Dear Recreyoblr,

Recreyo have outted, the end is now.

I made my first recreyo post on march 28th of 2023, first drawing/comic was on march 14th of 2023, the sharp teethed Curt one. It's not canon to me anymore, for whom it may concern. I like the idea of him being the only human (until he glitched, like soup's idea).

Unfortunately, when I found recreyo, I wasn't logging into any yt accounts, so I have no way of knowing when I fell into this hyperfixation. (A calculated guess would be around Christmas break of 2022, because I remember spending an entire day just scrolling through their page)

More about the present and future, well, I think we can all say that recreyo was awesome with their story-writing & telling, leaving us with some Kristine wisdom and the continuations of stories in fanfiction. (And I'm not taking constructive criticism on this but) (I just feel like the bit with Rock Paper Scissors made it all the more painful to listen to and perfect) (I don't even know how to elaborate on this)

Of course, now that Recreyo overed, a lot of us will be leaving. I wish you all great lives outside of this community of ours. As for me, I still have fanfiction and AU ideas that'll keep me motivated for... God knows how long, but I've at least got 3 aus. For those that depart, maybe you'll remember recreyo and their fandom once in a while. And if you do, check the tag. Youtube, Tiktok, Tumblr, Ao3. Wherever else people go. It might be fun to see the stuff that have popped up over the time, who knows.

A hundred thanks and appreciations goes to people whom I will only generalize and not name so I don't accidently leave someone out: of course, the Recreyo Crew, thank them for created this wonderful year and community; the animators. every single one of them did such great jobs in this channel and for the long term animators it was so fun watching their art styles develop; the editors, who do such awesome jobs in editing their videos and producing what we have; the thumbnail artists -- I knew most of them Ivan drew, but some are by different artist(s?); in terms of the fandom, all the appreciations for the fan artists(in all categories of art) that create crazy awesome stories, art, animatics, edits, etc. I don't know if that's everyone but thank you all.

Fun facts include: I wasn't much of a Tumblr user before this, but the recreyo community on Tumblr is just too alluring :3; the smoke alarm in my house have went off because I was too distracted watching Recreyo.

Sorry for the long jazz, but this was a fantastic community (the best i've ever encounter and i doubt there could be anything that beats this) and I couldn't have hoped for anything better than this.

I think a lot of people forget why a character like Micah exists - aside from aiding the plot.

Micah is a guide (of sorts) for you to see what a "bad man" really is, to help you understand why Arthur does what he does and to show you that there's actual thought and morals behind his actions.

Micah, on the other hand, kills because he wants to and for stupid reasons. He is a malicious, mocking, hurtful, and sadistic man who cares very little for anybody but himself. He's a misogynist, racist, and frankly irredeemably evil.

As much as Micah was able to manipulate Dutch, Arthur could see right through him. Ultimately causing a rift between Dutch and Arthur, which is exactly what Micah wanted.

Micah was made for you to see the differences between "good" and "bad" people.

Characters like Sean, Lenny, Charles, all "good" people who have done "bad" just like the rest of the gang, including Arthur. I think the reason that people are quick to say that Arthur was "a bad person until he got tb" is because we see his experiences first hand (plus player choices) and not much of the other "good" gang members' "bad" actions. That and his motives and his background is sometimes misunderstood by players.

Arthur is a "good man", "a saint", "an angel", "a blessing" to some and a "bad", "evil", "cruel" man to others.

Playing as Arthur means getting to understand his internal conflicts and his desire to be a better person, something Micah had no intentions of being.

Without further ado, onto the celebration event! I've decided I'm going to be opening edit requests. I'm not setting a time limit, partially because I don't know if I'll even get that many requests and partially because I don't know if this will feel fun or overwhelming. But I'll close requests whenever I feel like it's time.

I've come up with 3 different options, detailed below. Requests will only be accepted through my inbox and feel free to send multiple. I'll take them on anon as long as it's turned on. It might take some time to get to your request so please be patient with me! This isn't limited only to groups/soloists I stan. Just keep in mind there are people I'm not comfortable editing and I won't do those requests.

Era Teaser Edits: send me a member + an era and I will edit some of their teasers from that era. You may request either just the era & get a mix of those teasers (ex: Jaehyun - Forever Only) or a specific set of teasers (ex: Ten's 1st Mini Album - Teaser #4). I'll also accept full group + era, but those will take longer & I'll only do 1 or 2 pics per member. The number of teasers included will depend how many are available, the quality of the images and my personal preference. The older the era, the fewer the pics. Hi friends! Once again here using my Tumblr like a traditional blog where u share thoughts and updates and stuff haha.

Sorry for being gone for a bit, life was BUSY with plans and now I’m finally back home from a little trip visiting a lovely friend of mine (photos for visual-aid of said trip 😉😇). God I love summer and sunshine!! ☀️☺️🌊🚤🍉

So due to being less active, I did build up quite a bit of notification and message debt. Wanted to take a quick moment and say that unfortunately there is no shot I’ll be able to catch up on all of it in terms of responding to everything, even though I usually really like to stay on top of that; especially with tags and reblogs and comments on my posts! However, I did read and see everything that I’ve missed.

So to all of u that interacted while I was gone: the satisfaction from flustering some of you was absolutely enjoyed 😉~ and on the flip side the backfire from your teasy comments has also been suffered hahaha 🙈. Proud of you lb-we really could have let the oh we’re down 3-1 narrative take over tonight but we stayed silly and lighthearted and cheering on our team. And they played so good!!! And maybe it’s silly (heh heh) to think that out silliness had anything to do with it but at the very least it made watching the game so much more fun tonight and it definitely did me good to have something positive happening. I’ll stay silly with you all any day!
