Corvids are exceptionally intelligent and communicative birds! We may not know how intelligent lots of other species are, because they do not communicate with us in a way that we can understand, or may not even care to communicate with us at all, but crows and ravens certainly do. They can remember people who were kind to them or people who were cruel, and they will get together with their friends to get back at bullies or bring you gifts to show their affection.
