MS World Discoverer was a German expedition cruise ship. It hit an uncharted reef in the Sandfly Passage 29. April 2000. The hole was too big to get it repaired on the spot, so all the guests were taken ashore. A few hours later the captain ran the ship full speed on ground in Rodrick bay. (via sv_manjana)

Gouqi island is located in the Shengsi archipelago of about 400 islands. Jane Qing captured the stunning images of this city of seemingly endless buildings, which were a part of a fishing village years ago. The region has a history of doing well, even today, in the fishing industry. Yet, this particular island seems to have been forgotten.
Each discovery of abandoned cityscapes is captivating, but one covered in beautiful ivy and greenery surely enchants in its own way.

(PD) so how are the other survivors doing?
Makoto:Well Byakuya is still trying to rebuild his family, Kyoko is still trying to do Detective work, Yasuhiro is staying with his mom because he doesn't wanna be apart of her and still trying to make money...and succeeding from the looks of it, Hina is working as a swim instructor and trying to participate in swimming competitions and Toko is still writing her books while Jill...well she's not killing anymore. They also pitch in Hope's Peak from time to time.
Junko:Understandably they don't wanna talk to me...at least at first, lately they seem to be coming around...or maybe I'm going crazy.
Hajime:We're all basically staying in Jabberwock most of the time and try to fix the world we destroyed back to normal, although that's mostly been finished by now, so we just live there and sometimes come to mainland in disguise.
Natsumi:Me and Sato are the ones who go from Jabberwock to mainland the most since we're the ones that have Business in both, we also bring the others to Jabberwock to pass the time and sometimes we answer stuff there...like right now.
Shuichi:We're mostly trying to find the assholes that put us in the killing game and keep dismantling them until they never ever come back...but aside from that Maki is working on an Orphanage, since it was one of her talents now and she wanted to actually help children and not fake memories of doing that. She's also working on becoming an astronaut to honor Kaito's memory.
Miu:As for Himiko she wants to make magic shows for real, she also got into practicing martial arts and drawing in honor you probably know who. Gonta is working on studying bugs, becoming gentleman and becoming a becoming a leader in honor of Kokichi....and we all also help on Makoto's Hope's Peak.

Seeing a lot of posts about the Palestinian flag, and it got me thinking about indigenous flags around the world.
Māori:
Kalaallit Nunaat:
Haudenosaunee
Nunatsiavut:
Australian Aboriginal:
Torres Strait Islands:
Rapa Nui:
Kurdistan:
Sami:
Ainu:
Of course, these are just a handful. May they all reclaim their stolen lands.

May 5 is the Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People. (Also known as Red Dress Day.)
Show your support and pass on your strength by wearing red on May 5, and raising awareness. And if you have never read the Reclaiming Power and Place report, you can do so here.
Additionally, while the day is typically centred in Turtle Island, let us also not forget our international cousins, especially in Palestine and Sudan.
