your moral compass, guiding your decisions and actions. To ensure your calling aligns with your values:
Identify Your Core Values: List out your top values—such as integrity, compassion, creativity, or resilience. Reflect on how these values have shaped your life choices and how they can guide your pursuit of your calling.
Value-Based Decision Making: With your core values in mind, evaluate your current life and career choices. Are they in alignment? If not, consider what changes you might need to make to live more congruently with your values.
Setting Purpose-Driven Goals
Once you have a clearer understanding of your calling and how it aligns with your values, it's time to set purpose-driven goals. These goals should be specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART), but they should also resonate with your deeper purpose:
Long-Term Vision: Craft a vision for your life that incorporates your calling. What does success look like in this context? Imagine your life in 5, 10, or 20 years if you fully embrace your calling.
Break It Down: Translate your long-term vision into medium and short-term goals. What steps do you need to take this year, this month, or even this week to move closer to your calling?
Action Plans: For each goal, develop a clear action plan. What resources do you need? Who can help you? What obstacles might you face, and how will you overcome them?
Embracing the Journey
Remember, finding and following your calling is a journey, not a destination. It requires patience, resilience, and the willingness to adapt and grow. Along the way:
Stay Flexible: Your understanding of your calling may evolve as you grow and gather new experiences. Stay open to revisiting and refining your path.
Celebrate Progress: Acknowledge and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small. Each step forward is a victory on this journey.
Seek Support: Surround yourself with a community of mentors, peers, and loved ones who support and encourage your pursuit of a purpose-driven life.
In conclusion, a purpose-driven life transcends the superficial markers of success, offering a profound sense of fulfillment and direction. By understanding your calling, aligning it with your values, setting purpose-driven goals, and embracing the journey with flexibility and resilience, you can navigate life's complexities with confidence and clarity. Remember, the pursuit of your calling is one of the most rewarding journeys you can undertake, filled with growth, learning, and the joy of contributing to something larger than yourself.

The Purpose Driven Life
God is real, no matter how I feel.
Circumstances are not always pleasant..
The deepest level of worship is praising God in spite of pain, thanking God during a trial, trusting him when tempted, surrender while suffering loving him when he seems distant.
Relationships have season of closeness and seperation
God sometimes hides his face from us.
Sin disconnects us from God.
The common mistakes Christians make in worship today is seeking an experience rather than seeking God.
The feeling of abandonment and estrangement from God has nothing to do with sin rather it is a test of faith.
Seeking feelings is not worship.
Faith is not feelings.
God can handle doubt, anger, fear, grief, confusion, and questions.
Focus on who God is.
God is:
good and loving
all powerful
notices every detail
in control
has plans for my life
will save me
Friendship based on emotion is shallow
Never forget what God has already done for you.
Jesus gave up everything so you could have everything.
we were formed for God's family.
God wants a family and created us for it
God is love so he treasures relationships.
HE desires a family there is no need.
The family of God includes believers of past, present, and future. You become part of human family by 1st birth and member of God is by a 2nd birth. This is a spiritual birth. Spiritual family is more important than the physical family. Spiritual family lasts eternity.
God will free us from pain, death, suffering in our eternal inheritance.
It is the highest honor to be in Gods family.
Life is all about love and God is love! Love is the foundation of every command given.
Love unselfishly this is not an easy task.
No matter what I say, believe or do without love I am bankrupt.
Business is the greatest enemy to relationships.
Love leaves legacy and is the secret of lasting heritage.
We will be evaluated on our love.
All your taking with you is your character.
Love is time. when you give someone a portion your time, you're giving them a portion your life that you won't get back.
Your time is your life.
The most desired was focused attention, giving time is a sacrifice. Sacrifice is the essence of love.

Here in death's shadow, the resurrection provides hope, purpose, meaning, and confidence in the presence of death.
Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?’… We do not live to ourselves, and we do not die to ourselves. If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. [John 11:25-26; Romans 14:7-8]

It’s not what I have been through in my life that defines my past, it’s how I got through it that has made me the person I am today.
I have been through a lot of struggles and challenges in the past. I thought I would never overcome them, however, I’m still here… Breathing and still alive. For that I will be forever grateful to God for never leaving my side.
I could say that I’m a completely different version of myself than I was in the past. Thankful for the struggles and challenges I’ve overcome as if not, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. A better “Ally”, honed by my life changing situations and challenges.
I’m looking at the brighter side of life… Thinking that everything happens for a reason and those struggles and challenges are given to me by God to test my faith in Him.
Still thankful, grateful, and blessed and counting my blessings. I will always be gifted and blessed

Character Matters
I am still remembering Memorial Day as I type this blog today. I have a dear friend who makes suggestions to me about potential blog subject matter. And, daily, he gives me encouraging and supportive comments about what I blog about via text messaging me. In the words of Dionne Warwick, ”That’s What Friends Are For”. So, for my Memorial Day blog, he suggested I post one of the photos of the many…

Let Your Light Shine
Let Christ be the light that shines within.
Lord, as I look upon my days, I see now that nothing matters more than knowing you. My faith in you is my all; in that, I look to you in every part of my life. I see from your perspective the needs in the world around me, and my deepest desire is one you put in me to be a part of your plan to fill those needs as a worker for you. I pray that I will put you first over everything in my life. You…
