Your back collides with cold, grimey tile as you slide onto the floor in the corner of the subway stop. You stopped counting the number of Curses you’d exorcized a long time ago, but you knew it was a large enough number to have your body physically depleted. Your eyes shut from sheer exhaustion as you continue to steady your rapid breathing and you sense him collapse on the floor next to you. You don’t open your eyes, even when his forehead falls onto your shoulder and you can feel his heavy exhales through your clothes. Somewhere in the dim fluorescent lights, his right hand grabs your left, holding it tightly as he grounds himself in your presence. 

“Fuck, I’m so fucking tired,” he mutters against your body. Like clockwork, your fight-or-flight response starts to recede now that he’s here. You’re always safe when he’s here. “I’m so, so tired.”

“I know, baby. I know.” 

“Are you okay? Are you safe?”

“I’m safe, ‘toru. Even more so now that you’re here. Just rest.” The familiar feeling of Infinity extending itself to envelop you sends goosebumps on your skin; it was like his technique knew to cover you from sheer instinct after doing it so many times. Whether he knows it or not, he slowly starts to completely slump against you and you let him, wrapping your arms around his shoulders while his head fits snugly under your chin. His body continues to melt into you when you rub his back without him asking and sighing when your fingers comb through his hair. If Nanami or Yaga saw you two curled up on the dirty floor, neglecting your duties of slaying Curses, they’d have a field day. But, as of now, the only people in the green-tinted underground were you and Satoru. 

“We gotta get back out there,” he groans and you tighten your grip on his shoulders ever so slightly to pull him back to you. You didn’t want him to go yet, and it seemed like he didn’t want to, either. The universe allowed Satoru very limited moments to catch his breath and you damn sure weren’t going to let him rush into danger again so quickly. 

“Give yourself a few more seconds to just breathe, please. No one’s gonna hurt us right now,” you murmur into his hair. “I won’t let them.” He huffs out half a laugh at the irony, at your promise to protect the one who’s supposed to be guarding everyone else.

“Thank you, angel. Just give me a little longer and I’ll get up.”

“Take all the time you need; I’ll stay here forever if you need me.”

Heeeeey! i’m not dead! 😃 So uhhhh sorry I haven’t posted anything in forever. I still check tumblr for sweet sweet meme content, but as far as art goes, I haven’t really had the time or energy, unfortunately. I miss art........SO much. But with my job being as stupid and demanding as it currently is, I’m just....drained most days. But I did manage to crank this out for the Beetlejuice on Broadway fanart mural contest, AND MY PIECE GOT ACCEPTED!! It is currently on display among hundreds of other amazing pieces in a mural on Broadway, & next week, I will be flying out to the east coast to see my piece (& the musical) in person! I’ll be sure to take pics & post them here when I have the chance, but in the meantime, enjoy the digital version. Also wanna give a huge shoutout & thanks to all the people who have been liking & reblogging all my old fallout art. SO, @cyle , I've actually started using Twitter properly for the first time ever (not cuz Elon, I just hit the daily like limit here too often) and honestly I understand the hate but at the same time I love the tabs each user gets on their own Twitter page.

Specifically, replies.

I love how twitter replies work, I think it's really cleverly designed.

Quote tweet is essentially reblog - it's literally the same thing but stripped down: without showing the via, without being able to see all of the previous comments. So of course it's not feasible for conversations like how tumblr's reblog is, and in general retweet is just awful for content curation, but anyway that's besides the point.

Reply allows for nicely layed out conversations. It fixes the issue of recursive indentation to show consecutive replies to a specific comment, it fixes just tagging the person you're replying to and hoping they know which comment you're replying to, it fixes major platforms (Instagram, tiktok, YouTube, Facebook)'s unhelpful hybrid of both. Tapping through reply tweets, retweeting them, replying to them, it all just makes sense, to me anyway.

Now, if we somehow display reblogs as if they were reply tweets, we'd be implementing replies in the tumblr way! We'd be introducing reblog replies - or something like that, for the lack of a better name.

Reblogging as a user experience would remain exactly the same. The user would be presented with the familiar Tumblr "reblog chain" post, and can reblog it normally, either adding their own text/media or not , along with their reblog.

BUT, the reblogs tab for each post would act like a twitter replies interface - where the user is presented with the most reblogged (with text/media) or liked reblogs (with text/media) first, and then expanding each reblog to reveal more and more reblogs that act in exactly the same way as the one described.

Tumblr and Twitter are vastly different platforms. I love the current way reblogging for conversation works. I think it's just as unique and brilliant as Twitter replies. And it reflects the vastly different nature of the way tumblr is supposed to be used compared to twitter. But , as we all know, Elon happened, and even Duolingo tweeted about returning to tumblr, so there is a very high interest right now in making tumblr at least a bit more like Twitter, so as to accelerate the adoption of ex tweeters. So that they feel a bit more at home here, feature wise, whilst knowing the platform they're on is in safe hands (big up Matt🙏)

I'll add that it is smart to take features from rising platforms such as tiktok as opposed to declining platforms such as Twitter. And Tumblr is way more art & media focused than Twitter - so seems more attractive to the likes of Instagram and tiktok and Pinterest users when Twitter doesn't as much.

But even Matt himself said in an interview, Tumblr could easily be a bigger and better twitter than Twitter is! It already is better in many ways, and bigger because it FEELS bigger because old posts recirculate, nothing has a expiry date!! But yeah it just needs something for the ex tweeters. And me. I love reply tweets٩(♡ε♡ )۶

Those are just my thoughts on one aspect in particular. I hope this can be useful to consider. All the best!! Posting here as opposed to feedback support request because it may need some debating amongst the tumblr users.

1. Finally get to post Twilight oc content (r those even still a thing??? loool) anyway, here's mine 😅

Note: It's kinda of an au where I insert my own character

Sum info:

Her name is Meredith Grant, I named her based on Clan Grant of Scotland. And as you can tell she is a member of the Scottish clan!

Meredith was turned by the Scottish clan leader, Aileene Campbell in 1251 AD when she's around 25-26 years old. Making her roughly 795 years old by 2021 (quite young yes)

New born is the hardest years for her. Due to her child like behaviour and curiosity she keeps forgetting about her new gained strength to the point where they have to keep her locked in the castle

Meredith Isn't as gifted like her other clan mates, but was known to have a superior Strength and Enhanced Flexibility. Strongest in her clan in fact

And yes, she is supposed to be Felix Volturi's mate. Not bcuz it's a self insert but bcuz I can plus they're cute together and Felix deserves some love as well. Goodnight 🙄🙌

{Personality}

Natalia was first introduced as being friendly faced, obedient, polite and a bit reserved. However, Natalia is actually fairly observant of others and their abilities, such as towards Karl Heisenberg. Whom, she shares quite a special bond with (Much to Dimitrescu's dismay)

Natalia can be quite air headed and rather dreamy due to her illness. Occasionally pronouncing some words very slow and stretching a words vowel. She can be caring and sympathetic as well, as shown as when she overs to help Ethan Winters Escape the Castle. Despite this, Natalia can be quite scary herself when she's angry. And rather sensitive at this state, for one wrong move can make her snap

{Backstory}

Although not a noble, the Bátori's was known to consist of servants & maids who works for higher ranks families such as the Dimitrescu, Beneviento, Moreau & Heisenberg. With no exceptions of Natalia herself. At a young age, Natalia suffers from polycythemia vera an illness where her body creates too much red blood cell. During her time working for Alcina Dimitrescu, Natalia was subjected to a cadou experiment, which was considered a failure due to her blood illness. However it does came with an unexpected side effects such as her later developed Hemokinesis which allows her to control her blood and keep her alive for quite longer than expected. Althoung not fully recovering from her illness but deemed very precious, Dimitrescu decided to keep Natalia alive as her blood supplies to make Sanguis Virginis and sometimes a snack for her daughters.

fatty boom boom - die antwoord & pon de floor - major lazer oh and i think theres some rapper with a video where theres like ladies dancing on beds and then they get all snakey or something.. those three i recall feeling like nah, noooooope. So crazy in the making me feel not right sense. Crazy like requiem for a dream. i dont recommend anyone watch any of these. tbh im not real into music videos cuz 1 i dont need somebody else (thats almost always not the band) telling me what a song is about and 2 i dont want to affiliate the song with some mental image that isnt self developed. my imagination is always better + its a creatively active way to listen to music
