Summary: Radovid baked gingerbread cookies in the form of sorceresses and left the tray on the table. When he returned, Adda had already eaten all the cookies

He had just gotten done with making the gingerbread dough, and the smell was trickling down. Surrounding Radovid in a smooth scent of cinnamon and ginger. He works fast, to make sure that the dough rises right. He got out the cutest cookie cutter. 

Not but a few weeks ago Radovid was out walking around the local market. Searching for the best things they had to sell, and the cutters caught his eye. In shapes of little wizard with pointer hats, and sorceress with what looked like their hands being held out and a puff od magic coming from their held out hand. Radovid fell for them immediately, and then the second thought he had was to make little cookies for his lover. His beautiful light of his life Adda. 

So he did exactly that, he was halfway done with the dough. He went on the search around the small kitchen for the cookie cutters. He hadn’t bought them to long ago, so they couldn’t have gone very far. With that by the time Radovid found them the dough and risen in the bowl. The dough spilled out of the bowl as Radovid began to get everything ready for the cookies. 

Adda was out, with Geralt from what she had told her lover just a few days ago. But according to her very words she said that she would be coming home today, so Radovid got to work. Rolling the dough out and cutting the little shapes out of the dough. It was a rather time-consuming process. Waiting here for this to heat up, waiting for this to rise in the bowl, but Radovid found a great calm in the whole thing. He enjoyed being able to just dance around his kitchen without anyone else getting in the way.

Once Radovid was done with cutting the shapes out, Radovid put the cookies on a tray slipping them over the heat. I watched for only a few moments as the cookies began to change from their light brown color to deep orange. Toasted just the right way under the red-hot flames of the heat. He waited until the alarm went off signally that the cookies should be done, and when Radovid took a peak he was more than excited. 

The cookies had a beautiful golden hue to them and had risen perfectly not even daring to touch each other on the tray. Radovid also knew that he would have to wait for the cookies to cool before taking one to savor it. There were a few things that he needed to take in order to make sure these cookies were ready before Ciri made it home. He made sure the cookies were cooked through and slipped from the heat of the oven.

Laying them perfectly on the counter. The tray slipped into the pile of dishes in the sink. All while Radovid waited for the cookies to cool he went to find some coloring for the icing he was wanting to put on the cookies. The cookies had come out perfectly. Cookies that look like his lover, a woman most definitely showing off her magical powers. He walked from the kitchen to go find the dye. 

Adda was greeted with the best smell on the planet. A ginger and cinnamon mixture of goodness. She was dragged towards the cookies sitting on the counter, just a few definitely less then ten were sitting together. Waiting for her to devour them. She breathed in the impossible smell of happiness and flavour. She head fell into a spell of dizziness has she let her hand pick up the first cookie of the night.

 It was soft, but not hard and the moment the falvors touched her tongue she moaned into the taste. She was loving them, and let’s be honest after spending a few days with Geralt was more then opkay with eating more then her share of cookies. The next few cookies she ate melted on her tongue she swears she doesn’t even feel like she’s chewing them, the last one is probably the best through because she finally see the shape of the cookie. 

It’s sorceress. It’s a great shape, and make her think of Radovid. Since she had made it home she had yet to see her lover. Wondering where he was was taken out of her thought when she bite into the cookie. Once again the flavors melted against her tongue, but this time she was caught. When she looked up Radovid was msile over at her. “I was planning on icing them, ya know dear.” He said simply walking over to the empty tray now. With a mouth fulled of cookie and crumbles Adda tried to talk but Radovid just put a finger up to lips. “Chew your food baby then talk to me.”

 Radovid set the dye on the counter and waited for her to finish. “Holy shit babe these are wonderful. Did you do this for me?” Adda asked and of course, Radovid shook his head. “I was hoping to have done before you arrived home, but it seems that you didn’t need icing on them. Where they good?” He asks her. She rolls her eyes and moans in satisfaction. “They were divine Radovid.” With that Adda kisses him gently on his lips. Ginger and cinnamon melt onto his tongue for the first, and only time that night. He moans and falls for the flavor hitting his tongue. “Thank you Radovid. This is the best Christmas homecoming gift ever.” Adda says with a gentle kiss on his cheek.
