Okay, so we talk about the Disaster Lineage. It started with Yoda and passed down through Count Dooku, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Sabine. If we factor in that both Obi-Wan and Yoda trained Luke (thus bringing him fully into their Jedi line), that means that Luke, Leia, Rey, and Ben/Kylo Ren (and Grogu with his brief training with Luke) are all a part of the Disaster Lineage.
Therefore, this franchise shouldn’t called be “Star Wars” or the “Skywalker Saga”.
It should be called “The Disaster Lineage Strikes Again (And Screws Up A Galaxy Over Several Generations)”.

A big "thank you" to KDTM for confirming that Ai Di is a pretender
When Yi tried to carry him in his sleep, Ai Di stopped him in less than a second, setting Yi on his back. Even Yi was surprised. Why?
Because Ai Di didn't know that it was Yi who was trying to carry him.
And then a few moments later, when Yi tried to carry him again, he started struggling his VERY FAKE struggles.
So fake. Baby boy, you're fooling no one.
He could have gotten out of Yi's hold anytime he wanted and yet he chose to put up the weakest struggle known to mankind.

do what you want forever actually. just because more people have eyes on you doesn't make you less human. I think you should be kinder on yourself and remember that you aren't just here to make content: you're a complex individual with a lot of thoughts on things and you shouldn't be afraid to share them out of fear of backlash. and if you ever feel like "maybe I shouldn't say something?", take a step back, deep breath, and ask yourself why. Please take your time and remember that you are loved and appreciated, and that those are the people who should matter most to you. not meaningless hate from people who don't even totally understand what they're defending. now go have a spectacular day, I was possessed to write this
Thank you so much. That means a lot. 🥲

which would you prefer, a transformation that has you rapidly swelling up out of nowhere until you can hardly stand but doesn't go any further, or a slow but steady transformation that given enough time will leave you so big you can't do anything but lie on the ground and watch yourself swell even further?
rapid is good fun but im such a sucker for slow and steady... noticing after a few weeks maybe that my baggy clothes arent as loose as they used to be, brushing it off as bloating. a month or two and people are commenting that ive gained a little weight, but just laughing and saying it must just be the winter months and i'll work it off come summer. but no matter what i do it keeps coming, just a pound or so a day, juuust enough to know that it's happening but slow enough that i dont realize how big ive gotten. sure, it's a bit odd how often i'm buying new clothes, but i'm sure its just part of getting older. it's a lot harder to take the walk to the bus stop, and i sure am sweating so much more recently, but i'm sure its just a diet thing, or this new job thats keeping me behind a desk all day, and it'll even out soon. A pound a day doesn't sound that bad, does it? until one day i see a picture from two years ago and dont even recognize myself, slim and fit while now i'm creeping closer to 400lbs with every passing day. would i recognize my face without the round cheeks and extra chins that've grown in? would i be horrified at what had happened and panic, struggling against the inevitable as the pounds kept piling on, or would i embrace it, letting myself get bigger and bigger, just a little bit every day. how long before i can't reach the steering wheel in my car? before fitting through doorways is a nearly impossible task? before getting out of bed becomes a nightmare? before standing at all is impossible? how big can i even get? a pound a day is more than 250 a year, after all...

would u recommend claymore ?? ive seen u posting about it and i think it looks interesting but i dont really kno anything about the plot OTL
Oh, yeah, 100% recommend. Go read it. Please go read it. I still haven't watched the anime, so I won't say go watch it, but I will say please read that manga!!
I know people sometimes say stuff like "oh it's just Berserk but women" but I don't think that's a very fair comparison of stories, just aesthetics.
Ok. There are some pretty cool monsters in both. There is that.
Anyway, Claymore... it has one of those special spots in my heart because it was one of the first manga I read and one I actively went out of my way to collect the whole series to read and reread. I know I've said this before lol
The artwork starts out kinda shaky but it becomes gorgeous later on. The story is strange and a little mysterious and it gets better the second, third, fourth times you read it. There's art history references in it. The characters are all unique and interesting and even some side characters are given surprising depth.
The villains, too, are given a lot of care. Also their designs are COOL AS HELL. And you come to like them when you start to learn who they are, who they were. Doesn't mean they aren't gonna suddenly be on the side of the good guys tho but you'll be like. Man.... she's pretty cool..
The relationships between characters are so tightly interwoven and that's something that gets better with rereads. But it'll also hit you suddenly, like oh holy shit!! That thing from several chapters ago!! That concept! That name! Whoa!
The characters face consequences for their decisions! They mess up! There's love! Oh, man, there's a lot of love.
But like. Still. I don't want to tell you too much or let this answer go on too long for fear of telling you too much.
Please give it a chance, and follow Clare on her journey. I think you'll like it.

The fact that Erika told Travis that Dusk was absolutely gonna kill Fearne's parents just makes his actions the next day even more questionable to me. Why was he so quick to side with Yu? Why didn't he at least try to warn anyone about it?
And I think that speaks to something the Hells will have to reconcile in the coming episodes. Why do they get to decide if someone is doing something wrong or bad? Like Matt said, they don't have all of the context. I understand why they felt unwilling to trust Birdie over Yu, but at the same time it reminds me of what Brennan said about Zerxus. Sure, they believe in doing good. But who actually gets to decide what "good" is? Are they really in the position to declare a moral high ground when fey creatures and Ruidus secrets are also at play? I personally don't think so, and I would love to see the entire party really grapple with what it "good" even means, and where they fit into these complicated events that are right around the corner.

was talking to one of my friends today, we were going through old photo albums and memes we sent each other and shit and he mentioned the time i put an egg in my pocket (and broke it), and how i'd told him about that really early into us knowing each other and how he'd known then that i was a person he wanted to be friends with
and as someone who has a very hard time believing that my friends are not indifferent or annoyed about my presence in their lives (and is working very hard to change that), it's so so special to know something like that, to know that someone saw me and chose to have me in their life

somebody i follow for fandom reasons was talking about having bought an adult tricycle, and it got me wondering abt pros and cons and why adult tricycles aren't more of a Thing, so i did some reading and got halfway thru a very talky post laying them out and then abruptly realized: none of u care, lol. like dgmw i'm sure a number of u would very nicely click the lil heart like the collection of good eggs u are but like. what would i be achieving by writing that up. this is not a bicycle interest community.
(short version is that a bicycle behaves more like it's part of yr body in a variety of ways, and so as long as yr body works well—big 'if' obviously!—that often makes for a smoother and more intuitive ride: balance around corners is the really big thing here, but also tricycles apparently require you to (1) compensate for road camber with yr steering; (2) keep three different wheel trajectories clear of surface hazards instead of just one; and (3) remember that the vehicle you're maneuvering is wider than your body and requires more clearance. that said, if you have trouble balancing on two wheels, and/or srs bzns Cargo to carry, then a trike may be the bike for you!)
(ok obviously i lied abt not making that post but i guess i really wanted to make it so. there u are. click the lil heart like a good 🥚.)
