Random TMR Headcannons

• Frypan is Gally's best friend. He's the only one who knows how to calm him down.

• Frypan once went on strike and wouldn't cook his famous stew because everyone made fun of it. It lasted just two weeks.

• When they were Runners Gally always wanted Newt to be his partner in the Maze.

• Aris loves history books.

• Aris is just naturally a night owl.

• Rachel and Aris were together at one point or extremely close to it.

• Aris always blamed himself for Rachel's death.

• Harriet almost died in the Maze but never told anyone.

• Minho called Gally eyebrows instead of Greenie.

Why did Grace Melville have the extra hair at the bottom for her Parr hairstyle, when Leesa didn't? It can't be her natural hair, Grace's hair wasn't *that* long.

It was Grace's Howard wig! They've done the same thing for a number of other swalts:

Rachel Rawlinson, Harriet Caplan-Dean, Grace Melville (rachelrawlinson, harrietdeany, l.eesa) They usually try to make two or three wigs for each swalt and reuse each for a few different roles. Howard ponytails are (relatively) quick and easy, so it's been standard for a long time now that every UK swalt gets one. The back ponytail has been a common enough Parr style for a while (in various configurations) and the guaranteed Howard ponytail adds some movement and volume to it, so it's a good fit. (Note: Collette Guitart isn’t included in this post but she also had some similar styles) Leesa Tulley didn't have that because her Howard is of course hot pink, haha. She did eventually get a ponytail though:

Left is her Parr debut, where she wore a similar hairstyle to her Cleves. Both center and right are from later shows, where they switched her over to a loose ponytail. I’m not sure if it’s her hair or her Seymour back piece; they've used full wigs/backpiece similarly for other swalts like Danielle Rose (who of course also doesn't have a neutral Howard pony) and Esme Rothero/Harriet Watson who both have full wigs restyled for every role.

Sonya let out a frustrated groan and turned to Harriet. “Wanna help me break the door down?”

Harriet looked around the tiny closet they’d been shoved into. “I don’t think we have enough room.”

The slightest movement made them brush up against each other.

Not that they minded.

Sonya sighed. “Sorry,” she said. “I know you wanted to keep things just between us for now.”

Harriet smiled. “Don’t worry. Turns out we’re not subtle.”

I drew more of Harriet and Theodore

So the first one is just supposed to be Leon excitedly telling his mom about his new find, and all the stuff he can think of about it, while she attentively listens. She wants to support her son’s dreams of being an archaeologist

Then in contrast I drew Rachel getting mad at Theodore for something, probably either a prank or just some teasing at her expense. Also, I drew him with his fedora, and I think he looks good with it, and I’m warming up to his hair. Also I made his suit lighter just because I thought the colors were too dark, especially when next to his already dark brown hair. I didn’t draw his scarf for whatever reason. I am keeping it in though

Finally I drew Theodore and Rachel at their parents’ funeral, mostly because I wanted to draw Theodore not being smarmy. Also the suit he’s wearing there is not the suit he wears in current day, it’s just that the suits look similar. I tried to show that by making the button on it a different color. Also, I did kind of take inspiration from Desmond and Descole’s outfits for these ones

Also as you can see, I tried to draw them in the Layton style, and I think I did pretty well! Much better than last time I tried it. Maybe now I’ll actually go back and finish my attempts to draw flashback Bronev family in the Layton style

Also after drawing Theodore here, I realized he looked like a hipster. That was not my intention, he is not a hipster, he’s from like the 1900s-1910s

I don't want to accidentally start an internet war or anything but I do want to put the point out there that the Pretty Cure fandom's reaction to the Glitter Force sub-fandom is basically like if I'm like "Hi, my favourite Animal Crossing villager is Megan, I think she's pretty, I love the colour purple and she has a great personality. Not the best personality, but her personality is cute so she's still number one in my heart" and someone responds with "*Candy"

The 20th anniversary featuring  Charles Hart, Earl Carpenter, Gillian Lynne, ALW, Sarah Brightman, Rachel Barrell, and Andrew Bridge.

The 21st anniversary featuring Ramin Karimloo and Leila Benn Harris. This also marked the first anniversary where both leads were played by POC.

The 10,000th performance featuring Will Barratt, Sofia Escobar, ALW, Michael Crawford, and Stephen John Davis.

The 25th anniversary performances at the Royal Albert Hall.

The 12,000th performance with Geronimo Rauch, Harriet Jones, and Liam Tamne in the leads.

The 30th anniversary (with a 4 Phantom/2 Christine performance instead of the usual 4/1)

The 33rd anniversary; understudy Adam Robert Lewis had to take over mid-show for Josh Piterman.

The 35th anniversary-- the first one celebrated in person since Covid.

The 36th anniversary, celebrated yesterday!
