Remy holds Luna up singlehanded and looks directly into her mischievous little smiley eyes at four in the morning, his hair all fallen and messed up, still half-asleep.

"You should be 'sleep mon petite." His voice is thick and rasping as he blinks up at her.

He squints and she giggles behind her dummy, reaching her chubby little hands out towards him and making a disgruntled hum when she can't quite touch his face.

Pulling her in, Remy blows a raspberry into her stomach and shifts Luna back into his arms properly, letting her tug on his loose hair.

There's a thud from the other room as Pietro throws himself back down onto their bed.

"Bottle's ready." He calls, face audibly smushed into the duvet.

On cue, the bottle-heater beeps from down the hallway.

"Food, den bed for you Lulu. And bed for Remy too. Bed for everybody!" Remy tells her as he walks through to the kitchen.

"No third person around the baby, LeBeau." Pietro once again distantly groans.

Remy grins widely, chuckling softly into the dim light as Luna suckles on her bottle in the protective cradle of his arms.
