Whomping bobular! A Recess continuation pitch bible just got leaked!

Interestingly the leader of the gang is Vince and Spinelli's daughter and it's outright stated in the pitch bible that T.J. did have a thing for Spinelli as adults, but it was during a time she wasn't interested in dating. As a T.J./Spinelli shipper it's a little bittersweet, BUT I'm just more interested in how the overall story goes (shipping's just a "for fun" afterthought). Also it's a nice little subversion of "the new lead is the original lead's kid", where the new main character IS the kid of two of the original main characters...but not THE main lead.

And there are so many great things in here! Spinelli is bi (and so is her daughter)! Gus transitioned and is now Nikki! One of the new main kids is Autistic!

I'm really sad that Disney seems to have passed up this show, but honestly let's face it....it's too good for them. Actually looks like it's currently in "limbo"; Andrew Lawrence (T.J.) has apparently read the script recently.

Hopefully one day the pitch bible for the original gets leaked; I don't think anything from the Disney Afternoon/One Saturday Morning era came from that huge leak recently (though I know the 101 Dalmatians: The Series bible has been floating around before then).

Kim Possible was my jammmm. When Ron and Kim became a couple my dreams came trueeeeee!

I watched Powerpuff Girls religiously as a kid. Like at that time they were the only badass girl show around when I was a kid. Then when I got older I discovered THE ANIME VERSION Powerpuff Girls Z and it was so goodddddd!

Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends made me think when I went to bed my imaginary friends went here for their sleep 😂😂

NO ONE HAS SEEMED TO WATCH THIS!!! Code Lyoko was so ahead of its time!!! This show let me have my first ever ship ulrichxyumi 😍😍😍😍😍😍

If you don't know what Avatar the Last Airbender is... Have you been living under a rock? Me, my brother and our friends loved this so much that we convinced ourselves we could control the elements 😂😂😂😂

Another thing no one has watched. I loved Z-squad. My first dabble into Korean content. I loved them so much. I would play Z squad by myself and play all 3 girls 😂😂

OKAY OKAY OKAY!!! I could talk about Tokyo Mew Mew (I watched the dubbed one as a kid) all day long. This was the first anime I ever watched, even before I knew what anime was at first. Now anime is the main thing I watch. And when I realized this was anime explains so much about myself. The fact I was drawn into anime as a kid. Like I was obsessed with this show. I watched this at the age of 10. I didn't even watch Sailor Moon until I was 18. I HAVEN'T WATCHED THE REMAKE YET IM SO SCARED.

POP GIRL HAD SO MANY GOOD SHOWS. Ruby Gloom let me tell you. I always thought Ruby Gloom was Tim Burton's Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends. Misery was my favourite character.

The upcoming Stitch event feels like those trailers of Lilo and Stitch where Stitch intrudes disney films. Stitch has intruded in Disney movies, now he has intruded in Twisted Wonderland too

Yes!! There were commercials and teasers for the Lilo and Stitch movie where Stitch is shown invading other worlds, such as Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, etc.

I also remember that the Lilo and Stitch animated series had a ton of crossover episodes with other Disney Channel original cartoons. There was American Dragon Jake Long, Recess, The Proud Family, and Kim Possible!

So Twisted Wonderland is just another universe/time period/part of the world Stitch is invading… Honestly, such a natural evolution 🤡 I, for one, happily welcome our new fluffy blue alien overlord—

This is the best multi-season joke I've ever seen in a TV show and I demand it be recognized. There is a clique in the show Recess called "The Ashleys", girls who all have a very popular first name and are obsessed with fashion, and all in Gr 4:

Later, we meet their younger sisters, all in Kindergarten, all named Brittany:

And then we meet their brothers, all in Gr 2, all named "Tyler"

You have to watch all six seasons to appreciate the fully glory of this joke. I personally love it. And I had three boys in my class once named Tyler!
