VET EMERGENCY HELP

hi guys, i hate having to ask anyone for money ever, but recently after changing the groomer i take my dog to, i found out that the previous groomer, despite charging us for it and promising she was doing it, was NOT in fact taking care of my dog, luna's, teeth.

now they're infected and require veterinary attention, they need to be removed under anaesthesia and i can't afford the treatment. the full treatment, taking care of the inflammation, removing the teeth and anaesthesia are going to cost me over 400 euro.

if you are able to, please consider donating to my paypay, or ko-fi, to handle that bill, and i promise to pay back as much as i can, as soon as i can, probably over the next 2-3 months. i also promise to provide all the receipts when everything is handled.

Hi editblr! My name is Pyro and I've been a member of your community since last December, since I've joined I've noticed some slight issues that I wanted to speak out about here!

Specifically I want to talk about accessibility and the lack thereof. A majority of people who make graphics do not put image descriptions nor do they make it clear that there are no image descriptions, which can be really upsetting for those using screenreaders.

If you put an image description then those with vision problems can still know what you created and can feel a little more included. This could also benefit those with wifi problems that don't allow images to load.

In addition to the lack of image descriptions, there is also very limited translations for text quirks / colored text / fancy fonts. All of which can effect screenreaders or could prevent anyone from reading. Many colors of text do not work with every theme someone may have with tumblr and could prevent them from knowing what you're saying. Fancy fonts and typing quirks can be incredibly hard to read at times for all people and provided a quick translation under a cut could be incredibly helpful for so many people.

Lastly, many graphics and such may be major eyestrains. Especially graphics with numerous pngs, gifs, and images pasted all over with bright colors and psds with incredibly high contrast. These images can hurt peoples eyes and so I recommend tagging any potential eyestrain posts as 'eyestrain' for those who have the tag filtered.

Overall, I'm encouraging people to start adding more image descriptions, translations, and tags in their posts in order to make editblr more accessible for all kinds of people. If you need help with any of these, please do not hesitate to reach out I am more than willing to write things out for you.

Hey hey! I’m Fay! And I did a thing!

Cutting to the chase- and it’s probably obvious considering the link, but I made a game!! It’s a VERY short one, but regardless! It’s a game! I made it as a gift for @levshany for her AU; Hello Hats! I love the AU a lot and a bit over a year ago she posted some concept art of a game version of it, and ever since I’ve been itching to give making it real a shot! And I finally did it!!

Here’s the concept art in question:

It took about 4 days to complete, and it was a lot of fun!! It was my first independent game project(though not my first game project cough cough @dream-trail-rpg) so it was definitely a learning experience, especially with the kind of game it is being, well, not what RPGmaker was built for! But I loved figuring out how to make everything work! And drawing everything was a blast as well!! Maybe I could make a post of all the WIPs and how the early drafts looked, concept art, the process, all that jazz!

I’d love to do something else like this, but it’s not my place to continue this story(even if that’d be cool)- so maybe I’ll make something in the same general gameplay style in the future- who knows!

BUT! That’s enough of my rambles, if I keep going we’ll be here forever- lmao
