Great question!

So, what you're describing is something that's possible for everyone regardless of orientation, sometimes relationships aren't what we thought they would be and that's okay. Though, you may be confusing Demiromantic with Lithromantic/Akioromantic. Lithromantics are typically those who experience romantic attraction until it is recpricated, then that attraction fades, or they in general would prefer it not to be reciprocated.

Demiromantic refers to requiring a strong emotional bond (most commonly platonic, but it does not have to be! Plenty of people have different types of bonds they form.) before experiencing romantic attraction.

Ryder's LI react to Ryder getting jealous

In Ryder’s defence, all of the LI’s are pretty amazing, so it’s only natural that someone would be interested. Only characters that are possible serious LI’s were used here.

Suvi:

Oh man, she feels bad. Sara is the love of her life and she’d never even think of messing around on her, and she knows that Sara knows that. But apparently, the Asari at the Nexus bar didn’t, and with every flirty word and drink sent her way, she can feel her girlfriend quietly bristling beside her. She sends them all back with a polite yet firm declination, and makes sure to hold Sara’s hand extra tight and give her a little more PDA than she’s usually comfortable with. There’s definitely more than one heartfelt ‘You know I love you, right?’ on the way home.

Gil:

He’s a suave guy, he knows that. He’s pretty used to having guys hit on him, and he likes to flirt back. Initially, he assumed Scott would be alright with this, since it’s how he’s always been. Apparently, he really wasn’t, and Scott quietly confronts him after a sales clerk was getting a little too friendly when Gil tried to talk his way into a discount. Scott’s not mad, not really, but Gil can see the hurt in his eyes and that’s worse than any possible scolding he could ever get. As soon as they leave the shop, he makes a point of telling him that he won’t be using his ‘charms’ like that anymore to get 10% off of parts for the Nexus.

Reyes:

Obliviousness and then confusion, because what does the second ruler of Kadara have to worry about? And really, it makes sense that people are trying to butter him up all the time for some sort of favour. He really didn’t think it’d be an issue for Ryder, all things considered. But he makes up for it by slyly rebuking any advances (while still not stepping on any toes) and being extra affectionate in private. Ryder can look forward to extra physicality with him when no one else is looking, and in public, he’ll definitely go out of his way to show them off. 

Jaal:

Angara flirt liberally, and that’s a fact. To them, it means less than it does with humans. Luckily for Ryder, he’s more in tune with them than they think, and after a particularly awkward evening at the Rebellion's headquarters on Aya, with a very stiff and distant Ryder by his side, he encourages them to share what’s bothering them so much. He feels terrible that he didn’t anticipate the differences between his people and Ryder’s, and after a few explanations with cuddles and kisses, he promises that he’ll be mindful of the way he reacts to regular Angaran flirting from now on. 

Peebee:

In all honesty, sometimes she forgets that it isn’t just her by herself anymore. Like a few others, she’s a natural flirt, and she’s used to more casual flings, so keeping up with an actual relationship is a bit of a challenge, especially at first. Ryder has to pull her aside quite a bit at first and remind her of the fact, because she loves them, she really does, and she wants to make it work. She still gets a little flirty with strangers now and then, because she’s Peebee, but it’s not nearly as overtly sexual as before. Plus, she flirts way more with Ryder now, both in private and in public, and makes an extra show of it too. 

Vetra:

She’s not really aware of how many people are attracted to her (hint: it’s a lot) so it kind of goes over her head until Ryder points it out, and that a lot of the times, her basic politeness can be interpreted as recprication. It’s not the intent at all, and she’s a little ashamed of it too. Not really one for PDA, Vetra will sometimes slip in a mention of ‘her partner’ in conversation with someone if she can sense them getting a little too touchy for hers or Ryder’s liking. If that’s not enough, she’s also not above bluntly informing someone that she’s most definitely a one-human kind of Turian. 

Cora:

She thinks Scott is kidding at first, because what does he have to be jealous of? Most people find her too intimidating to hit on or even glance towards. It occurs to her that people might just be doing it to rattle him, which in her opinion isn’t okay at all. Though they’re not engaged or anything like that, she takes to wearing a ring that he helped pick out. They’re serious enough, after all, and it’s a universal enough sign of ‘taken’ that any advances that he’s picked up on basically completely stop.

Liam: 

To be fair, he does spend an awful lot of time without a shirt on, and his body is damn fine. He liked the attention before Sara, and got pretty used to it too, but he eventually notes that she gets a little bit chilly with him when others flock too closely. His solution? Put on a damn shirt. Though it doesn’t cease completely, it helps a little. Keeping a hand on her shoulder or waist is also enough to keep most people away, and it helps her feel better too.

I haven't written in a while. I guess I've been busy. I don't fucking know. I've been making 'friends' on the island. Mostly people I work with besides V. He's sort of like me I think. Just a normalish person before the outbreak... who turned a little to crazy after it. He's damaged. We're all damaged. He's just embracing it I guess. Thats good for him I guess? Bad for other people... but oh fucking well. I've officially opened a store with Nova. It's nice to be your own boss. I haven't been spending too much time at S-mart. It's just kind of become a place I assosiate with the Howlers now, I guess? I've been dealing with a lot of shit too. I took a job at the hospital on the side. My co-workers and boss are nice. I've made some 'friends' out of them. They're definitely not Nova, but they're nice enough. They trust me, which isn't something I recpricate, but... they don't need to know that. I've also seen all of them naked. Don't ask. I also reunited with Anthony! Exciting stuff right??? Wrong. Wanna know how I fucking reunited with him? By shooting him in the fucking face. Because he was a fucking zombie. That boy crossed the country to find me, and ended up turning into one of those things... and I had to kill him. Honestly, my life is fucked. I got so drunk, really hoping I'd somehow forget it all, but it didn't work. I just ended up a crying asshole. I'm over it. Or I'm trying to be. I don't fucking know anymore. I just need to move on quickly, or it's going to fucking kill me.
