Looks preety similar to this lady here (I'll put them together so you see):

Half-lidded eyes, black hair&eyes, small eyebrows, curly hair... Dandan's skin is lighter probably because of low sun exposure (dungeon), and he has tons of freckles because he preety.

This two are clearly relatives if not siblings.

Flertom is a mirror image of the lady up there. She got Chil's eyes. She even has almost the same haircut (a bit longer). She's clearly the mother. We've solved Chilchuck's wife mystery.

But this wasn't what I was going to say.

This implies that Wife and Dandan both knew Chilchuck since their childhood. Because there's no way that Chil was just friend of the sister. They're both close to the same age, and I'll say Dandan is a Younger sibiling (she gives big sis vibes, and he gives young bro vibes). So either she introduced him to her brother or he introduced him to his sister and they became best friends as kids.

Could you imagine how their relationship was after Chil's Wife left him?

He knows he has to say something, but he doesn't want to end his relationships. At the end he takes his sister's side. He distances a bit from Chilchuck, calling him an "aquitance" rather than a friend. It isn't that he hates him, is just that it's complicated. And they both know it. They're in good terms tho, they just aren't best friends anymore and they don't talk about it. Their worry is the guild, not their personal stuff.

That's why Dandan introduces Chilchuck to Laios. If they were in bad terms, he would've suggested any other half-foot. They both priorize the guild and general safety of their own race. That's why Dandan suggests Chil instead of a less experienced hafling. He cares about the union and respects Chil's time and experience in dungeons. They're on good terms, at least good enough. Summing up, I get the feeling Dandan doesn't particularly likes Chil after what happened with his sister, but he respects him at least.

pac has like fear yanked up to 100 with survival instincts cranked down to 0. he was afraid of bad coming up to him while building the track enough to talk to bagi, but then when bad came back and pressed him to eat a cake he made in a very suspicious fashion, he just swallowed it down without a second thought. had seconds, even. he was terrified enough to look super suspicious to bad surrounding the missing photo today, and then immediately downed himself right in front of him where he could have easily been killed - and he was. he’s terrified of cellbit but also considers him his close friend, trusts him more than anything. he’s like so nervous like a startled cat, extremely aware of danger, but also like. jumps right towards the danger. kicks his feet twirls his hair at the danger. Oh i get it, the twitter dudebros are losing their shit about aew doing dangerous stunts bc they don’t believe that wrestlers could care about and trust each other enough to pull that kind of stuff off safely

They’re stuck in the mentality Fight Club is a commentary about: how men are socialized to not accept physical touch from another man unless it’s violent, and because of that, violence is the only way to express intimacy with other men. They watch Fight Club and miss the point completely and think “yes that is the way to be in real life, this is totally a thing to aspire to”

And I can see how at first glance wrestling seems that way. But (and keep this down, okay?) wrestling isn’t real. Male wrestlers are playing with this concept constantly, but in real life the best male wrestlers don’t have those issues. They’re well adjusted and know how to care for other men, and prioritize that care to keep each other safe, while also being secure in their gender. It’s possible to be huge and strong and also be capable of platonic intimacy

Thinking about this more, I haven’t seen anywhere near the criticism of the Stat/Willow street fight. Okay, but is it just me or does Wilson have symptoms of eldest daughter syndrome??

He is incapable of standing up for himself because he always has to sacrifice his personal needs for the sake of others, always the mediator and the voice of reason, he’s the person others call in a crisis but he’s rarely if ever seen reaching out himself because, again, Wilson’s needs < other’s needs.

He rarely expresses anger, frustration, or any negative emotions that go beyond the superficial except occasionally to house, who is the only person who doesn’t expect him to be The Perfect Model Human Being at all times.

And we’re all well aware Wilson is fucked up on Many Levels.

Also, he went and got himself depression enough that circa s3 was being medicated for it but never even slightly mentioned it to anyone. Ever.

Need I even mention the part where he was his mentally ill brother’s caretaker and feels deeply responsible for anything and everything relating to him???
