You and Randy first meet through work - him being a superstar and you being an interviewer backstage

He’s one of the first friendly faces to make you feel welcome in the company

You’d even go as far as saying he was the first actual friend you’d made

Fast forward a good few months and several group and duo hangouts, you both become practically inseparable when your schedules allow it

Fans and even your own coworkers begin to suspect there’s something going on between you two

Though you’re both simply close friends, even best friends

You both ignore it for the most part and try not to let the thoughts and opinions of others impact your friendship too much

Though it’s different for Randy - he catches feelings first and while he’s typically rather upfront, he decides to bury them deep down rather than act upon them

He doesn’t want to ruin your friendship or make things awkward at work at all

But when Randy finally decides to bite the bullet and tell you how he feels, he’s too late

When you two grab lunch one day, you tell him someone’s asked you out and that you have a date on the weekend

Randy puts on a smile and tells you he’s happy for you, but he’s consumed by jealousy and regret on the inside

He knew he cared for you, but knowing you’ll be seeing someone else makes him realise exactly how much he does

The weekend rolls around and he calls you later in the night to find out how your date went

You tell him that the person upped and left halfway through, using a flimsy excuse

Randy doesn’t hesitate to leave his hotel to come and get you when you tell him you’re still at the restaurant

 He gives you the biggest hug when he gets to you, and you have a brief cry in his arms

He gets frustrated on your behalf over the person - he calls them a fool for leaving, that they don’t know what they’re missing out on, that it’s their loss

“I never would have done something like this. I’d treat you so much better than this. I thought I’d lost my chance by not saying anything before, and I didn’t want to do it like this, but fuck it. I love you.”

You’re stunned for a moment while you process it, but Randy’s admission makes you realise you’ve been subconsciously burying your own feelings for longer than you may have thought

Randy always exuded confidence, but the Ruthless Aggression Era brought out a new side of him.

He was more cocky than usual and sometimes a little rude to you. But he did have a soft side, and it always shocked you when he let it out.

When he realizes that he hurt your feelings, Randy pulls you into his chest and presses a soft kiss on the top of your head, letting you know how sorry he is.

However, you did relish the cocky side of him. It brought about a more dominant side to him, which you were never going to say no to.

You have never mentioned it to him, but you loved it when he lost a match because that meant a rough sex session to let his anger out, and you were always giddy just thinking about it.

There was a negative side to his cockiness.

He would become much more protective and jealous, which would cause friction in your relationship.

"Randy, I don't understand why you're acting like this. Everybody here knows we're together; they know I'm yours."

"I love you, Y/N, that's why. And I can't stand it when somebody gets too close to you. It makes me think they're going to take you away from me, and I can't stand the thought of it."

You both talked it through, and Randy promised to be less scary and jealous when others were around.

Screaming. It’s always screaming. Randy sighed ignoring the fact of his little was having a hissy fit. A bad one at that. She would scream at the top of her lungs to try and get what she wants. Or she would tear up the house, funny thing this is before she fully slips. She would scream and cry at Randy for not listening and throw pillows at him. Surprisingly he’s a calm being with Y/N, anyone else would have had been on the floor. “Y/N last warning-“ “Fuck you and your warnings!” She yelled and walked away to the master bedroom crying. Randy sighed, he hated seeing her like this, but he rides it out. She only gets like this after work. But Randy gets tired of it, only for her to scream and cry herself a headache. He got up from the island in the kitchen that he was sitting at and he walked up to the room after a good 10 minutes. He was at the door hearing small sobbing, he sighed and he knocked on the door mimicking the knock from Frozen. “Is it ok if I come in princess?” “…Yes…” He walked in and saw not a woman full of anger and rage and didn’t know how to control it to save her life, but a little girl, eyes full of tears and wearing one of his shirts. “Hey sweetie.” He smiled, he forgets all the bad seeing her like this. Him needing to protect her, care for her, and reassure her that no matter how bad it is between them that Daddy is always gonna be there.

“Daddy…” she started to cry again knowing she was yelling and screaming again. He hugged her close and kissed her cheek. “It’s ok princess, daddy’s not mad. But we got to remember our breathing exercises. Remember, if I gotta do them you have to as well.” She nodded and she sniffled wiping her tears away. He got on the bed a different way, facing her while crossing his legs close, “Let’s go, 1…2…” Y/N readies herself some and started the breathing. He couched her through it and smiling as I saw her crying stopped. “That’s it, again. 1…2…Tuna.” He smirked as she was caught off guard and giggled some at the word. “Daddy you mean 3.” “Aw shoot, I’m forgetting how to count again. My fault sweetie. Lemme see…1…2…4-“ “No! It’s 3!” She covered her mouth as she heard herself yell again. Randy just sighed and smiled removing her hands from her mouth. “It’s ok baby, daddy was being silly. That was on me.” She smiled and jumped on him hugging him close. He was honest the only one that could deal with her mannerisms. “I know work made you feel icky. So let’s get you comfy and we can make some food.” “Can we have pizza?” She smiled. “You had pizza last night, but I’ll make a deal. You want pizza again? Olives, and mushrooms.” Her nose turned up and she wanted to abandon the pizza idea, but she wanted stuffed crust. “Can I have stuffed breads?” He smiled and nodded and they shook hands on the idea.

“Ok so, like I said before, you can’t be cheating in uno like this.” Randy said laughing after Y/N was simply just stacking cards down in the pile. “It’s not cheating daddy.” She grumbled some and waited for his turn. “Yes it is! How are you just gonna stack like that!” Randy saw she had one more card left. “Uno!” She smiled and giggled happy she was winning. “I’ll let you have that one since you had a bad day today at work, but any other game we do? That’s my win.” Randy smirked. She rolled her eyes and got up off the daybed putting her plate away. “Daddy?” Randy looked up demolishing a slice. “Yea princess what’s up?” He asked chewing but covering his mouth while facing her. “I’m sorry for yelling and screaming…” he finished that slice and sighed getting up as well putting the box on the stove and hugging her. “I know you don’t mean it baby, that’s why I’m patient with you. We take our time everyday and you are trying your best and it’s ok.” She hugged him back so happy that somehow this force of nature, apex predator, and what ever else they call him, has a heart for her. “Thank you so much Randy.” She shed one tear and Randy wiped it away. “Come on, best 2 outta 3?” He egged on and she nodded running over to shuffle the cards.

ू he would act like such a gentleman, but the next minute he can become an asshole.

ू some random day you were having lunch at a coffee shop near by the training center. he happened to walk in and you prayed he didn’t see you, but he did. he basically invited himself to sit with you, which uhm, rude, but turns out - he wasn’t as bad as you thought. he was very well spoken and more polite than anything. you got a little suspicious, thinking he might be looking for something in you until he opened up to you about him having some anger issues.

ू it felt very sudden because, you didn’t ask nor were you trying to have him open up about anything. as the conversation kept going, you felt bad for him. he explained that he wasn’t able to make friends like everyone else and that he didn’t have anyone to talk to, he just needed someone to talk to.

ू after that day’s training, you hung out at a diner and go to know each other better. he was one of the sweetest people you’ve ever come across, and he was unironically hilarious.

ू you two became friends and remained close, until he was called up to the wwe. you were more than happy for him, but you couldn’t help but feel a bit saddened by his absence. you didn’t realize how much randy would fill in your days until he wasn’t there.

ू but not long after that, you were called up as well. the first person you saw was triple h. he told you how randy kept praising your work and how would constantly talk about how great you were. he lobbied for you to get a spot with him, “i didn’t wanna be lonely again” he explained.

ू you got even closer after that, where there was y/n, there was randy. he’d follow you around like a lost puppy.

ू eventually, you both began making friends around the company and expanding your circle, but that never stopped you from hanging out.

ू whenever it was you two, randy would cling to you like a koala. he was very affectionate and was never too shy to grab you and give you hugs and kisses at all.

ू he never failed to make you feel loved when he was around. always showering you with little gifts and compliments, taking you out frequently, and he had a habit of kissing you cheek. you couldn’t stop yourself from developing a crush on him.

ू you began noticing how when you were hanging out with other people, randy would get jealous very easily, especially if it was your male peers. someone could be nice to you and randy’s rolling his eyes. he would get extremely agitated and upset, but every time you’d confront him, he wouldn’t explain himself.

ू his behavior only got worse from there, he would get very possessive and sometimes wouldn’t even let you see other people, because “you’re my friend”. friend, yeah, right. you were suspecting that he might have a crush on you, but you were a bit doubtful of that because he had girls throwing themselves on him left and right.

ू you wound up having an explosive argument over his behavior as it had began affecting your relationship with those around you.

ू even more affectionate now, bear hugs, back hugs, wrapping his arms around your shoulders, holding you in his lap, etc. he was a big teddy bear.

ू loves kissing you and would do it anywhere and everywhere. you’re watching him backstage? kisses before and after his match. you’re on commentary? must kiss you. watching him from the audience? must kiss you. you’re wrestling in a mixed tag team match? must kiss you before and after. your lips exist and he must kiss them.

ू sex was quite the big part of your relationship. it was his way of showing you much he loved you sexually, and it was like an outlet for both of you. pent up anger? angry sex. someone’s jealous? possessive sex. feeling sappy? passionate love making.

Randy decides to keep things simple rather than go through with an elaborate proposal

He arranges a long weekend getaway for just the two of you to somewhere you’ve always wanted to go

He miraculously manages to give nothing away about his true intentions behind the getaway

Which is very surprising to him since he’s a bit of a nervous wreck inside, he wants the whole thing to fall into place perfectly

He doesn’t jump into action with immediately popping the question - he waits until you’ve seen the sights and have already done everything you wanted to do

Instead, he takes you out to dinner on your final night at your getaway destination

You practically have the whole place to yourself - Randy made damn sure of that

Conversation flows over dinner and drinks without you suspecting a single thing

Randy is on the edge of his seat throughout dinner, unable to keep himself from popping the question then and there

He manages to contain his excitement and eagerness until dessert is served

Before you can even take a spoonful of your dessert, he takes your free hand in his and gives it a squeeze

“I wanted the past few days to be perfect for us. And they have been. I just wanted to spoil you because I know it’s been a while since we’ve been able to get away for a bit like this, but there’s another reason why I planned this all out, too…”

Randy gets out of his seat across from you and paces over to your side before he leans in to give you a quick kiss

And after a moment, he’s dropping down to one knee and fishing a small box out of his pocket

You’re totally bewildered - you think you know what’s going on but your brain is working overtime, and you don’t want to jump to conclusions until you know for definite

“Life with you makes perfect sense to me. You’re my best friend, and I want to grow old with you. I love you.”

He opens up the small box and turns it towards you, and a beautiful ring sits inside it

You’re stunned into silence for a moment, and your hands fly up to cover a shocked gasp that slips from your lips

But Randy doesn’t start to panic over this - he’s still there on one knee, looking up at you hopefully

A wide smile slowly makes its way onto your lips, and you get up out of your chair after a moment while nodding fervently

You dip down to give him a tender, passionate kiss before your arms snake around his neck

“This is the easiest yes of my life, Randy. Yes, a thousand times over!”

Randy beams and pulls you into another kiss before he slips the ring onto your finger - you’ve truly made him the happiest man alive.

randy’s still got a few demons he hasn’t bothered to tame. one of the biggest being his wandering eye. both of his marriages went down in flames when he got caught cheating, and he owned up to it without a second thought. he’s quick to admit he’s the problem, but old habits die hard.

his first divorce? that happened when his wife came home early from a trip and found him entertaining a couple of weekend visitors. his second divorce? that kicked off when his wife found photos and videos of (tba) on his phone.

sexuality: frequently explored.

randy avoids labels and serious relationships because he’s torn between wanting freedom and craving closeness. his hesitation to commit and tendency to cheat usually result in short, dramatic flings. even though he doesn’t want to settle down, he often ends up falling hard for people and dealing with serious jealousy. at times, he struggles with treating people as if they were possessions.

despite his divorces, randy stays devoted to his children. he makes quality time with them a priority and is actively involved in their lives, including those of his stepchildren. he works hard to keep a respectful and supportive co-parenting relationship to provide a stable and loving environment.

randy’s confidence can come across as arrogance, and though he’s mostly quiet and reserved, he doesn’t shy away from confrontation. he has little tolerance for disrespect and can have a short temper, though he's improved in managing it. despite this, he deeply values loyalty and respect and is quick to defend himself and those he cares about.

since announcing his sobriety in 2022, randy has been proudly maintaining it. he is committed to staying sober and will not be breaking his commitment. while he doesn’t avoid events with alcohol, he hopes you respect his journey and refrain from trying to tempt him. all his shitty decisions are made sober.

throughout his life, randy has been vocal about how important gaming is to him. for him, it’s a way to disconnect from the world and clear his mind. injuries have also given him plenty of idle time, making gaming a welcome escape. some of his favorite games include call of duty, starfield, elden ring, and assassin’s creed.
