Nighttime Routine with Genshin Men [Mondstadt]

A/N: Welp this series seems pretty popular so I'm continuing this but for night. Check the "How They Greet You In The Morning" imagines from my Genshin masterlist!

Kaeya: Depends which Kaeya you're dealing with (drunk kaeya is another story). Normally, once he climbs in bed you both shift to face each other eye to eye. Sometimes if he's feeling cheeky he likes to tuck you in and fluff your pillows as if you were royalty. While you're nice and comfy, if you want to talk a little more, he is willing to hear you despite being tired from the day. He's a good listener and wants to hear your voice before falling asleep. Only sleeps once he knows you're peacefully sleeping. "Sweet dreams, darling. Don't forget to dream about me~" Please hit him with a pillow.

Diluc: We all know he comes home late af because of his Darknight hero duties. Most of the time when he gets home, it's around midnight. He always tells you to go to sleep without him, but you're still awake because you want to wait for him. He sighs because of your stubbornness, but lets you stand up and take off his jacket for him so he can come to bed. Whispers a soft apology for keeping you up so late, the kisses your forehead once more before closing his eyes and saying, "Goodnight, my love."

Bennett: Random but he seems like the type of person to fall asleep within five minutes of his head hitting the pillow. Also I think he'd sleep camping out a decent amount. He still goes to bed with just as much energy as he had in the morning, talking about where he wants to explore tomorrow. Sometimes he gets sad when his adventure ends up empty-handed. But after you cheer him up and tell him you'll go with him tomorrow, he instantly smiles and is able to rest. "Ah, goodnight (y/n). Let's go to Starsnatch Cliff tomorrow!" Probably falls off the bed/rolls out of the tent at some point.

Razor: He makes sure to have you all comfy before going to sleep. It is probably not comfortable for you to be sleeping/camping in the woods. He insists on staying awake for a bit, just to make sure your surroundings are safe, but you tell him that you prefer going to bed knowing that he's comfy sleeping too. He grunts as a hesitant way of saying "fine" and joins you, putting a piece of cloth overtop of you as a blanket. "Goodnight Lupical."

Venti: ...I don't know why I didn't ask this last time but where does this guy sleep?? Anyway- he likes to end off the day on a good note by telling each other the good things that happened today, what you guys can do tomorrow, how much wine he's had, how much he's annoyed Diluc tonight. You giggle at his antics, knowing that he has had a good day being his normal chaotic self. "Goodnight my lovely (y/n). May the wind bless you with sweet dreams." If you have trouble sleeping, he's more than willing to hum a lullaby for you.

Albedo: You kind of have to pry him away from his final experiments and research for the day. He tells you to go to sleep first without him, but you tell him that he can continue tomorrow. He's not that stubborn so eventually he listens and gets ready for bed with you. I think it's still a little to grasp relationships, so most of the time your conversations before bed are mostly about what you did during the day. However, that doesn't mean he doesn't try. There are times he suggests ideas on things to do together tomorrow, and that's enough for you.

Mika: If I'm being honest I feel like his sleep routine (time) is a little irregular because of his job. Because of that he doesn't want you to feel like you have to conform to his schedule. He knows you don't like going to bed alone, so he accompanies you until you fall asleep, despite having to possibly get up later. If you can't sleep he'd suggest to have a midnight snack with him while talking until you start getting sleepy. Mika makes sure to always say goodnight and that you're nice and tucked in before your eyes close and you drift off into the dream world.

many people said that he's most likely to cheat on his s/o when in fact, it is quite impossible for him to do that.

man certainly has abandonment issues after losing both of his dads and his brother. sorry

i personally view him as the type to show you how much he loves you both by actions and words but slightly more to words (?) .

like he'd tease you about how beautiful you look, how gorgeous you truly are etc during times when he just feels like it but there's also time where he just wants to feel your body against his own, arms securing your body while inhaling your scent as you both cuddled before heading off to dreamland.

he'd certainly tease you during random times which will make you get all flustered. this man is full of surprises.

even if he's the type to always joke around and tease you nonstop, he'll always make sure that you know just how much he loves and cherish your existence in his life!

Diluc

he's the type of guy who'd buy you random gifts or give you some flowers that has special meanings behind it.

dinner dates or any type of dates that you prefer. yes, he loves to spoil you.

list all the things that you want, he'll get them for you. even if it is impossible, he'll find a way.

"if you're happy, then i am happy."

he gives everything to you. his love, his trust, himself, literally everything.

he might be a man of a few words and very awkward during the early stage of your relationship but he'll warm up later.

i can actually see him being a bit clingy here, specially when he overworked himself for the past few days. he'll definitely not let you go even if you squirmed and whined, reminding him that he has to wake up or he'll be late for work.

overall a very caring, kind, polite and a bit clingy type of lover. so take care of him please 🙏

Bennett

he would collect any pretty items on his adventures and give them to you as a suprise.

definitely brags about how you are literally so amazing and the best human to ever exist in teyvat to everyone.

adventures with him as a date. although he swore that the route that he chose for the both of you to walk through was literally clear a few hours ago, why there's so many monster there now ?

poor boy thinks that it's because of his bad luck. but hey, atleast he got the chance to admire your fighting skills while getting ready to brag about this cool moment of you to katheryne and his friends.

he's clingy.

you can't blame him though, sometimes you just get so busy that you don't have time to visit him in Wolvendom.

he knows your scent and probably recognised the sound of your footsteps so whenever you came to visit, he's already waiting for you on the entrance of Wolvendom.

would escort you to a safe place before asking you to sit as he lays down with his head on top of your leg and buried his face to your stomach.

silently asks you to play with his hair because it's comforting.

okay but just imagine you both in that position beneath a tree, and then you read or tell him a story.

he would grow curious about it and asks questions from time to time. oh, and his reactions are priceless.

like he'd gasp, gets excited when the character from the story that you told him was about to have a good ending and probably huffs and groan when the story did not go well.

picnincs with him mhm. feed him and he's all red. would probably return the favor to you.

Albedo

he probably doesn't allow you to visit him when he's in dragonspine too much because he's worried about you.

but when you do visit him though, he'd ask you to sit down on the chair he provided while lending youb a hot drink to warm yourself up.

this little visit would often turn into study dates. when he sees you curiously observed his movements, he would ask you to come to him as he lends you his notes and explains to you what is his goal and so on.

yes, he won't just leave his job for you. but he'll talk and try to start a conversation with you just so you won't feel lonely and such. what do you expect from a workaholic anyw

would make some things that he thinks you'd like from alchemy and gives it to you.

Venti

a date in the tavern.

him flirting like crazy with you as you turned red and shamelessly flirt back. Diluc often kicks your drunk ass and your boyfriend out of the tavern because of this though.

if your're not the type to enjoy alcohol or doesn't like the idea of getting drunk with your boyfriend in the tavern as a date though, then don't worry ! this lil boyfriend of yours got it covered.

would probably try and convince you to sneak out and join him stargaze.

while you're both stargazing, he'd summon his lyre and plays with it while humming a soft tune that'll make the night much more comfortable and enjoyable.

you both would play around like kids afterwards, making some of the monsters notice your presence but venti would take care of them though ;)

during random times, he would just stare and admire you silently.

"have anyone told you that you look absolutely gorgeous ?"

throws random compliments during the most random time. like he'd literally say "you're very pretty you know." after you clear out a hilichurl camp and ofc you'd go like "what"

he's unpredictable. much like kaeya, he is full of surprises. so be prepared of whatever plan that he has in his mind.

"(y/n)? yes, i know (y/n). they are... nice. smell sweet, like honey! and.. look nice, like fresh potatoes. they taught me some language, and taught me how to add flavour to food. ...my food already had flavour, but they taught me how to add better flavour! more tasty, makes food nicer. sometimes (y/n) hunts with me. whenever we come back, we always have a lot of meat to eat. i rarely ever get hungry with (y/n) around. i wish they can come by all the time, but i know that they are busy, and cannot always spend time with razor. so i always appreciate whenever they visit ─ it's like tasting good meat after a long time of only eating vegetables."

razor sat among his pack, absentmindedly picking leaves or shedding pieces of fur from their coats whenever he got bored. night watch was quiet, peaceful, an easy time to think when opposed to the busy bustle of daytime. though it wasn’t good for him to take every watch, he did volunteer for them more often than the other wolves.

the night was calm, the trees thin enough to allow enough light through that he could see, but thick enough that no enemies should see him sitting up in the cave. occasionally a wind would sweep through, a chill creeping up his arms, but he would simply sink them into whoever’s fur was closest and wait for the wind to pass. it always did, even in mondstat.

razor stood up, carefully picking his way out of the cave. at the mouth, he stretched, feeling his gloves brush the stone at the top. one downside of night watch was the tension that came with constantly being on alert. it was a necessary evil, as a sleeping pack was a vulnerable one, and he was always sure to rid of any excess. the last thing he needed was a cramp or a strained muscle when an enemy-

leaves rustled, and he barely had to think before reaching for his claymore, already on the handle and ready to pull.

the bushes were still. it could be a squirrel, or a bird. something harmless. small. it was rare, but it had happened before, and that detail alone kept him from waking the others.

when the intruder appeared, it was not a clear threat. but, it was no squirrel either. it came from above, a second sun falling from the branches in slow motion. it spun in midair as he watched, ridding itself of the leaf that had landed on top of it.

razor hesitated. did he call it? it… seemed harmless, drifting towards him at a lazy pace. the wind picked up, from the star towards him, carrying a familiar smell. so it was from someone he knew…

carefully, he let the ball fall into his cupped hands, looking up at where it came from. the leaves would occasionally part, but he didn’t see anybody or anything up there. just the night sky, with a few falling stars streaking across the thin patches he could see.

he looked back down at his hands, but the ‘star’ was gone. two small doll-like plushes rested in his hands, attached to hooks and laying on a bed of paper, with lettering for sheets. the figures looked familiar, but he quickly turned his attention to the words themselves.

your letter wasn’t long, but with the amount of times he reread it it might have been. he knew you—just because he lived with the wolves didn’t mean he wasn’t aware of the one who made them, boreas would have his hide otherwise—but not why you would send him a letter. he did not need your writing to know he was one of your favored. he did not need a star to tell him he was cared for. you had done that on your own, with your kind words when bringing him and bennett on your journey, when you blessed him with claws of iron and teeth of thunder.

"Razor is home," he announced. You smiled and closed your book, hugging him.

"Welcome back, Lovey~" you greeted him. He nuzzled into your neck, taking in your scent. You pulled away, looking him up and down. "How does a bath sound, hm?" you asked. He perked up.

"Bath? Razor like baths." You giggled, leading him to the bathroom. You filled up the tub with warm water and helped him out of his clothes. He slid into the tub and sighed happily. "Water is warm. Feels nice on Razor's skin." You wet his hair and massaged the shampoo into it, rubbing his scalp gently. He leaned into your touch.

"Does that feel nice?" He nodded. You moved on to carefully washing his body, being careful of his scrapes. When you were done, you rinsed out his hair and drained the water, helping him out of the tub. You gently dried him off and he changed into a set of clean clothes. His hair was still tangled, however, so you decided to tackle that next. You grabbed the brush and sat down on the bed with him, his back facing you. "I'm going to brush your hair now, okay?" He nodded.

You began working the brush through his hair, starting at the ends and moving up. Razor seemed to enjoy having his hair brushed, as he was relaxed the whole time. By the time you were finished, his hair was smooth and free of tangles.

"How does that feel?" you asked. He turned around and hugged you, laying down in bed.

"Feels nice. Thank you, Lupical," he said. You smiled, snuggling into him.

"Of course, Lovey~"

  it takes you a while to come to, but once you do, with heaving chest and pounding heart, you’re enveloped in a warm embrace. diluc is never the touchy-feely type, not like you are, but he makes exceptions. you swallow thickly, turning to look at him. his eyes are shut firmly, though the speed of his breathing indicates he’s very much awake. wrapped in his strong arms, it’s hard to remember what you were so scared of in the first place. with a soft exhale, your eyes drift off, and you let sleep take you once more.

razor trudged through wolvendom, his arms wrapped tightly around him. his lesson with lisa had led longer than it usually did, and the coming winter made the usually refreshing air frigid.

still, he pushed through. his coat wasn’t made to keep from cold, but normally he was back with his pack by now. normally, he’d be curled up with the rest of the wolves, near the middle since he didn’t have any fur of his own.

they had to be worried. he never stayed out late without warning.

he pushes through a thicker patch of bushes, stumbling into a clearing with a shiver. the canopy is thinner here, and he steps into the open space, hoping some of the lingering light could help sweep away his chill.

it doesn’t. something else, however, does.

as razor looks to the sky, to the shooting stars crossing it, one of them falls. he doesn’t realize it until it brushes the leaves, having assumed the light was from the setting sun, but he now realizes the truth. the sun had set a while ago, but as the star landed in his hands, it was hard not to think of it as a second.

bright. warm. he doesn’t know what the sun feels like, but the bumps on the ball feel like rays, energy buzzing within them. he holds the ball carefully, wondering if he should perhaps take it to andrius, who would certainly know what it meant if a star fell out of the sky.

the star acts before he does, falling apart into crystalline shards. for a moment he’s worried he’d done something wrong, but when he’s left with a sun-warmed coat and a folded sheet of paper, he’s a little less concerned.

razor considers the paper. he should go to his pack, but… what if it’s you? what if it’s something important?

When Someone Insults Ganyu, Bennett, and Nilou vs When Someone Insults Reader...

(Disclaimers: Might Be OOC, Mentions of Violence, & Quest/Genshin Impact Lore Spoilers!)

Ganyu

Okay, first of all: Yes, I am adding that stupid idiot cough Xin Cheng cough into this.

You were just following the Traveler and Paimon, joining Ganyu's Story Quest which, for some reason, was not completed yet. So, you decided to tag along to see Ganyu!

You weren't hyped when that beggar came out of nowhere and started to do all that fairytale stuff even you don't approve of—and you were someone that sticks themselves into your own head, thank you very much.

So when this man started to gain the audacity to insult Ganyu, you knew you had to step up and do something. No one, and you quite mean it, was going to insult her and get away with it.

"Hey!" You came out from your hiding spot (you're the Almighty Creator, you know it'll make the situation worse). "Just what the hell do you think you're doing, huh?"

Xin Cheng pales at the sight of your enraged figure. He stutters to make an excuse, but you cut him off. You're having none of it.

"Get your useless self out of here, before I decide to kick it down the mountains myself!"

To say that Ganyu was shocked that you were getting angry over a mortal was an understatement. She was beyond surprised that you even stood up for her.

But she did have to intervene with your threatening—after all, she is still an Adeptus. Protecting the people of Liyue was still her duty.

"Your Grace...Please let him go. I'm sure he already understands his mistake." Ganyu's soft voice only made your anger increase—she sounded so upset!

"Y-yes, please, Your Grace! I understand what I've done wrong, I—"

"Silence." You glare down at the mortal. Your turn back to Ganyu, and considered your choices. While you wanted to wreck absolute vengeance on this man, you also didn't want to hurt Ganyu's feelings more.

Guess you were going down Trauma Lane, then. You sigh, and stomp your feet as you turn around to glare at Xin Cheng, catching his petite form by surprise.

"If I ever see you do this again..." Your eyes narrow. "Believe me when I say it—you will be granted no mercy by any adeptus nor Rex Lapis himself. Now SCRAM!" With that, he was running for the hills. You weren't entirely satisfied, but you'll take it. For now.

What would Happen if Ganyu heard you get insulted? Well, first of all, she would gasp quietly to herself. What was this blasphemy? She's utterly horrified.

Ganyu thinks she might faint once she realizes you were nearby, checking out vendor goods next to where the gossipers were spilling terrible insults of your image.

"Y-Your Grace! Please accept my apology on behalf of the people of Liyue." Will literally run up to you and apologize for them. While she may not be the one who did it, she's still cares about the People of Liyue—and thus her reasoning as to why she's askign for the mercy of the Almighty Creator.

Your puzzled look turns to Ganyu. "Who are you apologizing for?" Ganyu blinks.

"The, uhm—the gossipers..?" You're still confused, until your eyes shine once recognition hits you like Truck-Kun.

"Ohhh, those dudes! Yeah, don't worry about them—they're pretty boring, saying the same thing like a broken record. Say—wanna shop with me? I'm paying, of course."

And that's how you got Ganyu to be more comfortable around you! :D

Bennett

Ah, our unlucky yet optimistic adventurer! This boy—he is good. He's cool, and he's rather awed by most of the kids in Mondstadt.

He was hanging out with Razor and Fischl when someone decides to insult him. this genuinely upsets him—after all, they were insulting his ability and his position in the Adventurer's Guild...

Already, Razor and Fischl were already up to defend him, but what they didn't expect is for the Almighty Creator (aka you) got to it first.

"I beg your pardon," you say through gritted teeth. "How exactly is having a bad luck aura got to do with ANYTHING related to being an adventurer?" You're glaring so many daggers you could practically say you were breaking all the walls. "Perhaps we'll see just how lucky you are when I send you to Dragon Spine and watch your dead corpses FREEZE TO DEATH?"

The insulters were paling the more you went on. Razor and Fischl aren't sure what to do—you're already there, dealing with the situation.

But Bennett? Well uh, like usual, his bad luck got the best of him, and he accidentally stumbles towards you (miraculously). He bumps into you, and you shift your gaze onto him.

"Uh—Sorry, Your Grace! I really didn't mean to bump into you, I swear!" Poor guy is scared because his bad luck affected him at the worst time of all. He thinks he might get killed.

You though? Oh, hell nah. Your gaze already soften, and you decided to show favoritism! You pull the boy into a hug, glaring at the insulters one more time as a warning to scram, before you go back to enjoying giving the boy affection!

But when Bennett hears you get insulted? Well, first of all, screw his bad luck because the insulters were quite literally telling him how bad of a Creator you were!

He immediately tries to avoid getting too deep into the discussion, trying to sway the topic elsewhere to no avail, and he pales when he realizes you were literally a few steps away from them!

And it seems his bad luck gets in the way again, because you just turned right as he was staring at you with shocked eyes!

However, instead of being mad, you were actually beaming when you see him. You wave at Bennett, smiling.

"Bennett! Help me choose some flowers, yeah?"

"Uhm—uh, Sure, Your Grace!"

And that's how the insulters were hiding in their homes for the rest of their lives as you merrily dragged Bennett out of that horrendous conversation.

Nilou

Honestly, do I need to say who decided to insult this amazing dancer?

Yes, it was fricking Azar again. What is up with this crazy old man, nobody knows. Perhaps you should put him in prison for a while until he's gained a sense of appreciation for the Arts. ALL of the Arts.

Apparently, when you had drilled fear into this man, he thought it only applied to flipping Nahida. As much as you love Nahida, you are not going to have Azar twists your words and make it seem like you grant him permission to snark down other people—especially the people of Zubayr Theater.

So when Azar finally decides to have scholars gain the nerve to insult Nilou on behalf of his stupid brain, you (of course) just had to get yourself involved with this.

"Excuse me, but since when did you have the audacity to judge someone else's profession of art, simply because it isn't 'academic' in any way?" You spat. "Where I come from, Art courses are necessary in order to move on in your academic life." When Nilou hears you, she, first of all, is grateful of you stepping up for her, and, second of all, very scared of what might be happening next.

The scholars pale, but they seem to have taken your comment as a debate.

"With all due respect, Your Grace, the Arts are anything but educational—"

"Was I looking for a second opinion, dimwit?" You narrow your eyes. "Besides, have you yourself ever tried the Art of Dancing or the Art of Music before?"

"Well—uhm, no, but—"

"Then shut up, then." The scholars begin to panic as your voice becomes low and dangerous. "You don't have an excuse to be judgmental if you haven't even tried this stuff yourself."

"Ex-Sage Azar told us to say this!" They blurt out, and that only increases your rage. Seeing that things might escalate, Nilou steps in.

"Your Grace, let's not be too harsh!" She exclaims, waving her hands frantically. "I'm sure they understand what they did wrong. There's no need to have them punished." You narrowed your eyes in disagreement, for a half second, Nilou thought she made the situation worse.

But when you sigh heavily, she knew you relented. You glare at the scholars again.

"Tell Azar if he does this again, to ANYONE, I'll cut his head off, and there's no more excuses there. In fact—bring me to him. I'll have a talk with him myself."

Yeah, Azar got traumatized again :)

But when Nilou hears you be insulted? Quite literally behind your back? She thought she was going to faint from the gossiper's comments alone! You being there to listen it to it all only made her feel worse.

She was about to confront them, until she saw other people nearby dealing with the situation. So, Nilou decides to check up and see if you were okay...After all, those comments weren't nice.

She was pretty shocked when she realized you were contemplating over wares instead, completely unbothered by the drama going on behind your back. Nevertheless, she was still going to apologize in case you were just hiding your emotions.

"Uhm, Your Grace—I would like to apologize on behalf of all of Zubayr Theater. We should've done something earlier." You look at her, confused.

"What are you apologizing for, Nilou?" You ask. She blinks.
